Located at the bottom of the board is a chat box. It is open for everyone to use: staff, members and guests. It is a great way to meet members and for guests to ask any questions that they have about the site. Below are a few topics related to the chat box. Please read the rules so that you understand the expectations and courtesy when using the chat box.

As you can all see, some people choose to include an icon of their character with each post they make. It appears in the far left corner of your post. Adding an icon is a very simple process.

All you have to do is enter the URL of the image in the spot that says EMAIL / URL on the right hand bottom of the chatbox. You do not need to include any IMG tags or anything; just the URL link on its own. [/blockquote]

Posting in Color

As you can all see, some people choose to post messages in color in the chat box. This is a very simple process. All you need to do is enter the hex color code, in the exact same way that you would in a post. When you type your message, it would look something like this:

[color=#000000]INSERT MESSAGE HERE[/color]

If your color code is such a word instead of a hex code then you just enter the word. For example, if your posting color is Red, then you enter it as follows:

[color=red]INSERT MESSAGE HERE[/color]

Keep in mind that there a limit on length for the chat box messages, so in order to get the code to work, you must make sure you have both the beginning and end part. [/blockquote]
