The road to Camelot was long and ardious, and though they had not met any dangers, the young Prince's thoughts were troubled. He had heard many things of the King that resided there, but how many of these things were rumours? When a new King came to the throne, others tended to express hopes and prayers as reality - was the same true for this King Arthur of Camelot? His father had been ruthless, from all accounts. Sebastian had never met the late King, nor had his father before him, but they had heard tales of the man's hatred toward magic. and his utter stubbornness. The fact that the new King had married a servant should have elevated Sebastian's fears a little, but the more suspicious part of him wondered whether the man had done so to try and win the people over. It was not an uncommon trick. And there were more rumours about those two, though the Prince chose not to ponder over those. He would see soon enough for himself, and as the towers of Camelot's Castle began to peak over the trees, he knew it would not be long until they were in the mighty City.
As the horses trotted through the cobblestoned paths, their hooves making much more noise than Sebastian would have wished, he glanced around them, to see how the people reacted. Not to him - he was not their King - but how they seemed in general. The town looked fairly prosperous, and the people were smiling and laughing with each other... hmm. Perhaps the rumours of King Arthur were true. It would be a rare factor if they were. As they eventually reached the Citidale, the Prince sighed quietly in relief. Not relief for coming, but relief to be able to dismount his horse. He was not fond of the creatures, heaven's knew why, but he preferred to travel by carriage or by sea rather than horseback; however, it had been the easiest and most realistic way, thus he had conceeded.
Silently he pulled his horse to a stop as they reached the Castle. Seeing the great architecture made the nerves reappear, and he swallowed, clearing his throat before stepping from his horse, reaching for the sword he had had made for the King, and the gift for his Queen, holding them as he stepped toward the Castle. In front of him stood the King himself, along with his council. Sebastian swallowed, then took a slow breath, before handing the gifts to a guard of his own, before sweeping a low bow. "Your Royal Highness, I thank you for allowing me to visit you here today, and I congratulate you on the recent marriage to Queen Guienvere. May the Gods bless you both, and give you great happiness."
