Waves. Waves. Waves. Swirling around as Laurelin floated in the midst of the ocean. Drifting no where. Was Laurelin frightened? No. This was peaceful. So very peaceful. There was a nice light out of the sun shining down, it hit her skin just nicely that it felt warm. Not at all burning. Her head felt at peace. Her eyes opened to a beautiful world. There was no lands. Nothing but blanket of water. With the waves lapping at her body as she floated. Floated no where. Yet she felt like she was at the top of the world. There was no more worried nor any troubles to be in suit. A faint sound of a sea bird came from above Laurelin. It started out faint and somewhat relaxing. Then it soon became louder. Soon Laurelin felt a peck at her cheek. She squinted her eyes and before long she felt herself being sunk within the waves. Washed underneath.
Laurelin then found her eyes open and awake from the peaceful dream. To be woken by Nuri with a peck at her cheek. Laurelin breathed in deep as her mind came back to the world. She had been sleeping within a small open place with in the forest. No shelter for she hadn't needed it. It had been a rather warm night. The grass that was beneath her was nice and soft. As she breathed she felt the fresh air invade her body and become wrapped in one. Soon her smile reached her as Nuri pecked her again. Laurelin patted the eagle upon her tiny head and then rose to sit. Not over thinking about where she was or where she was headed. It was mostly about following her nose or even incases Nuri's nose. She gently ran her hand through her slightly roughed out golden locks with dark strands weaved within. Not so much to try and tame her hair, just to bring it more to life. As her brown eyes sort around her. It was so peaceful out here, but life was calling to be lived. Laurelin couldn't give up that chance to go and live it. Not when it rang in her ears so clearly.
Laurelin smiled as she looked to Nuri, it seemed so natural for Laurelin to talk to Nuri as if she understood her and on some level they understood each other quite well. As if a past life once lived before together. Her tongue rolled around her spanish accent as it was probably time for Nuri to fly on her own and freely. Come back when Nuri needed to. Laurelin didn't own Nuri and never would. The eagle was much a friend and a companion for Laurelin, Laurelin wished to not cage her friends nor anyone for that matter. Her lips expressed a more broader smile as she spoke of a morning swim. For she knew just through the cracks in the trees there was a cliff not far with a water, begging to be jumped. Laureling didn't need to look so much for the water echoed just enough to be heard. Nuri chirped to Laurelin in response and Laurelin nodded.
Laurelin rose finally to her feet and stretched her nicely formed body. It was rather pain free from the night sleeping on the ground, then Laurelin was used to it. Laurelin threw a whistle to Nuri and then ran through the trees. Her lips grinned so happy to see such a beautiful day and this notion of just how good this feeling was. Letting out laughter as reached the cliff. Her body becoming thrilled from the quick dash as Nuri flew by her head. Laurelin stopping just at the edge. It was a fair way up. Instead of it striking fear in Laurelin the height caused a made dash of excitement through her veins. Life was all about enjoyment and this was joyful to Laurelin. She stretched up as she took in this beautiful sight. This world. This land sang so deeply in her veins. She could even hear the wind speak to her heart as if they were one. Laurelin loved the rush that built inside her before she jumped. She liked the feeling as if she could fly. Nuri had landed nicely upon her shoulder. With one last pat and chirp. Laurelin smiled at the eagle then reached out her arm to let Nuri be free. Hearing the eagle faintly chirp as took flight into the distance. Her eyes danced upon the loving sight of nature in its rightful place.
Breathing in some more. Laurelin's eyes regained upon the water below. The height. She closed her eyes and breathed in deep as she raised her arms up out the side of her. With her toes she lifted herself up and then simply let go. Let go of all control and become one with the air. As she swan dived into the depth below. The crashing water playing so deeply in her mind and soul. Laurelin fell and fell. Her body shot through the air like a feather. Before long her body crashed within the water and Laurelin swam within the pool below the waterfall quite deeply. As she held her breath and swam. She just swam. Feeling the water cool her skin and feel as peaceful as did her dream just moments before. She hadn't planned much, but she figured something eat would be needed. For now she didn't worry too much and just let it all come to her in strides. Today was a beautiful fine day and it just felt so good. Laurelin was simply loving life as everyday she was blessed to be upon this land. This land she called her home. She knew it by every inch or so she would like to believe. For the most part anyways. There was really no where else she would need to be. Then there wasn't one place in this land she could settle in either. For Laurelin loved this land from all corners. She had a long life to enjoy every inch this land had to offer. For now she just enjoyed as her body swam within the deep water. This was paradise to her. Simply Paradise.

After that fateful encounter with the bandits, saving the children by working alongside an unforgettable warrior woman, Percival knew the rest of his journey back to Camelot would now prove to be uneventful. He had come from visiting the grave of his family in his small village near Escetia after becoming a knight of Camelot. He thought it was high time to pay them his respects, to proudly show his father, mother and siblings the seal and colors that he now served under.
His friends had told him that his family would be very proud of him, and Percival hoped they really were. What had started as a suicide mission to take revenge against Kingdom Cenred had ended in a noble cause to help Prince Arthur rescue his father Kig Uther and take Camelot back from the clutches of the Lady Morgana. Percival’s father would be most especially proud. He just wished he could see the look on his father’s face when he’d show up all garbed in Camelot colors. His mother would have given him her warmest embrace, and his younger brother and sister would look at him with awe. Had they still been alive, Percival would have brought them to Camelot where they would forever be safe from ruthless kings and mercenaries. But of course, all of this where just wishful thinking now. They were gone, and he was alone. The thought brought a sting to his eyes, and the knight wiped them away with his sleeve as he continued on his trek.
His ears had caught the invigorating sound of rushing water not far ahead, and Percival quickened his steps towards it. It had been a hot sweltering day, and he still had a good few leagues to cover before arriving in the city. He needed to freshen up and get some short rest. But just as he neared to river, it was a cliff he saw instead. On that cliff, he saw a woman standing on the edge of the waterfall. And then suddenly, before Percival even realized what was happening, she lunged, head first, into the chasm towards the rushing water below.
“Nooo!!!!” he had managed to shout out but he knew it was for naught. She was plummeting hard and fast down the ravine, and there was nothing Percival could do about it. He had immediately dumped the load on his back, and slid down the path leading to the crashing waters below. If he was lucky enough, he’d still be able to grab her before the rapids take her away. What was she doing jumping off waterfalls like that. Had her life been so miserable to even think about ending it?
As soon as he had reached the foot, he took his shoes off and dived in hoping against hope that he could still get to her before it was too late.

She felt her body glide within the cool water. It was a fine start of the day, the sun was out, but it was nicely warm. The water had just that hint of chill to wake up the body. To refresh the mind. Her hands in front from her head as her body dived deep within the water. She had swam since she was a child, she knew how to use her body in most situation and she certainly knew how to jump off a cliff without killing herself. Although there was still that rush of a risk. Then what was life without stepping out of your comfort zone. One never truly knows until ones tried it. Her body soon fell horizontal underneath as her feet peddled enough and motioned her arms just right. As she swam through the lengthy pool. Not having to take much strokes as the dive had set her with a decent amount of speed. When was it? The first time she was set within water. She was born into it more or less. With parents being of the sea. She remembered splashing around with her parents and the other gypsies. As she got older wishing to stay longer and longer. She also had quite a love for the sea. She was still not ready in taking the trip over it yet. Laurelin always thought one day she would, but for now she simply wished to discover these lands. She was not one to settle down, but within these lands she felt some piece of a home.
Her ears heard the faint echoes of the waterfall crashing through underneath. She faintly heard another crash, but put it down to just the waterfall. She hadn't much an idea she wasn't alone. This was pretty far out there, unless there were other gypsies around. Soon as she treaded through came closer to the edge where it met with the land. Almost walked straight out of the water, as it started with her head and soon more of her body became clearer. Her feet pressed upon the floor just enough, it felt the roughness, but it oddly massaged her feet and it felt good. Oh, until that sharpness. 'Ouch' she muttered. As stopped to pick up her foot with a small scratch under her heel. Just shallow and just dripping a little blood. The drops ran off gently to fall and be lost within the water below. Laurelin let go of her foot and hoped the little ways left to the land.
Before she crashed upon ground at the waters edge. Taking a better look at the damage. Licking her thumb as to try and sooth it. Not too bad. It seemed it was soon closing. Another rub and she placed her foot upon the ground where she sat. Her body wet. Her clothes, hair and just everything. She bore the similar style day in and day out. That homemade look of things she had stumbled and put together. As most gypsies do. Today she wore brown pants. With a belt, with some arrow heads upon it. Her top was also brown that covered her womanly parts and left the rest bare. With it tied with a cord around her neck and back. Her wrists bore cuffs and some spare bangles. Around her neck also was a cross. Something she usually kept with her at all times. She ran her hand through her wet hair and shook it. Just enough to dry a little easier. Her eyes then trailed to something close by on the bank she saw from the corner of her eye.
Her eyes frowned slightly, Shoes? She wasn't sure if she should be all that surprised. Surely leaving shoes in a place like this was normal? Laurelin then stood again to investigate them more closely. Perhaps vacant she could put them to good use. It would save the cuts and the thistles. She soon stopped at the shoes. Bent down to pick one up. How odd? She thought. Then shrugged her shoulders. Perhaps the skies above were just trying to help. Or someone just forgot about their shoes. Laurelin then sat again. Pulled the shoe upon her quite delicate small foot. Of course her feet are tiny, she is after all tiny herself. As she placed the other upon her foot. She wasn't sure this was entirely going to work. They were almost three times her size. She let out a laugh. For this was what she would look like with big feet. Quite out of proportion. Hmmm, best she just leave them here. Perhaps the last owner had a similar problem or was coming back for them. Laurelin then pulled one off as she wiggled her toes in the other. Quite roomy, but maybe too roomy.
A main reason for her to not have shoes is quite the amount of walking she does do that they'd wear themselves out too often, it was just easier and less costly to just go bare foot. Just had to suck it up when the occasional prickle or cut, but its nothing one can't get use to. Just she heard moving and splashes from the water. Had there been another in the water. Perhaps Laurelin was a little far gone to have realised. Her hand fiddled with the one shoe in her hand, it had an oddly nice smell to it and felt well worn within her hands. As Laurelin gazed up to see what or whom had spied upon her. Just as she did she heard the faint call of Nuri above as she flew through the sky. Laurelin's brown eyes looked up with a smile before returning to look over the pool. Seeing what else could happen to come out of the water, that was not already meant to be there.

Percival swam swiftly and powerful under the cool waters as his eyes started to adjust to the surroundings. With powerful strokes and kicks, he swam deeper to where he thought the girl must have fallen, but there seem to be nothing there but the darting of small fishes and the occasional salmon to and fro. Still, he didn’t give up. He still had quite some air in his lungs for a few more searching. He just didn’t have it in him to just give up. He knew he could still find the girl and save her. In his haste, he had forgotten to remove his chainmail and it was starting to weigh him down with the water all around him. Vowing to dive back in, Percival started swimming up to get some air.
As soon as his head had broken the surface of the water, Percival heaved a deep breath. But just as he was about to dive back in, he noticed movement from the corner of his eyes, and he immediately turned to see a girl sitting there all drenched in water, wearing his boots! He wasn’t quite sure if this was the same one he had seen earlier as her hair was now all plastered to her head, her clothes sticking to her body. But of course, she had to be. And Percival couldn’t help the relieved sigh that escaped his lips at the thought that she was safe.
But was she doing out of the water?
“I’m a friend...” he started to say as he swam towards the bank where she was sitting. Slowly, he pulled himself out but didn’t take a step towards her, not wanting to frighten her. He tried not to gaze at her as he took her appearance in. From her rough-hewn look, the wildness about her eyes, it was not hard to tell that she was one of them gypsies. It didn’t click in his head until now that she was just going in for a dive and a swim, not to kill herself as he had initially thought she would do.
“I thought you were going to kill yourself,” Percival explained as he took off his chain mail, as it was getting heavy lodged with water. He started wounding the edges of his tunic to squeeze out the water from it. He would have taken it off as well, but was too gentlemanly and a tad bit shy to do so in front of her. She was a maiden, not a girl. From a man of his size, he had thought she was a little girl in her early teenage years. But no, she was a wee little woman, judging from the pronounced curves her wet clothes clung to against her body.
His eyes moved down to the boots on her feet. His boots! He couldn’t help the laugh that escaped him at the sight of her all tiny with shoes three times bigger than her feet. He didn’t see any other shoes, smaller ones, around so Percival realized she had none and was going barefoot. He squatted down to be level with her, and gave her a warm smile. “They’re yours if you like them,” he offered, his eyes twinkling with mirth. Despite the size, she seemed to need it more than he does, seeing as he had quite a few more at the castle in Camelot. But of course, lugging around giant shoes would only be more a hassle for her than a convenience.

Splash. Splash and a splash. Echoed to Laurelin from the pool before her. Her eyes ran over the surface, but she merely took it as fish playing. Oh, yep. There as a fish jumped out of the water as if it was magic. No. No magic. Just will power. Just life taking its natural course. As the waterfall also hummed with a pleasant sound for the mind. As her eyes then regained at her feet. The one that was still upon her foot was so warm and roomy. There was not much of chance she would take these, but she had the desire to remain in them a little longer. They had that comforting feeling like a big hug. Something Laurelin hadn't had in some time to come, but it wasn't something she was overly looking for either. A home? This was her home. Anywhere and everywhere. She slipped the boot back on, wishing to feel them both for a little longer. Although she was in need of food, soon. It had been since last night since she ate. With that her eyes came to the movements at the pool. Perhaps some fish?
A man. What? As her head shook. Why was there a man? It was no one she seemed to recognise. Her head turned in curiosity. As the man spoke of friend as he swam closer. She felt the hint of her heart race, not yet entirely sure why. She was nerved that he was a stranger, but for the most part she sat where she did. Besides he said he was a friend. A friend of whom? Laurelin wished to express. For if he was her friend she would have remembered. Yes, she wouldn't of forgotten him as his presence exited the water and his height loomed above her. Her eyes trailing down as he stopped before taking any further steps. She wasn't completely in another world where she couldn't tell he was just being cautious. Which was probably why she wasn't so much. Although his height whilst intimidating was also rather exhilarating. She believed him now, about the friend part. Maybe not quite to the extend, but there was something there. It seemed he was more the one frightened. Laurelin was more just frozen. Her body rather motionless. Her eyes were never ceasing from him as her heart seemed to beat faster.
When he spoke about her apparent death. Laurelin then relaxed. For it suddenly made it a little more clearer. He was the knight in his shining armour trying to rescue the damsel. Her eyes darted around. She was failing to see where such a woman was, for it was not where she was sitting. Not today. She gathered he knew in doing such a thing could have risked his own life for someone he didn't know. Oh wait he did say friend. So it must be so. Laurelin looked at him a bit amused and quite flattered that he had tried to help. Who was Laurelin to tell him how to or not behave?
"I didn't mean to startle you, I was merely jumping and falling, nothing I haven't overcome before. I am sorry you didn't get to catch me, it sure would have made the fall a little more pleasant. Had I known... Please don't stop on my account."
Laurelin spoke clear enough to this mystery man. Stating it was rather a normal thing. Not that anything really was normal about how Laurelin lived. Was she in means to change this? Not so much. She was looking for places in this world she hadn't quite seen before. Looking up at this man, she was sure he was a entirely different world all in himself. She wasn't one so much in need of rescuing nor one to really own up she needs it. She wasn't so apposed had he caught her, by the looks at how he is built would have been rather pleasant. In fact very pleasant as he motioned to remove his chain mail. Feeling her eyes run over him as his cloths clung to his body. His sheer size was just quite marvellous. Yet captivating. Whether it was down to his height, she wasn't so sure. Then he stopped with the removing of clothes. Perhaps on account of her? She figured. She smiled softly as spoke to him to not stop. Laughing softly. Not that she was entirely needing to see this show, but she wasn't apposed to it. Besides it looked like he needed to get out them more than she needed to get out of her own. She felt his eyes upon her. He seemed the respectable kind. Seeing something more here, than there was. She was a woman, a girl and she was no lady. She was woman ruled by no one save herself. She was free as free as she could be. She would prefer it than being tied to one man's dream, that had nothing to do with her own. Let alone love. For Laurelin to love another, that other needed to love Laurelin. Simple. Yet difficult. There was something in the way he looked down upon her in her tiny size. He could easily squish her if he so desired. Depending on the squishing, Laurelin wasn't so sure she would mind it.
Then he laughed. The man laughed. She then saw what it was. Her tiny feet caught within the beast like boots. She quite liked his laugh. It seemed to cut a little from this gentle shyness that wished to respect her. Although she doubted really this was respect, but he was at least kind about it. Her hands motioned back as he squatted before her, but found she wasn't so much trying to get away from him. More just not expecting his moves. She quite liked him at this level. It wasn't so far to look up to now. Although she wasn't apposed the the previous position either. She could see his face a little closer now. It was very pleasing. Laurelin smiled as he gave his own. Feeling her cheeks glow a tad red as her eyes themselves ran off in shyness. Well not so much shyness. She merely looked away from how his warm smile moved her. She liked how he was looking at her and smiling. It was caused for ok, some nerves of her own. They caused a nervous joy. Simple and pleasant enough feeling of gentle tingles. Oh. Her lips motioned as he offered the boots. She now knew that they were his and she smiled at his simple kindness. She did not know this man. From what she could tell was one of those knightly kinds. He hadn't any reason to act in such away. In fact it rarely happened. Unless he was trying to gain something from her. Though as her eyes traced his arms and other features. She wasn't so sure she could stop it, if that's what she wanted to do. His eyes caused her to grin a little more and her eyes to drift off. A friend? She rolled the expression around on her tongue. Probably. He was oddly sweet for just having met Laurelin and he didn't even know her name. She didn't even know his own, even if he had one. Surely a knightly man like himself had a name. What was it? Oh what is? The title. Oh um. She tried to recall. Oh, right. SIR. These things came with Sir in front. In a way to separate them into a group. Right? She shrugged her shoulders, it really was all myths to her.
"Thank-you. They do feel extremely warm and inviting. They smell good as well. I feel quite lost within them. Maybe too lost. I think they might prefer you than I... I'm Laurelin, by the way. I hope next time you'll be quick enough to catch me. For the next time I jump, I'd be more inclined to take you with me. That's if your not afraid to fly?... Even now on solid ground, are you still desiring to catch me? That's if I'm worth the hassle. I generally don't stay in place nor do what I am told."
Laurelin was very thankful for his offer. Even though good chance had they fit her she probably would have just taken them. They were shoes, not a baby. Not something worth a great deal more than a life. Yet still when offered it was of course more pleasant and Laurelin wasn't the kind of gypsy that took anything she wanted. She took what she needed. That line between need and want can blur, but for the most part she was sensible with it. Surely the knighthood would capture her for stealing bread here and there. That they're be more interested in catching the actual monsters. Laurelin was sure she was far from any monster, but she wouldn't put it past this man if that's what he saw. She smiled softly. Perhaps a kind monster. Who ever said a monster had to always be bad? All Laurelin knew was she was not perfect. She had sins that well she wasn't so inclined to tell this man. Not all at once. She reached out her hand to his as she spoke her name. She remembered seeing folk like himself greeting this way. She much preferred it to the kind that brought people to their knees. Or what was it called. The bows. Or something. She barely knew, but apparently was expected of ladies and so called Gentlemen. Which was why she gathered she was not one of these ladies. She wasn't so sure she minded. Even if it meant in their world she was down the so called ladder of worth. Maybe Laurelin wasn't even on the ladder. She'd prefer it actually. Not the whole being worthless. But really be free. She only cared to be worth a great deal to herself. To those who actually knew her. It just didn't hurt her how many treated her or mistreated her. Of course it wasn't overly pleasing to hear, but there seemed no reason to dwell on such things. Waste of life. Her voice played upon her accent. As her tone was mostly kind and slightly amused. She hardly expected him to agree to fly with her. Then she rarely agreed to anything herself. Or at least stuck with them. Promises were best left unmade. It went down a road so easily broken. Her eyes ran over him. This knightly man had come to catch her. Was he still trying to? As her eyes ran over his muscles. His gentle features. She wasn't so sure she minded. It just another thing to keep her. Catch her for maybe a moment if he was lucky. Hmmm, she had no where in mind now actually. Where she wished to go? She could be content to be in his world for a day. Maybe a couple more if he kept her interested and a decent pace. She was not a shamed to admit she doesn't do what she is told. She listened to the wind and most important to her heart. She wasn't some completely reckless brainless creature that so many think she is. That he might be thinking she is. She does actually have blood. She does actually have nerves. If they are pinched right, she does bleed and Laurelin does cry.

"I didn't mean to startle you, I was merely jumping and falling, nothing I haven't overcome before. I am sorry you didn't get to catch me, it sure would have made the fall a little more pleasant. Had I known... Please don't stop on my account."
Percival breathe a sigh of relief when she went on to explain that she was merely jumping and falling. It seemed it was something that she was accustomed to doing everyday, and somehow that made Percival breathe easy. He knew there were people who live on the edge like that, but he wasn't used to seeing their kind everyday. Hence, the inevitable misinterpretation when he saw her jumping off the cliff earlier. He chuckled when she said him catching her would be pleasant. She was small, petite. Catching her wouldn't be hard. He knew he could easily carry her in his arms.
When she told him not to stop, he wondered what she was alluding to. It took him a while to realize that she was talking about him taking his wet clothes off. "No, it's okay. It'll dry off easily," he replied bashfully, knowing well he can never take off his shirt and still be comfortable with a pretty little lady like her around.
The look she was giving him when he had squatted down gave him a weird kind of goosebumps. She was inspecting him, trying to familiarize herself with every bit and part of him. And Percival wasn't sure if he should be pleased or unnerved. He had never experienced a woman looking at him, inspecting him like this. His momentary discomfort vanished though when she started to speak about the oversized boots on her teeny little feet. He looked rather amused at her as she gushed on, talking like they've already met before. She had said quite a lot of things that Percival wasn't so sure which to reply to first.
"My name is Percival. It's nice to meet you, Laurelin," he said reaching his hand out for a shake, knowing he ought to give his name in return for hers as a polite way of conversation. He couldn't help but chuckle when she asked him if he still wanted to catch her even on solid ground. He wasn't sure what she meant by that. Is she hurt? Does she need help to move about? "Ummm...if you're uncomfortable, I can help you. Did the jump hurt you anywhere? Your back? You feet?" Percival may be the shy lad, but when it comes to damsels in distress, he at least knew how to act, how to help out.
She was thankful for the boots, but Percival knew that it was too big to be comfortable for her. Then an idea came into his head. "How about a get you some shoes or sandals in the nearby village? Something that you fit you and feel comfortable. Would you like that?" He wasn't sure how she would take that. Would she prefer to go barefoot our would shoes help? He hoped she wouldn't take offense, he was only trying to help her out.

Her eyes ran over him in wonder at his chuckle. Moving her head a little to the side and her eyes squinted. Trying to figure this man out. Before escaping her own faint laugh as her eyes dropped for a moment. He was the more timid kind, which Laurelin always knew wasn't a bad thing. It only meant when they had something to say it was important and something special would be at the end of it. Her words had caused him to maybe blush a little. All Laurelin could do was smile. She didn't see this as a bad thing, it was rather quite well him. She liked it. It meant he was like a flower that slowly opened, so Laurelin was left seeing each petal in all its glory. It may take a little extra time, but it would be worth it in the end. Because she would then see him. The gift that he could quite be.
All she could do was look up at him with a wandering gaze. As he soaked up her last words. Although he was still rather something with the wet clothes on. She smiled as he worked up his words. Not smiling so much to make him more uncomfortable, but to feel more secure with her. He had risked his life, he was entitled to be himself before her however much he wished to show. Though she couldn't deny would have been a pleasing sight to be seen, but then it was maybe like the petals he had inside. Just go slowly. She couldn't help smiling at the fact for some reason she woke to him. Perhaps she was still dreaming. It would make sense, generally this sight doesn't come out of the water and create such a movement. Or well lack of movement. Laurelin slightly blushed, she wasn't about to move off so quickly. Not from this sight. All she could do was see him. Who ever he was?
"Of course, but you would not offend me if you change your mind... The sun does seem to be lovely today, don't you think?"
Laurelin agreed with him, though assured him the offer was always there. Trying not to sound she had her eyes at the ready if he did change his mind, Laurelin blushed. Maybe a tad. Mentioning the fine sun as he spoke of drying off. It was a beautiful sunny morning. So perhaps he was right. As Laurelin leaned back her hands catching behind as her head leaned back and embraced the sun over her own wet skin. This was much better on bare skin, but she wasn't so sure he was even ready for her to take her clothes off let alone his own. As her lips smiled at the thought. Smirked a little as she was sure she'd barely get words out then. Then he moved lower to the ground and Laurelin's heart raced. Her head came to look upon him. She hadn't expected the movement, but she sure wasn't complaining. All Laurelin could do was keep looking. Causing her only little rush of tingles. She was getting the feeling she was not someone he probably met before. Laurelin smiled as she wanted to know who were these people that seemed so in line. Whatever the reason she quite liked him. She found it easy enough to talk given a right reason to. He had risked his life when he didn't need to, he was rather gentle and yet as her eyes ran over his arms was strong. Though watching him as he was amused by her words and even her actions. She could see a hint of something else inside. She wasn't so sure he was so much hiding, just cautious. Felt her toes curl within his boots. As if she could feel that bit closer since wearing something that belonged to him. As her eyes kept upon him unable to stop it. As her hand toyed at her hair in twirls with a simple smile as she didn't want him to stop whatever he was doing. She liked his smile and she liked his laugh. It was rather infectious. Her heart thudded with his name now at her ears. Which a huge grin soon fled her mouth. She suddenly felt he was defiantly a friend now. As her lips turned into a more simple yet pleased smile. As he then spoke her own name, which just sounded somewhat different from his mouth. Just very sweet. As her eyes shone from his words. As she motioned in a more easier seating so she could reach for his hand without hesitation. Feeling her tiny hand being lost in his rather oversized hand, caused a rush in her body. Sure he felt it escape up her arm and fly to her cheeks. Her eyes was able to see his own closer, his smile. Yeah, this was defiantly not a dream. She could feel him now. If these hands had caught her, she wouldn't of complained. She was almost tempted to re-enact so he could. Smiling softly as she wouldn't do that to him.
Laurelin soon forgot her hand, simply whenever he wished to let go as she was in no hurry to take it back. She smiled as he seemed unsure again by her words. There was a good chance he was catching her now, who knows? She couldn't play to much on whether she would have had any chance to meet him other than him rescuing her or well attempting to. Would he have paid her attention anyways? It was not in her to dwell on such things. She was with him now. In ways of being caught up. Causing him to wonder why she asked such things. Why she offered such a glance? Because she liked him. She hardly knew why, but she did. Save he was the reason. She tilted her head again as asked her these things about her health. Knowing there was really nothing wrong, but still it was this notion she was liking. With this all he wasn't aiming to head off just yet, so there was something here he liked, maybe? Laurelin smiled and motioned her hands to his boot and removed one. Where her foot she had cut. It wasn't bad, but she wasn't giving up the chance for him to attend to it. Not with those hands.
"The pleasure is mine, Percival. Did you come out here to runaway? I can lend aid in that... I am mostly unharmed I believe. Though I did step on that rock over there. If you care to slay the rock and make the pain go away, I won't object... I do believe the rest of me is ok, but if you wanna make sure go ahead. Actually I think my back is a little sore... Though then what about you? Are you hurt? I can lend aid if you like."
Laurelin responded pleasantly. Liked the feel of his name upon her spanish tongue. She sure repeated it over in her head. She couldn't help but wonder why he was out here. He didn't seem the gypsy type or one that lingered out for too long. Not that she was calling him scared. Laurelin put out her foot where there a small drop of blood on her heel. It barely hurt, but she wasn't about to miss this chance. Laurelin was least light hearted about it as she pointed to the rock which caused it. She would be interested to see if he aids at her foot. She didn't feel sore anywhere else, but when she said that she knew she needed to extend a little hope. Not entirely bluffing as her hand motioned to her back. She then realised he had risked his life. As Laurelin then motioned on her hands and crawled a little towards him. As she motioned her hands to check he was unarmed. Perhaps his shoulders. As her hand then moved to his upper arm. His muscle. Her hand wished to remain here for a little while.
"WOW!"
Laurelin only managed to express. It really just slipped out and she retreated her glance and stare of his muscle. As her hand motioned at how impressive it was. Coyly slightly realising how uncomfortable this may be for him. Laurelin smiled softly, but she wasn't about to forget that. Though she was liking this extra closeness. She remained her hand upon his arm just lightly. She couldn't manage to completely lose it. As she flinched at her foot being bumped upon her other one with the boot. She very much despite that accident rather loved his boots. They felt much like his hands upon her own. Like a nice warm hug, but they weren't something she'd easily walk in. It was so beautiful as he sort to fix this. Even if she hadn't had shoes before. She just looked at him in awe for some moments. She had hardly expected it to have come out of his mouth. She tilted her head. How many petals was that? It was very endearing either way. The main thing that rang in her mind was it meant he was coming with her. Though smiled for she wasn't sure she's ever had such an offer.
"I've never had shoes before. I don't know what to say. I wow, nor have such an offer to steal them for me. I cannot say no to such an offer if you wish to give it. Are you hungry? I've not eaten yet, would you want to hunt first or after? I will miss your boots, but they belong to you... Gracias, Percival."
Laurelin expressed to him shoes just wasn't a part of her life. She had survived this long with out them, proving she hadn't needed them, but she was just overly touched that he offered. It seemed so odd and foreign to her. If he's offering she figured it worth a shot. Especially if its Percival's doing. Though really any excuse to have him not leave so quickly she was up for. As she smiled. Her hand lingering to touch him and just feel in his presence. She would be rather content to just stay here and oh, enjoy the sunshine. Then her stomach talked. She had forgotten to eat since she had just woken up not many moments ago. Laurelin asked kindly assuming as hunting was the norm for her in ways of food. Though these talks of these new shoes. Meant the giving up of his boots. As her hands motioned reluctantly to remove the other one. She couldn't really use them, but she sure like the feeling of her toes inside them. He need them. His feet weren't as tough as hers. She put it down to. As with a bright smile with her cheeks pink. Handed his boots back to him. As her eyes sort to his that were so close and yet so far away. Then she thanked him kindly in her tongue. For the boots, for the new shoes and for everything else. That he merely did not have to do, but did it anyways. Whom made it almost impossible for her to put her eyes anywhere else.
