Guinevère stood behind Arthur's back, until he stepped to the side, and she could run forward to hug Morgana! She was hope and it felt good! Morgana spun them around for a moment and Guinevère was faced with with. She watched, unsure of the emotion on her face as he looked back at her. She wanted to tell him thank you, but after words around the campfire she was unsure if he was open to anything spoken from her.

Her heart was broken, and breaking more by the moment as the prince of Camelot walked away from her. Leaving her in Morgana's arms. Guinevère held tighter for a few moments, until Arthur was out of sight before closing her eyes and trying to hold back in her tears.

Pulling back she left her hands on her friend's shoulders and smiled up at her. "I was worried about you!" She admitted, not knowing if Morgana had made it tot he castle or not! She had only known the men had not found her. She'd slowed them down enough! "I am glad you are safe!" Her hand came up to touch the healing wound on Morgana's head. "Are you well?" She hoped she was alright!

There was something going on here, something much deeper than just the relief of rescuing Gwen. As she took her maiden into her arms and held her close, Morgana watched the features on Arthur's face; a mixture of pain and longing. What was happening here? What was going on she did not know about? She pushed the thought away, determined to know more later, spinning Gwen around a little, grateful, so grateful, her friend was safe.

As Gwen stated that she had worried for Morgana, the ward gave a soft smile. "Me? It was you who was captured by those bandits, I should have never left you alone," she shook her head. "I am well now, now that you are home and safe." she smiled. "I knew Arthur would find you..."

"Me? It was you who was captured by those bandits, I should have never left you alone," True, but Morgana had run off into the woods alone with only her under dress on and no weapon! She still had worried for what might have befallen her friend! "I am well now, now that you are home and safe." They both were!!

"I knew Arthur would find you . . . " Arthur. Guinevère tried to keep her face from changing, from showing any sign of how his name affected her, and she someone managed to keep her smile in place. "Yes, the prince said you sent him. Thank you! He and Merlin came in at the perfect moment and saved us." Us being Lancelot and herself. There was so much both girls needed to talk about, and the hall wasn't the place to do it. Soon they could tell each other everything that happened while they were apart. "I am so glad to see you well!" Safe and Sound and home!

"We are both home and safe, now," Morgana countered. "And I would not have it any other way. But what am I saying? You must be in need of food and drink, and perhaps a change of clothes..." she paused. "If you are not too tired, would you join me in my rooms and dine with me?" The brunette would have invited Arthur also, if it were not for the consistant feelign that something had changed between these two, and she could almost sense the tension.

Though Gwen's next words confused her, Morgana simply raised an eyebrow for a blink of a moment, before schooling her face into neutrality. Oh, she was not going to let Arthur get away with that!! She knew how he felt about Gwen, it was so easy to see! "Truthfully, I think that even if I hadn't, he would have come anyhow. Uther practically forbade him to come, and Arthur disobeyed him," she said softly, honestly "And 'us'? Who is this other person you speak of, Gwen? You must tell me everything!"
