She is quite bold, despite the fact she can be reserved around company. She is hardly ever intimidated in the face of company, and knows how to handle the opposite sex. Though she is not yet engaged she is used to male attention, but usually turns it down, once again sliding off into the background. She is quite a sly character, and has often been told as much. She has little interest in those who don’t meet her incredibly high standards. Unlike most in Camelot, she does not agree with the current social mobility which is being enacted, and believes that the current structures, i.e. only nobles becoming knights, should remain as law. Roslyn is not a light-hearted woman, and can take herself too seriously sometimes. She likes to think of herself as a sly, sneaky and cunning person. Though the occasion ha s never really arisen for her to prove these three traits as of yet. However, Roslyn does know how to flirt, and put on an act for her fellow courtiers when she needs to, as she does not want to be viewed as she actually is in the courts.

She is quick to disregard those who are of a lower status to herself
She finds little beauty in natural things, and is materialistic instead
.:Magic Abilities:. None, and she has quite a negative affiliation to magic, believing it to be only used for evil means
.:Special Skills:. Roslyn is quite witty and takes great pride in this fact. Aside from being an accomplished horse rider and seamstress, Roslyn also plays to her strengths, and knows when to listen and when to speak. She believes herself a cut above the rest of the ladies at the court, and often shows it in her mannerisms and in the way that she presents herself.

.:Birthplace:. Camelot
.:Family:.
Father: Avery Griffin
Mother: Juliana Griffin (Deceased)
.:Occupation:. Noblewoman
.:Current Location of Residence:. Camelot
.:History:.
Roslyn is the only daughter of Avery Griffin and Juliana Griffin. She was born to parents who had a somewhat unhappy marriage. Roslyn’s mother had been married to her father at a young age for her dowry, and there was little love between the pair. Her mother was a key figure in her early life, as she took a care to raise her daughter herself. Avery never had much time for his daughter, and Roslyn spent much of her childhood trying to impress him with her knowledge and horse riding skills, though he still would not warm to her. Her mother kept her away from her father for the most part, and Roslyn spent the majority of her time with her mother throughout her childhood. It was her mother who taught her to sew and embroider so well. However, when Roslyn was eleven, her mother was struck down with a fever, from which she never recovered. Her father didn’t speak to her much after the funeral, and only saw her when he needed to.
A few months later, Roslyn went in to her father’s study to bid him goodnight, when she found him drunken, and unsteady on his feet. Trying to help, Roslyn entered the room to try and do something to make her father feel uncomfortable. As soon as Avery realised his daughter had come in he started shouting at her, and how her mother was unfaithful. Roslyn had wanted to run away, but she hadn’t, she’d just stayed there while her father had told her everything. Her mother had been unfaithful to him in the early days of their marriage, and Roslyn was the fruit of that betrayal. Her father had gone on to tell her that if it weren’t for the fact there was no other kin to hand the estate to he would have proclaimed her a bastard on the birth of a true born sibling. It was only then that Roslyn had fled the room. Though everyone still believes that Roslyn is Avery’s true born daughter, she will always now carry her mother’s secret.
That night changed Roslyn completely. Whereas before she had always been so keen to please, she now stuck to a more solitary lifestyle. She hated what her mother had done, and what it now meant for her. She also began to hate those beneath her, because she knew inside that she was no better than them. Roslyn knew that she could have easily been a servant, or palmed off to distant relatives if her father had proclaimed her a bastard. Though there is still little love between father and daughter, Avery has sworn never to reveal Roslyn’s secret, more of a matter of pride than an act of love for his only daughter. Roslyn never found out who her real father was, and she hadn’t asked to know either. Avery never proclaimed her bastard status because he feared what people would say if they knew his wife had been unfaithful to him.
Roslyn is still living in her home kingdom of Camelot, and expects for her father to find someone to marry her off to. Though she has received no offer of marriage yet, she fully expects to now that she is a woman grown. She can now mostly be found in the Camelotian courts, trying to see who catches her eye before her father puts pen to paper and sells her off to the highest bidder.
