.:Physical Appearance:.Gwen has a petite build, one of which she inherited from her mother, who passed away when she was little. She has curly brunette hair that reaches mid-back when it’s left out and round brown eyes to match. The same brown eyes that have a tendency of doubling in size when she is emotional. Gwen has a round face with petite features. She also has a small birthmark on her stomach which is shaped like a bent diamond.

Gwen isn’t very well off money wise so she tends to recycle her clothing, which are all dresses of lighter colors. Gwen isn’t to phased with fashion or appearances so she doesn’t go to a heap of effort to dress up very often. She tries to remain comfortable due to her long hours of work. She tends to be on her feet a lot of the day which is why she also invests in flat soled comfortable shoes. (Smart girl I say)

.:Personality:. Gwen is a girl who has many opinions and beliefs. She tends to have a submissive and genuinely calm nature but her firm belief of right and wrong is a sure fire way of seeing the other more fighter side of Gwen. She has a reasonable amount of skill with a sword due to her childhood of being the daughter of a blacksmith.

Gwen is also fiercely loyal of those she cares about. She often goes beyond the call of duty for her friends which can get her into sticky situations. She also has a soft side, one which is seen when she is around the defenceless or the wounded. This is the side that others have seen most and she is known for her passive ways.

.:History:. Guinevère was born on a stormy night in her own home, the only child to her parents Tom and Madeline. The birth was hard and long, and without the proper care Madeline subsumed to infection only a few months after Gwen’s was born. This left Tom alone to raise a baby girl who was still meant to be dependant on its mother. Still her managed, and Gwen grew to be a healthy child.
Gwen became Morgana’s maid servant at a surprisingly young age. This was due to the fact that the girls were the same age and Gwen knew her father needed money. Instantly the pair bonded and Gwen begun work as a maid servant, which she still is today.

Gwen was the first person to befriend Merlin when he arrived in Camelot. She developed a crush on him after seeing him stand up to Arthur, which was something she admired in a person, the ability to defend others. Though she soon realized that Merlin did not return her feelings and they fizzled out as she became closer to him, seeing him as more of a friend than anything else.

Gwen was devastated when Uther had her father killed because of the suspicion that he was harbouring a sorcerer in their home. Even though she is very bitter about this, she has moved on, dealing with the fact she is an orphan.
Gwen never really interacted with Arthur until Merlin asked her to house him whilst he jousted in a tournament under disguise. At first she found him to be as pig headed and arrogant as she’d always seen him but as the days progressed, she saw a different side to him and the pair shared a kiss. Soon afterwards though, it became a realization that the pair could never be together due to her being a servant and him...well a prince. Arthur’s father would never agree to them ever being anything more than friends.

Now Gwen is trying to ignore her feelings for Arthur, try to stop worrying about Morgana and doing her job all at the same time.
