For Sable this meeting was less about politics and more about the emotions she was having trouble keeping held to her. She had never been known as the type who would--or could contain her emotions. Even as a child when she did not get her way she would grow angry. Spoiled yes but what Princess was not? It was only after her brother's death that she even tried to grow up.
He was sorry for her loss of men?! That was the first thing he decided to tell her? He'd murdered her brother!! Should not that be the first thing in his mind or was slaying brothers so common that he could forget one of two?
"Camelot appears to have fallen into a savage land since the king's fall. I was not surprised that we could not travel thought it." She told him, lashing out slightly from her own hurt. "Since you seem to have found so many new knights perhaps you should use them to clean up your country side."

Sable more then strongly disapproved of her father's plan. He was sneaking an alliance with a kingdom bordering Camelot's south (as they bordered it from the north) in hopes of starting a campaign to surround the kingdom. He was sending there with some knights and nobles to begin 'talks'. Sable knew the truth however, her father want a marriage bond to make the deal have an official ring to it. Sable was less impressed with that part of the plan then her father was.
---->Allot.
Especially the part where the knights and nobles dressed down to travel though the Camelot woods in effort to save weeks out of their travel. To her it felt dangerous and sure enough it proved to be true! They were days from either boarder, when the first battle cry sounded. Her horse reacted before she could as the shock of being her in first attack made everything seem distant from her--as if it was not happening to her but another and she was forced to watch. The horse turned so she could not see the first signs of a fight, leaving her sitting there trying to turn and see. Sable could only hear as orders were given to form a line, and stay tight together.
As she was of highest rank, the men closed around her in efforts to protect her. One of them reached up to drag her down as she was still looking around her at the men from the woods rushing up on them! They were dressed poorly leaving her to wonder if they were thieves, or outlaws! One of the women traveling with her started pulling off her cloak, and trying to trade with her . . . .trade? Oh!
That was when the shock wore off, and everything came louder, faster and more real. Apparently Camelot was not safe for anyone with her bloodline! "Stop!" She demanded of the woman, not about to let someone take her place! "Captain!" She turned to yell something at him, but he was not paying an attention to her only pulling an arrow out and taking aim. And the bandits were doing the same!
She turned to duck behind a tree as arrows started to fly! She knew nothing of warfare and fighting! Sable bent down and did her best to hide between the bushes and the tree, as the men started to fight hand to hand. There she would wait until it was over . . .

When Arthur bowed his head in respect, Sable lifted her chin in defiance. She was not going to bow before the man who killed her brother, no matter how much 'respect' was 'demanded' of them in this setting. She did not care in this moment. While she was not going to do anything overly stupid, like call him a murder to his face and risk getting her self on the receiving end of his wrath, she was not going to play the noble game and give bows and false greetings.
She did not care to ask how he'd been since they last meet, she did not care to give false congratulations on winning his throne back, and she did not care to ask how the kingdom fared. (honestly, she had just been attacked by rebels or outlaws or whomever they were! She could SEE how the kingdom fared)!!
Her dress was plainer then she liked but it was officially her only one. It was rose colored, and dirty from her ordeal. The thieves had the rest of her things. "Prince Arthur." Her voice clipped out, in a tone that was not a greeting. The words could almost sound like a curse if it were not for her naturally soft tone. Now they just sounded bitter.
She came to silently pause a few feet from where he stood; she wished she could just walk right up to him and smack him for the wrongs he had done her family. They had used to be friends! She could recall standing on a table and pretending to be locked in a tower, while demanding that Arthur and her brothers pretend to fight to get to her and save her.
How did you go from that, to this?

Sable followed the knight down hall and felt the fear in her belly grow. Despite the kindness the knights had shown her, she was not going to take their word on the Prince's since of honor. When they were children, they'd played together but the memories of that and then his actions later spoke loaded then the words of the men who had to speak highly of him.
She would give Camelot it's due for being a beautiful land, and city. The site of the rich green lands and the stone castle on the hill was enough to both let her look at the scenic sight and fear for her life.
Every since her brother had been murdered by the prince, she had not though of this place with out a hint of bitterness. She had thought they were friends, or at lest friendly--her brother and Arthur. However her father had came to her one day and told her the Prince of Camelot had taken her brother's life after a dispute over who was more skilled.
As she neared the doors to enter the grand hall, she squared her shoulders and lifted her chin to keep emotion from showing. When the doors opened she locked her eyes before her (Yet in truth saw nothing) before walking with even and sharp steps to into the room. Her hands balled at her side, and even while she tried to keep her face emotionless one could see their was anger and fear there.

| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |
.:Birthplace:. Sorrayn .:Family:. Father; Odin|Mother; Lorraine|Brother; Braden (Deceased)|Brother; Kendell .:Current Location of Residence:. Sorrayn .:History:. Sable was the born just two years after her elder brother, and five years before her youngest brother. She would be the only daughter to be give to the king and his wife, and honestly--Sable would not have it any other way. She was rather close to her elder brother Braden when they were younger however around the time she turned eight the both found something that they liked a bit better then playing hide and seek with a sibling or forcing visiting nobles to play a game of knights and damsel-in-distress.
Girls While her elder brother started noticing them in a more psychical way, Sable learned of them in a more emotional way. She learned she was the one with influence to control the masses. While she never overly abused the power for her father had very strict rules on how his children behaved--she did rather enjoy it.
Over the years, Sable would mellow but still be the same spoiled but kind child she had been. She was kind to others as long as she was getting her way.
Everything changed when her brother was murdered. She had never truly followed the court's politics until that day. The only thing her father would say about it was that is was a grave injustice and he would see it corrected before he died. Her mother however would curse the name Pendragon, and then turn to large amounts of wine to console her self.
Which left the job as official host of the kingdom, Sable's. She'd grown up in the years since her brother (the heir's) murder. While still spoiled and emotional; she was learning more of the real world and less of the world that she'd lived in. One such event came when int he middle of the night, a nameless, faceless person somehow got past the guards and stole clippings of her hair and drops of her blood. She never learned why.
Years later she would also hear of when her brother's murder's kingdom was overtaken and under a new rule. Sable honestly did not care about a little civil war but her father seemed to take great pride in their down fall. He used his men to attack the edges of Camelot in effort to expand his lands while the main kingdom fought among it's selves.
When the time came for her father to marry her off, he picked a kingdom that was on Camelot's southern border in efforts to (by proxy) start surrounding his foes.
Sable's story truly begins there . . . .
