Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.
The forest of Balor. Home of wildren, balorian spiders, and the occasional elusive creatures that were only believed to exist in myth unless witnessed with ones own eyes. It was not the safest of places out there, but danger meant nothing to someone who did not fear death. It was the reason that Vaughn was wandering the woods late at night, as he did not require sleep for more than a few hours. He enjoyed the night; it allowed all the bizarre creatures of the world to come out and reveal themselves.
The air was cool....crisp...and yet, it was something that Vaughn was finding refreshing. He wore his cape to provide extra heat, but he did not want to stop to make a fire. He wanted to ride on, deeper and deeper into the woods so that he could see what adventure it had to offer. The small sounds he came across, did not make him stop. He was not overly cautious nor was he defensive. His swords remained strapped to his back, as his reflexes were quick enough, and his arrogance strong enough, to believe that he could overcome any unexpected danger. He was not concerned. He was not tired. He was bored; extremely bored. And the Forest of Balor was proving to be a grand disappointment.

Victoire moved about the Balor Forest with as much ease as any creature that inhabited the woods did. She and Maldor traveled through these forest so many times, she knew it like the back of her hand. To anyone who saw her she would look like some fair maiden who was lost in the woods. Her hair was pinned up and her robes drifted behind her. But what many wouldn't notice was the two daggers hidden on her person, the quiver on her back, and the bow in her hand.
She was on her way to Camelot to meet with her father. He instructed her to head there if they ever got separated. She and Maldor were heading to a Thieves Coven near Cenred, but were attacked by a gang of Guards attempting to arrest the Coven. Maldor had told her to run once more Guards arrived. Fortunately, Victoire slipped away in time, but it was unknown if he did.
As she moved about she heard a horse not too far away. Victoire moved quickly to whomever it was. She slipped her bow over her back and spotted the man on the horse. She waved to catch his attention then started running to him. Perhaps the damsel in distress act would help her get to Camelot quicker.
(Hope you don't mind, and we can go wherever you want with his.)

Boredom was going to be the death of Vaughn. It would be an ironic way to die indeed, but with the pace tonight was going, it was entirely a possibility. As as if fate happened to hear him and heed to his desire for something more exciting to happen, he saw a woman try to get his attention. Now, Vaughn was not the kind of knight who went out of his way to aid someone, even if it was a woman. He had to get something out of it, even if it was just a sense of adventure. This mind set and the fact that he had absolutely nothing else to do, was what made him approaching the woman who had tried, and successfully, motioned for his attention.
He brought his horse to a complete stop when he was near her, but did not dismount. He looked at her, up and down, noticing her garment and the fact that it did not look like that of a poor peasant. "Is it not late for a woman such as yourself to be wandering such a dangerous place?" He did not really care. He did not know her, and even if he did, it would not have made a difference for his level of concern would not have raised even in the slightest bit.
[[We can just start it off and see where it goes. I do not have any specific ideas either, but it should be fun to see what unfolds as the thread continues, but do let me know if you have any specific ideas]]
