.:Name of Character:. Keagan .:Nick Name:. Kea .:Age:. 19 .:Status:. Nomad
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. Keagan is a very ordinary looking individual. He has lightly colored eyes and fairly light skin with a hint of a tan, which is often stained with dirt. His hair is reddish brown, and usually a bit messy as he finds no need to tend to it. He has a disheveled overall appearance, dressed in ragged layered clothing and often wears a hood when traveling. .:Height:. 6 feet, has a thin stature .:Portrayed by:. Eddie Redmayne
| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:. Keagan has a bit of a quirky personality. He is an optimist and idealist; always thinking the best of people and situations. This makes him rather friendly towards some, even though he has a high degree of paranoia, under his current circumstances. He enjoys being in the company of people, craving companionship during his long lonesome travels. Sometimes, just to fill the silent air he will talk to himself, developing stories or poems to share with others – at times for a few coins. He has a vast imagination, which also helps in his story telling – either to himself or others.
He is however, very clumsy, often tripping over something as simple as his two feet. He has a thirst for knowledge, enjoying hearing the experiences of others during his never ending journey. He can be more emotional than expected of a young, and is not afraid to cry in front of another. Embarrassed, sure, but not afraid. That is probably one of the few things that he is not afraid of though. His quick running speed certainly helps when running away from the ‘dangers’ of the world. .:Strengths:. Has an excellent memory, strong social skills, very generous .:Weaknesses:. Clumsy, is not skilled with weapons, paranoid. .:Magic Abilities:. Is a druid, but is not by any means skilled for he lacks the training and knowledge. .:Special Skills:. Remarkable story teller; knows how to keep his audience intrigued and engaged. Sometimes this is how he makes a few coins. He is very skilled with a slingshot, having excellent aim. Is a very fast runner which comes in handy most of the time. .:Accents:. English, lower class.
| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |
.:Birthplace:. Ademar, Mercia .:Family:. Has a huge family composed of: his mother, father, three brothers, four sisters, and of course extended relatives. .:Occupation:. Nothing permanent: traveler, story teller, work for hire . . . .:Current Location of Residence:. None. .:History:. Keagan was born and raised in the small village of Ademar, located in the Kingdom of Mercia. He had a fairly normal and happy childhood. He was not from a rich home or family, but he truly enjoyed his life. His parents were both druids, but strayed away from their group, wanting to settle somewhere putting behind their druid identity. His father was a farmer and his mother now weaved baskets to sell, both of them giving up all practices of magic. His had several siblings, and was the most timid one out of the lot. He hates arguments and violence, so whenever there was sibling rivalry, stayed clear. For this reason, he was on very good terms with all his brothers and sisters, loving them dearly, enjoying that sense of having a big family. He also was very attached to his home. The entire village was close knit and everyone had good relations with one another so Keagan could not imagine another life.
When he was sixteen years old, he became engaged to be married to a young girl named Moreana. While it was initially an arranged marriage, the two grew fond of each other and looked forward to the day they would be wed. Unfortunately, this day did not come. During a seemingly ordinary day, the village was visited by a noble man, and his guards. It was not unusual for Ademar to be visited by Mercian nobleman, but the events of that day changed Kegan’s life. As the nobleman made an uexpected inspection of the village, he got into a bit of an argument with one of the villagers, and oddly enough it was Moreana’s father. As previously recognized, Keagan hates any sort of discourse, so decided to calmly intervene.
Unfortunately, when he stood between them, the nobleman just became agitated. He tried to push himself through, but Keagan stood his ground. He was no hero; in fact, he was terrified doing so the entire time. He even went as far as to sort of give a light push to create more distance between them. The nobleman exaggerated how much the push was, staggering behind him and in the process, tripped on a root. He hit his head on a rock and died instantly. What had started as one small argument, ended in a gruesome death. The guards saw this and immediately shouted to arrest the ‘killer’: Keagan.
Keagan did all that he could, he ran. He knew that his word meant nothing against men of nobility and he would most likely be executed. Fearful of this horrific fate, he just ran, and ran, and ran. Days went by and he went into a deep hiding, officially labeled as a fugitive. He never returned home. He knew that would make his family charged with aiding and abetting, so did not want to put them in any danger. Keagan became a nomad. A very paranoid, lonely, wanderer. He hopes to return home but knows that he can not do so any time soon. He greatly missed his family, his fiancée, his life . . . but now, all he can do is travel the world, trying to find the best of every situation.
