Colored Usernames
As many of you can probably tell, most of the user names have unique colors. The color they are, is the color that the user posts their post in. It is not compulsory to post in a different color. Some people choose to so that their posts can look different and colorful.
For example:
Arthur Pendragon is Gold Guinevère Pendragon is 8169AD Elyan is 006633
There are many sites that you can choose from which display multiple color codes. The following are a few:
[click the name of the site to be directly linked to it]
Those are only a few of the many sites you can look on to select a color. There is also many color options in the drop down color menu, which is located on the right hand side of your post screen.

Custom Title
The custom title is the text that shows up above the stars in your profile. The Custom Title is something that relates to your character, and so when your bio has been approved, the admin will PM you so that you can choose your custom title. Only staff can change that part of your profile. The color will be changed automatically by a staff member to which ever color you choose to post in.
For Example:
Elyan's custom title is Just follows his heart wherever it leads him
A couple of members have image custom titles.
For Example:
Guinevère's custom title is:
This is only permitted for members who have reached 2000 posts! You can either make one yourself or request one from a member.

Personal Text
Personal text is the text that shows up right under your avatar. Though there is no rule about what you can put there, some people choose to have a quote of their character displayed there. There is a limit as to how many words you can have. To make it different, you are able to change the color of it.
This is done by using the following code:
[/color] [color=######]INSERT TEXT HERE[/color] Instead of having a code with Numbers and Letters, you can simply type in the color you would like. For instance, it could also look something like this:[color=Red]INSERT TEXT HERE[/color] Proboards does not recognize every color that you may type in however, so sometimes it is easier to use a # and letter code instead because all of the hex color codes are recognized. As well, you are only permitted to put one color code in your personal text. If you try multiple, they will not work.[/blockquote]

Status
There are six different Statuses That your character can be. There is a section in your profile that says "Status" and next to it is a drop down menu with 6 options: Royalty, Nobility, Knight, Servant, Citizen, Peasant and Nomad. Feel free to pick the status that best suits your character. Their status should be relatively consistent, however it is understandable if it changes and therefore, you can change it accordingly. For example, your character may start off as a peasant but slowly gain more wealth and therefore become a citizen.
[/u][/color]: This status is for those who are Royalty. This includes anyone of noble blood and part of the ruling family in a kingdom, for example: Uther, Arthur, etc. In Camelot, there would not be more than a few people who would fit under this category.[/li][li] Nobility: Those who are nobility are the people who are extremely wealthy and own estates and land within the kingdom they are nobles of. They include people with titles such as Lord, Duke, etc. Anyone under this category are from a noble family. [/li][li] Knight: Those who are knights and serve on the army of any kingdom. They are men who have been knighted to fight for the crown of the kingdom they are most loyal to. They possess the title of 'Sir' and are very well respected individuals. For more information about becoming a Knight, specifically one of Camelot, click HERE.[/li][li] Servant: This group is reserved for those who work in the castle. It includes maids, cooks, etc. For example: Guinevère would be considered a servant since she works for Lady Morgana. Servants have a low status, and may also be considered citizens, however in order to differentiate between the two groups, those who work in the castle will most likely obtain this status as a servant. [/li][li] Citizen: This pertains to those who are living in towns, cities, or villages who are not extremely wealthy, but are not extremely poor either. They fall somewhere in between. Their occupations may include things such as farmers, blacksmiths, etc. They are obviously lower than nobles however are above peasants.[/li][li] Peasants: This group of people are the lowest in society. They are those who are extremely poor and have very little money and other necessities such as food and shelter. They may be seen begging on the street, or living in very small quarters as they struggle to survive.[/li][li] Nomad: Nomads are people who travel around a great deal, and technically do not have one set status. It includes characters who engage in practices of magic (ie: sorcerers, witches, druids, etc). It is also for any others who are not settled in one place, and therefore, do not have a status in that kingdom or region. [/li][/ul][/blockquote]

Race
When speaking in terms of this role play, we do not mean the color of your skin. Each kingdom or group of people are a race in the Merlin world and this will tell you about each one. It is possible to fit into more then one of these.
[/u][/color]: If you were born and raised in a kingdom, then your race will be that of your kingdom. Some of the kingdoms are Camelot, Gwent, Mercia, Cenred's Kingdom and many, many others. There may be names given to them such as Camelotian, Gwentian, Merican; and other times not. Everyone will fit in to this category in one way or another, but not everyone will fit into one of the ones below. ((For a modern day example: people from England or English or British. People from America are American. People from Canada are Canadian. And sometimes, you can be more then one.))[/li][li] Druid: These Gypsy like people are always on the move and in hiding. They do not trust outsiders, and see magic as something that is good and should be embraced rather then feared. They are extremely peaceful people, and rather hide them fight. [/li][li] Priest or Priestess of the old religion: In the old religion, or in the world of magic, these women & men were masters. They were the ones who knew magic in it's fullest and how to use it to their will. They were also among the first that the king sought out and brought down in his war against magic. There is very few of them left, thanks to the great purge. (As natural magic is apart of these few; you need admin permission to play one.)[/li][li] Blood Guards: These were warriors sworn to protect the high priestesses of the Old Religion. These men were strong and fierce fighters, and are still feared today; even as their numbers are small.[/li][li] Sorcerer, Magician, Wizard, Witch: There are other names given to these besides the one listed; these are people who know magic, but only though spells; or gifts they have been given. They live normal lives for the most part but are not as high ranking as the priest and priestesses were. [/li][li] Dragon Lords: Men and Women who had natural magic stronger then any before them, allowing them to even control the magic around them rather then just use it. Their greatest gifts were control over dragons, (which are creatures of the strongest magic). All but one have been killed, and that one's name is Merlin.[/li][li][/color] NOTE: We will not be permitting the following for OC's: Haflings that are part human part something else, natural shape-shifters, and individuals born with natural magic.[/li][/ul] [/blockquote]
