After the moments of packing up her cart. Harriet began the drive back home. Only to stop shortly after starting, so best to give her horse Iris a drink before the lengthy way back home. Pulled off on the side. The river she knew was just through the trees, she was sure she could even hear the faint sound of it flowing as the day was nearing the end. Least for Harriet. The sun was still out, but it was closer to setting than rising. Plenty of time left to get home reasonably, do her chores and put food on the table. As her mind slowly pondered what she needed to do until her head hit the pillow, when her day truly ended and her hand motioned for the bucket in hand. Beginning the short walk through the shaded trees. There was just that faint breeze through the air, enough to be cooling but not cold. Wearing a simple white dress past her knees and nicely flowed. It was her better attire at least for her. Which she saved for her trips to the city. She also wore a colourful shrug. A couple of bangles from her father. Hair out, flowing and wavy. Mixture of golden browns.
There was never much time to relax save when hitting her pillow, so something as small as this little walk was needed. She enjoyed it. Even if this little walk from her cart it still gave her tiny raising of hairs upon her neck. Slightly watching over her shoulder as she finally found the river. She was near the bigger and she assumed deeper part. Rocks here and there. A waterfall close by. The water flowed. Not really paying attention as though relaxing she was cautious. Get the water and quickly leave. As her knees bent down upon a rock and bent to begin filling up her bucket. Shaking her head slightly sure she was being paranoid as she did relax a little. Heard something faintly, but it was rather lost in the crashing waterfall. Then nearly jumped out of her nerved skin as a fish had jumped and scurried off. Her hand grabbing her chest half heartedly with a soft laugh. "It was just a fish. Relax." Harriet quietly and awkwardly told herself after nearly losing her balance. The bucket slipped a little, but she regained in filling it. Began a simple hum from her lips as it helped to calm and sooth her. As her mind was then filling with dinner options and thoughts. There was plenty she was sure in storage to make a few things. Though having past through her garden this morning, somethings were in need of harvesting. Which meant a little alone time in the garden, she rather looked forward to the thought. Unless Tor came home soon and came to help. There wasn't a lot of chances through the day to talk to her brother, so those chances apart from the dinner table were always needed. Mostly spending with her mother and brother was what she looked forward to the most. Even if it can be a little worrying at times. As her hum had slowly began to stop, with a coy half smile she picked it up again. Beginning to pull the bucket back up. Feeling the weight heavier than it was as it scrapped against the stone as she lifted it. Finding herself slowly doing it, so more time to sit and think. Then also not think was also nice sometimes.
