.:Personality:.
{A Constant Lady} When Luciana walks down the street, she makes it blatantly obvious that she’s nobility for she carries herself with a regal air. She is extremely confident in her abilities but not overly. With political matters, she tries not to take anything too personal. Luciana tends to take the middle road to make everyone happy. Luciana is loyal to her friends and the kingdom of Camelot. She does not put a lot of stock in protocol and formality, and she just pretends she does for her parents' sake.
{The Other Side} At times Luciana will break from her noble act and be rebellious. She will act tomboyish and go riding on her black stallion still dressed in her finery. Luciana does not like to be told what to do because it makes her feels like a child. When she is bossed around, she does exactly what she was told not to do. Luciana doesn’t care what the consequences are of those actions for she believes that she can fix them later. She likes to show people that she can take care of herself. Luciana desires independence and hates being second to men.
{And Charmingly So} Luciana has an undeniable charm about her. She possesses a very natural charisma that can often sway the mind of others to her own personal advantage, whatever that may be. She is clever with this particular character trait and with such a tool, can easily charm the minds of others to see things her way. With her alluring elegance and poised nature, combined with a few eloquent words, she is able to gracefully and successfully charm others in her company.
{Just Put It Back Where You Found It} Luciana’s greatest pet peeve is clutter. We’re talking from one speck of dust on the floor to a room that looks like a tornado blew through it. Luciana just loathes disorder, thus she’s a neat freak. Whether it’s picking up after herself or cleaning up after others, if Luciana sees a mess she cleans it, and if she finds the one who made the mess she makes them clean it while she supervises them. Sometime the neat freak bit can get annoying, but cleanliness is next to Godliness.
{Now Mind Your Manners} Luciana is known for her courteousness towards others. She is never rude; at least she tries not to be. She believes that being rude is being weak. At times, Luciana will those she dislikes with cold civility. Luciana has a surprisingly long temper. She can hear a great deal of insults without becoming furiously irate. When Luciana does become angry, people know it. She doesn’t break her politeness, but she does go back to her room and throw a fit until she feels better.
{Piece of My Mind} Being educated, Luciana thinks herself an intelligent woman. She is scholarly, being adept in history and the languages art. Complex arithmetic is one of her weaker points, but she has the basics down. Luciana never really cared for combat or militaristic strategy that much, and seeing her twin’s talent for them, she let it have a backseat on her priorities. Also Luciana is very opinionated and likes to voice her opinions. She is careful about how she words her opinions; often editing what was originally in her mind.
{Smoke and Mirrors} Like the majority of the people of Armorica, Luciana does not believe in magic or the Old Religion. She believes that everything caused by magic has a natural, logical, and reasonable explanation behind it. She is very adamant in this belief. Even though she has had a few encounters with magic in Camelot, Luciana simply refuses to believe in it.

Amorica possesses a fleet of warships that protect its coastal border. Although the kingdom’s navy is always on guard, the rulers of Armorica prefer to make allies instead of enemies. If there is a way to resolve a conflict peacefully instead of shedding blood, the Armorican rulers will find it. Armorica counts the Kingdom of Camelot among its allies. Magic of any kind has not existed in Armorica for a several decades. It has been forgotten for the most part by the people of Armorica, and most of the populace does not believe in the existence of magic.

.:Occupation:. Princess of Armorica

.:History:.
On a clear, beautiful spring morning, Tristan and Luciana were born into the royal house of Valois, sovereigns of the Kingdom of Armorica. It was a greatly celebrated event for not only did the kingdom have a crown prince but also a princess that would link the kingdom with another great house when she married. As babies, Luciana and Tristan were doted on by their nannies, the servants, and most of all their parents. King Alaric was proud to have a son who he could raise to take over his kingdom, and Queen Valeria was more than happy to have a daughter she could rear to follow in her footsteps. Oh yes, the youngest years of the Valois twins were most definitely the ones where they were the most spoiled.
When Tristan and Luciana were children, their parents hired a tutor for them, being the norm in most noble families. The tutor, Cassius, educated them in the fundamentals of reading, writing, arithmetic, and history. Both Tristan and Luciana did very well in their studies, giving their parents even more to boast about. It was when the twins reached their preteen years that the king and queen noticed the individuality of their children. Tristan, who was growing into a strapping lad, had begun his military training, adding combat and tactics to his list of studies. Needless to say he enjoyed these subjects more than language arts and history, putting them on the back burning while he focused on his fighting skills. Unlike her twin, the blossoming Luciana excelled in reading, writing, and history. However she struggled with the more advanced mathematics, so she dropped it all together. Luciana felt knowing just basic arithmetic would be perfectly fine.
As years passed and her brother trained with her father, Luciana underwent a different kind of training from her mother. It was to be Luciana’s fate to wed a prince of king of another kingdom to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two kingdoms. Everyone accepted that fact, even Luciana. So Queen Valeria took in upon herself prepare her daughter for marriage. She was trained in the social graces of etiquette, dancing, and even a bit of singing. Luciana also learned how to weave and embroider. She became quite skilled with a needle and a loom that soon she began creating tapestries and making her brother’s shirts.
Luciana made her societal debut at the court of Camelot during summer of her seventeenth year. Her brother had already been to Camelot a few times with their father, so he escorted Luciana, playing the dutiful elder brother (by 2 minutes) while showing her off in court. However she had no need of his assistance. Luciana could flaunt her charm and grace all on her own and with more tact than her beloved brother could. Needless to say, she made her parents proud.
During her stay in Camelot, Luciana met the famous Prince Arthur. She had heard stories about him from her brother, and it was a well-known fact in the Valois family that the Crown Prince of Armorica had a habit of spinning tall take. So, she was surprised to learn that most of them were true. Their first conversation was not the awkward-small-talk-about-the-weather chitchat. It took place in the early morning before Arthur and his knights left for a hunt. They had invited Tristan to join them, so naturally Luciana decided that she would come along for the ride. As she mounted her steed in her richly embroidered gown, Prince Arthur stated that he did not know that she hunted. Luciana wittily replied, “Oh, I leave the killing of furry woodland creature to you boys, but I am always up for a little steeple chase.” After that morning, Arthur and Luciana grew to be very close friends. It soon came to pass that the Valois twins would visit Camelot every summer.
As Tristan and Luciana entered their twentieth year, a conflict between Armorica and their neighbor, Lusitania, arose. The Lusitanian king was a belligerent man, greedy for wealth and power, so he began to invade the borderlands of Armorica. King Alaric tried to reason with the king of Lusitania, but the latter refused to listen. So much King Alaric’s dismay, war was declared with the neighboring kingdom. As Armorica moved out its army, with Prince Tristan as its commander, Luciana was sent to Camelot and was to stay there until the war was over.
