.:Age:.mid or late 30s
.:Status:.peasant
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:.a bit shorter than Merlin, but not by a great deal-she's a little on the tall side for a woman, but not overly so. Averagee build and weight, she's trim, but not overly skinny. Fair skin, brown hair and eyes. Usually dresses simply, typical peasant style.
.:Height:.I'd say maybe 5'7 to 5'8, since Merlin is about 5'11...Merlin was a bit taller than her but not drastically...she's a little on the tall side.

.:Personality:.
Hunith can come accross at first glance as unassuming and a bit reserved, but it does not take long to see that there's a lot more to her. She has a determined nature and a strong will equal to that of many of the men around her. She is content with her lot in life, yet she is not afraid to defend what little she and her fellow villagers do have. She has a gentleness about her, but a strong heart within.
She stood up boldy to Kanan and his raiders and helped rally the villagers along with the group from Camelot and Merlin, and was not afraid to approach Uther for help, even though he was not the king of her land. She is a woman who refuses to live in fear and isn't afraid to take initiative to help the people around her.
She has a close bond with Merlin, and it is clear that either of them would die to protect the other. She is proud of her extraordinary son, and willing to lean on his stregnth when she becomes gravely ill and unable to fight for herself.
.:Strengths:.
-strong willed and refuses to give up easily
-doesn't scare easily
-close bond with Merlin-they look out for each other. He values her even above his powers and destiny
.:Weaknesses:.
In this time and place, being a woman is a weakness of its own. It's more difficult to defend oneself and be taken seriously. She's also not physically strong, or able to use weapons anywhere near like the guys or even Morgana can. She has to make up for it with her determined nature and bold spirit.
.:Magic Abilities:.none
.:Special Skills:.none
.:Accents:. not that we know of

.:Birthplace:.probably Ealdor, but it's never been said.
.:Family:. Merlin is her son
.:Occupation:.we really don't know...she seems to help with the farming
.:Current Location of Residence:. Ealdor
.:History:.
Hunith may have grown up in either Camelot or Ealdor, but little is known about her early years. We know that Gaius is her big brother like friend and that years ago,she harbored the fugitive dragonlord Balinor after he fled Uther's Great Purge. Sadly, he had to flee again, and she never got the chance to tell him she was pregnant with his son.
She sent Merlin to Camelot when he became a young man, to let her brother like friend guide him and help him more than she could. Several months later, she had to journey to Camelot herself to seek help from Uther against the raider Kanan and his men since Cenred didn't care. Uther was sympathetic, but could not send help for fear of inciting Cenred to war.
Merlin went to help anyway determined to make Kanan and company pay for hurting Hunith, and Arthur,Gwen and Morgana followed him. Together they taught the villagers to stand up for themselves and managed to defeat the men. Hunith was also instrumental in encouraging her people to stand strong, determined as she was not to live in fear.
Later, Merlin unwittingly sickened Hunith when he bargained his own life to save Arthur from the bite of the questing beast. Nimueh appeared to agree, but Hunith turned up later, covered in boils and near death. Merlin returned to the Isle of the Blessed, enraged. Gaius tried to bargain his life, and Merlin his, but Nimueh was killed and the balance restored. We can assume Hunith recovered, although we haven't seen her again.
