In these lands of kingdoms near and far. It allows for allies and enemies. One would be wise to keep their allies close. Some say keep your enemies closer. Though in this case Celidoine could use a strong alliance with Camelot. The kingdom of King Arthur. There hadn't been much between the said kingdoms since their father's had been king. Lorcan's father always stayed close to this alliance. In Lorcan's mind almost to close, but that was down to the more personal experience. Lorcan wasn't sure if he could say when Uther was tough, his father was tougher. Who was Lorcan to speak of what really happened behind the walls of Camelot? Thought for the most part it seemed to have something that Celidoine lacked. This pride and there was truth in its loyalty. Lorcan's deepest wish was the best of Celidoine. He would protect it how ever he knew how he could. When the newly crowned Pendragon came to the throne, Lorcan made it his first thing to meet the this king. Whom he had some crossings within the past, but for the most past were distant acquaintances. From what reached these borders, Arthur sounded a very impressive man and now King. A king that sort peace. Something Lorcan would help aid Arthur with.
So these past days sore a lot of movement in and around the kingdom. Especially the castle. Getting ready for the grand arrival for the kings to finally meet. There was a good section of the castle prepared for Arthur's stay in Celidoine for how ever long he wished to remain here. Celidoine was home for Arthur these days, a home away from home. Well, Lorcan hoped and wished it be like that, but Celidoine wasn't really Camelot, but it held its beautiful in other ways. It had a grand castle, but for the most part the Kingdom was well positioned in greenery and life. It wasn't as busy and going as the city of Camelot. Celidoine was more quaint despite it was still a decent size. It had that fairy tale touch. Done on purpose in Lorcan's mind to disguise the not so pretty things within its walls. That echoed of screams still to this day.
Lorcan down made his way down the steps to the entrance of the courtyard to best welcome the new arrivals. To welcome Camelot within the kingdom. The kingdoms will be become one for a short moment in time. So Lorcan wasn't so in line or role of the typical king. He wore dark colours. Black pants, shirt, jacket and finely made cape. It had crystals to help decorate it so it didn't come off to dark, but more regal so not to make him look to depressed. He just wasn't a man of a lot of colour. Plus he made black look good. His dark locks were well pull back with a decent crown upon his head. He just wasn't one for crowns all that much. It usually didn't take long for people to know who the king was. He made soon stopped in place in the waiting of Arthur who would be only moments away. Oh yes, he can almost hear the trumpets playing. The dining hall was set ready for the feast. His blue eyes at the ready at marking this new king and what Camelot would bring to Celidoine. He smirked as he caught Linnadhiel meeting beside him. Noting she was very beautiful today, a young girl on the brink of becoming a woman. He took her hand gently in his own and kissed her hand. In which she smiled with a blush. Linnadhiel perhaps a little keen herself to be meeting the new king, it wasn't everyday Celidoine got such guests or company. It can get a little lonely, but Linnadhiel was very much the princess of princesses, with a down to earth kind of heart. A sense of humour that Lorcan was only so wondering how she came of it, but that it caused her to be endearing.
"Good Evening, sister. Is Rose not ready? Are you ready to meet this new King? See if he rivals my charming nature."
Lorcan spoke to Linnadhiel with as much charm as he can. With a simply grin then motioned his eyes to find Rosabel as he asked Linn. He could ready her curiosity in meeting Arthur, perhaps more than he was Lorcan half smiled. Half expecting if Arthur is as great as the stories that had made their way to Celidoine, Linnadhiel may switch kingdoms. Lorcan joked about a possible rival.
'Majesty. Rose wasn't feeling well, she'll be down for the feast in a little bit. I am. You charming Lorcan? Your hardly a prince charming anymore, but I guess one can't really lose the charm. We'll soon find out. I'm interested to hear some of Arthur's adventures. I wonder if he's skilled in music at all!'
Linnadhiel addressed her brother. Extended the reasonings of Rosabel not being here. In which Lorcan nodded to. A little concerned, but he was sure it wasn't anything serious. Though pleased she would be down for the feast. Lorcan was amused by Linn poking fun at his charms. It really was that question did Lorcan even have them or were they just false. Who knows? Lorcan wasn't half surprised Linnadhiel be on Arthur for some kind of story. She liked travelling, but she was only really able to move around Celidoine at her young age plus who she was. Also she wasn't one that would be on these kinds of adventures that Arthur went on. Although finding it oddly cute she said adventures, he guested some of them were. Lorcan soon drifted his gaze in a soft escaped laugh as Linnadhiel really was now talking to herself. Perhaps already playing out how its all going to go in her head. Dreaming just a tad. Wondering himself just how this was going to go. The coming of the two kingdoms. The two kings. Ah, yes. Lorcan was ready to welcome Camelot and its, King Arthur to his beloved home, Celidoine. Across the mountains and within the trees. In a land that felt just a little far far from Camelot. A home away from home. Lorcan smiled.
