Now wasn't she a pretty thing! Woman! Lorcan reframed the thought. At the sight before him with golden long locks, plump pink lips, big piercing eyes that could play target with most men if she dared. Although so deep in the woods alone, maybe not? Though with the luscious pale skin, she was almost down right innocent. Such a pretty woman in the midst of the woods. She could almost be the target. Bait? She wasn't yet as Lorcan saw her startled reaction to the mere monster that was himself. It was rather amusing her reaction that for a moment he smirked. Might as well let the judgement roll around in her head just a little longer. Although if Lorcan was the thing of nightmares, he wasn't so sure this would be how he'd start his game plan. Then the real nightmares were the most unexpected. Watched as the young woman stepped back on guard. Least in ways she was smart. He wasn't sure if it would be insulting with no reaction. Least he knew she valued her safety. She would be rather foolish if she didn't.
His small playful smirk soon went. As she stepped back again at his words. Wow, perhaps he needed a mirror. Although there was half a chance he freak regardless. He laughed in his head. The last thing he needed, they needed was her to completely freak out, start screaming and running through the woods. Besides his intentions hadn't been to scare her, it was just a matter of the outcome thus far. As he heard the faint screams of the beast being slain by his men. Another one down. As his eyes drifted off, before regaining upon the fair head woman. For a moment he couldn't help than to smile. There was something about her that reminded him of his younger sister. It was the youth and yet that strength bedded in her eyes. Lorcan might have gone down the road to wonder who this woman was or why she was here. Really it didn't matter, only for now was her safety and the safety of his people. If she was out here she could survive with lending a hand. He'd make sure she wouldn't lose it.
As Lorcan watched the girl take his name. His title. Rolled it around in her head. It was rather like magic all in itself to watch the faint change in her eyes. She was so much trusting, but it eased the scary image she possibly created. Noting her silence. He just regarded it as just the notion she was coming around. After falling it was possible she hit her head. Oh no. Lorcan wondered. Perhaps he was in double vision to her? Two Lorcan's? Now there's an idea. As he motioned a little towards her when he felt she could bare it without the thought he was stealing her. Really if he was stealing her, she wouldn't know it. Besides he really was no monster and with the faint glow in her cheeks only made the cry he needed to protect her. Before retreating with a smile as finally she spoke. It was crisp and wrapped up in beauty. Relieved she was unharmed, not that he hadn't had dealings with healing the maidens. Let out a friendly soft laugh the faintly echoed as she mentioned his appearance. Well least she was honest, whilst it was all written on her face. In her reactions. "There is nothing to forgive, we had a run in with a beast and well, I'm sure right now I'm looking like the beast... Wait, let me see if I can mend this without the looking glass."
Lorcan responded to her words amusingly and light hearted. He was not that easily offended, she wasn't trying to hurt his feelings just simply stating a fact. Which he was quite sure he would agree with being in her eyes. Half thinking would be a wondrous place to be, but for now Lorcan was in his shoes. He needed to make his kingdom safe. He wasn't the typical king or really a typical man, but one thing he did take to heart was the protection of his kingdom. His face also lightened and was rather pleased with her honesty. Trying to least make her more comfortable, it make things easier. Letting up his hand as spoke 'wait'. Not really finding much of his clothes even dry enough. Using his hands and what he could of his clothes. Attempted to be rid of some of the blood, but half thinking a bath was the only real option. That would have to wait. As well yeah his attempt didn't work overly well, but least got rid of some blood from his face. Finding the rest he merely added more blood in other areas. Finally surrendered. With no mirror, he'd have to rely on the reflection of her eyes.
He barely noted the no bowing or any forms she should be doing or expected to be doing. There were a little more important things to be focusing on than whether someone bowed. She gave her name and thus far hadn't insulted him, so really there was no need to bow. He only desire to make his enemies bow, not so much to him, but to Celidoine. Besides how could a title really define anyone? He was sure he could make her believe he was king without the crown. Much in ways he was doing now. Without the coin of his head on it, she had nothing to go on. Only faith in the end. Feeling as such her own eyes upon his own. Yeah, he does have the Lorcan stare which he is rather known and sometimes he's aware. Though most of time he just doesn't know it.
"Catalina even under the circumstances the pleasure is all mine. I don't need to know the reasonings your here or the intentions. You need protection and with me you will be safe you have my word. Please will you trust in me?"
He wrapped her name so warmly around his tongue expressing he was pleased and quite honoured to be given her name. He hadn't asked it and yet she chose to give it. If Lorcan knew anything about women was allow them the choice. He did not care for what reasons why she was in the midst of the danger or whether she had even bad intentions. She was a life caught and in need of protection. For in moments like these Lorcan was in such ways of questioning for living was the only thing on the line. Not that he was judging her, Lorcan just isn't one to go digging into every soul like some kings do. People generally show their cards in the right time. Although she for now was in need of protection and really reminded to much of his sister. As he motioned for the young lady's hand to plant a gentle kiss upon it with a smile and the glint in his eyes. With Lorcan, expect the unexpected. He moved gently incase it was not her desire for her hand to be held, but he treated fairly until given a reason not to. Retreated his lips with his hand still in place as asked her to trust him. There was the catching in his throat being near her skin and his heart raced glad his lips weren't stained with blood. For that wasn't the mark he wished to leave.
Lorcan motioned back his eyes darted as Catalina gasped as he too heard the faint sounds in the woods. His attention taken as it coursed her to move towards him. Rather admiring the human reaction to move to what was once danger in their eyes as it could be their only hope. If that was what Lorcan was in this moment, then that he was. He moved to pull his sword out without scaring her once again, so best prepared for what was lurking in the woods. Of course he knew the power that laid within his fingertips. He wasn't one to nerved to show to much or be found out. He came to use magic much lie breathing. He still had to speak it and what not, but he knew how to use it. Without knowing he even did it. For now it was matter of physical violence at the ready. Let everything follow as it did. He too motioned closer to her. To best protect her. With his eyes then returning to her, startled himself. As for the mere moment she standing beside him. He had spent moments this day with her voice in his head and now Kathryn stood beside him. It generally happened day to day, but he noticed her ghost wasn't around as much now. If she even was a ghost. Lorcan still didn't know nor in any ways of figuring it out. It could lead to a path that was well best left unfound. After a blink her brown locks vanished and gold in its place. Catalina. Lorcan smiled was in different worlds to Kathryn, but with a beauty all her own. Proving thus far he hadn't given up.
"Cockatrices... The recent attack on Camelot caused many to flee. We've taken most of them out. Although which means the few left are more unpredictable... So running wouldn't be wise right now, just remain close. "
He spoke flat to her what was out there. Luckily his men was also out there and the numbers had dropped in the beasts. Although it wasn't exactly easier. As for now Lorcan was left with a circling feeling and he couldn't see it clearly. So unpredictable was maybe an understatement. As he moved his eyes. Feeling the rustling getting closer. He was sure time wasn't high right now nor was the option of running. The best way out of this was facing it. As Lorcan motioned closer to Catalina. Left the crunch of leaves and the faint raw of the beast. There was no second guessing now. Just a matter of protecting Celidoine and everyone in it. Especially Catalina.

In these lands of kingdoms near and far. It allows for allies and enemies. One would be wise to keep their allies close. Some say keep your enemies closer. Though in this case Celidoine could use a strong alliance with Camelot. The kingdom of King Arthur. There hadn't been much between the said kingdoms since their father's had been king. Lorcan's father always stayed close to this alliance. In Lorcan's mind almost to close, but that was down to the more personal experience. Lorcan wasn't sure if he could say when Uther was tough, his father was tougher. Who was Lorcan to speak of what really happened behind the walls of Camelot? Thought for the most part it seemed to have something that Celidoine lacked. This pride and there was truth in its loyalty. Lorcan's deepest wish was the best of Celidoine. He would protect it how ever he knew how he could. When the newly crowned Pendragon came to the throne, Lorcan made it his first thing to meet the this king. Whom he had some crossings within the past, but for the most past were distant acquaintances. From what reached these borders, Arthur sounded a very impressive man and now King. A king that sort peace. Something Lorcan would help aid Arthur with.
So these past days sore a lot of movement in and around the kingdom. Especially the castle. Getting ready for the grand arrival for the kings to finally meet. There was a good section of the castle prepared for Arthur's stay in Celidoine for how ever long he wished to remain here. Celidoine was home for Arthur these days, a home away from home. Well, Lorcan hoped and wished it be like that, but Celidoine wasn't really Camelot, but it held its beautiful in other ways. It had a grand castle, but for the most part the Kingdom was well positioned in greenery and life. It wasn't as busy and going as the city of Camelot. Celidoine was more quaint despite it was still a decent size. It had that fairy tale touch. Done on purpose in Lorcan's mind to disguise the not so pretty things within its walls. That echoed of screams still to this day.
Lorcan down made his way down the steps to the entrance of the courtyard to best welcome the new arrivals. To welcome Camelot within the kingdom. The kingdoms will be become one for a short moment in time. So Lorcan wasn't so in line or role of the typical king. He wore dark colours. Black pants, shirt, jacket and finely made cape. It had crystals to help decorate it so it didn't come off to dark, but more regal so not to make him look to depressed. He just wasn't a man of a lot of colour. Plus he made black look good. His dark locks were well pull back with a decent crown upon his head. He just wasn't one for crowns all that much. It usually didn't take long for people to know who the king was. He made soon stopped in place in the waiting of Arthur who would be only moments away. Oh yes, he can almost hear the trumpets playing. The dining hall was set ready for the feast. His blue eyes at the ready at marking this new king and what Camelot would bring to Celidoine. He smirked as he caught Linnadhiel meeting beside him. Noting she was very beautiful today, a young girl on the brink of becoming a woman. He took her hand gently in his own and kissed her hand. In which she smiled with a blush. Linnadhiel perhaps a little keen herself to be meeting the new king, it wasn't everyday Celidoine got such guests or company. It can get a little lonely, but Linnadhiel was very much the princess of princesses, with a down to earth kind of heart. A sense of humour that Lorcan was only so wondering how she came of it, but that it caused her to be endearing.
"Good Evening, sister. Is Rose not ready? Are you ready to meet this new King? See if he rivals my charming nature."
Lorcan spoke to Linnadhiel with as much charm as he can. With a simply grin then motioned his eyes to find Rosabel as he asked Linn. He could ready her curiosity in meeting Arthur, perhaps more than he was Lorcan half smiled. Half expecting if Arthur is as great as the stories that had made their way to Celidoine, Linnadhiel may switch kingdoms. Lorcan joked about a possible rival.
'Majesty. Rose wasn't feeling well, she'll be down for the feast in a little bit. I am. You charming Lorcan? Your hardly a prince charming anymore, but I guess one can't really lose the charm. We'll soon find out. I'm interested to hear some of Arthur's adventures. I wonder if he's skilled in music at all!'
Linnadhiel addressed her brother. Extended the reasonings of Rosabel not being here. In which Lorcan nodded to. A little concerned, but he was sure it wasn't anything serious. Though pleased she would be down for the feast. Lorcan was amused by Linn poking fun at his charms. It really was that question did Lorcan even have them or were they just false. Who knows? Lorcan wasn't half surprised Linnadhiel be on Arthur for some kind of story. She liked travelling, but she was only really able to move around Celidoine at her young age plus who she was. Also she wasn't one that would be on these kinds of adventures that Arthur went on. Although finding it oddly cute she said adventures, he guested some of them were. Lorcan soon drifted his gaze in a soft escaped laugh as Linnadhiel really was now talking to herself. Perhaps already playing out how its all going to go in her head. Dreaming just a tad. Wondering himself just how this was going to go. The coming of the two kingdoms. The two kings. Ah, yes. Lorcan was ready to welcome Camelot and its, King Arthur to his beloved home, Celidoine. Across the mountains and within the trees. In a land that felt just a little far far from Camelot. A home away from home. Lorcan smiled.

It had been some time since the attack of the dragon on Camelot in around the areas. It had spooked much of the surrounding areas. A dragon, great. After having them cleared of all Dragons. There was one back in the world. It soon fell quiet afterwards. It was a creature of magic which did intrigue Lorcan, but it had vast dangerousness around it that, it wasn't something Lorcan was planning to go seek out. As mentioned it spooked the areas. Causing some creatures to scatter off. Celidoine was much a peaceful place. Lorcan now the new King only after a few short weeks. It held threats here and there, but for the most part was kept safe. It was the land far away feeling. Although as perfect it looked it wasn't as fairy tale within, but Lorcan wasn't one to begin with the nightmares at its heart. Perhaps Lorcan defined such a thing. There was an unspoken uplifting on Magic depending where one was in Celidoine, but for the most part Magic was banned. Lorcan lessened the ban on Magic, but it still was there to keep the ally with Camelot. It was a very strong ally to have. Camelot had a great power within the lands, which Lorcan wished to keep. There would be one day he was sure then Magic would be back in the lands. Although it wouldn't be a rise move to show he himself knew the ways of magic. Lorcan sort his gifts as something to benefit from, it was a bad move to show these cards for it might wreck his mighty plans. All in time.
Some creatures had been spooked from neighbouring forests of Camelot and came into the borders of Celidoine. Which had led Lorcan to lead his men into the wooded area of Celidoine. Celidoine was decent vast kingdom, just a lot of greenery. A lot of life which allowed druids to hide easy enough and magic to be practised without detection. There had been some Cockatrice's been spotted causing attacks and disrupting the kingdom. He needed to sort this out himself with his knights. Use Magic if needed, but all was well planned. Just no idea whether Lorcan plans ahead or as he goes along. Maybe a bit of both. After some hours during the day. The evening was approaching and Lorcan had found most of the creatures. Slain. Some had ran off in which now Lorcan and his knights were chasing. Finding himself slain one of the big beast half tearing it apart with his sword and his hands. As Lorcan had been pushed with the beast on top. Now pushed the heavy beast off. Felt the blood in varies part of his body. He groaned deeply as then motioned to his feet. Rubbed his hands faintly upon him to clean them off. With a slight disgusted look as he really was just covered. Lorcan was well the type to look more calm in these moments that required more than calm. Eyes moving around as to seek which direction the other beast had fled towards. Before a knight pointed it out having seen the faint shadow. Lorcan also could hear the faint sounds just through the trees and sprinted after it. He had been thrown himself off his horse, now flung himself back on his animal. Gave an encouraging kick and took lead after this beast.
Lorcan rode a bit before finding they had been stopped. Saw the shadow of the beast, fly off through the trees.Disrupted a man and a young woman. Before Lorcan was in much view the old man had taken off after the young woman's horse. His men stopped short with him. Finding the woman had fallen firmly on the ground and knew it be unkind to just ignore her, plus the beast and possibly more were circling this stop. It was not a place she would like so much to dangle herself in the midst of. Although Lorcan smirked it could work out in his favour, but that is hardly something to ask nor be expected she'd agree. Perhaps Lorcan could lend aid to seeing it through. His eyes ran over her in a short thought. Before he nodded to his knights to go after the beast as Lorcan got of his horse. Half expecting him walking up to her in such a manor probably spook her. Lorcan dressed up in his dark clothes and well covered in blood. No crown. He was probably half way to barbaric. That was half the fun. As he motioned to touch her as he came from behind. His hand aiming for a rather gentle enough touch.
"Oh forgive me, I did not mean to startle you. That was one nasty fall. Are you hurt? This is not a safe place, allow me to keep you from reaching other kinds of harm... I'm King Lorcan. You will be safe with me."
Lorcan spoke as his hand motioned to help her regain her footing. His irish accent rolled around with his charming nature. With his faint smile and his captivating stare, that generally allowed the pulling in of others. His eyes he was told were magic all in their own. Plus his magical charm helped as well. Though when was Lorcan not charming. As he was charming to this possible damsel waiting for the beast to come out and snack upon her. As Lorcan introduced his kingly self in the place she stood. These lands were his. Well Celidoine's. Lorcan did what he could to protect it and now he offered to protect this woman. He motioned to keep her close to him, but not too close so not to over run her with the blood upon him. Just as he spoke his last words, he heard the rustling in the trees. This really wasn't the time for a woman or really anyone not prepared to go wandering through the woods, not when the Cockatrice's were causing a little bit of chaos. Which Lorcan would make sure would be rid of in Celidoine, soon enough.

Where was there to go? It didn't so much cross Lorcan's mind that he would leave. No. He would not. He had agreed to help. Lorcan is never the kind to just accept something, go through it half way and quit. It was not in him to not go through it. It was much like in life, you can't exactly just run away when things get to rough, in most cases one has to go through them. Well, of course then why was Lorcan out here. Running? For the most part, not really. It was more finding himself. It was never forever. So it didn't seem to count. But really when Lorcan said he'd help her, he meant it. It would take a lot from her to offend him to just simply walk away. Really? Lorcan put it down to it was really up to her. Lorcan was here. It was a matter of when she finally woke up to the world if she wanted to stay. Surely he was still very much a stranger and there was hardly any need for her in Celidoine. If she needed his help to get her more on her path, then Lorcan had already agreed to that. He had agreed to help until it was no longer needed. He wasn't going to be some ruthless king. In the deep of it all, he did have a heart. It was just for the most part twisted. Whether by his own hands or by another or perhaps even both. There is no way to really tell. For he was long set down his path that it was no use looking back for why.
It was just a hint. Just a small hint, but it was enough. As Yassia, took the cup into her fabled hands, that warm touch seemed to even warm her cheeks. Giving an almost hint of a glow. His eyes watched her curiously as she really did seem thankfully, even if tea wasn't something he did so often, well at least not this kind. Almost wondering if it'll turn her teeth black or something that would make her regret asking him to make it. His lips smirked. As it really didn't seem like a pleasant smell for either. He'd hoped this was a good sign he had churned it correctly. Perhaps this was maybe when he should have offered to taste it himself before handing to here. Not for poisons. Or maybe. He hardly expect it would kill her, would it? No. Of course not. Before he could protest at the tasting. Yassia spoke and her lips came to the rim, sipped the tea. Lorcan was left with a simple nod in response to her gratitude, although his eyes then fell to watch carefully as her lips tasted it. Waiting for the sign it all went downhill. Not really sure what these signs could be. Her eyes rolling back into her head, her skin goes pale or turns green. When her lips ceased and she spoke. Lorcan relaxed a little. The last thing he needed was an extra body to dispose and hers was too delicate to just be thrown in the depths of the waves so easily. Lorcan smiled amusingly as she spoke of the taste. He wasn't game to taste it himself, so he'd have to take her word for it. Besides he wasn't the one ill. Oh, maybe he was. Just she was his fever. Then a chuckle echoed through the hut causing his eyes to skim around. He knew who's chuckle it was. It wasn't hard to imagine that a chuckle like that belonged to a witch, to Kathryn. His attention had been taken around the room. Even when he couldn't exactly see Kathryn he could feel her. He knew this was the part of him still latching on. At least he hoped it was the case. Then Yassia burned her mouth with the tea and brought Lorcan's attention back towards her.
"Hmmm, that didn't seem pleasant. Allow me"
Lorcan looked to Yassia as she spoke, his eyes looked over her in a maybe too much in thought stare. Between her and her tea in her hands. His mind already knew what he was going to do, he didn't mind so much being in the presence of Yassia. It was small, it be quick and it wouldn't be so easy to tell. Not that Lorcan was hiding anything. Why would Lorcan need to hide anything? Surely he hadn't hid everything so far? Or had he? He muttered something that was utterly silent almost spoken within his mind. It was small. It was subtle. It was done as if he had done it like breathing. As if he had blown out so many Magical candles before or even standard candles of course. He motioned his lips above the cup and blew. His eyes changing shades for a split second. Though he continued to blow even without aid, there was hardly a difference to the untrained eye. Slowly the steam seemed to settle a little. Lorcan was sure he hadn't blown it to be too cold. He gentle took the cup from her hands. Took a sip to check. He slightly regretted it now. It really was unpleasant.
"Perfect... Well, just minus the taste. You sure you want to keep drinking that? It almost could make one sick just simply from the taste... Lucky I have a strong stomach so not to worry. For now."
Woah. His head whooshed a little then, as it seemed to all mess with his slight hangover mind. Which he had almost forgotten. Wait? No he had forgotten most of last night. He expressed a laugh for that was the whole point, to forget. Right? Wasn't it the reason to drink for the most part. All he could remember it all felt somewhat relaxing and good. Otherwise why would he repeat the process. He handed her back the now cooled cup. Half regretting it, now he knew what it tasted like. His stomach then settled down more. He hardly wanted to empty himself entirely onto Yassia. No, that was hardly the honourable thing to do. Not that Lorcan can really say he has not done that before. He half smirked, but now really wasn't the time. Even if it was better out than kept in. As he was regaining his taste buds and trying to stop his eyes from popping out. He was brought back to Yassia's more amusing words. Finding it slightly odd as she spoke of ghosts. His eyes moved around the room. Was she also seeing the ghosts. No. She mustn't. Lorcan knew it was mainly him. At least he hoped so. For thats a path he defiantly didn't think would be a good one to go down to and most likely unable to return from.
"Unless you plan on murdering me and disposing my body in the ocean. I think I'm a solid figure. I might not be able to pass through walls or do other cool moves, but least I have my solid good looks to gaze upon... Now don't you be the one thats fretting to lose me. I wouldn't be so quick to beg me to stay, but as it is your wish. I am here to stay for however long to wish it. Just wish me away when you tire of me or I have lost my solid charm and I simply become a vision of something I once was."
Lorcan jested to Yassia. The only ghosts in here was that of Kathryn. Perhaps this Mircea she wished to find. Though he could only feel and see Kathryn's for the most part. Whether she really was a ghost or a figment of his mind he wasn't entirely sure. He was quite sure it was probably best he didn't see her. Then why would he wish not to see the woman he once loved, that he still loved. It just wasn't something one ever thought about when one dies, as is if you want them to haunt you. Isn't it peace you wish for them. Which ever it was, he was quite sure he was half ways of being a ghost from time to time, but he had a future at being a king, that he hoped wouldn't end with a sudden early passing. His skin tingled as her hand touched his skin. He jumped a little as if thinking Kathryn was suddenly there and more some reason could touch him. Then relaxed as all he saw was Yassia. She wasn't the same as Kathryn, just a different beauty. His eyes tracked down. He knew even going down that path was a lame one. It would cause to much things, that were just rather pointless. For it was much like comparing anyone to another. It just didn't work that way. Then really who was Yassia to Lorcan. Nothing much other than a girl he had rescued for now. A rather pale yet sweet girl. Perhaps kind. Though then why wouldn't she be. He had just saved her life and in ways still saving it. There be hardly reasons to be rude to your saviour. Though Lorcan was hardly one to really expect she would all of a sudden change. He just wouldn't be so surprised. People always change. It wasn't a matter of how much nor why. It was merely a matter of when. Then people aged. When you aged you changed in ways. It was just a matter of not being so ignorant about it.
"No we should not run, but it seems to be in our nature. To not confess to all our sins... If your speaking in more physical form then fighting is much what we need to do, but running can also mean escaping. It maybe the best choice. We all need to escape even for a moment. Need to be reminded why we need to stay or even if we should stay. Sometimes it can be best for everyone even if they don't realise it... And yes your right... Then, What is it that your running towards Yassia? Not just some lonely prince on a sandy beach. Then I forgot the white horse."
Lorcan spoke having heard Yassia's more in depth response. He knew there was something at the core of what she spoke and trying to come across. Yet, Lorcan knew she was also being rather vague. It was fine, Lorcan was slowly unraveling this puzzle himself. Though its best most cases to just let it do it itself. There was no need to just place someone where they wouldn't want to be placed. Misplaced judgement happened more then Lorcan knew. He was still victim to doing it himself, he was sure there be hardly any who didn't. It was that notion one wanted something to be so simply explained and yet things were just so vastly complex. It was much like it can't exactly be explained. He was interested to see where she was running towards. Then hadn't he already been told that, Camelot. Though how she had said it, she seemed to be speaking about something different. Lorcan wasn't overly displeased if she wished not to talk to hi about it. It was hers to keep and he would hardly be offended. He barely knew the woman. There was no deliberate means for him to bring up prince in her words. He hadn't said it out of truth or lies. Nor to see a reaction. He merely said it. Jested it. He had nothing to hide so to speak. He allowed what he allowed to be told. When asked he answered. It was just a matter of how much detailing he gives. In many cases he could answer and in the ways of it completely left without an answer. It was all a matter of using the words correctly. It wasn't so simply that he was toying nor playing. He was simple Lorcan with a mind not so easily explained. He was confusing at the best of times. More in the end Lorcan was just Misunderstood. It wasn't his fault that people didn't understand him. It was how he was viewed by others and just in ways he used that.
He had not seen her actions so bad she needed to be sorry for it. It was just something that had not happened. He knew she had meant out of play with it. It was simply fine. Lorcan wasn't so within himself that he simply saw himself above everyone else. He smiled gently as her sincereness was enough to show him she really had meant no harm. Lorcan is just fickle at times in trying to understand, when somethings are just plain and simple. His head nodded as she spoke of trusting him. Repeating it. Sure as she kept repeating it, it will soon be set in stone? Well, he doubted that. Trust was never that easily sealed, but he knew what she meant. The honesty and innocence was plain to see. For the current situation she trusted him. His actions were trustworthy. His lips grinned as she spoke about her eyes. Lorcan was sure he could already see they thanked him just by looking at them. They had that trickle in the centre or maybe it was just the reflection of the crackling fire behind him. Burning in her eyes. Though he was sure he could also see tiny Lorcan in there, was he upside down? Strange things have happened.
"Can't say I'd be disappointed if the dress refused. It would just distract from your appealing skin. You might warm up better without it. You have a nice blanket to curl up in. It would be more comfortable I'd imagine.... Did that just sounded like I've worn a dress before? Perhaps best kept left as a mystery for the time being. Help amuse your mind."
All Lorcan could do was be amused at her words. The more of a hole she was digging. Oh how any other man could cope. With how many directions her words could tell. For really why would a man be upset if a dress refused. It sure save a lot of time for most occasions. Then wouldn't she warm up quicker without clothes. She had a nice fur blanket, his sister said something about a fever or something. Oh an what did she say about body heat? Was the quickest way or something? Lorcan wasn't overly apposed to stripping himself if that's what it meant. He was sure he could warm her up nicely whilst keeping his hands to himself. Then best not to promise that if they test the waters so to speak. Oh wait, well this probably why she wanted a dress. To discourage this behaviour. As Lorcan retrained his male urges. He was suddenly wishing for a nice pint now.
Lorcan then refocused on the task at hand. What a task he was blessed with? Wow. Was all that was repeated in his mind? Surely he was safe she couldn't read his mind. Nodding. Lorcan motioned him self over the bed to be behind Yassia, as he replaced his hands upon Yassia. Helped Yassia to sit before him so best go at the lacing. Although having said what he just did and thought. He was rather mindful of where his hands laid. As he helped her to sit. His hands lingering rather warmly upon her chilled body. He breathed out of amusement. Surely with magic he could dry her clothes and make her as warm as she wished. Though this seemed more enjoyable. Call him a weak man. Every man was and every man had one. He allowed how ever distance she wanted between them. It just seemed easier to take care of her from here. Plus his eyes would merely see her back bare, hardly any of her front bare skin. Though if he trailed his eyes down he could see a rather pleasing feature, but for the most part all her womanly parts were out of his sight for now.
"If I seem extremely skilled at this, don't be alarmed."
His hands slowly unknotted the bow of the cords. This was harder than one would expect. Which made it seem women had it tougher than men in this world. Especially when Lorcan knew men probably be content the women wearing a lot less. Well then came the obsessive husbands not wishing their wives touched by another man. Which Lorcan knew happened regardless to how difficult the garment was. For most part men can go to great lengths to get what they want or doesn't belong to them. If one can really say anyone including a woman belong to really anyone, other than themselves. His hands slowly pulled the cords, loosening the garment bit by bit. Seeing the more loosened the more skin he was glimpsing. She had exquisite pale smooth skin. So delicate and sweet. A gentle smell of seas salt and it seemed heaven. His hands motioned to pull the fabrics at the top more a part as it seemed these worked a lot with strength sometimes to really get them to loosen up. Which caused his fingered within the garment and melt within her cooled skin. Having much the desire to touch it more gently. The curve of her neck just glowing of the warm fire. He hadn't much will as his hands gently then ran down the back of her neck as his own throat was a bit caught within the moment. He was still together. His hands ran down the curves at her neck, feeling the soft skin even more beautiful as they ran down the top of her spin as they made for the garment once more to loosen it up more. Until he was sure it was well loosened, it was a matter of whether she wanted him to continue to take it off or she did. As his finger gently brushed back up the top of her spin to her neck. His hands then gently ran over her shoulders. Before taking his hands off. His eyes upon nothing than her skin. The back of her neck and trailed down where he had loosened it. Before also regaining his eyes and looked upon her cheek.
"Yassia, you just have exquisite skin forgive me if I made you uncomfortable... Now is this loose enough? I think next stage is removing it. Seeing as I will merely see your bare back, this should be quite pain free for the both of us."
Lorcan had found the confidence to own up to it instead of just pretending it did not happen, when it was still quite embedded in his mind. A little hard not to when his eyes was still much upon her skin. It was best ask what she needed of him next. Though he gathered now was the actual removing part. Which sitting behind her shielded him mostly of her front womanly parts. It was mainly her back. Although it was rather pleasing in itself from what he glimpsed of it. This should help Yassia feel more comfortable and it shouldn't be so hard to hold back to much of the desire touchings. There was only so much Lorcan could do about his brain. His thoughts. He hadn't even pondered exactly what was in her mind at his touches other than she probably didn't wish it.

There he could spot her out the corner of his eye. His blue eyes that held so much and could captivate an entire room, they wouldn't even know it. As Lorcan's hands fiddled with the pouch of herbs. Really he hadn't a great sense of healing. For his mother had only shown him a bit here and there. Lorcan's training was, well elsewhere. He was prince. He was heir. He was soon to be king. Though Lorcan didn't heed this too much into his mind for now. Yassia was much really a distraction, of course in between the ghost of Kathryn. Lorcan couldn't really hide it even from himself, but his eyes did search to find her. To see a glimpse of her, but he knew there was something wrong with him trying to find ghosts. It seemed to work more when they were trying to find him. He certainly saw Kathryn in the randomness of times. More so these days than any since her death. Oh, even as he thought the word. He remembered that day. Causing a small hint at his lips of displeased. Knowing how helpless he was to stop it. He knew it was silly to think he could have found a way. For Lorcan always sort out a plan. If not before then, he most certainly did these days. With that Lorcan smirked. For he wouldn't allow that to happen again. He wouldn't allow himself to be so helpless again.
Ahhh, he muttered to himself as Yassia spoke of the herbs. Ailantha? Yassia was starting to form a much broader picture for herself. Between the speaking to stars and the far far away land, Lorcan was still feeling he was maybe still ways off before really grasping who she was. Though was there really someone here he needed to know? She was far from here and sort Camelot. Celidoine was merely the bridge. There was something about her, but it maybe just the slight discolour in her cheeks. The slight flush of her blood trying to find its course and survive. The way the flames from the fire behind him illuminated against her pale skin. There was yet of a way to tell what she would be like once healed. Would she simply thank him and leave. Use him and disappear. Would Lorcan really care? Or be surprised? People can generally do that. For now Lorcan could trust her, it was just not overly sealed. Then even after knowing her name and where she was from, he still hardly knew the girl. Lorcan halved smiled. That once Yassia woke up for good, she might see Lorcan not so charming. Though really, he was quite charming as Lorcan could be, given a reason to be. Tea? Lorcan almost rang, of course it would do that. Well, that for sure Lorcan could and would do. Make tea.
And so, Lorcan made off of the bed. Which by the way he was mightily enjoying it. Why is more or less not so easy to explain. Perhaps mainly because last night he missed the bed completely. Then Lorcan isn't quite the jealous type nor Selfish. Oh wait, then he is only human. Lorcan to put the tea in the pot in the fireplace and let the pot boil. The smell was already enlightening the room with a smell Lorcan wasn't overly familiar with. Lorcan was beginning to wonder If Isolde had found Yassia, she' probably be half better by now, but Lorcan was still pleasant company to have. Lorcan smirked gently as his eyes danced upon the flames. His mind a little elsewhere as his eyes stared. Maybe seeking to sneak another capture, then there is the chance he was just thinking several things, not really needing to be explained or left for another time. Soon he knew the tea was ready. Who knew? A prince making tea. Then Lorcan isn't most princes. He had dealt with even a chicken in his day. He found a cup to pour it in. It defiantly smelt from across the seas. Of a land far far away. Lorcan then placed the tea down upon the table, it was maybe best to allow it to cool a bit first. Although Lorcan could find a way to cool her mouth if it was needed.
"There you go. Tea. Well, I hope so. Its still quite hot so maybe allow it to cool. It defiantly smells different, I hope it helps if nothing else."
Lorcan grinned gently. He wasn't doubting himself of course. Maybe just covering himself incase he messed up somewhere and instead of fixing her, the tea made it worse. He was sure he'd take the blame either way. Although it was only Yassia and himself. So who would there be to blame him and its not as if many know who she was? Nor that she was even here. Lorcan escaped a laugh silently as he watched as if she was taking a vast interest into Lorcan as he had spoken of curses and just his expressions. His manners so to speak. That surprising to know, yes Lorcan does have some. Doesn't most people have at least some hint of manners. She was maybe trying to figure who and what he was? Trying to fit a label he was most likely wasn't. Lorcan would just simply state he wasn't easy to pin. He wasn't trying to come across as anything than who he was. If she was trying to figure his title then that was her deal not so much his own. Lorcan was quite sure either way you span it, whatever the title he would have vast hints of Lorcan no matter what. Besides who's to say how a certain person acts just because a large portion of that group do. Lorcan was quite sure not all princes were the same. Just because there are rules, doesn't mean that they all follow by them. Lorcan wasn't even sure there be a single person you has slipped up on a rule at least once or even not followed one of their own rules.
"Exactly. So if we ruin what image you have created so far, I'm not sure it would leave me with much else... Well it is quite a human thing to do as well. We all make mistakes and run from them."
Lorcan smiled faintly as he spoke to Yassia as he caught her possible speech to tease him. His eyes running over her still discoloured skin, rather enlightening for someone not quite healed, he thought. She was quite illuminating than he had thought previous. This was something he knew most would put down in this situation that she was from so far away. She was different because everything about her was different. Though Lorcan put it down to mostly it was just who she was. Which he was seeing bits slowly unraveling into a unfamiliar puzzle. Lorcan was just split with whether he preferred her well scattered or more put together. Maybe after he saw more pieces he'd have a clearer image to work with. His eyes concentrated upon her as she seemed almost guilty for Lorcan having had spoke his mind what he had meant. There was something endearing about how she seemed almost sorry. Why would she be so sorry? It was just a lack of judgement on her part. Or it was also a lack of coming across so clear on his. Which he had put down to sort of her to blame for being the distraction. Lorcan smiled he wasn't complaining that she was such a, a distraction. Lorcan's eyes frowned a bit as her finger came to his lips. It was rather an odd gesture. He was not sure he had ever been told to basically hold his tongue in such away. There was something about this that he didn't like. He knew from his he was a child the feeling of not being heard. He thought his words were his own to say, but there was also something a little different in how Yassia did this. Although there was the vast dislike she shhhed him. He could see she meant it out of a kind gesture.
"I'm not so sure I've been shhhed before, not in such a way... Well, I'm honourable enough. Though I wouldn't be getting carried away, just yet... I shall stop it once I realise I am fretting. I daresay your seeing an image of me, I don't.... No Choice, Yassia? You always have a choice. Even if you don't see it, you do. You may thank the stars for how fate churns your day, but for me fate is a matter of choice and placement. I am glad to hear you will trust me in this, it'll make things a whole lot easier..."
Lorcan wasn't overly unsettled by her words and responded as Lorcan thought he must. Keeping it light enough. This was hardly the time to getting too serious when Yassia was still shivering and needed fixing. Lorcan smiled as finally Yassia took sight of the distraction of choosing a dress. They were handmade, nicely knitted. Not as fancy for why would they be required here? Lorcan smiled. Although Linn's were maybe a touch fancier then she was a teenager. Lorcan smiled as she chose.
"Perfect choice, for a perfect lady. I am sure.... Hmmm, let me check... Yes, yes. I daresay it does match your eyes. Although I think if they were of a real competition, I think I'd put all my money on your eyes, I think I'd have better chances... Of course. Again just direct me. "
Lorcan expressed kindly as he smiled with a light touch of his hand on her own. Then leaned in as to gaze upon her eyes again, as if he hadn't seen them enough, but he wasn't about to complain at seeing them again nor again after that. Lorcan smiled again as she spoke of undressing her as being work. Lorcan was not thinking it as so much work, but when one was prince and certain entire came it sure could be work. Although he did know a woman could take a whole lot longer. Then was that down to the dress so much or the girl. Lorcan simple stated for Yassia to direct him. He thought it best than to just all of a sudden strip her here and there. Although he had thought it just be easier. Just strip her and dress her. He could do it he was sure in an ease without much of the staring and touchings that weren't required. Lorcan smiled with another light touch before taking it back. Awaiting her every command. He had no problem with her doing the command. She ruled her body, not him. Lorcan just was hoping a little that once in her new clothes, she could finally get some rest. He wouldn't be so concerned that she may fall a sleep and never be woken. He could allow her to really sleep. Dream of something quite pleasant and wake up to everything being more in place. There was a fair chance she'd wake up not under water this time. Lorcan doubted they'd be washed ashore. So as long as her nightmares were at bay, she would be safe. Safe with Lorcan as much as he could offer Yassia.

The room held the echo of the crackling of the fire that seemed to almost seem far in the distant. The rest of the hut was seeming so large for when in fact it was rather quaint and rather cozy. It was just seeming that everything around was just a little shaded from Yassia being mostly the certain of attention. Or more she was the focus of Lorcan's mind. It was that looming question. Now wasn't it? How much was she looming on his mind? How much of anything else had consumed it? There was very vast hint as Yassia was standing out so vivid and not just because Lorcan was sitting so close and their bodies so close. Lorcan could see white of her eyes and how they had the faint pink from all the sea water, how the rough night had rattled her brain. He could see how it had rattled her in several places. Lorcan was so close and observant he would make out how her eyes had a faint glow of the fire behind him. It gave her this feeling of a fire within her more frozen or drown appearance. There was just something there just very barely at the simmering and Lorcan could just glimpse it. Feel his mind trying very subtly to figure her out. Lorcan's mouth smirked faintly. As he gentle and very smugly raised his eyebrows before setting them back down. For he could find from the way her eyes moved across him and the faint shivering of her skin, which Lorcan could tell was not so much from the fever she had expressed to. This was a shiver from the suggestions he had made. That he was not so simple to her. Lorcan had laid out the simple weaving of his words and found they had worked.
It was that fine line was he trying to trick people? Was he hiding who he was? Why was there need to keep people just a little off track? There was no easy answer to it. Lorcan was Lorcan, he wasn't easy to understand. If anything he was just misunderstood. His smirk soon melted in a more warmer smile. In the heart of it he was kind, he just like keeping people a little on their toes and see how they reacted. To see how their minds worked. Not to so much make them dumber at times, but in ways to make them smarter. A small mind challenge was always pleasant. Exercising it, so to speak. Lorcan then laughed in his mind for he was weaving himself now and falling a little off track. His lips smiled more endearingly as Yassia spoke of his hands. His hands were very able. He smiled more. Then his cheeks gently glowed with a shade of pink as he felt her cheek melting into his hand. It was a gentle and subtle moment. A hint she was lending a trust. She was becoming more comfortable. Lorcan smiled as his eyes danced over her rather amused by her embarrassment of what she had just done. Lorcan wasn't making fun of her. He was more admiring the human inside her. It was a human thing to feel. To feel things or to act and there not being the slightest idea why it happened. Allowing the slight undoing of a person.
Lorcan's smile softly died and his eyes refocused as Yassia as she spoke and Lorcan made sure to hear it. Taking in her words and he nodded his head. Rolling his bottom lip between his teeth as he tracked his eyes down the length of her body as he motioned to find what she spoke. When he spotted the faint little pouch, Lorcan untied it gently from her belt. Playing with the small pouch with his hand as he gentle released is other from her cheek. As with both hands he opened the pouch. Frowning his eyes a bit as he contemplated what was inside and curious as to what this was? There the herbs were mix of different colours. Lorcan was almost sure he saw colour he had never seen before as he motioned a pinch with his fingers, but soon looked away to Yassia.
"I may need a little direction, my sister is the true healer in my family not I... These seem dry enough. I do not think these look familiar. Where did you say they were from?"
Lorcan didn't hint with nerves in his voice from the fact he didn't know what to do with them. He wasn't that easily weakened even if he wasn't sure about something. This was making him just more curious and interested. He thrived on wanting knowledge. From the pinch between his fingers Lorcan could feel the herbs dry enough. Nodding faintly and expressed a needing to know what these were. As his hand played the pouch in his hands. He was here in every way shape and form, to help. It was not in him to not help. As he took motion to look over the pouch and question what it really was. Then came the short breathe by his ear and Lorcan's eyes ran over Yassia. Screaming a little in his head. 'NO'. As he places the pouch upon the table and his hands came at the call of Yassia. Lorcan's eyes shot over her feature with concern. Touching her, but fearing too much of a touch may send her to a place he could not reach. If it would damage her. She looked so fragile like a frozen lake. Needing to be taken care of with gentle and caring touches so not to break it. He could see how blue she was going. Her lips hardly with any pink. Lorcan ran his hands upon her face. Trying to gently keep her warm and awake. 'Shhhhh'. Lorcan escaped through his lips. Trying to not lose her again.
Then as his hands began to stroke her head again and her cheek. His gentle 'shhhh' relaxed her waves that had shot up her body. She was not great deal at warm, but he had for a moment broken the sharp cold. Lorcan now feared to let his hands go from her again. Was it maybe his hands left her that she felt the cold break back through? Lorcan's brain calculated that this was highly not the case, but he wasn't about to challenge this thought. It wasn't worth the risk nor Yassia's life. For now he would keep with the gentleness of his close touch. Sooth her and keep her alive. As Yassia smiled up at him and began to spoke. Lorcan's concerned features relaxed. Letting out the breath he had been taken hold. Lorcan sat back a little so not to completely fall upon her, but kept his hands at bay upon her.
"Men generally deserve it, they can be stubborn and blind. It's women that see with such clarity... Cursing stars when something doesn't go the way you want, is seeming rather like an excuse... I can see why it is said more than often. 'maleeixo' I shall remember it for later reference... I think we in Albion also have a word we use to curse. Well, in some cases there are several words, but its best I don't express them in the company of a lady so lovely as you are... It also might change your image of me"
Lorcan expressed the words mostly through jests and a gentle voice. To keep her mind well distracted from slipping into a world far from here. To keep her mind as much off any pain he could. Lorcan smirked in between as he noted how Yassia was watching him, at times just that watching him. Chuckled inside that she was really trying to undo him, but he wasn't so sure she was near being successful. His eyes frowned a bit as if maybe during her gaze she was maybe not seeing the entire picture. Thus he began expressing a little more in his words to bring her mind a little more around. As Lorcan listened to her words about the cursing. It really did just sound like an excuse for everything bad that happened. Lorcan knew this was not so much a trait of her people, but a trait in humans. To curse. To blame something or someone else for something bad happening. It was again just a human thing. Lorcan wasn't going to say he wasn't guilty himself. Cursing wasn't all that foreign. Lorcan laughed between his words. For he was guessing his curses words were maybe a little more direct than her own was. Not fitting to be heard from the ears of a lady. Lorcan laughed again as he gently joked with Yassia. With a gentle shake of his head. As his lips smiled and his cheeks blushed of the small laughter that escaped during the moment. He had really forgotten where they were himself. Though that gentle crackling reminded him from time to time and the gentle warmth it glowed.
Lorcan's hand incased around her face. Brushing the hair until his hand had moved to here shoulder. Feeling the space ever so close. Lorcan had spoken his words in a means to try and break the silence. Feeling the coldness underneath his words came out not matching his actions. For he realised he had little control of most things as he slowly was gathering his mind. Then his eyes ran over her eyes. His reading they were confused. Why was she panicked? Why was she seeming uncomfortable? Was he squishing her? Was he hurting her? He skimmed for the reasoning for this and wanting to stop it before it grew. He then felt the firmness of her hand and let go of his hands. 'Oh'. Lorcan thought. Realising now how his action upon her clothes, the closeness and how his words had come across. Lorcan shook his head.
"Oh no no... Sorry I must have lost my train of thought... I'm sorry, forgive me I did not mean for it to come out like that. I guess you had me well, quite out of my own control... I only meant by that so you don't catch more of a chill... Forgive me Yassia I meant it out of kindness and my lame attempt at breaking the silence. I promise I am not seeking anything out of you being undressed other than your own well being. I meant it. When I said you'd be safer with me. I promise to act and to do whatever makes you comfortable. Not that with or without your anymore or less appealing. But this is really besides the point when your well being is vastly important than the shape of your skin. I'll keep my hands steady for all I care for in this is that your are healed and live to see another day. That you may one day being able to look upon all that has transpired and smile that you survived along enough to see all your dreams come true. But just forgive me if what my eyes gently linger upon that I may silently admire, but I promise I'll keep my thoughts to myself. And I'll keep my hands in check.... Please Yassia, let me help you. Just direct me and I am here. Trust me..."
Lorcan spoke trying reassure Yassia of what he had meant. He had meant it to be more than really a harmless thing to say and it clearly was not. Lorcan just tried to prove she could trust him, there was a lot of words, but Lorcan wasn't stumbling so much and trying to mean everything he said. Maybe this was not the time to confuse her, but it had become such in his nature that it was had time hard to control. Lorcan knew if Yassia's brain worked at least half decent she could read into what he was trying to mean. When he spoke 'please, let me help you'. Her gentle replaced one of his hands just upon her arm. Hoping to show he was not trying to force her to do anything she wished never to do. He was merely here to help, but how could he even attempt if she was afraid of him. If she hadn't a bit of trust in him and a part of Lorcan wouldn't blame her if she hadn't any trust for him, but he hoped she could try to. Feeling his thumb rub her skin kindly as he spoke to 'trust me'. As his eyes kindly made to her own. then he regained back his hand incase it was too soon to offer even a brush of his skin and Yassia was now completely closed to the idea. His hands then made to the dresses he had laid out at the foot of the bed. His hand taking them by the hangers as he reached behind. Placing them upon Yassia's lap. His hand still holding the hangers, but placing them upon her lap so to have a better look.
"So which would you prefer? Take your pick... Best you don't ask me. I have a quite biest opinion, any to me would only enhance your beauty. Never diminish."
Lorcan asked with a release of his breath and the changing of the tone of the conversation. Trying to lead away from what could embarrass Yassia and what could more lighten her up her cheeks with a quiet amusement. As Lorcan showed her the dresses. If she had gone through all this she had gone through. Lorcan knew the choosing of dresses was the last thing she was caring about and she had already expressed her distaste of coming across selfish. Lorcan just thought this was more a simple choice where she can begin to feel herself again. She was after all human with an opinion. It was a nice thing he thought to be presented after being nearly killed and survived. A sense of normalise. For he knew in her mind she was probably thinking most all that she had lost and not what she was gaining or what she could gain. She had a life now before her at the grasp. If this simple gesture of her choice was to help hint her towards that then Lorcan was here to help. To make her feel a bit more a live and a human deserving to be a live. That even in the darkest moment everything she was mattered. She had survived merely because she was meant to live. Lorcan had no idea whether it was stars or anything else guiding. Than just the course of life. Fate and Karma. Lorcan didn't care to over think why she had survived or why he had come to find her it was not important, the how it happened. It was because it happened why it was important.

The corners of Lorcan's lips smiled ever so faintly. As Yassia began to spoke. His eyes frowned slightly in the middle. He hadn't realised he had spoken so much or really too much. Was his words to much to bear. Was it just causing her mind to spin even whilst rather motionless upon the bed. It wasn't a water bed, so the so called motion sickness shouldn't arise. She would be safe to just sink and relax. If is voice and extended words weren't keeping her from resting. Lorcan didn't think it be wise to leave her completely to rest. What if he returned and found she had sunk to much. She might as well have sunk to the bottom of the sea. It would write of the whole effort Lorcan had made to save her, so no he wasn't planning on just vanishing through the mists. Like one of his not so friendly ghosts. His eyes frowned more, was he even friendly enough? Ghost? Well, he was close and even closer at times. Lorcan shook his head ever so gently to save himself from sinking into his mind to much. He wasn't sure if many if none wished to live even for a second within his rattled cage. It was doing far more than rattling on a on going bases. Never such a dull thought. Always a flutter of an ugly bird stuck well inside its more beautiful cage.
"As soon as you feel able, we'll start the planning of your arrival in Camelot... As long as I am here, I think certain types of fevers will remain at bay. You'll be recovered before you can even flutter a cough"
Lorcan smiled as she mustered her gratitudes towards his direction. Catching the fight she was having between her teeth. He was sure soon as her clothes were gone and she was able to dry. With that and the warm fire, she was bound to feel more comfortable. Lorcan nodded as he spoke. He was sure as far as the 'we' planning, it probably be mostly him. Although he didn't think it could involve much planning. It was only to get her to her destination in Camelot. There wasn't a lot of hurdles they would really need to cross. Well, perhaps his lack of returning to his own castle. It was a matter should he just return with Yassia in toe and then guide her. Lorcan wasn't much interested in the idea of there journey being cut short as his own search party stopped them in their tracks. Not that his father be all that well at jus dragging Lorcan by the feet or any limb to carry him back to the castle. There wasn't a lot of anything he could muster from his bed, but he was still able to take control. Hmmm, soon so very soon. This whole Kingdom would be at his every call. And yet even less chances of doing really what he wanted, when he wanted, but it really wasn't the point. As they spoke of fevers. Lorcan had positioned for his hand to rest on her forehead. It was feeling quite cool. Maybe a little too cool. Lorcan wasn't sure whether it was better than it being to hot, but he knew there was little good coming out from her clattering teeth besides her kind words. He smiled as she was managing a taste of her personality through them, despite her rather mind gone state. As he pointed out the fevers would be at bay, he knew there might just be room for the more better kind of fevers, but he wasn't so keen as to really land on what these fevers were. Nor did he know what really coursed through her veins, a part from blood. Feeling his tongue just gently lap at his lips. Then returned to a smile as he was sure with his help, her recovery would be soon well on the mend.
Lorcan felt the gentle pulling of his eyes and his clothes. His eyes shifted up now his hair was being pulled. Feeling himself being examined by Yassia as she seemed not to have noticed him before. Lorcan questioned that, but then she was knocked out. He wondered what she was reading. Was it interesting? Lorcan gathered so as her gaze lingered and continued the pulling now over his skin. Her eyes were quite strong trying to pull every inch to make a very embedded thought in her brain. Or maybe more than just her brain, but Lorcan wasn't game to consider. Lorcan was sure his appearance wasn't about to give him away too much, but did it really matter if she caught something or anything. What was he trying to hide? Then what was the fun if he told you.
His eyes shifted as her attention came to the flask, it seemed to bring recognition to her eyes as her fabled hand grasped it in her hand. Lorcan looked upon this image curiously. It was familiar to her, it was one of the last things left to remind her of the ship and from where ever she was from. If this flask was even her own which Lorcan could pick up from how she viewed it, it was more than luck. Watching now as she accepted the food. His eyes looked upon her interestedly as he wasn't thinking he was really over doing her with kindness. As she seemed express that was what he was doing. Lorcan wasn't trying to impress her. There was hardly any need as her body laid limb, she wasn't looking as if she was going to run anytime soon. He was rather hungry himself, but his concerns of himself were at bay. Though her words were sweet and he nodded at her desire for more something simple. It hadn't been something he had just really thought she wanted or needed. Lorcan had just reacted naturally who ever was laying there. For they were in a hut, with things quite well simple around them. How far could he take these expenses?
"Oh no, there is no expense being taken. Though I fear that won't be enough for later, just anything you do need you may simply ask of it and it will be done."
Lorcan expressed as kindly and honestly as he could. It was his to offer. He was almost about to escape laughter. She thought Lorcan thought Yassia was trying to throw herself at him. It was far from even what he had been thinking, but now that she had brought it up realised it could have come across that way. The way she had spoke of it. Lorcan just shook his head. He was merely stating the mere opportunity most men would take advantage of it, not that she was offering. As if she was even in a state to really think to. No. He wasn't the kind to think a woman so open. Particularly this woman who was so close to death. Not that there aren't women that are open, it was just wise to not assume any woman was. That was a road one didn't want to take for the mistake was pretty high in the making. If he was planning on bedding her, Lorcan was sure this conversation would be vastly different and his planning much more target pointing.
"Yassia... No, you, I didn't mean to imply you were any which way. I was merely stating the opportunity to undress a beautiful woman like yourself, most men would be jumping at the chance. Its something otherwise if a man does without asked, well usually causes a few slaps, no more like a lot of slaps. I am of course not most men, but I'd be lying if I said I was no man at all. I am happy to lend a hand or two. I just don't want you to feel uncomfortable, by any means... Just what ever you feel most comfortable with? I'm happy to help."
Lorcan sunk his seat more comfortably in the bed beside her. This was an awkward speech for both of them well mostly awkward. Lorcan could see the struggle she gave between her words, watching her cheeks blush. Lorcan tried to explain what he had meant. His previous words were not said so much at all from anything she did or didn't do. It was merely what his inner man brain said. What that part of him in most men would do? Lorcan laughed for most men would probably be to nerved through just the undressing that their nerves for much else would most likely cease. Women, well they had a hold over men in many ways. Able to make a man freeze. Make on stumble over words to impress them and bring a man to his knees. A woman could strengthen a man. Just really a woman could move a man every which way. For every woman was different and caused a different reaction, but usually at least some sort of reaction. Lorcan wasn't the type worried that a woman could have such great power to pull him down. He wasn't out to get women or just shut them out. He didn't see gender so much, just actions. Kathryn had shown him the light. Love was hard and it was strong. It was ever so painful, but it seemed little reason to go through life without it. Whatever weakness there was out of it, it was balanced with even greater strength. Lorcan believed with everything in life you give up to get given. Life was all about balance. It was not black or white. It was both. It was a life of grey. Lorcan felt though through these awkward words, it was somewhat easing the tension. It helped reach more comfortable feelings if one shared the more awkwardness up front. Lorcan as kindly as he could muster spoke that was all he wanted was her to feel comfortable. If she needed his help, then he was happy to help he could bite down that silly teenage excited boy with hormones. He was not so much a boy anymore, he could handle this more as a man. As a human.
His eyes ran over hers again in curiosity as her lips chuckled at his words about the circling stars. He wasn't taken back that she was maybe laughing at him. It was a natural reaction one much learn to handle. If one couldn't even laugh at themselves, well they were living life just a little to blinded. He could get embarrassed, but there was nothing wrong with feeling that. It meant you were human. He was human with plentiful of mistakes. Flaws, he was sure somewhere and he wasn't about to apologise for them. Just something one had to except. Her laughter did make him smile softly. He was like seeing more colour in her cheeks and feeling her feeling more senses other than coldness. Lorcan was reassured as she spoke she was not seeing stars and he was beginning to see why she laughed. Ah. He mustered in his skull. As Yassia spoke about what she believed and the stars guiding them. Their fate. He looked at her questionably. Not that he was opposed to anyone else believes. He was vastly open to all.
"Well, sounds like a very honourable thing to believe. But forgive me for asking. Then what happens when something not so fortunate happens? Do you still thank them or curse them?... I had only considered stars to be like a massive luminous cluster of energy and plasma, of power far far away in the galaxies. Much like the sun... They are wondrous to watch and discover. I have very vast memories of my siblings and I, laying upon the sands staring up at them for hours on end..."
Lorcan expressed his words to Yassia. Having the need to ask from his now curious mind. His mind was after all always churning. He just wasn't so sure stars had guided him to save her. If she wanted to thank the stars for him helping her then that be fine. Lorcan was sure he was doing the helping quite alone and quite well. Lorcan smiled down upon her as his eyes searched within her own. The images of the nights spend looking at the stars filled his mind. He could easily imagine how such things were special to her. Maybe even more so. This wasn't about make Lorcan go down on his knees and prey. Lorcan really one so easily brought to his knees, he much prefer to be the one commanding of knees bent. It just depended on who it was. It was seeming to work. His stare bringing her within his mind. She had frozen. He couldn't see so much she was dizzy now. She was focused upon his own stare. He could feel her sinking into a more comfortable state. Not wishing to move nor turn her gaze away. His eyes frowned a little as she gave him a smile. It was unexpected, but it was a rather joyous surprise. Lorcan was rather still motionless himself. His hand caressed his cheek again brushing her forehead. As his frown disappeared. His eyes looking upon her own then moving between to read her features. The way her cheeks ran ever so lightly of pink. How he tried to brush her hair, yet he found a strand fighting him and yet he found this strand quite extraordinarily beautiful. The mere shimmer of trust enclosing her eyes. His lips then smiled. This girl was rather nicely radiant. Feeling his breath feeling a steady pace, though feeling a few nerves seeking to race. Lorcan just wasn't ready to read into these just yet. Maybe let them build before seeing which way they ran.
"I... Think best get you out of these clothes."
His voice motioned softly to slowly breaking through the silence. As his breath was very escaped between his words. As his hand continued a light caress upon her skin and his eyes played upon hers. As his lips smirked. Feeling his hand lightly move down her cheek ran down her neck and came at the fabric upon her shoulder. His smirk creating a more softer smile. As he found himself still half with in this stare, that he was half aware.

The day was seeming to move ever so slowly. It was still morning? Wait? Was it morning? This caused Lorcan to stop short. Think? Lorcan was bright. He didn't really take much heed to what time it was. He had no clock by him and he had been a sleep a long time, he was sure. He could have just assumed it was morning and not having the real faint idea what really time it was. Looking towards the sky it really was just a fabled guess. The clouds were still thick from the rain that fell the night before. There was still the hints. The faintness of fog from the clouds that had fallen. His eyes just taking sight of the yellow spot hidden behind the blanket of white. It was seeming morning. Just well? Late morning. Lorcan sniffed a little. Who was here to really to blame he had slept in? There was just him and Yassia. It had been a rough night in many ways, he had defiantly needed to sleep it off. Had Lorcan meant for this to led him to fall a sleep outside and in forest? Not so much. He just put it down to lack of control. His mind was well shaded. He probably just fell asleep where last stood. Lorcan was surprised he didn't wake up with a cold. He guessed he had thick skin. He was someone usually misunderstood. That mystery puzzle. Well, he liked to to keep people guessing. Depending on who they were.
Lorcan really was a man with a kind heart. He also had a very keen head. Things were more shaded than they seemed. Lorcan continued his hold of the fabled woman. His hand caressing her cheek again as her words escaped her lips. Lorcan's ears took her words. Her plea. Her wishing to do nothing than believe. Lorcan's hand made to wipe her tears. Who was Lorcan to tell her not to? To believe anything else. He wasn't. He couldn't. He defiantly wouldn't. A lot of the troubles in this world was down to not following ones deepest believes, but listening to what they called 'reasoning'. Now there is a point though, that believing can turn into a tunnel unable to return from. It can soon become filled of nightmares. Of false dreams. Of getting so high up that one forgets even where ground lays. It was just a matter of listening to your heart. Everyone had a voice. An inner voice that called. It was just a matter of tuning in. Lorcan was better at tuning in to others and quite well at keep himself from others tuning in to him.
Lorcan continued to run his hand gently over her cheek. His hand very closely to her lips. As his escaped a shhh. Lorcan heard her plea. It was best she saved her voice, her energy. There be more time later to pour out all she needed. What she required. Lorcan's eyes ran over her. He knew such things had only begun for her. These images she was seeing was merely a taste. It wasn't so much the present pain. It was how this pain can endure. Lorcan wondered how this, Yassia would play out in a year from now. Something to this scale was going to leave a defiant scar. It would just be something to watch it heal. If it ever did. Would she be stronger than he had been? Or Would she be weaker? Take the road, Lorcan had toyed with taking. It was hard to tell if this was even a flutter in this girl's brain. As Lorcan caressed her. He was toying how much he cared about this. About this, Yassia. He was on a level. He was a kind man. Could he come to care for her? It was barely a thought. A flutter of a thought. It wasn't something he would stop or try to start. There was no reason to force anything. For now she was Yassia, a girl from the ship. Not much else. She had the right to be saved, as did most people he would have done the same. With that his eyes shifted. Smirked. Only Lorcan knew that answer. Or did he. Causing a frown between his eyes.
Ah. There it was. Brother. No wait. Stepbrother. Not just that a friend and Guardian. Of special importance. Family. Lorcan jested towards, despite the lack of blood joinment. There was a hint why hadn't she said brother? He wondered if someone very much family one would have said brother then stepbrother. Her lack of mind he wouldn't expect her to be so so formal. Not that brother was much like a title as prince was. But to some there just titles. Family didn't always mean by blood. Lorcan should know about the ill mixed blood. His father was sure not his first choice at the title, but really. Did one have much of a choice? He had ruled much of Lorcan's life. Well as much as he thought he had. Not so much now. Lorcan flinched at that. For then why was there that need last night? As much as he thought he was free, he was reminded he wasn't just yet. He probably wouldn't be until that crown was upon his head.
Then. Then. He could set his kingdom free. Keep it safe. Not just glossy it with this fairy tale image. Breathe back life into it. Feel the soul deep within and let its heart race throughout the lands. The decades and many more centuries to come. Even if it trickles down to a myth a faint whisper. As long as it is a strong one and a reminder of the song the heart once sang, it was enough. Even if only Lorcan is whispered and it makes one recall the fairy tale with a real core of magic of real humanity thriving. His eyes traced back to Yassia. Feeling her words of gratitude come to meet his ears. Lorcan dipped his head in response. His eyes shutting as he did. Lorcan smiled softly. As she defiantly wanted his help to find her brother, but knew she was not strong enough. Admiring how her tone to this realisation came out. Feeling the strings in her brain work in a slight wonder of clock works. Just minus the clock, maybe. He then looked at her. There was no telling how well this mind worked. It had been well hit and drowned. Who's to tell if it had been damaged? Ah. That's the question. Was it already damaged? That's of course if it is. Lorcan knew it probably just not working as it should for now. Not that Lorcan cared to much how smart someone was. His mind was just well? Always working. He liked to keep them all guessing. If someone was to read something into him. There be a good chance Lorcan led them there. For there is always more than one plan. More than one thought that rang through his mind. He was good at compelling even with out help of magic. It just came down to the type of mind. There just was something about sucking someone in and then able to weave them if needed. Well depending again who they were. It defiantly helped to weave out the enemies. Not that Lorcan was seeking them. Lorcan always felt quite in the middle of the crowd. Not sure the eyes were upon him were all that clear. That they didn't look at him the way they should. Then who was Lorcan to tell how one should judge someone. He wasn't about to make everyone like him. He did not care for that. If they did, it was by choice and just the natural course.
The dreary start of the day vanished along with the cold. As the hut started to fill with the warm crackling fire. Lorcan's eyes danced upon the flames. As they started. Watching as they jumped log after log. As if a life of their own. Slowly rising. Growing. How did one not see this inside a person? Humans were maybe the most destructive creature. So full of power, it was just a matter of how to use it. For Fire if controlled can be wondrous. If left to grow wild it can be wondrous for all the wrong reason. But in the end either path can be blown out and if one is lucky breathed again to start again, to rise again in flames. Lorcan very much wished to be in control. Hmmm, how much? It was not so easy to say for now. For from time to time, fire can get a little out of hand and then set back on its course. Was it so wrong? Lorcan wasn't about be to be labeled a villain not close. He thought more be lack of labels. Someone that wasn't so easy to be defined. So easily figured out. Maybe this was his fear that someone would figure him out. See his weakness. So he did all he could to distract them. His sisters knew him well. He didn't feel the need to hide from them greatly, but with them he wasn't so much a prince nor heir he was their brother. They were a family no matter what. If titles were stripped, they would always have each other. That was the one part that was real in their family. Their connection. Yet, there was still that each sibling had their own course. Kathryn opened Lorcan to the man he is today. She saw in him what many don't. She took this depressed shy boy and he became so much more a live. He just felt a bit dead before. He was always kind, but something was awaken when she came into his life. He saw a new light in this world. Saw everything more clearly.
Was she following him? Was he really seeing her face dance within the flames? His face ran of an expression he was confused. Saddened in a way. A slight pain. Why had she said what she said? If it had been her? Seek her? to not follow? Lorcan though he had strayed far from that path a few years ago. Was she seeing that was not the case? Maybe he was hiding it even from himself. Or was there something else to those words. Before Lorcan could really dive into these ideas and thoughts, her image soon faded. Nothing than flames. Like a thick warm blanket. Mix of reds, oranges and yellows. It was even nice to him. Warming his ice cold skin. Lorcan remained upon the spot on the bed. His head moving back to Yassia as she spoke. Camelot? So this course had been close? Lorcan was about to speak then she formed her promise to the secret. His eyes looked down in a joyous smile an escape of a breath. As somehow he believed her. He would have to trust her in this. Not that it was in his heart of hearts to really hunt her down if she happened to spill her guts, literally.
"Camelot you say? Well, that's not much than a few days ride. I'm sure you'll only be late by just a few days, depending on how quick you heal... And, its best you don't travel even half healed. There are things in the forests. Nay these lands, that are not as charming as I can be... Gratitude. It is much a special place and I do not wish to see it ruined."
Lorcan's voice started to bring out his words. Forming more and more. How she would take him? Was up to her. Lorcan assumed she was probably over due on her arrival, maybe would be by a couple days. But it just seemed wise if she waited until she was healed. If she was familiar she'd be quickly snagged. Well this is depending if Lorcan was helping her cross these borders. He had little to no objections. He expressed a concern he was maybe expected back at the castle soon before to much suspicion arose. His little adventures weren't exactly secret. He breathed out a laugh. Either way he'd happily help her. He just feared even with him; her lack of health may just hinder him. Wait? Why was he doubting his skills? Hmmm, still it wasn't worth the risk of both lives let alone just hers. He did after all had his spidey senses at his finger tips at the ready. Just he'd have to keep them at a very silent whisper. His lips turned into a half smile, smirk. He had a lot of mystery. He always had a plan. Several at a time.
He then looked at Yassia in more concern as the chill seemed to really be catching her. Especially between the teeth. Lorcan reached out a hand to feel her forehead. These were not good signs. Lorcan then focused on her words. On her needs. Nodding. Taking note. As if a magical notepad and quiver appeared. Water he could muster. As he had carried the bottle he had found. He expressed he wasn't sure it was enough. Enough for now. Once she was a little more set on track. It was maybe best to take her to the kingdom. There was much more supplies there, but for now the hut was more than welcoming. He handed her the water. Lorcan looked to the fabled storage. He knew it was generally kept well stocked so for the random visits. Sometimes, like this one.
Lorcan pulled his weight off the bed as he made way to the storage. Pulling the door open. There was some bread. Mixed grains and more herbs. Spices. Fruits and veggies. He almost forgot the garden nearby. Though there seemed enough here. No meat as it clearly would be well out of date. He could manage to catch some fish. Ummm, Lorcan toyed. As he turned to her. Would she be able to stomach something from the sea? He was sure a fish wouldn't churn up a great deal of pains, then he was sure they'd surface on their own either way. Then he heard her words about her clothes. It clicking in his head. right! Clothes. Of course. Ribs? He toyed as he motioned to the small wardrobe. Not a lot inside. Not as much dust as expected. It had been visited more recently than he had thought. Isolde had just returned, Lorcan wouldn't be surprised she had already snuck off to these special places. Though there was a couple of choices. Even for Lorcan. It sure brimmed him up. He could return for once out of the clothes from the night before. Ooh, even a jacket. He could least appear smart looking. He grinned. He toyed his finger upon his lips. He was thinking this maybe something best left for her to choose. He escaped a laugh. He doubted in her state she'd be picky, but she was a woman. Then she was also a person, who he was sure had opinions. He defiantly couldn't choose. And he wasn't one to want to try and size her up. As there were options from both Isolde and Linn. He, no defiantly not wanting to go down that road. He was wise enough not wishing to have himself bruised or marked. He knew women can slap and hit hard when they meant it. He thought maybe it was down to the man just would let them hit them maybe. After all how many men were just out to hit women? He stopped in his train of thoughts, for he knew there were more than few. Shaking the thoughts. Anyways? He wasn't sure what he could do about her ribs. If dented. He could offer to undent them. It was a little hard to really reach or grasp ribs, but he could find a way. Oooh as Lorcan flinched his hand. He was sure there is a spell for this. Though there was a chance he could remove the bone completely maybe more. As he tried to recall. He pulled out a wooden rustic plate. Placed some bread, cheese and some fruits for now. He could make more of a meal once the fish were caught. With his hands? Well, we'll see. Did he not say he always had a plan? So not to worry. He motioned back to Yassia and placed the plate upon the small wooden table beside the bed.
"This should be enough for now? There is an ocean outside, so I'll catch us some fish. If you don't mind? It might just be easier. Who knows, I might even find a lobster... There is a few to select as far as dresses, go. I'm, ah forgive me I'm not so skilled at the picking of dresses. But, please help yourself. Both Isolde and Linn seemed to have left some, they won't miss them... Are you offering me the chance to help the undressing? This should be a man's dream, but I must let my pride speak for me. If only you wish the need of my help, of cause... I'm not sure, I think how ever you spin it. Still comes off slightly creepy, right?... If you wish to handle this in more privacy? I can offer that whilst I go play fish hunter... I'm not sure I can offer much aid to your ribs. I may know of something, I just have to recall some more, we don't need the bone to completely vanish after all... The stars? If your seeing stars, I'm not sure that's a good sign. Are you feeling dizzy?"
Lorcan spoke as he remained standing at the bed. Gesturing to the plate as he had placed it down. Expressing he could catch a fish or more. Checking this be easy for her to handle. How was he to know? She could be allergic. He joked about the lobster. As it was the more classy kind of shellfish. For this hut was small and no real castle, but had enough clearly. All was missing was the extra touch of expense. A lobster could be the trick. Although the screams might just put them off. We'll see how Lorcan's skill plan out. Lorcan motioned back to the clothes and pulled out a couple of dresses as he gestured to them. Placing them upon the end of the bed. It really wasn't something he was so comfortable choosing. There was offence there quite easily at the slip of his hand of his choice. It was best be hers. He knew there was that every need to ask to help her undress. She was well. Not quite healthy. This really was a dream for most men. A strange woman he's just met. Quite helpless. Alone in a hut. A crackling fire to muffle out the screams and miles away from anyone hearing. It was almost perfect. Although Lorcan didn't exactly make clear what kind of screams, of course. He knew the right thing was to ask more kindly. Though it still seemed creepy. He just gave up. Yassia, hopefully got the point. There was maybe a hundred men that would have kicked him in the knees. Or a place a little higher. As he offered her privacy as he went hunting. If Lorcan was the pouncing kind it be when one least expect it. Not that Lorcan is about to let you know what kind he was. We can leave that for another time. He certainly had all the time in the world. He offered aid for her ribs. He was sure his words were confusing, but he wasn't much of the lying type. Or well he just avoided certain things. No, of course Lorcan can lie? Again. We'll see. Shhhh. If one hasn't realised now, he's quite mysterious. He's not your typical prince with a lame superhero haircut. His eyes narrowed at her thanking the stars. What? Huh? If she was seeing stars this wasn't a good sign at all. Lorcan stepped closer to sit back upon the bed. His hand reached out to her cheek. His eyes checking her head. Showing the suspicion as he checked for damage he hadn't realised. Then took her eyes. Drew them in as he focused upon them with his typical Lorcan stare. Very similar to help compel someone. As he asked if she was feeling dizzy. Trying to scan and see for himself. Deep within her gaze. He wasn't so sure he was reaching in and seeing her soul exactly, not yet anyways.

Lorcan was no great and well adjust healer. That role was saved for his much beloved younger sister, Isolde. In this situation, she would know exactly what to do. A mind not confused what so ever and take care of this woman easily. Lorcan, well. He knew enough. As prince and heir to the throne, he needed to know many things and be able to rule knowing what goes behind everyone else role. How could he lead if he did not know or understand every and each role. He needed to lead by example and with as a great knowledge as he could process. As to shield any doubts that he knew thumped inside his heart. He hadn't the choice so much to step down from being king. It would be selfish to say it wasn't what he wanted. He wouldn't go down the blame road and ponder how he wanted a simpler life. For sure there is parts of that would be nice in his more hectic life, but if put in this simple life, he would just end up wishing have more. It was the same either way you lived. Always wanting something, you can't have. Besides, he had a very great desire to be king. To have such power. It was really just the matter of how you use it or in cases don't use it.
There was all the chances he'd mess up somewhere, but to focus on that would just make Lorcan fail before even attempting. He wanted to be the king Celidoine would remember as the more glory days and when spoken of throughout the lands of Britannia, Celidoine would be shouted from every corner from how Lorcan made this kingdom truly shine. For it wasn't so much what he would get out of ruling this kingdom, but what Celidoine could get out of having him as king. He did not want to be its biggest regret. At the same time, Lorcan wasn't wanting to be a king summed up in a couple of words. He needed to be not so well defined. For sure he wanted to be a just king and fair. But being always fair and showing nothing but mercy wasn't as strong as one would like to think it is. He knew there would need to be a balance with much firm hands and commands. To his enemies of course. He needed the security of Celidoine to be quite high. It wasn't so much to make all other kingdoms fear Celidoine, but to truly respect this kingdom. To not think so easily knocked down or to take over. For the threats were bound to happen, even more than expected and there be no real sign of that slowing. The world just wasn't so good and evil. There were vast paths of where it crossed. Which meant one had to have a keener eye especially to rule a kingdom. Trust was something spoken so highly about and yet it was on such a fine string. As was loyalty. Lorcan could hardly think any king trusted anybody or was always waiting for the moment they all turned.
For Lorcan it wasn't a matter whether someone would turn, but more when. It really just came down to being human. Lorcan as king wouldn't expect everyone to behave a certain way or otherwise chaos would find a way. Lorcan knew to expect that people would just be that, human. That people were mixed of grey, not so black and white. Not that there wouldn't be rules, but these rules be easy for most to mould to and wouldn't so much justify someone. but that someone would justify the rules. As his arms cradled the woman upon his knees as his lips smirked. Knowing such a liberty of a role was soon going to be upon his head, quite literally. Thus the need to venture for the day or well last night and drink himself silly. One really couldn't be king if they couldn't be human every once and awhile. They might lose touch altogether with their people and even who they are.
It wasn't so much running away. The problems or duties would still be there when he arrived. It was just need to refresh his mind. To find something he seemed to have lost inside. This world was large. So much wide spread and yet so easily, it can feel as though it is the smallest place. That the walls are closing in.
Whoosh whoosh. Came the slight breeze at his ears. As his eyes refocused again upon her. Almost seeing a glimpse as his mind came back. Kathryn, was caught at his throat. His eyes stuck upon her. This vision, so real. That as he stroked this woman's forehead and cheek, it felt like Kathryn. It was so impossible and yet, Lorcan was beginning to believe it. His lips smiled and he could have sworn, she did the same. It almost made his eyes water. He so wished for her to be alive now. These were the times he needed her the most. This soon huge change, but she had always insisted he'd do well by himself. It just would have made things easier, but it wouldn't be life if it was so easy. 'Don't seek me. Don't follow me'. As the image of Kathryn spoke, her voice was like a ghost, but there was just so much warmth to it. His eyes frowned confused by her words. Was she really speaking to him? or had he imagined these words as well? Why would he imagine these words? If it was Kathryn, Why would she say this? Maybe it wasn't meant to be taken so literal. He was listening and looking at a ghost after all. Even if it was a very beautiful ghost.
As for a moment a wave crashed loudly at the shore and it broke his gaze. From the image of Kathryn, but as he looked back, she was gone. Kathryn was gone as if she hadn't been there. The woman had returned to his hold. It caused Lorcan some time to bring his mind back into the rhythm os this situation. Just catching as her lips began to speak. Hearing the name of his kingdom role right off her tongue. As if she had never heard it before and yet said it quite well. His gentle hand caressed her skin. Not Kathryn this time, but this woman. Seeing and feeling the pain she was in. Just relieved she was alive and safe. His eyes searched her need to know where this kingdom was. His lips silent for a few moments. As his eyes looked past her, past the sands and into the seas. This was Britannia. Albion. His hand gentle upon her as his eyes returning to hers. As he admired how hers were searching. This need. Not really for him. He was sure this look she was giving all looks, she probably would be doing to whom ever found her. If only everyone was as charming as he was. He smiled softly.
"Yes, it is. Your in the lands of Britannia."
Lorcan nodded as he answered. That Celidoine was in Albion. That she was in fact in Britannia. By the sounds of her need to know it was albion, hinted she was on track as to where she was headed, but again Lorcan was really only guessing. It could be the other way around. Maybe she was seeking escape from albion and her crew didn't get so far. Wouldn't she know of Celidoine, then? He shook his head slightly it was beside the point. As ruler, he hope to change that and that Celidoine is quite known. For all the right reasons. They sat at the brink. The gate way to Celidoine. It showing only a touch of itself. There was plenty more hidden for now. There was the looming question whether he'll be taking her to these places. Hmmm, maybe not now. He could maybe move her a little in distance, he didn't want to risk a lengthy trip and she really collapse.
His gentle move of his hand hardly ceased as his eyes watched at the react to his question as to that she remembered. By the looks of her reaction she remembered a lot or it was possible they were resurfacing right now as his gaze was upon her. He could see the forms of images trying to take shape in her mind. Seeing a slight fear veil her face. Her body shivering underneath his touch. He wasn't so sure whether it was entirely from the cold or more from what she saw. Maybe it was both. His hand under her back moved to rub her shoulder and carrying her back and weight upon his arm. He took her well spaced words. The so called gist of what happened, but he knew full well there were lot more that filled these gaps. Then her voice broke and her hands came to cover her face. Was she really even saying this to Lorcan, now? Or was she just remembering out loud. Then the whimpering of this Mircea. He felt a lump caught slightly in his throat as she asked. He hadn't an exact answer to it, but his senses told him it wasn't a good end result. Not that he even knew who this was. A family member, a friend or a lover. By the sounds, someone close and someone she cared for deeply, and trusted.
"I have not scoured the entire beach. This Mircea could be near, but by the looks at how little remain here from the wreck. I would think the chances as quite slim... Once you've got a few more colours in your cheeks, I can help you look for this Mircea. I know these beaches, these lands, very well."
Lorcan knew she hadn't asked where Mircea was to Lorcan, but he answered anyways. There was still hope he could be alive, but Lorcan wasn't sure how high a chance there was. So he wasn't about to lie and think there was all the hope in the world. As he had spoke his eyes then looked over the beach. The beach was lengthy and if he had washed up it could be anywhere. If this woman had, then there was a chance, but Lorcan wasn't that hopeful. No bodies were in sight from where they were. Lorcan could aid her to look and find Mircea. Maybe it best he do it alone as his eyes looked upon her, but how was he to tell what this person looked like. Then he rolled his eyes a little for how many bodies was he planning to find. Its not as if its a daily thing. No. No. It was best to get her safe and well. Then figure from there. Although in all this time if Mircea is on land, he could have died. He could be dying now. His hand caressed her skin as she offered her name. Lorcan smiled softly as she gave it. It was a very fitting name. The quivering in her voice giving more heed it was best to take her elsewhere. Just as his mind took lead from this reaction and took in her name. His eyes and expression more concerned as she asked him to help her. Feeling that slightly aim for his heart strings. A couple for sure was plucked. Not as if he wasn't helping her anyways without her word, but it played more upon the mind when it was asked of him. He knew how hard it can be to ask for something, to basically admit your weak and need help.
"Yassia... I shall. You just got to trust me, for now."
Lorcan spoke low. Knowing it was maybe foolish to tell her to trust him. She didn't know him. He positioned her arm around his neck. His arm supporting her back and other hand supporting her legs as Lorcan rose to his feet with Yassia cradled in his arms. Drawing her closer to keep her more safe from falling and warm from the cold breeze. Her weight was easy enough for him to carry. He felt her body still limb a little, but it was a rather pleasant crashing into him. He did not mind in the least. He knew the slight thoughts that this mystery man sneaking her off to do away with her was a possible thought. No. She didn't need to worry about that or of much really. Not yet, anyways. He carried away from the crashing waves. The mixed gloomy sky with the sun trying to sneak through. Feeling the slight hit of the sunlight upon his cheek. He moved up the beach. Not seeking to carry her far. He knew where there was a very safe place. Upon the beach. Just a bit further and just a bit more further. As the rocks formed.
There was a small wood door in a a hill upon the beach. Well hidden and blended in with the scenery. Lorcan pushing the door open. Opening up to the hut. A place his siblings only really knew about. It was a very safe place. As kids they had spend a lot of time here. It had come a place that they had shared together, separate and with those closest to them, which had been very few. For Isolde it had been Tristan. Where she had healed him. At a time Lorcan had come here with Kathryn. It was a place that their mother had shown them. Even their father didn't know. It wasn't fancy. It was hardly nothing compared to anything. It was warm and inviting. As Lorcan carried Yassia inside. Setting her down on the bed with fur blankets. Motioning to cover her with the warm blankets to keep the chill out. It was simple. A nice decent bed. A fireplace. A table some chairs. Books. Some different herbs and seeds. Made out of carved stone. There was some still left over wood from the last visit. Lorcan positioned the pieces of wood in the fireplace and lit it on fire. The fire starting out small, but soon grew. Filling the hut with a very warm light and soon erasing the chill from outside.
"No one knows of this place save my sisters, we'll be safe here. I'm sure I can trust you'll keep this secret. Where were you traveling too? Somewhere in Albion? If you need assistance to get to where it is your needed, I can help, but first you need rest. Just relax. Was there anything you needed? More water or food? Clothes? I think there might be some my sister left behind... Are you badly hurt anywhere?"
Lorcan warmed his hands. Then moved to sit upon the bed. As he spoke to Yassia. His eyes looking between her and the hut. It seemed a good while since he had come back here. Maybe longer since with his siblings. He was sure he could trust she'd keep the knowledge of this place secret. Not that she probably knew where any of this was if she wasn't familiar with Celidoine, he doubted she was familiar with this area. He did. Lorcan knew the lands quite well and if he didn't he knew how to learn. It was how he learned of the places he had visited so far. It can be rather hard really to get lost, for someone always knows where you are even if you don't. So he offered to help her get where she needed. It may take a while in her current state. He could defiantly take her to the kingdom, she would need supplies as there was probably nothing she had left. It was kind of sad to contemplate, but she had her life Lorcan thought that enough. Although that was somewhat false. He couldn't say if not in that situation himself. He wasn't sure how much food was left in the hut, but the forest was nearby or well just behind. Then there was also the ocean full of fish. He wasn't hopeless at getting food. His eyes looked over her. He was sure there was nothing broken and there was no sign of a lot of blood. He just couldn't know for sure with what what like underneath her clothes. So he asked. As his eyes scanned over her. It seemed a little nicer to ask than just taking a look himself. Feeling his weight sink where he sat. Remembering the sweetness this place had brought. It was special. It was home at times. A connect of sorts. One that once king, he's probably going to have to give up completely. Hmmm, maybe he'll be able to find time here or there to come here, but it be harder to keep it secret. He didn't want to ruin this for his sisters.

The balance of life seemed so fragile at the touch of Lorcan's hand. Who was this girl? More important what happened to bring her in such a state. At the shores so close to Celidoine. From the fragments he saw in and around the sand, and the ocean. He was guessing a ship wreck. All the signs pointed to it. As his hand rested above her forehead. His eyes scoured the beach. It wouldn't be too surprising. It was a heavy storm. Either it was a very bad crash or it happened a fair distance. For there was not a lot of signs of the wreck, nor any other life that he could tell. Of course this was Lorcan guessing. Perhaps this was an illusion of sorts, but he felt her cold near lifeless body above his knees. His hand that held her head. His eyes that were making use across the beach. Came back upon her as she began to move.
Waking? He withdrew the warmth from his hand. The glow from his eyes disappeared. Instead replaced with his blue eyes easily reflected from the ocean sea. His hand helped ease as she coughed. Positioned her head so that any sea water left in her lungs could escape the right way. His left hand upon the back of her head. Felt the dampness of her brown hair and moved lower to her back. To help ease her coughing more. His right hand helped push her hair out of her face. Caressed her cheek just enough. Help coach her to wake. Running his hand gently across her back as her lips escaped a groan. Feeling her body still chilled. After the coughing seemed to ease, Lorcan drew her body back. Returning his hand under her head and another upon her face. Brushing extra hair. Watching as her eyes struggled to return to the world.
Letting his hand follow to her shoulder. Rubbed her skin to keep her a little warm. Just catching as she spoke. 'Mircea'? He shook his head. For he was sure this was a name. Who this was? He dreaded for her that he guessed where ever the rest of the ship fell, but he wasn't sure he'd be the right one to tell her. For he was sure the fate for this 'Mircea' was, well? Not so full of life. Just of water. His lips turned slightly at the thought, for though he could not foresee it, he knew his guess of pretty sure was true. His hands drew her closer as she began coughing again. Trying to ease the pain, he could see upon her and keep the chill from taking her. 'Shhhhh' his lips whispered. As he tried to relax her.
As he had pulled her close, he felt her waking up a little more alert. He withdrew his hold slightly. His eyes scanning her as Lorcan could see the girl was still quite dizzy. He could also read the confusion as her eyes began to trace his own features. His lips half smiled as her eyes looked upon him. Thinking this be less creepy for her. He was helping after all, but how would she know that. Which caused him to smile again. As if he was here to take her. To hurt her. Perhaps somewhere she thought it had been him, but surely she would have better logic than to think that. Why would he be on her boat or ship? If this be how she got here. His eyes slightly shifted, knowing had it been him probably would have planned the trip better and nothing would have sunk. Though this really wasn't the point now was it. Perhaps his still slightly hungover mind, which for the most part had forgotten these past minutes. He laughed softly, for he was sure he wouldn't be safe for the entire day. His eyes refocusing as her lips asked who he was. Who was he? Isn't that the all time question? Who are you? Why are you here? What do you want? Though really? When one truly asked this, it always made Lorcan think a little to over it. For who was he to say who he was, when he didn't even know. Or well at a time he thought he had. But who was he now? He breathed. His hand ran over her forehead with a smile.
"Lorcan... Do you know where you are? I found you on a beach on the borders of Celidoine. From the looks, you were coming by ship? Do you remember, what happened?"
As he spoke. He saw the fear streak in her eyes. In her need to get away from him. He admired this. This was a wise thing to fearful of a stranger. Unlucky that she was too weak and in her means to escape collapsed. Not that there was any reason to fear him. His hands catching her as she fell back down within them.
"Woah. Woah. Stay with me... There is no need to worry, your safer with me... Who are you?"
His voice came as he caught her. Filled with concern and need to keep her awake. From sleeping into something she may not wake from again. As his hand pulled her chin to meet his direction. Gently as his eyes upon her compelling. As he spoke to stay awake. His hand moving up to her cheek. Expressing she needn't worry. If anyone she was safe with, it was him. A hint of trust. For now. It wasn't as if he knew her anymore than she knew him. It was best to keep a slight distance, but he would be completely heartless not offering to aid her. To not offer a chance. His eyes frowned softly. As he asked who she was. Not really asking as he wasn't sure if she was even listening. His words escaping in a mix of a whisper. In a need of himself to figure this out. Who she was? Why was she here? Where was she traveling? His eyes focused as he wondered if her destination had be close. How was he to know? As he coached her again to wake her. To bring her around. Not wanting to move her until a little more sign that it would not hurt her.

Whoosh. Whoosh. Whoosh. Rang by Lorcan's ears. Feeling the cool breeze of the morning land upon his already icy face. Feeling his cheeks harden. His eyes opening to a blurry world. The colours of greens and browns becoming clearer. Yet, as his eyes tried to focus the forest above span a little more until it finally stopped. It did not help the feeling in his weak stomach, but this slight hang over was hardly anything. He at least convinced himself. As he picked up his limb arm, feeling the now dried clothes, feel slightly heavy from all the rain the previous night. Pushing his head back against the tree. Twisting his neck just right to stretch the aches, the slight crack back into place, but it did not help the full recovery. As his hand went to his dizzy skull. His eyes blinking as they motioned to his other hand which held the flask still tightly. Picking it up seeking more liquid, but with a gentle shake there was nothing left. With a not much expressive shrug he tossed the flask away with not much effort. It hindered little on his mind. As he motioned slowly to his feet. His hand regaining to his skull as his feet tried to give way, but with a hand upon the tree he caught himself.
Letting out a deep breath and feeling the dizziness slightly give way. Smirking slightly to himself that he had managed to fight it off. Took his hand back and took a much too confident step. Then another step. With a twist in his step fell back to the ground. His hands catching himself. Not overly impressed. He got back to his feet, as the fall seemed to wake him up. It wasn't a surprised the prince, heir to Celidoine found himself waking alone in a forest. Or really in many places. There was only so much duty a prince could take and it waited him when he would return. If anything these so called trips got him connected to the more common parts of the world, even if after a few drinks he was seeing more than just double of everything. It just helped kill the slight depressing thoughts. Badly brushing himself clean. He could hear the faint call of waves. The beach nearby. Water upon his face would surely help. Besides what was a couple more hours. What harm would this do? Lorcan smirked.
With a vaguely straight made path on his part. Walked through the shrubs and the mud. The morning was a bit gloomy. The clouds not so much disappeared from the night before. It had been quite a storm, although with his clouded eyes most things look more than they did. Even if mostly his memory was rather vague. The mud was making the footing difficult. Feeling as though he'd slip over any second, but as more he walked. The more he woke. The more easier it got. Until the break through the trees. The forest. To where it met the sands. The scattered rocks here and there. Colours of grey and dark golden sand. Signs of seaweed mingled in. He motioned through the sand. Feeling his feet sink just that bit more. He wore the same clothes. Dark pants and a white shirt. He lost his jacket along the way. His sword was still in place thankfully, but for the most part he looked quite unkept. His dark locks somehow not so much different to how he normally wears it. His chin prickled slightly at faint hairs seeking to grow. To be taken care of sooner rather than later.
It all seemed well in order. Although to be frank his head was still spinning slightly. With the beginning lapping of water at his boots. Lorcan kneeled down. Carefully as it did not help the spinning. His rough hands running through the water. Bringing it up in a good pace not to spill to much and ran it over his face, eyes shut. Then one more time. The water was icy cold, it stung his skin, but it sprung his mind open. His eyes tracing up to watch the sunrise. Despite the gloom and clouds, it was still mostly seen. Like a bright light behind the darkness. He escaped a softly laughter. Then his eyes fell upon some wood that floated nearby. Watching as a piece floated a few feet further across from him. To find his eyes fall upon someone. He shook his head. Why hadn't he noticed? It didn't matter, he caught sight now. Rising back to his feet. His eyes tracing around the beach and the ocean. Unsure as to what took place. As he stepped quietly over to where the form laid, where the water just lightly lapped at it. He bent down at the back, his hand reaching down to brush the hair away. Feeling his knees sink into the sand. It was a young woman. Who was she? Slowly he moved his hand to her neck. Fearing she was already dead. Pressing gently with two fingers, came a very faint thump. A beat that she was still much alive. He motioned more quickly. Clearing her air ways, then turned her on her back. Her body limb as his hand ran gently from her forehead down to her cheek. His eyes piercing at her faint beauty. For a second he froze out of an image of a ghost. Catching his breath, but the ghost soon faded.
"Can you hear me?"
His voice came to the young girl at his knees. As he gentle shook her to try and wake her. To try and bring her around. His eyes tracing her body. Seeing no signs of any bad cuts or breaks. There was a bit of discolouring upon her limbs. Bruises, but she seemed more or less intact. Though as he continued touching her to try and wake her. Felt how cold she was. Cold as ice. How long had she been here? He could only guess she had come across the sea. As his eyes traced the bits of wood. His eyes brightened at the sight of a water bottle of sorts. It was just a few feet. What luck? He smirked. As he motioned to receive it. Feeling with a shake there was a little bit left. Enough for now. Returning to where the young woman laid. His hand ran over her forehead again. His hand moving to underneath it. Bringing her head upon his knees as his hand motioned agin over her cheek. Trying to wake her. Bringing the bottle to her lips.
"If you can hear me? Drink. Just drink."
His voice remained low, but loud enough to try and wake her. Feeling her icy form upon his lap, underneath his hand. As his other helped the water to hopefully go down easily. Who was this woman? Where had she come from? There was little point even attempting to ask if there be no response, on the account she doesn't wake. His dizziness mostly gone now as his attention was for the most part taken. Feeling the sea breeze upon his cheeks. Still feeling her cool underneath. He whispered low some words, bringing heat to his hand then moved it across her body. As his blue eyes changed and shone of gold. Feeling his own skin run of the warmth that it ran of goosebumps up his arms. His glowing eyes ran his hand over her more, watching as she almost glowed of the warmth. He was sure it was working. Whether it help wake her up, he wasn't too sure. It wasn't much heat, but enough to help take the coolness off for now.

Yes, Majesty. Was the word of the day. It was the word most days if not all day. There was rarely room for no, Majesty. It almost took the enjoyment out of it, but the authority was something quite thrilling. So the doors opened to the castle, of Celidoine. The day was rather gloomy, and not just because of the recent events. it was even felt through the sunshine. Lorcan returned from his trip. Well, it was a rather short trip. Bringing justice to their rightful place upon their knees and securing the thriving prosperity of Celidoine. For now, the young king breathed at the sign of peace. The retreat into his castle. That sung like a fairy tale from the inside out. It held all the masks it needed. It required for the outsiders to seek hope, to believe that fairy tales could be true. For the most part the castle was joyous. For the most part since the crowning. The change in hands, to the young yet very worthy Lorcan. Yet, even in the faint cracks there was vast hints of the secrets hidden. This place hadn't always been so, so Joyous. It had moments vast from even hint at the word. His crystal eyes twisted in through a distant memory that only he seemed to recall.
As his suitors took his coat as his arms slipped out them. A faint smirked appeared from the remembered hardships he had seen and felt. It had very much shaped his mind, whether he'd admit it or not. Then with a slightly extra breath, the ghosts vanished. Rushed to hide in the walls, buried for another time soon. Perhaps visit him in his sleep tonight. They usually companied alongside Kathryn, the one faint light in his nightmares. There was little nights he wasn't woken up from the dreams being just to vivid. To painful. Even Kathryn's visits would bring back tragic thoughts in amongst the more sweeter moments, which were random. The past months she had visited him more. He couldn't figure if there was a reason for this. A reason at all. His head nodded to his men, he was seeking some time alone or at least time to unwind. Which in these days was coming to be rare.
Then as if the sunshine herself, graced him with her presence from the stairs before him. It warmed his smile to see his sister. As Linnadhiel welcomed him with a smile all her own. Lorcan could tell she had waited his return, still fearful he might not return. This part did guilt him, but he couldn't show it. He had to assure her that he would be fine, even though he could never really know. Linn was dressed in a silk hunter green corset dress, finely crafted. With her blond locks in curls and ringlets, running freely down her back, with a fine hat that matched. She was young and very beautiful as always. Lorcan wore his darker tones as usual. He took Linn's hand as he met her at the base of the staircase. His lips curling into a pleasant smile. Glad to be greeted with such delight after his return. Kissing her hand lightly, then smiled again.
"Good day, Milady. Beaming with such beauty as always. How has the course of your day been going?..."
'Oh, Lorcan. I am pleased to see you have returned more or less intact. Hmmmm, yes I daresay the sun is beaming beautifully, as always. But, thank-you dear brother, you are looking dark and handsome as only you can do so well... It has been rather still today. You know with all the preparations, I just don't know if I can be anymore of a distraction for Isolde... What about you? Was the trip a success? Did you work your magical persuasion? I have yet to see someone you haven't nor say no.'
Linn's voice beamed of her purity and light heartiness. Hugging Lorcan after the small affection to her hand and Lorcan gladly returned the hug. Just tight affections Lorcan wasn't so comfortable doing besides his two sisters or once Kathryn, but that was of a different kind of affection. His eyes worked with hinting of plentiful thoughts behind, but really not much was churning as of now. He took her arm around in his as they walked a bit as Linn mentioned how uneventful the day had been in and around the castle. His eyes traced the floor as Linn mentioned their sister. There was really little either of them could do, than just be here. Which with Lorcan's duties was hard, but he was here enough he had thought. Besides, Linn was always here. It was a little sad, but she was young. She had little need to be travelling, well much anyways. The need for adventure was more or less locked in each sibling. That need for something greater. Lorcan knew the mixed feelings were more the cause to Isolde. She hadn't been in love with Mark, but still there was guilt that she should feel more. She was of a very kind heart. Much like their mother. It was a tough thing to have, but it was also a very great thing. Lorcan escaped a soft laughter as Linn asked about his day. As she spoke of his so called 'Magic persuasion' knowing she had little idea how ironic that really was.
"It was rather successful. Rather quick than it had been expected, but yes all is well. I think it more my magical charm, Just don't tell anyone. Who knows where we'd be without it... Where is Isolde?"
'Shhhh, our secret then... In her chambers. I'm sure she'll be pleased on your return and for you company. Although I think she isn't going to be much anything else until, Tristan is here. I just hope it is soon. Have you any words of such?'
The sunlight leading the two down the hall a little more ways. The footsteps in toe. Lorcan smiled as Linn joked. For someone so young, she knew more than she appeared and she had a very good talent in lightening people up. She was a good friend just as much as she was a sister. A beloved sister. They stopped as Linn spoke Isolde was in her room. Lorcan's eyes then ran back towards the stairs as he nodded. Smiling still, his head nodded again as Linn spoke of Tristan. He knew the tightness of such a link between this man and his sister. How much hold he held over her. This was truly where his sister's heart laid. He knew much be the same in Tristan's heart, that all should come together nicely. Oh, so Lorcan hoped. He would give anything to see his Kathryn again, in a way beyond his wildest dreams. His train of thought cut short as was the gaze of his eyes, as Linn asked.
"I haven't had word, but I'm sure he'll come. Besides we both know if he doesn't, Isolde will go find him... Until then we just got to be here, how ever we can. Are you coming?... Are you heading out?"
Lorcan's head shook as his voice rolled it out in his irish accent. Adding hope to it as he was sure Tristan would come. Whether he'd just loom in the shadows and just gaze upon everything, Lorcan didn't know. How much had changed? That even less Lorcan knew. He knew very little really in regards of the relationship, but enough. It really was just a matter until which either one chose to meet the other, to keep an eye on Isolde. To just be here. For there was a chance. Lorcan. Linn. Wouldn't see much of her. If all went well with the reunion with Tristan. Wasn't it expected? Lorcan shrugged knowing even less. He made way for the stairs just a couple steps. His attention returning to Linn, two on one could work out for the better he smirked. His eyes then retracing her hat and clothes. Perhaps she was going out. It toyed at him of where, hoping it was not far, unless she was well protected.
'Yes, actually. But do not threat I am merely visiting the gardens. I have a lesson to attend to and I wouldn't expect the garden gnomes to swallow me whole... I'll return soon, unharmed I promise. '
Linnadhiel's voice heightened amused that Lorcan was surprised at this, but with his absences lately she wasn't surprised he hadn't noticed. She joked about the threats that could come out of the gardens. In which Lorcan rolled his eyes slightly. As he nodded as she spoke. Then she nodded her head then made for the door to leave. Lorcan nodded in response. Muttering to himself that an attack of such things wouldn't really surprise him. Stranger things had happened, but he couldn't stop her. The gardens were safe enough. Still as his smile seeking to exist as Linn was now becoming a young woman, the desires to seek well life was bound to come more heightened. Despite he felt Linn's attempt to hold both Lorcan and Isolde. From slipping away entirely. Linn would soon turn to her own desires and seek more. Lorcan would just need to be watchful as to how much and where these she sought. Knowing in the end there be little he could really stop the change no Linn. She was young and so precious, but she was stronger than she looked. She was smarter than most give her credit.
Soon after the midst of his deep thoughts and his eyes tracing the door. He made way up the stairs. Which he had graced too many times, he sure lost count years ago. The castle was much changed since he took hold. There was essence of life brought back into it, yet he still felt the same ghosts as he always did. The hauntings around the corners and which rattled at his chamber door at night. Feeling the sunlight through the window warm his cheek. Yet as his hand grazed it, it was icy at the touch. Making him stop, his eyes contemplating the reasonings for it. As his fingers dropped rubbed between the themselves before returning to his side. Before his hand rattled upon his sister's door. Three good taps. As the music from her harps faintly blew underneath the door, to play gently against his ears. Of an old song, a very old song. Making him stop short and remember a memory. Several in fact. Before these memories could take full shape. The door was opened. Sibeal stood before him. He smiled. As she asked him to come in. Lowered his head to greet her. It didn't take long before his eyes set upon Isolde. Her fingers like an angel running along the strings. Her eyes had been tracing the courtyard, though they now slowly caught sight of Lorcan.
"How are you, Isolde? Really?"
He smiled gently hiding the fact his mind working at the fact he knew why and where her eyes were really lingering for. He smiled softly. As Sibeal made exit. Isolde's hand quitting after a couple more notes. As Lorcan walked to where she stood. As she smiled to see he had returned safely, but he could clearly read the stress that had laid on her mind for far too long. Happiness seeking for her only a short time, but they were quickly killed. Either by Isolde herself or just from any thought that just seeking to undo her.

.:Name of Character:. Lorcan Crichton .:Nick Name:. Lor .:Age:. 21 .:Race:. Celidoinean .:Status:. Royalty, King of Celidoine
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:.
Lorcan wasn't blessed with the greatest height, but he more than makes up with it with his sly quick movements. Although how he presents himself would make him come across much taller than he appears. He is confident in his own skin. Which is pale. As is the rest of his siblings. The Crichton trait. Lorcan is the rockstar of his age. He's not the cookie cut King, but he comes out in style. A more unique, but cool style. His hair is dark. Very dark. Whether its black, its hard to say. As in certain lights it tends to confuse the mind, but dark it is. It is worn short and in variety of styles. Usually has hair falling in his face. Though when the formal times come he can slick it back, that's if he chooses to do it. He's hard to really pin point. As if eyes help the confusion with his electric blue orbs. He is known for his hypnotising gaze as if trying to manipulate and only ends up confusing most people. He just uses them very well to express his soul. You can always see a thought brew inside. He always has a plan or several. He's just secretive of what these plans are. He is built alright, but he isn't the biggest man out there or even probably close. He more then makes up for it with his smooth moves. Though he is stronger than he appears, but he usually just uses his quick speed. He dresses in a unique style and is usually dark in tones, complimenting his fair features even more. As he gives his most signature smirks. His appearance has a softness and a slight cunningness about them. He moves with pride and isn't knocked if one isn't pleased how he looks nor acts. .:Height:. 5'10" .:Portrayed by:. Ian Somerhalder

.:Personality:.
Lorcan is of sorts a brilliant mind. His mind is always thinking, never stopping. Trying to sort out who is who they say are and which are hiding a secret. Lorcan is mostly a kind person, but his thrust can get tested and he takes things personally. His closest bond is probably with his siblings. Their trust and loyalty is very hard to break. They know each other well, but each sibling has their own life. There are parts hidden. They keep even from each other. Or maybe they do know, just not spoken of. Their father was tough and probably the toughest on Lorcan particularly mentally. With that mixed with the death of his mother and that of his lover. Mixed with the physical abuse of his father particularly towards Rosabel. It has defiantly shaped Lorcan. The reasoning for his slight depressed appearance of darkness and has been in a rather depressed state, but oh he is one to hide it. Keep the outsiders confused. He enjoys a laugh and to relax. Even a king needs to. He is most loyal to his kingdom. To his role. This kingdom is his to keep it thriving and with everything Lorcan does is with great passion. He is maybe where the myths of monsters come from. With his looming in the shadows. His sharp movements. His mind playing.
He admires every part of his kingdom. Every part he seeks to keep it protected. His father was a huge supporter against magic. When Lorcan fell in love with a witch, there was part it was a lot out of revenge or more rebellion. He learned his ways of magic from the Lady Kathryn. The witch that bewitched his heart. Since her death he has much been changed. He was a much more quiet insufferable type. Shy. Kathryn helped bring out the man he is and he is more than changed. He is still with a compassionate heart in the end. He is just misunderstood. Only closest really know, but even then whether they fully know him is another question entirely. .:Strengths:. - Smart - Knowledge - Magic (secret) - Loyalty - Compassion - Music - Celidoine - Animals - Family

.:Birthplace:. Celidoine .:Family:. Father: Lamont, King of Celidoine (recently Deceased) Mother: Rosabel, Queen of Celidoine (deceased) Sisters: Rosabel & Linnadhiel † Princesses of Celidoine .:Occupation:. King of Celidoine .:Current Location of Residence:. Celidoine Castle .:History:. The current reigning king of Celidoine was born Lorcan Crichton. The 1st son and child to the former rulers of the fairest kingdom of Celidoine. Lorcan's early life was normal for him. He had a strong bond with his mother since he was born, but his father kept him in line of training from a very early age. Though he also had lessons with his mother and remembers them fondly to this day. When Rosabel his sister was born, his life had a slightly different purpose. The need to shield her the best he could. They had moments as siblings do, but for the most part as their father was more a strict king than a loving father. In public their father was more kind, but in private it was different. When their mother was a live she took the heat of it, but as the two kids grew older. The attention soon grew to them. On a occasion the aggression would make sight in public, though in certain environments. Lorcan did the best he could to try and protect both his mother and sister. He got punished for it, but it made his skin thicker. He was always a more using his words and his actions were weaker. His mother always expressed violence was not the answer and knowing he would just end up like his father, Lorcan didn't. Though his mind from a young age was changed. He grew more wise. Picking up traits easily from others. As he learned the traits of his father. The moments he would turn before he was angry. Lorcan knew the steps before they happened and his keen eye grew keener as he got older.
Linnadhiel the youngest of the family came into the family like a shining light. The light both Rosabel and Lorcan needed to protect. She saw more than she need to, but with the shielding of bother siblings she had a much easier up bringing. Linn, was merely 4 when Lorcan's mother died. So he made a point to keep at least the bond between the siblings tightly so Linn could have a sense of a real family. Also for Rosabel and Lorcan himself. As their father wasn't overly present.
His father kept a strong alliance with King Uther of Camelot. When the banning of magic was expressed. Thus was the same done in Celidoine. Those expected or known were put to death. Lorcan remembered the violence to this day. He didn't use to think much in the ways of Magic, it was much out of reach and so he didn't play heed to it. It was when a young lady he spotted in the garden's of Celidoine. She had come to visit from a kingdom allied from a far. From the moment Lorcan saw Kathryn he was captured. Did she trick him, spell him? His father believed he was, but he wasn't. No love spell cast. Just his true heart taken by the magical witch. It took him a lot of courting as his shyness got in the way, but Kathryn. She was not shy. She was everything beautiful in his eyes. Her hold over him brought the man out. Their love soon became stronger. She taught him the ways of magic and he was hypnotised in her world. Captured.
Until the day came and her magic was discovered. She was sentenced to death. Lorcan tried to get her free, but his father wouldn't let up. Believed he was under some love spell, his son couldn't love a witch. She was put to death by fire. With Rosabel in Camelot now. Linnadhiel was left to comfort their brother, but Lorcan withdrew into his world. Into a slight dark world. Learned more on his own in the world of magic. His desire to be king was now vast. He wanted to change this kingdom for the better. He had thoughts to end his life shortly after Kathryn's death, but the love of his siblings helped him to want to keep living. To be King became his goal. Putting his life into learning everything he needed to know. So he could work it his way once he became king.
Lorcan and his father along with some men. Set off for battle of some kind. During the battle The former king captured some druid kids they had come across with. He was planning to put them to death. Lorcan argued with his father. Finally after the length of a year since Kathryn's death expressed he still felt the same. The argue went on. Until Lorcan just smirked muttered some incantation. His father looked upon him in surprise. Pushed the incantation through his father's chest. To this day what exactly what spell no one knows, but it wounded the king. Lorcan hadn't the enough strength to end his father's life. Or maybe the fact it was his father it stopped him. Though the hint of the crown now a little closer. Lorcan was pleased. With this mixture of pleased and guilt sort of consumed Lorcan's mind. He embraced them. Soon feeling no regrets. For he had shown his father his true heart and in a way he felt Kathryn along side him whilst he sprung the spell upon him. The moment was of course private. When Lorcan called out for help. The men came. It was expected the king had a heart attack or some minor stroke.
Once back at Celidoine. The king laid dying. Growing sicker. Rosabel and her husband had returned at the news. Lorcan made arrangements and plans once he was king. He knew change wouldn't be over night. He needed to bring this kingdom into a new world slowly. He would soon make them remember the golden age of when the almighty King Lorcan, ruled. The great heart with a passion that brought his enemies to their knees.
