.:Birthplace:. Village outside the kingdom of Escetia, Cenred’s Kingdom
.:Family:. + Father – Thomas (deceased) + Mother – Eva (deceased) + Benedict – younger brother, 15 (deceased) + Millicent – little sister, 5 (deceased)
.:Occupation:. Formerly the son of a carpenter, now a Knight of Camelot .:Current Location of Residence:. Camelot
.:History:. Percival is the eldest son of Thomas, a carpenter, and Eva, a lowly housewife. They live in a small village outside the boundaries of Escetia, King Cenred’s kingdom, with his younger brother Benedict and sister Millicent. Percival is his father’s worthy assistant, helping him in his job as a carpenter. Percival's strength makes him a valuable helper in lifting heavy stones and wood for building houses and building in nearby towns. They may be a poor family, but they were very happy. His mother, with the help of his brother and sister, tends a small farm where they get all their food and provisions.
Everything had been bright and breezy for the family until the evil King Cenred raided his village and took all that they had from them. His mother was sick then, and Percival had been away to buy medicines for her. When he returned, all he saw were the burning cottages and the dead bodies lying around. He found his parents and two siblings all burned to death in their cottage. And in his rage, Percival vowed to kill the evil king himself.
Lost and all alone, Percival lived life all on his own wandering from one village to another, making ends meet for himself with odd jobs here and htere. He was trying to find his way to Escetia to confront Cenred when he met Lancelot. They became fast friends, and when Lancelot told him he was on his way to Camelot to help an old friend, Percival realized that he might be able to find more allies there to help him avenge his family’s death.
He volunteered to go with Lancelot, and both were just in time to save Prince Arthur and his friends from Morgana and Morgause’s immortal army. Percival’s strength came in handy the whole time, and it impressed the young Prince Arthur. When Arthur asked Percival to call him “Arthur” instead of “Your Highness,” Percival knew he finally found someone where he could anchor his loyalties to now that his family is gone.
It was not difficult then for Percival to pledge his life and loyalty to Arthur when he asked them for it. Somehow, the young prince had given him a new purpose in life, and brought back the teachings of his father and mother to him. He knew vengeance was not a way to go, and he decided to serve Arthur with all his heart and all his might. He knew he could avenge the death of his family as a noble Knight of Camelot, helping the people and fighting Camelot's foes. He may not easily admit it, but he had always been in awe of the Knights of Camelot. His mother had told him great tales about them, and he had always pretended to be one when he was a kid. He knew he'd never be a knight because he was no royalty. What Arthur had given him then was more than a dream come true, and he would be forever thankful.
Living the fulfillment of his childhood dreams, Percival is not only happy to have found a new home but to also have very trustworthy and loyal friends whom he knew he could count on. He has found a family in the good people of Camelot, and he wouldn’t have asked for anything better. These were friends and family he knew he swore to fight for and protect till the end.
