.:Name of Character:. Flavia Thorn .:Nick Name:. None .:Age:.18 .:Race:. Ostian .:Status:. Servant
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. Flavia is a thin girl of medium height, with pale skin, light blonde hair and green eyes.
As a typical poor peasant faded, cheap clothes, mainly grey in color make up her wardrobe; however, her favorite outfit is a beautiful, expensive dark blue dress which she inherited from her stepmother Cartilia Poplicola. Flavia was supposed to inherit her claim to her father's property and its surrounding lands when her father died, however due the fact that her cunning older brother, Domitian, was the male, first born heir to the family she lost everything leaving her nothing more than a poor peasant. She wears a gold necklace with a ruby which her birth mother gave to her before her death ten years ago which apparently, according to her father, has weak magical properties.
To compliment her no-money collection of clothes, Flavia has a poorly cut hair style. Done only to vanquish split ends on the quick and cheap side by anyone willing to do it, it covers her forehead and cascades down her back. She has striking emerald green eyes framed by long, dark lashes. She has small feet, which have her tripping over constantly. She blames her clumsiness on her awkward start in life and its consequences.
Whilst these traits may be deceiving, Flavia has some strength in the form of her ability to adapt and empathize with any situation. Years of helping the local women with the varied duties in Ostia has assisted her in developing the capability to perform any menial task required of a servant.

.:Birthplace:. Ostia .:Family:. Father: Marcus Thorn, sea captain. Step mother: Cartlia Poplicola. Brother: Domitian Thorn .:Occupation:. Servant .:Current Location of Residence:.Camelot Town .:History:. Flavia was born a poor girl into Thorn family in the small toward of Ostia; accessed through a wall on the outskirts of Camelot.
She had a privileged childhood, despite her family's lack of money; filled with beautiful, but low cost, dresses, horses and all the things that she could desire. Her ability to use spell books to perform magic was seem by her family and their kingdom as a rare gift that made her special and for which she was able to use her gifts openly throughout her childhood.
As the privileged girl grew up, so did her confidence. When once she'd happily play alone, with animals, or read books. Flavia desired real friends to talk to. One day when she was 11, she went up to a small dark haired girl, and they soon became firm friends. Yet her brother, Domitian was ruthless in his taunting, as all brothers are. He laughed at her preference to wear pale colored clothes in spite of her lavish dresses, and the way she tripped over things constantly. Domitian and his accomplices picked on her whenever they could, she'd simply run to her room crying. But as she grew older, she punished them. Making them fall over or arranging for more skilful swordsmen to vanish them in fights.
It was about that time that Miriam met Lupus. Lupus’ father worked in the village docks constantly traveling to far off lands, leaving Lupus to fend for himself as his mother had died a few years before and because of this he'd become quite reserved. He didn't like many people but Miriam, Flavia and Lupus got on well. They soon became inseparable and shared their secrets. Flavia told her friends of Domitian's taunting when she was 12 .
They hatched a revenge plan which went successfully and Domitian never taunted Flavia again, until the fateful day of Marcus’ death. When Lupus’ father died at sea soon after this revenge trick, he moved in Miriam and her mother until he was ready to live home alone, though often returning when he was bored, lonely or hungry.
All this changed with the death of her parents and Domitian's claim to the deeds to their home. Refusing to marry her betrothed, as she is a firm believer in love, Domitian saw her as worthless, convincing the town elder, Una to strip Flavia of her right to live in the town and banishing her, never to return.
Due to her father's old fashioned beliefs, and unwillingness to convert to the Christian religion, Flavia worships the Roman gods and goddesses.
Wandering through the towns, cities and countryside she came across Camelot; and decided to make her home there.
