Yes; because any man with blood pumping though his body was doing to turn away from the sight she had been offering then. He just watched her; knowing that she had to know how unlikely it had been for man who'd lived in the woods all his like to have the 'manners' to turn his back with a lady dropped her dress. He remembered that night in vivid imagines.
How it had been her first time; and he had tired not to hurt her. How her skin looked under the moon and--Did she just through water in his face? He was still for just a few seconds while staring up at her before lunging for her. He made sure not to spin her too quickly; or hurt her (especially in the area that carried his child). "That would be twice; that you've made that mistake." The first time it had been a wet shirt; or something soapy. It had earned her the same reward. His hands skimmed over her toward the sensitive areas and he tickled her. She was the only woman he'd ever done this too; having only ever seen others do it to children.

Isadora giggled at the look on his face now, yes, she did know he would watch her. She hadn't thought he would join her; that had been a surprise, one she'd ended up enjoying very much. She remembered feeling like she needed him, and being scared and excited, and finally trusting him for the first time. It had hurt, and she had cried, but he had worked so hard after that to make sure it was a good memory for her. And she remembered feeling safe and warm afterwards, and looking up at the stars with him for the first time.
She laughed loudly when he tackled her to the ground suddenly, well, if she had been thinking, she would've known to expect that. And she didn't stop laughing, because then he was tickling her and she couldn't stop laughing, even if she wanted to. Wriggling under him, she reached for his hands, trying to catch them to stop him from his infernal tickling. "Al-is-taaaair!" She gasped his name in between laughs, trying to catch her breath. He had her down and at her mercy; not stopping until she cried out his name. He did not miss the parallels of then and now; and did not miss what the next step was. He gave her a moment to catch her breath as he watched her and then he kissed her again. The fist time had been more of an unplanned moment where he'd been rather unsure of her reaction.
He had thought the kiss would soften her toward things; and he'd been wrong. He'd not tried to show her since but he was starting to think it was time. Time to show her something magical; and beautiful to make see how un evil it could be. It was idiots and fools who made magic have the name it did. Magic in truth was everywhere and touched everything.

She took a deep breath when he finally let up on tickling her, but she was still smiling. She put her hands on the sides of his face when he kissed her, then pushed him back gently, glancing around the secluded garden. They were alone, for now, but what if someone did come along? There weren't any locked doors between them and the rest of the party, after all, and this was about the most compromising position they could be in. Even so, she didn't want to push him away; she never had been known for making good decisions where he was concerned.
She reached up to brush his hair back out of his face with her fingers, looking up into his eyes. They were so blue, like the sky or the ocean or...something else that was very very blue. "I hope our baby has eyes like yours," she told him, she loved his eyes. She would love their baby no matter what it looked like, of course, but she liked picturing it.

Alistair stared down at her; as she spoke of wanting their child to have eyes like him. The comment was odd to him but at the same time he knew it was because he never thought about eyes in the terms of colors or shapes to be passed down to a child. It was odd to know she wanted the child to have something from him. Not a bad odd; just something he had never thought of before.
He also left off the comment that there were spells to make that sort of thing happen. Ones he'd never would use; even if she was open to the idea. Alistair would just let the natural magic that controlled both their lives take it's work in their child as well. What did say in return? Should he try to pick something of her's that he wanted the child to have? In truth everything about her was very feminine and soft; things that would not fit his son too well. He found it simpler to kiss her deeply again; and then help her to get standing on her own feet with her own balance.

Isadora wrapped her arm around his shoulder to help him steady her while he put her back on her own feet, before she released him. She leaned up to kiss him briefly, then pulled back to look up at the sky. "It's getting late," she pointed out, meaning they'd been gone too long. They couldn't just stay here all night; they had to go back at some point, or else someone might notice their absence. She knew Alistair wasn't looking forward to that.
"Come on, just a quick appearance and then we can go to bed." She promised, although of course she didn't mean together. Much as she might like to, they weren't married yet, and it was risky enough when they slept together in Gwent. Here in Camelot, she was hardly going to risk it, she felt they'd taken enough of a risk just by being here. Knowing Alistair, he'd take the risk just because he didn't want the Pendragons to think that he wouldn't. Bloody men.

Bed sounded like the best damn idea she'd ever had. He rather liked the idea of trumping the princess right under the Pendragon's noses. Breeding more of what they hated. He never would tell her; and he knew it was not even the main reason he would seek her out tonight but it was most defiantly a perk. "As you wish."
The expression was becoming more common with him; as it suited most of her idea and worked better then his short answers. He held out his hand for her to take; so he could escort her back tot he ball room. "As long as an appearance does not mean you're going to dance with some idiot." He didn't like other people's hand son her--especially the Pendragon knights. His temper only had so many limits.

Isadora smiled when he reminded her of all the idiots he didn't want touching her, and took his hand, putting her other hand on his bicep and leaning into him. "Not unless you've changed your mind about dancing in front of others." She teased, before she leaned up to kiss him on the cheek affectionately. She wasn't eager to run into the arms of other men, either...although it was a somewhat handy threat for when she got tired of him propping up the castle walls.
As they approached the exit of the garden, she pulled away from him slightly, sliding her hand up from his to hold his forearm in a more appropriate manner, and releasing her hold on his upper arm. She came to her senses as the foliage became more scarce and the stone walls around them more apparent, reminding her of where they were and what they were supposed to be doing. Damn Alistair and his uncanny ability to distract her.

Alistair knew that their were some customs they could not break yet; but if he did anything as king it would be breaking some of their rules meant to annoy the living hell out of him. The first one would be holding her hand. He planned to do nothing with her politics; and even more nothing with ruling people; but he was going to do many things.
Being a knight in her world had shown him some things he could do. Things nobles were too high up to take notice of; and were needed more then his opinions at whatever court they held. He knew well before he showed up that his main job as her king would be to keep her safe; the rest she could contend with. Whoever didn't like it; could come to him and complain. If they bloody well dared. "No change has found my mind." He told her; long after her teasing remark and his mind had realized she was calling him an idiot in that moment.

She wasn't surprised by his answer; even their dancing alone didn't seem to end well, so she wasn't expecting him to suddenly decide he wanted to twirl around in front of others, too. Well, maybe at their wedding. She nodded, now that they were getting back to the more populated areas of the castle, more people appeared, some servants rushing to and fro, as well as nobles coming and going from the main hall much as Isadora and Alistair had.
"Then we'll just pop in, make nice for a bit, then excuse ourselves. Think you can handle that?" She nudged him a little bit, playing nice wasn't exactly his strong suit, but he was very good at being quiet. He could just hang on her arm and look pretty while she did all the talking.

Her definition of a bit; and his were likely to be two very different things. She would wish to see people; speak with them; bid them good night and all but tuck them into bed. He would walk the room to make sure all was well then just leave. "As you wish," He told her; knowing he could pretend to be one of them for a while longer now that he had insensitive.
The insensitive being her bed of course; and the goal of 'tucking her in'. He lead them toward the large feast room; knowing that the heat from so many bodies pressed together was the worse part. Now that he knew she was with a child; he felt all the more reason to not leave her side. To make sure the idiots in the room knew damn well who's arm she belonged on. His. He didn't want her kingdom; her gold. He just wanted her.

She giggled at his response, she seemed to be making a lot of wishes lately...but she wasn't going to complain as long as he wasn't arguing with her. She preferred it when things went smoothly. Once they had made their way back into the crowded hall, she smiled and made polite small talk that was ultimately pointless but helped to smooth things over, and moved through the hall with a kind of easy grace that came naturally to her in social situations.
She paused for a moment as she met a certain man's gaze, then looked up to Alistair curiously. "Why does Prince Vortigern look as though he's plotting to smother you in your sleep?" She asked, wondering how he'd managed to make an enemy already. She hadn't left him alone that long! Vortigern was easily angered, as she remembered, and arrogant, rude, and he had a severe superiority complex...although what royal didn't? She looked up at Alistair, wondering if she ought to even attempt damage control.

Alistair didn't even have to look over at the arrogant little princeling to know who she was talking about. It was one of the few names he knew already. Most nobles he would not remember their names so quickly; for meeting too damn many too quickly tonight they all were the same person. Or he knew them by the 'fat noble' or 'talkative noble'.
"There might have been a moment when our pathes crossed." He told her; not bothering to look at the prince. He didn't care; and he honestly hoped the man died on his trip home. He was even willing to send someone to help him along. "He is very vocal in what he disapproves of." Which made Alistair disapprove of everything the man did and said.

Of course, of all the nobles Alistair would have 'run into', it would be Prince Vortigern. Isadora really didn't like the man, but the last thing she needed was to start a war with Sorelia because she didn't like him. Or because he expressed his unwanted and bigoted opinions around the wrong person...the wrong person being Alistair. Even so...the idea that Alistair had done something to put a bee in Vortigern's bonnet made her happier than it didn't. She bit her lip to keep from smiling, but then decided she had to know anyways.
"So...what did you do to shut him up?" He had been good, for the most part, listening to people, or maybe pretending to listen to them, and while he had glared at most people, he'd managed to mostly avoid insulting people. Except, it seemed, Vortigern. She knew she should be more concerned with fixing the situation, diplomatically it would be a nightmare, but as usual, she found Alistair's uncouth responses to people more exciting than abhorrent. She knew she could never respond to someone the way he did, but she liked to live vicariously through his stories about the bad things he did.

He was a bit more hesitant to tell her what he did; knowing how she felt about kingdom to kingdom relations. How she was disinclined to so anything that might hard her kingdom. Still; he knew that the little prince was a coward. Outnumbered he had still run at the common of the Pendragon boy. Who Alistair didn't think was still a boy playing pretend. After his recent conversation with the Pendragon he wasn't sure how he felt about him.
"He might have spilled his win cup on himself." Alistair didn't shrug but his tone of uncaring was there. He was telling her so she would not be unprepared in case the prince made an issue of it. "At the expense of my own hand." Meaning it's poured it on him. Something Vaughn had done to provoke a fight before. He has not apologized; and hell would free before he did. "He should guard his words as close as he does his back." Alistair was calling the prince a coward int he open; he didn't care if someone heard and told him. Let them.
The man insulted everyone and everything. Druids; the servant girl that would be this kingdom's queen; the low born knights that the Pendragon had made brothers. Something Alistair thought proved that Arthur was not Uther. He would not judge by blood. He was waiting to see if the man would let that follow to Druid blood.

She couldn't help but smile when he admitted that Vortigern had spilled his wine on himself, wondering if he really hadn't anything to do with that. His next words put those thoughts to rest, and even though she knew she shouldn't, she laughed, lifting a hand to cover her lips. She should get angry and scold him, she knew, but she found the whole thing far too amusing to even pretend it wasn't. Vortigern was insufferable, and she loved that Alistair had managed to get to him as much as he got to everyone else.
"You're going to have to tell me more about it once we get home." She smiled, running her fingers up his bicep affectionately to show her approval. She didn't stop smiling, even though she was a little concerned about someone overhearing them. It wouldn't be good if Vortigern found out that she was amused by her knight's behavior, but even so, she couldn't stop smiling. She was very, very pleased by what Alistair had done.
She cheerily finished her mingling and excused herself from the busy hall, letting Alistair lead the way back to her room. Once they were far enough from the hall that she wasn't worried about being overheard, she looked up at him. "See, that wasn't so painful, now was it?" She was still smiling.

"You're going to have to tell me more about it once we get home." Alistair wasn't sure what it was about women; or nobles; wanting to know the details of every conversation but it seemed to be something they cared about. As if every word where the important factors. Still; her reaction seemed pleased and if she wanted details he would summon them for her; to please her. "I doubt he with worth the effort nor story to tell but if you wish; I will tell you on the ride home."
Home. An odd word for him still; but he was growing more and more used to it. It was even odder that it came in the form of a castle and built on lies. Now that there was a child; he would have to be increasingly aware of the politics and happenings around him; so he could see things before they buckled. Be ready. "See, that wasn't so painful, now was it?" More then she knew; the room was crowded; hot and too many people were pressed too close together. "No; it was not bad." He lied for her; finding it easier to let her have her way then ruin the smile she had for tonight.

Isadora smiled when he agreed to tell her later. "Oh he's not...but you are." She told him, wondering if he realized why the story pleased her so much. He could be so thick sometimes. Now that they were further from the hall and prying eyes, she slid her hand down his forearm to take his hand again. "Do you remember when you broke Vaughn's jaw? After I locked you up." She reminded him, dropping her voice to a whisper so only he would hear.
"Do you remember my reaction when you told me?" She liked it when he hurt other men who had offended her; apparently, even when he wasn't doing it specifically for her. "I dislike Vortigern almost as much as I dislike Vaughn." Because there was no one she held more distaste for than her lover's best friend, and he knew that. But Vortigern was a close second.

Her reaction toward his breaking of Vaughn's jaw? She was complaining this to that? Why? "What did the prince say to you?" Alistair demand to know; knowing first hand how the man degraded people and said things to make them feel lower then him. Had the new king not been there; then their would have been a fight. Once in which Alistair would have been out numbered in; but would not have fought with the honor expected of a knight.
Not that the spineless prince had honor; for he was a coward and hid behind his title; expecting others to be impressed by it. Alistair had not bowed to his title; nor been bowed by his words. It was why he knew that when the little slug became king; he might have brought trouble upon her kingdom. It would be best if the man did not make it home to stir the trouble that Alistair sought to avoid.

Thinking back, maybe it wasn't such a good idea to mention that to Alistair; she might find it amusing when he spilled a goblet of wine on the man, but how amusing would it be when he actually started a fight with him because he had disrespected her. She shrugged off his question, possessing no desire to test out the limits of Alistair's restraint tonight. "Nothing worth paying attention to, like you said." She replied nonchalantly, she didn't like Vortigern, but neither did she care enough about what he had to say to risk starting a war. She knew there were others who shared his sentiments, they simply had the manners not to mention it aloud.
They were nearing her room now, and once again she moved her hand back to where it was acceptable. There would be a guard or two stationed outside her room, even if she was not in it, to prevent someone from sneaking in while she was out and finding a place to hide until she returned, and she didn't want them to see her so comfortable with one of her knights. A group of men passed through the corridor ahead of them, grouped around a very well-dressed dark skinned man she didn't recognize. But just for a second, she thought she saw his eyes linger on Alistair, before he and his entourage continued on their way. Isadora turned to look up at her druid. "Do you know that man?" ((OMG it's Asher!!! Setting you up for your thread with Vaughn, if you don't like it, let me know and I will edit! ^^))
