.:Name of Character:. Lancelot .:Nick Name:. Lance .:Age:. Tweny-four .:Race:. Camelotian .:Status:. Knight of Camelot
| ~ ⢠~ | Appearance | ~ ⢠~ |
.:Physical Appearance:.
He THINKS he looks good and Gwen thinks so as well . . . But he doesn't look as good as Arthur, that's why he gets totally PWNED.
Lancelot is decently tall, standing above many. He has a muscular build, something that comes from all of his fighting, training, and other workings from his past. His hair is short, curly, and a warm chocolate brown in color. He has fair skin and brown eyes. Despite his build and age, he still has a certain boyish quality about his appearance without being too over-exaggerated. Depending on the time frame, his clothing changes. He'll wear whatever he has or finds suitable that is still appropriate to wear before, but when he becomes a Knight, he likes to wear the uniform, proud to have been named one.
.:Height:. 6' .:Portrayed by:. Santiago Cabrera

.:Personality:.
Lancelot is a very moral person. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and destests the idea of lying, unless it is the only way to do something that is right. He does, however, hate lying to Arthur or Gwen. He's also very humble, about himself and what he can do, and what he hasn't done, suchas when Merlin killed the Griffin -- He didn't take the credit for it, because it was not his doing, even if he had been the one to stab the creatures.
He is respectful to those of a higher power, despite whether or not the treat him fairly. He's willing to do almost anything in battle to win and protect those he cares for, or is supposed to protect. He's willing to risk his own life to save them. He's also very selfless. Not only this, but Lancelot has a deep love for Guinevère, and would do litterally anything for her. Which includes, if she is happy with Arthur, not coming between them, despite how much he loves her. He wants to see her happy. .:Strengths:.
+ Swordsmanship: Lancelot is a rather formidable oppenent with a sword + Lancing: He is highly skilled with a Lance, the same weapon he used to fight the Griffin + Fighting: He is a skilled fighter, and was even able to hold his own against his duel with Arthur for a while. However, he only defeated him by use of trickery. + Loyalty & Virtues: Lancelot is deeply loyal to those he cares about, or those who he works for that deserve the loyalty at least a little. He also has high virtues that he follows to a point. .:Weaknesses:.
- Guinevère: Lancelot would do anything to protect her and keep her happy, even if it meant his own life or unhappiness, such as not coming between her and Arthur. - Martyr: Lancelot would choose death or suffering even, over giving up on any of his beliefs. - Honor-Bound: Lancelot, while he wouldn't defend his honor if it meant breaking a promise or hurting a friend, would defend his honor. Honor is important to him, as long as it falls under his virtues. However, this can sometimes lead to consequences. .:Magic Abilities:. NONE .:Special Skills:. Highly skilled in swordsmanship, and the use of a lance. .:Accents:. British
| ~ ⢠~ | History | ~ ⢠~ |
.:Birthplace:. Camelot .:Family:. His family is deceased .:Occupation:. Knight of Camelot .:Current Location of Residence:. Camelot .:History:.
Lancelot came to Camelot in hopes of becoming a Knight. He had found Merlin under the attack of the Griffin in and saved him. Because of this, Merlin had brought him back to Camelot. However, Lancelot soon learned that only nobility could become Knights. So, Merlin used magic to create a fake Seal of Nobility.
Guinevère provided the clothes and armor so Lancelot would look like a proper nobleman. When he met her, he fell in love with her at first sight, and began calling her "My Lady." He managed to beat Arthur in combat through trickery at the end, and became a Knight like he has wanted.
However, later, Uther asked Geoffrey of Monmouth to check the seal and learned that it was forged. Lancelot was thrown in prison. Arthur let him out, though, and told him never to return to Camelot again. But Lancelot wanted to fight the Griffin, it was his duty, he believed. So he went to Gwen for armor, and left to fight it.
Lancelot was only able to kill the Griffin when Merlin enchanted the lance. It was pierced, and died. Arthur appealed to Uther to make him a Knight once more, but Lancelot would not, he hadn't been the one to kill it. He told Merling he would keep his secret a secret, and left, telling Uther and Arthur that he was leaving to redeem himself.
He left and began to earn a living by fighting for others' entertainment, believing that his life was meaningless now. He just happened to be working in a fighting ring run by bandits when Gwen was captured for ransom, believed to be Morgana. Lancelot knew that her life would be in danger if they learned the truth, and worked to free her as his new meaning of life.
He did, and shared a kiss with her before they were captured again, and set to be executed. However, it was then that Arthur and Merlin came to rescue Gwen, which ultimately saved their lives. On the way back to Camelot, Lancelot realized that Arthur and Gwen had feelings for each other, and had Merlin confirm it. Because of this, Lancelot left again, telling Merlin to tell Gwen they weren't meant to be, but that she had changed his life. He would not come between them, even though he loved her deeply.
When Morgana gained control of Camelot, though, Merlin had sent word to him for help. So, along with Percival, Lancelot went to save the others from Morgana's knights and went with them to the ancient castle. There, he along with the others, were knighted by Arthur. With Merlin, he snuck into Camelot castle to break the enchantment of the undying warriors under Morgana's control. He helped Merlin, and even though he was wounded, didn't die.
