The trip was long and perilous it seemed. There had been much riding and perhaps even more walking by foot then Morgause had expected to get to King Cenred's palace. The exterior was nothing too special compared to other palaces, but it was still a palace. In it's own right it was beautiful, and when she approached the gate, ordering an audience with the King, the guards had a mind to ask her reasoning. To that Morgause just smirked and muttered something about how they should be stopping people from stealing in the market place, and that somehow or another had managed to get their attention away from her.
Slipping inside the castle walls quickly, while the men outside were distracted with a miniature riot in the market place, she began to wander the castle. Eventually she found herself utterly baffled. Either she was searching the wrong wing or the man was hiding some place. Opening a door the young woman found what she was looking for. The King's chambers. She knew by the fact that there were guards outside the door.
"Excuse me, I Morgause LeFay have come for the king. You will let me enter." She ordered the guards whom rolled their eyes and opened their sire's door. "My lord, there is a woman here to see you, shall we allow her in?" One of the men had called.

There was something quite entertaining about watching another man beg for his life. Cenred had seen this many times and still the satisfaction didn't wear off. He was currently in the throne room listening aimlessly to some villager talk about how he wasn't gaining enough crops and that it was his fault - he should be listening to what others proposed and help out the neighbouring villages.
Blah, Blah, Blah...
Cenred yawned, "Are you finished yet?" he asked the farmer who just stood there with an accusing expression.
"No - not yet" the farmer fought back. He was a brave one indeed. Most people would be shaking by now.
Cenred rose from his chair calmly and walked over to him, making sure that the look in his eyes was a menacing one. "Well then allow me to help you"
The sound of a sword and the gasp of the farmer were the only ones to fill the room now. Cenred chuckled as he withdrew his sword and passed it to one of his men with a disgusted look. "Clean it - i can't have a pauper's blood staining my reputation". He looked down at the farmer and prodded him with his foot. Dead. "Take him away, im sure he won't be missed" he ordered, but then held up his hand as the guards went to carry the body out. "Actually, make sure that everyone sees him - it's always good to show off the latest catch - gets the hearts racing". The guards laughed and dragged the body away.
The door opened suddenly and in walked two of his other guards. "My lord, there is a woman here to see you, shall we allow her in?"
"A woman?" he raised an eyebrow. It was very rare to see a woman inside his castle, only ones who he'd had arrested or something. More importantly, why would one be here to see him? The women from the town and outline villages didnt dare set foot there willingly.
He turned back to the guards and smirked. "Well then gentleman, we must'nt keep the lady waiting"

Hearing the sounds of a sword from within, followed by a startled gasp and a thud she grew curious as to what had happened within the walls of the throne room. Surely it was some low class barbarian who tried to pass it's problems off as being caused by the king. A fatal mistake from the stories she'd heard about the king. It was just the kind of man that she wanted to be able to use for her advantage. There could even be some fun advantages to it, if she were lucky enough.
Hearing the voice inside give orders to clean it, and yadda yadda, she felt the corners of her mouth twitch up in a smirk. It was exciting to see someone using their power.
With the guards having been told not to keep the lady waiting, one seized her by the arm forcefully and shoved Morgause forward.
Seething the woman turned to the man who dared touch her and yanked her arm free. "You will never touch another again, for you do not dare to touch a priestess of the old religion in such a fashion and expect to get away with it." Morgause hissed out.
A few words of old English, and a pained scream later, the guard was outside in the hallway, in a crumpled ball against the wall. The second guard had ran out with his tail between his legs and this only made Morgause smirk.
In long, elegant strides Morgause positioned herself to stand in front of the king. She curtsied and then looked up at him, still smug and overly content with how the situation was playing out.
"My lord, King Cenred. I am Morgause LeFay and I am here to strike a deal with you." She said, tone even and yet there was an icy chill to her voice. Her gaze settled on the man before her, and she eyed him for a moment taking in details of the way he stood, to the shape of his body and finally settled with eye-contact after a good fifteen seconds.

He heard the commotion outside the room. One of the guards screaming and a painful thud, as though a body had been slammed very hard onto either the floor or the wall. He had his back to the doors at this moment. That guard would be fine, obviously the woman had probably kicked him somewhere quite precious judging from the noise.
The sound of confident footsteps now crossed the floor and Cenred turned slowly, his eyes resting on a blonde haired woman. Ok, he'd not been expecting that. She was very beautiful he had to admit, but for anyone who possessed that much, there had to be a catch.
The visitor curtsied and finally spoke. "My lord, King Cenred. I am Morgause LeFay and I am here to strike a deal with you."
The corners of Cenred's mouth twitched as he flopped onto his throne and looked up at her. "I've heard of you - a priestess of the old religion if im correct?" He took a goblet of wine from one of the guards who had offered it and sipped it, his eyes looking over the rim at Morgause. "So - what would a woman like you want to deal with me for?" He stood up again and thrust the goblet into the guards hands.
Circling Morgause like a vulture to it's prey, he leant his head down next to her ear, "I trust it is something that will not waste my time, for your sake my lady" he hissed and stood back up again, walking to the window that overlooked the courtyard.
He'd listen to what she had to offer, but there was no way that he would bargain so easily with woman. Not even a beautiful one with a reputation such as hers.

Watching the male plop unceremoniously down onto the throne made her roll her eyes. She had been spoken of, apparently and the words alone were confirmation of that. The man had correctly stated that she was a priestess of the old religion, and taken a goblet of wine. His eyes were like a vulture's, staying solely on her. So, he wanted to know what it would be that she'd had a deal for him of.
The following motion had left her smirking as the young blonde woman followed him over to the window and she stood beside him, eyes training to the courtyard for a moment before settling on the king again. This was too good of an opportunity to pass up. With a chuckle she moved over to his other side and leant in close to the brown haired man.
She had to admit to herself that he was attractive, but that was not why she was there. She was there to make a deal with him. She had to stand on the tips of her toes to whisper in the man's ear.
"It's simple. And I don't believe it will be a waste of time, my lord." She chimed with amusement. She in a way felt that it would become a game, and she wanted to keep him guessing. Her instinct told her that it wouldn't have been an intelligent move for her to not tell him what he wanted however, her mind was telling her to hold it against him and keep him wanting more. With a smirk she chuckled softly. "For, you want to bring an end to the Pendragons, is that not correct?" She asked before pulling back and walking over to the man's throne.
She glanced at it then placed a hand on the back of the furniture. "And do you have any way to bring it about? That is where we will make our deal. I will help you, but I'd need your help to dethrone Uther Pendragon and his son." She said as her eyes settled on the tanned man again. She knew that her offer would in the long run strike a fancy to him for a reason similar to her own. Cenred had personal strife against Uther. Morgause had personal strife against Uther, as well as a hatred brought on by the religious prosecution and the innocent lives that had been taken in the Great Purge, and every year since that day twenty summers ago.
"So what do you say?" She purred out, as she kept her gaze intently on the man by the window. She knew better then to let her gaze off him, in case he turned out to be against her, though she doubted it.

She’d followed him to his side. Just as he expected that she would – after all she wanted to make the deal. Morgause had to stand on tiptoe in order to reach his ear. He wasn’t prepared to look at her. It could cause some destruction of his mind, and the words that came next were not exactly helping either.
"It's simple. And I don't believe it will be a waste of time, my lord."
“It better be, Im a busy man Morgause – I have a kingdom to run, people to put to death, you know the score” he rolled his eyes. Cenred was still a little intrigued as to what she had to offer though.
"For, you want to bring an end to the Pendragons, is that not correct?" she finally said
Cenred looked down at her. “I’ve wanted to bring an end to them for many years, everyone knows that” he told her, “and I suppose im not wrong in believing that you do too”
He watched her walk to his throne and rest her hand on the back of it. He couldn’t help but notice some elegance in her glide, even if she bore a mark of a certain amount of evil that he’d heard of. "And do you have any way to bring it about? That is where we will make our deal. I will help you, but I'd need your help to dethrone Uther Pendragon and his son."
Ah. So that was the catch. Cenred chuckled, “and why would you need my help? After all – you alone could bring down the pair of leeches single-handed. We both know that, so what is it that you really want from me? Because im certain that it’s not just the blood of both Pendragons on my hands.”
Cenred wasn’t going to be taken for a fool and if Morgause thought for one moment that she could, then she certainly wasn’t going the right way about striking this deal.
"So what do you say?" her voice could have shattered his strength, but he was a King, and he had far more strength in mentality that she did. He smirked at her and shook his head.
“We may both share our hatred of Uther Pendragon, Morgause, but attacking Camelot and taking it for myself is not currently on my ‘to do’ list” He walked away from her before she could say anything else to change his mind. He wasn’t prepared to lose men just for the sake of watching Uther die… although, it would be quite fun.

It was expected the response that she'd received. She knew that the man claimed to be busy and the very way he spoke made it clear that he was a strong independent man. One that at the same time was a great king, ruling with an iron fist.
"Oh, but of course, I know the score." Morgause stated with a chuckle. She knew that the man looking down at her was one whom wanted to bring the end to the wretched Pendragons. The fact that he caught onto it so quickly proved to her that the man was not too much of an imbecile.
"Oh, you're certainly correct on that assumption Cenred." She stated with a small chuckle. She had half a mind to take a seat on the throne, though kept from doing such a thing, as she did not want to bring insult just yet. "Of course I do. I have many ways, but just to take down the vial Uther would not do what I need. To take Camelot, I'd need to make the citizens weak, or at least have an army at my side. This is the reason why. I could take Arthur and Uther's lives and I'd be satisfied. But, why would I do that and leave Camelot without ruler? Would you not like to take it over with him gone?" She responded with a regal air to her tone.
She knew well that with her magic she could do almost anything she wanted. But, now her objective was to gain Cenred as an ally and to take advantage of that. "I am of noble birth, my father is Gorlois, and my mother the lady Viviane. Uther does not know that I am even alive, as he ordered my death twenty years ago. My hate of that man is not without reason, he is treacherous." The blonde woman stated as she tried to press him on to do as she bid.
Upon seeing the man walk away from her, she glared towards the door. A few words and the door slammed shut as her eyes turned gold.
"No man shall walk away with out finishing a conversation. Cenred, I would not allow your men to die. I know how to keep them from dying." She said, and smirked. The cup of life. If she could only find it then the immortal would be able to be ruled over, and she'd be able to seize Camelot. "Certainly you are walking away from this in fear of your servants losing their lives to take Camelot. Am I incorrect?"

He was right in thinking that Morgause wanted to also bring down Arthur and Uther. "I am of noble birth, my father is Gorlois, and my mother the lady Viviane. Uther does not know that I am even alive, as he ordered my death twenty years ago. My hate of that man is not without reason, he is treacherous."
Cenred chuckled, “treacherous does not begin to sum up Uther Pendragon, I can think of plenty more words to describe him”. His hatred of Uther had gone back as far as he could remember. A tyrant of his own Kingdom – no King should be seen as that.
As he walked away the doors slammed shut. Cenred stopped and turned to Morgause, glaring at her as he did so. It was clear that she wasn’t about to go down without a fight or safe in the knowledge that she had her deal.
“You clearly do not know who you are dealing with” he growled. He knew that he was tempting fate here, but he didn’t care. He wanted to show Morgause who was the ruler around here. "No man shall walk away with out finishing a conversation. Cenred, I would not allow your men to die. I know how to keep them from dying." She was now giving him the smirk that had become all too familiar with him in the last five minutes.
“Is that so? And I suppose it involves your voodoo magic?” He bit back "Certainly you are walking away from this in fear of your servants losing their lives to take Camelot. Am I incorrect?"
Cenred laughed and shook his head, “How very wrong you are” he lied, “They’re just as worthless to me as anyone else…no offence” he told her coolly.
If he lost his entire army just for Camelot then it wasn’t worth it. They could be put to far better use. They could argue about this all night for all he cared. He knew what Morgause was capable of but a deal like this didn’t exactly appeal to him. It needed to be spiced up. He wasn’t going to get any satisfaction watching Uther and Arthur being brought down from the sidelines.
“Even though your offer interests me Morgause, I am not some ‘piece’ on your chessboard of anarchy.”

Morgause kept her head held high, giving in to the temptation to sit on the throne and crossed her legs at the ankles. She stared at the tanned male and folded her hands on top of her lap. That smirk never leaving her lips. It was all too rich for her.
“treacherous does not begin to sum up Uther Pendragon, I can think of plenty more words to describe him” was what he had said. Those words made her want to laugh as even Cenred had been called a cruel, and treacherous king. before, and he was sitting there thinking of words to describe Uther? That nearly made her laugh as she thought of it. Both of the adults in the room had a reputation that the other knew quite well.
The glare that was delivered towards her did not phase her, as she was stony as the most seasoned of the priestesses of the old religion. The words following surprised her but did nothing more. The fool thought he could speak back to her threateningly. That did not please her in the least. "I know full well, who you are and I am your equal if not superior here." She snapped harshly, though she shook her head. She knew the man believed Magic to not be credible, but to call it voodoo was not something she agreed on.
"Voodoo is not magic. Magic is a gift bestowed upon the goddess." The blond woman stated keeping her tone calm and even. The smirk left her as she stared at the male, instantly something told her that he was lying. It was part of being a priestess of the old religion. A deceiver could not be deceived.
"And who exactly is it that says that you don't care? You should not lie to a priestess. I have the sight to see right through you." She hissed. The fact of the matter was that she needed to get him excited some how or another. Then the idea crossed her. The best way of getting him to engage in the deal was to allow him to make terms as well.
"Tell me. What would you want to gain other then Camelot from a deal with me." She ordered, tone sounding almost bored.

Cenred couldn’t help but think of how Morgause naturally sat on his throne. She didn’t look the slightest bit out of place. It was as though it was made for her. She certainly looked like she was comfortable there.
He circled the throne as she glared at him for threatening her obviously. "I know full well, who you are and I am your equal if not superior here."
She was toying with him now, even if she was angry – she could still find ways of manipulating him.
“Superior?” he tutted “ha! You think that a woman of your kind is more superior than a king in both blood and name? I think not Morgause, but thank you for the comedic entertainment that you’re giving me so far…” He knew he was taking this very far and that she could kill him for all he knew, but what he also had in mind was that if she were desperate enough for his help then she wouldn’t do such a thing.
"Voodoo is not magic. Magic is a gift bestowed upon the goddess." Morgause went on calmly. Cenred drew a dagger from his belt and studied it’s blade, “I see…so you are pretty much like a servant then?” he cast a knowing look towards her, “and I suppose the goddess pretty much gave you immortality too?” he didn’t wait for her to reply, “No matter how powerful or superior you think you may be Morgause, people die – even the strongest are made of clay”. He said, studying his reflection in the blade before putting it back onto his belt.
"And who exactly is it that says that you don't care? You should not lie to a priestess. I have the sight to see right through you."
“Then perhaps you should eat more carrots in order to make me appear completely transparent” he bit back, “You need a far better plan than using my men for your own needs” He didn’t state how but he knew she would be interested in this – that was if she was so set on bringing down the Pendragons as he was.
“Tell me. What would you want to gain other then Camelot from a deal with me."
Cenred couldn’t help but smirk at her, circling the throne again he crouched down by her side and looked up at her. “Other than you” he chuckled, “Nothing I can truly think of at the moment – but I should really be asking you the same thing Morgause. After all, you’re the one who came running to me.”
He stood up and turned away from her so his back was now to her, “Why is that exactly?”

She was all too comfortable on the throne, it made her feel all powerful and all knowing to be sitting upon a throne, even if she was far less then a queen. The idea of being able to come into such a position of power intrigued her never the less. It was something she greatly desired, though she'd never say such a thing out loud.
Watching as the man circled around her she kept her stony expression, although she was starting to feel irritated. To her men were simple, and yet because they were so simple, they became pig-headed and annoying. To hear of a man speak down to a woman was not something she had grown up with, as Women at the isle were the leaders and the men the warriors.
"Superior?" "That is what I said. I said superior." She retorted, almost as if chiding towards a child who had been caught stealing kindling from the fire place. “ha! You think that a woman of your kind is more superior than a king in both blood and name? I think not Morgause, but thank you for the comedic entertainment that you’re giving me so far…” These words of insult were enough to make her snap. Standing up from the throne she threw an icy glare at the king and cleared her throat. "A woman of my kind, you say? I believe that I am superior to you. I can use the elements to my advantage, I have been blessed by the goddess of the old religion, and I have power you couldn't even begin to think of." She hissed out, and stood from where she had been seated.
"A man, no matter his blood status will ever talk to me with such a tone. I could kill you, right now if I wanted, Cenred." The blond woman threatened and then walked closer to the dark haired male and placed a hand under his chin. "You have no idea how simple it would be. All I would have to do would be a simple ritual and pray to the goddess for the power to do it." She purred before stepping away and back to the throne and sat herself down gracefully.
“I see…so you are pretty much like a servant then?” Cenred had dared to say, and hadn't even let her answer, although to be compared to a servant made her all the angrier. “and I suppose the goddess pretty much gave you immortality too? No matter how powerful or superior you think you may be Morgause, people die – even the strongest are made of clay” These words alone while angering her also gave her the reason to believe that Cenred had the heart of a good king deep down in him, not matter how horrible of a man he could be. Remaining quiet to hear the rest of the man's words she bit back a chuckle at his comment about carrots, and then pursed her lips. He wanted her. That stirred something in her mind and she willed away the thoughts that were running through her mind. There had to have been another meaning behind it.
"Why ever would you think of wanting me in a deal? Not that it matters." Head turned to the side, she didn't even want to look at his back. The questions had in turn been redirected towards herself, and she only had one answer.
"It is simple, I wanted to put an end to Camelot, and I believed you would have been willing to help as you are a major enemy of the Pendragons." She stated with a roll of her eyes as she crossed her arms and then her body language changed as she leant over to prop her head up on top of her hand, elbow on the an arm of the throne, other arm resting against her lap, clearly bored with the turn of conversation.
"I could always find someone else, if you're not willing."

He turned back and watched Morgause rise from the throne. He quite enjoyed watching her expression of satisfaction as she sat there. It was obvious that she was relishing the power that could be. "A woman of my kind, you say? I believe that I am superior to you. I can use the elements to my advantage, I have been blessed by the goddess of the old religion, and I have power you couldn't even begin to think of."
“I bet you do” He snorted and walked over to the table to retrieve the goblet of wine from earlier. He offered one to Morgause, holding it out for her to take. “Don’t tell me that drink is a sin, or I may have to have words with this goddess myself” he chuckled on seeing her expression now change.
"A man, no matter his blood status will ever talk to me with such a tone. I could kill you, right now if I wanted, Cenred." She was obviously enjoying any image she had of killing him swimming around in that little mind of hers.
“But we both know that without me, your so called plan to bring down Uther would be nothing but dust” he mocked. He felt the electrifying jolt as her hand touched under his chin. “You have no idea how simple it would be. All I would have to do would be a simple ritual and pray to the goddess for the power to do it."
“So you need to pray in order for your magic to work? Obviously that must be a little annoying – was it in the job description?” He followed her back to where she now took her place back on the throne. “Are you trying to state a point Morgause?” he raised a brow on seeing her sitting there just looking at him.
"Why ever would you think of wanting me in a deal? Not that it matters." Obviously she wanted him to compliment her in some shape or form. “Visa Versa – you wanted me so you chose to come here…its only fair that in return I should have you, or at least…most of the credit” he replied coolly “and I think it does matter to you” he sipped a bit of his drink again, “after all…you asked why when you could have simply ignored the question”
“It is simple, I wanted to put an end to Camelot, and I believed you would have been willing to help as you are a major enemy of the Pendragons."
“Oh I am willing to help, I just think that your ideas and ‘gifts’ from your goddess are somewhat…outdated…” he slammed the goblet down onto the table and kept himself leant over it. "I could always find someone else, if you're not willing." He heard her say.
He laughed, “and who exactly would be willing to help you? I know Uther has more enemies than friends but none of them don’t exactly see eye to eye with you either”. He stood upright again and paced in front of the throne. “No…the only way you will be able to crush Uther is by taking the one thing from him that means the most, he’ll become so weak that even a simple servant could take his crown.”
He looked back at Morgause whose chin was propped up on one hand, elbow resting graciously on the throne. “We need to take Arthur from him – and with your magic, I think I may have some idea as to how we can do it.”
He held out his hand for her to shake, “Congratulations Morgause, you’ve got yourself a deal.”

Eyes trained to the man that had walked to the table and grabbed goblets of wine, she noticed the way he was looking at her. Morgause accepted the wine gratefully and rolled her eyes at the comment he made. "Don’t tell me that drink is a sin, or I may have to have words with this goddess myself" Those words made her feel like it was all some game to him. Though there was something wrong with drinking, she shook her head and put the goblet to her lips, taking a sip of the wine before setting it down and ignoring it. Her eyes were narrowed as Cenred told her that her plan would have turned to dust if she had killed him. Then she'd sat back down and just stared at him.
The words that the king spoke rang through her head and through the nearly-empty room. "So you need to pray in order for your magic to work? Obviously that must be a little annoying – was it in the job description?" followed by "Are you trying to state a point Morgause?" The words irked her. but she'd play nice. "Not for all magic, no. But for the more powerful spells and the ones to bring pain and suffering..." She mused with a smirk, and then ignored the second question as it if she was trying to make a point. That would only give him more satisfaction.
The man certainly was a cheeky little thing, “Visa Versa – you wanted me so you chose to come here…its only fair that in return I should have you, or at least…most of the credit and I think it does matter to you after all…you asked why when you could have simply ignored the question.” The facts of the matter were that she was not going to give in, for she was the deceiver of fools, and no fool would deceive her.
"I chose the man most likely to help me succeed in my plans. I will not submit like some handmaiden, and you will get only the credit you deserve. And it does not matter to me, don't be foolish Cenred." She snapped back in retaliation. "As I said, I believed you would have been willing to help." Morgause added, and then paused to listen.
"Oh I am willing to help, I just think that your ideas and ‘gifts’ from your goddess are somewhat…outdated…” The nerve of the man was enough to anger her further and she wanted to prove to him that he was far from correct, to the point it could endanger his own well being.
“and who exactly would be willing to help you? I know Uther has more enemies than friends but none of them don’t exactly see eye to eye with you either,” Watching the king pace in front of where she sat she listened closely. It was true that Uther had more enemies then friends, but none of them would be likely to ally with herself. “No…the only way you will be able to crush Uther is by taking the one thing from him that means the most, he’ll become so weak that even a simple servant could take his crown." Now that was getting somewhere. Perhaps he wasn't as idiotic as she had been led to believe. “We need to take Arthur from him – and with your magic, I think I may have some idea as to how we can do it.” She picked her head up from where she'd been resting and then smirked in interest. When the king had extended his hand towards her, she placed her hand within his and shook his hand.“Congratulations Morgause, you’ve got yourself a deal.” He had confirmed and this made her chuckle.
"I am glad you are able to see reason, Cenred." She chimed and the smirk fell into a small smile.

Cenred took his goblet and raised it. “To the end of Camelot, and the beginning of a new era” he kept his eyes on Morgause as he took a sip.
"I am glad you are able to see reason, Cenred." She smiled back.
“I don’t reason Morgause, im more of a hands on man,” he told her. “Surely you were able to witness the result of that earlier”.
This was partially true. By ‘hands on’ he meant that his men were completely incapable of killing any trespassers or disobedient townspeople, leaving him to use his sword to put the point across – just as he had done so with the farmer today.
"I chose the man most likely to help me succeed in my plans. I will not submit like some handmaiden, and you will get only the credit you deserve. And it does not matter to me, don't be foolish Cenred”
Cenred nodded, a little satisfied at this statement, “and who put you onto my path? It can’t have been the goddess?” he snorted, “who told you that I would be the one to help you on your way?” he wanted to push the boat out with this one. Morgause was already getting annoyed by the minute, so a bit of gloating wouldn’t hurt.
“And foolish?” he topped up her goblet, “a king is never foolish…well, with the exception of one” his eyes narrowed, “Im sure we both agree on that”.
He glanced out of the window, looking out over the kingdom that he and his predecessors had made great. “It’s always been too small for me anyway” he smirked, “wouldn’t you agree Morgause?” he glanced over his shoulder at her and then turned back to the window. “My father was never one to think big – even if he hated Uther just as much as I do”. He turned on his heel and smirked, “But we, we are the ones who are going to turn Albion around for the better. Starting by taking out the boy” he referred to Arthur.
He called for a guard who came in and bowed to both Cenred and Morgause. “See that the lady has a room and meal for the evening – there are many more things to discuss”
The guard nodded and headed out. Cenred turned back to Morgause. “It’s the least I can do for a…an acquaintance”.

Morgause deftly raised her own goblet and smirked to the man's words. "To the end of Camelot and the beginning of a new era!" She repeated as she locked eye-contact with him and then raised the chalice to her lips and took a sip.
Setting it down she chuckled in an amused fashion and tutted.
“I don’t reason Morgause, im more of a hands on man, urely you were able to witness the result of that earlier”.
"Tsk, tsk. You can not see reason? You're hands on man? Well, I suppose that means you won't be keeping your hands off yourself then." She teased, taking it on in a different meaning. "But, yes. I saw earlier. Those whom don't comply must be punished, after all. What you did was right." ]She mused to herself and then stared up at him with a heated glower.
“and who put you onto my path? It can’t have been the goddess?” The man had snorted as if he were amused by how impatient she was growing. “who told you that I would be the one to help you on your way?”
She couldn't bring up any witty comment in retort. Nor, would she bring him any joy with the statement of how it came to be that she had began her journey for his assistance. As her goblet was filled she raised it back to her lips and then took a long sip from it before she stood up once more from the throne and set it down on the table. She walked over to the window and stood beside the king.
“And foolish a king is never foolish…well, with the exception of one”
"A king is never foolish? That is only if he has a queen to turn his head to the correct answer to steer him away from the foolishness." She stated and then glanced out to it.
“Im sure we both agree on that”.
"That we most certainly do agree on, by the way." She chuckled.
"Small, but it's a nice little kingdom. It's much more attractive then the Isle of the Blessed is in appearance." She stated and then was amused by the man's plan. That was far from foolish. "Brilliant, Cenred." She said and then glanced to the guard that was called in and she watched the exchange, and then chuckled.
"Yes, we are acquaintances, unless you're planning on being closer then that?" She laughed with a shake of her head. She was truly growing comfortable around the king's company, no matter how annoying he could be.

Cenred watched as Morgause’s lips met the goblet he’d offered her. she was watching him as she drank. "To the end of Camelot and the beginning of a new era!". He gave a small bow of the head, “an era where fools aren’t kings – no matter how they try” a small smirk crossed his lips and he took another sip of his drink. It was pretty good wine, he had to admit that – and he’d only have the best.
He heard Morgause tut. Now what was she being so disapproving of? Hopefully not his comment. "Tsk, tsk. You can not see reason? You're hands on man? Well, I suppose that means you won't be keeping your hands off yourself then." He laughed at this.
“My dear Morgause – reason has never been in the job description. I wont have my men doing my dirty work for me – I get far more satisfaction bringing the suffering to others than just watching like any other man too afraid of his own shadow” he replied distastefully. "But, yes. I saw earlier. Those whom don't comply must be punished, after all. What you did was right." She replied. He nodded at this and then glared at her “Of course it was – im the king?” he growled as though she were meant to know that it was his responsibility to bring on death and destruction anyway. “If I were to let one man go then people wouldn’t bow to my authority. They need to be put in their rightful place – even if it is six feet under than they expected.”
He turned back to the window as Morgause joined him – watching out. It was obvious that she would like to have part of this one day – he could see it in those fire of eyes that she had. "A king is never foolish? That is only if he has a queen to turn his head to the correct answer to steer him away from the foolishness."
He turned to her and frowned, “Would you not like to be a queen?” he asked, “all that power to relish in – knowing you could have anything you wanted at the snap of a finger. Having people recognise just how much hold you have over them?”
Morgause carried on looking out of the window. "Small, but it's a nice little kingdom. It's much more attractive then the Isle of the Blessed is in appearance."
He leant into her ear, “Because I made this land what it is today – before my father died this place was a kingdom of ruin – he lost his hold over his lands and his subjects. I corrected this for the better and now look at it…thriving with glory and a leader to match” he smirked at her. It was obvious that Morgause was begin to enjoy their conversation, now that she had him on board to bring about Uther’s downfall. Planning it with more detail would be far more fun than just daydreaming of the thought.
"Yes, we are acquaintances, unless you're planning on being closer then that?"
He snorted, “Morgause – I am a man who cares far more for my kingdom, not the advances and attractive graces of any woman who comes knocking on my door. However, if you’re offering then it would surely not be courteous of me to ignore your advances”
Given her power Morgause could probably wrap him around her little finger of she wanted him to – he wasn’t about to give into anything that she had to throw at him, unless it was a plot to kill.
