Camelot was in total lockdown. It had been like that has soon as the word had come from the prince to make sure that everyone would be safe in Camelot after the attack from at first the unknown killers. Reports were coming in from the outline villages about a faceless killer that left people ice cold, like they had been frozen to death or something. All that was hear were the screams of the people it had killed. Now they knew that fire warded them off. It didn’t kill them, but it gave them time to find a way to kill them. It had to be magic; it was the only thing that anyone right now could think of. Since coming back from the outline villages they had found victims in, Camelot had over busy. People were dying everywhere and knights were now running around to make sure that every guest in the castle had some light to protect them from the Dorocca. That’s what they were, they were of magic and now they were attacking Camelot. It wasn’t like they wouldn’t use to being attacked by something to do with magic.
Leon knowing very well that Arthur would be busy with other matters, he had taken his rule of second in command and had started giving out patrols to the guards and telling the other knights to make sure that they checked on any guests staying in the castle that they were safe and if needed to stay with them during the night to make sure the lights never went out. Leon was use to sleepless nights, so staying up was no worry. He had taken up his duty at The Rising Sun. he had been to the tavern a few times here and there and he knew the owner pretty well, so it would be no trouble for the knight to take up his post there. Plus Arthur had send that a guest was coming to Camelot and she might be at the Rising Sun as they hadn’t come to the castle and the prince was praying that she was either there and on her way. Right now nowhere was safe with these Dorocca running around.
He would make sure that if he found this guest he would let the prince so he could rest easily and worry about the many other things that were on the prince’s mind. Leon was now on his way to the tavern. A torch in his hand as he walked the dead and quit streets, there wasn’t a soul in sight and went something did pass the knight’s hand quickly moved to make sure that if it was a Dorocca it would met his torch. When he finally got to the Rising Sun he opened the door quickly and closed it behind him. There were only a few people in the tavern, the barmaid, the owner and any guests that might be up stairs and a few towns’ people having a drink. Leon set his torch up on one of the metal holes along the wall of the tavern bring some more light into the tavern. “Orders have been given to make sure that no one leaves this tavern, it’s not safe out there for anyone. If anyone needs to go anywhere for any reason, please make sure to come and talk with me. Lastly we must keep the light going; it’s the only way to keep them away”. He said before he took up off his cloak and put it on one of the chairs before he sat down and ordered a drink. Might as well have one because it was going to be a long night.

There had been much talk and fright over the last day or so, and it had been all to do with the mysterious creatures that had taken to attacking Camelot and it's residents in the dead of night. Romily had spent the last evening keeping herself under the covers and clamping her hands over her ears to block out the screams that they made. Well, she believed them to be the creatures and hopefully not any innocent citizen.
Romily wondered where Arthur was and whether he was ok - after all, he was the one who had suggesting that she come to plead her case to the King of Camelot. It had only been that morning that she had been considering to leave, but had remembered her friend's words. Besides - it was now or never, and most definatly worth the shot.
She had decided to venture downstairs, where she knew the landlord (who had had bece someone to confide in, during the most eventful circumstances) would be. She needed to find out what was going on, and there was no way that she was spending another evening hiding under her covers. She smoothed her dress out and headed down the stairs into the bar.
Even though it was late into the evening there were only a few locals there, all of whom seemed to be drinking as though they would never have the chance to again. "What's going on?" she asked the landlord. "Lockdown..." he replied and pushed a drink her way, knowing that she would need it, "Sir Leon is refusing to let anyone leave - It's too dangerous Romily m'dear." He told her and gestured to a Knight, who was sat at one of the tables. "Orders from the King himself, any questions and you need to see him" he cocked his head towards Sir Leon. Romily looked over to the Knight who seemed as though he were lost in thought. It wasn't surprising at a time like this. The landlord looked at her. "I hope you're not thinking of going out there...that's suicide."
She looked back to the landlord and shook her head, "Had this have been a different time then I would have ignored you and walked straight out, but given the circumstances, I think it best that I should heed orders for once." The landlord chuckled slightly at this as Romily finished her drink. "Another two." she smiled knowingly, and took them once they had been poured, over to where 'Sir Leon' was sitting.
"You look as though you could do with this." she smiled down at him, placing one of the drinks on the table and pushing it towards him.

This hadn’t been the first time that Camelot had been in locked down before. There had been the time when food had disappeared and the water had dried up, Camelot had gone into total lockdown and no one was to be out on the streets after the time that had been set by the King during that time. And when the dragon had attacked Camelot, Leon had tried to make sure that people were not in the streets, there had already been many people hurt during that time and now it seemed like the same thing was happened. This way with Camelot locked down, less people would get hurt and the knights could protect the people of Camelot. So many had already died and they didn’t want any more to die.
It was hard facing a monster you couldn’t kill. So many knight had died trying to save the towns people. There had been no sleep between him and some of his fellow knights; he knew they feared that if they closed their eye even for a second they might be taken by the monsters. It seemed as of right now the only thing that kept them away was the fire, or any light for that matter, but it didn’t kill them. They need to find a way to kill them before more people started died. But that could take time and it was that time they didn’t have, each second they were trying to find a way people were dying, or running scared. The people of Camelot were scared, they feared whatever was out there killing their family members, friends and everyone else. The knight could tell this just by the way some of the people in the tavern had looked when he entered.
Really Leon just hoped they could find an answer soon. He hated seeing the people in fear, it brought back all the things they had felt when Morgana had ruled Camelot for that time. While he sat there waiting for his drink, he knew there was a chance that he could die this night or the next night after that. Every day none of the knights knew if they were going to live to see the next. Leon had seen his fair share of death. There had been many times where he was close to death only to be pulled back into this world. Death was no something he feared, his time would come and when it did he would gladly die with honor and fighting for the things he loved.
It was best for Camelot and its people that they lock downed the city. If they kept the people in, and in numbers then they could kept the lights going and less people could be killed. Each knight had been given a place to watch over for the night and later on more would be joining Leon at the Rising Sun. So that if Leon wanted he could get some sleep, which he didn’t seen happening any time soon, the knight had learned how to work on no sleep. But it would also give them more space to protect the people in here and if anyone for some reason needed to go out there or upstairs, Leon or the other knights, when they get here, could help them.
He looked up when a lady came over to the table and put the drink he more than likely ordered onto the table. He smiled and bowed his head, “Thank you my lady”, he said pulling the drink closer to him and taking a sip. Right now this drink tasted so good, and it was what he needed after all this was going on. He noticed that she too had a drink. “I am guessing that the landlord told you what was going on?”. He didn’t know if the lady had heard what he had said, if not he would tell her again. He truly hoped that no one really had any ideas of going outside of the tavern. He got up from his chair and pulled out another, “Care to join me, my lady”, he asked as he pulled out a chair for her, some company would be nice, but of course the lady could say no to the knight. Leon also had to remember to ask the landlord if the guest that Arthur had been talking about had come, he hoped for her sake that she was in Camelot and safe.

Romily nodded at Sir Leon's question. "It seems like not everyone is entirely happy with the situation" she smirked, looking at the locals who were more than happy to just drink as much as they liked - not caring about whether they were allowed to leave or not. Of course, Romily knew they were all regulars, as they'd been there every night since her arrival in Camelot.
Sir Leon at that point, stood up and pulled out a chair for her. She was a little surprised, given that it had been years since anyone had made such a gesture. “Care to join me, my lady”, Romily smiled down to the floor - not really knowing what to make of the situation and gratefully took a seat on the chair that Leon had pulled out for her. "Thankyou My Lord"
She gingerly took her drink and sipped at it. "How long do you expect this to carry on?" she asked, wondering whether a night with the drunken locals was going to be the best thing she'd experianced. Then again - Sir Leon had to endure being stuck there on lockdown, so at least if anything did happen, then he could sort it.
At least she was safe in the knowledge that she was with someone she could felt like she could trust. With Romily, that was hard to come by.

Leon knew that the town’s people didn’t like being locked out. But it was for their own safety that they say in doors right now. In else they all wanted to die from whatever was out there, because it was taking people by the numbers in seconds. Then again most of the people in here were the ones that just like to drink there ale. Leon liked a drink here once and awhile but he didn’t waste his nights down here drinking his life away, he had better things to do, he was after a knight of Camelot and the second in command he had to keep honour to his name.
I mean it’s not like Leon did this all the time, pulling out chairs for ladies and being like this, he rarely was around any women to be a gentlemen so when the lady had come over he thought it was right to be knightly and offer her a seat and pull it out for her, it was just something he had to do, not that he did it all the time. He smiles when she sat down and he moved to take his own seat. He dipped his head as she thanked him. “You’re Welcome my lady”.
Leon really didn’t know when this was going to stop. Tonight, tomorrow, in a day or two, maybe even months, until they found the answers on how to kill these things and where they came from then Camelot would be in danger for some time. “I hope it ends soon, I don’t care to see the people of Camelot being killed, but we have found no way of killing them”, he says to her frankly because this is true. He had told people he had met on the way here that everything was going to be fine and that the knights would keep them safe, but they were losing knights just as fast as they were losing town’s people. Leon hoped he didn’t have to deal with anyone getting out of hand; he was prepared for anything right now, whether it be the monsters outside or the people inside.

"I hope it ends soon, I don’t care to see the people of Camelot being killed, but we have found no way of killing them”,
Romily swallowed. "No man cares to see others lives taken before them, should they be enemies or not. I know that for one thing." she finally spoke. "However when it seems like all hope is lost, there is always a way out. A bit like an exit clause...so whatever is causing this to happen - there is no doubt that you shall find a way to stop it." Hopefully that would make him feel a bit better about the situation - even if it was happening right now. She sat back on her chair and studied him for a moment. She could see that he was fearing for Camelot - she herself was and she'd hardly been in the city a week! Trouble always seemed to follow her wherever she went. At this she laughed to herself. Trust her to end up in a place that was now in the firing line.
Romily took another sip of her drink, the screech of one of the creatures outside, causing her to drop her cup to the floor. Cursing herself she quickly jumped up and retrieved it, passing it to the landlord who had now hurried over to clear up the mess. The locals now looked on edge, faint screams now being heard from the people outside - not knowing whether it be their family or friends.
Romily took the cloth from the landlord, "Leave it - tend to your customers and I shall clear up this mess" she smiled gratefully and handed him the now empty cup in exchange for the cloth. "I'll get you another Romily dear, we all need a good drink to blot it out." At this the landlord gave Leon a sympathetic look and headed back to the bar. Romily quickly mopped up the spill and returned to her chair. "Im sorry...I wasn't expecting to throw my drink over myself in front of you." she chuckled.
