.:Physical Appearance:. Long, Curly blond locks of hair float down Morgause's back, ending just above her derrière. The side's of her hair are usually pinned back to show her full face, but never has Morgause had all of her hair up at once, unless being stowed under her helmet. Her eyes are a dark brown, and pop out against her pale-white complexion. Ause likes to wear male-ish clothing, being pants with a tucked in white shirt, while she's training, but during all her other hours, she likes to wear red dresses with jewel embroidery. And always wears flat velvet shoes.

Morgause is quite the manipulative person. She nearly kills Uther using Arthur's emotions about Igraine to fuel his anger towards his father. She hates Arthur, Merlin, and Uther with a passion, but does have her softer side, Mainly towards her half-sister Morgana Le Fay, and her sons, Mordred & others. She is not the kind of person you want for your enemy, as she will do everything to stop your heartbeat.

Morgause is a very powerful sorceress able to summon an apparition of Arthur's mother and later reawaken the Knights of Medhir. From the time she could grasp the concept of magic she was taught it by the High Priestess' of the Old Religion, and is a very powerful Sorceress.

She is an exceptionally skilled swordswoman, being able to kill five Camelot guards with ease and was the only known person besides Lancelot and possibly Morgana who has managed to defeat Arthur in combat.

Morgause was born some thirty, give or take, years ago, in Camelot, and Smuggled out by Gaius to be given to the High Priestesses of the Old Religion. Also having to swear to an oath to never reveal his actions. Uther had to be led to believe Morgause was dead for these years as she studied magic for most of her life, becoming very powerful in Sorcery.

Disguised as a knight, Morgause returned to Camelot, killing five guards ( although I counted eight in the show ) to get herself into the castle to challenge Arthur to a duel. Despite the fact that he did not wish to fight a woman, Arthur agreed.

Morgause became the victor in their duel, but let Arthur live under the condition he come to her in three days and take up another challenge, whatever it may be. When he agreed, Morgause left to her chambers and introduced herself to Morgana, her half sister. Keeping her relations to herself, she gave Morgana a magic bracelet, which got rid of her nightmares and let her sleep peacefully.

Leaving the next day, Morgause told Arthur she knew something about his Mother, Ygraine. Making Arthur want to come see her all the more. Arthur, accompanied by Merlin, arrived three days later. She spoke her challenge, for Arthur to put his head on the execution block so she could kill him. She dropped the axe on the ground next to him, telling him his challenge was one to test his character. As his reward, Morgause used her magic to summon Ygraine's apparition, which told Arthur the secret of his birth: he had been concieved by magic because Uther wanted an heir and she had to die as a result.

Morgause sent Arthur off to do what she wanted, to kill Uther. But Merlin foiled her plans, and as she looked in on them through her crystals, saw them getting along. Morgause was angry that her plans had been foiled, but what she does not know is that her manipulations have led Arthur to hate magic all the more, leaving Merlin in a sticky situation.

Morgause later awoke the Knights of Medhir to kill Uther. She also approached Morgana, and got her on her side. She then placed a spell upon Morgana, binding her life to the lives of the Knights. She also put everyone in Camelot to sleep, with the exception of Morgana, Arthur and Merlin.

Merlin, after visiting The Great Dragon, learned of how to stop the Knights, and reluctantly poisoned Morgana with hemlock. Morgause, upon hearing her sister's telepathic screams, confronted Merlin and demanded he heal her. Merlin refused to do so unless she killed the Knights. Morgause chose her sister over her chance to kill Uther, and used her magic to kill the knights. She then took Morgana away from Camelot and saved her life.
