It was clear that Avyrus was taking pride in the compliment that the Prince of Camelot offered his Kingdom. It had certainly been a while since he'd heard those words. . . the last time he had had been when he was 14. It made him want to regain Aerulis from the raiders. It appeared that Arthur did not know that his Kingdom basically didn't exist anymore, and he wanted to keep it that way. It would amke him, his family, and his knights look weaker than they already were.
"Not too different," he began. Lies. Lies. Lies. It was far more different than Camelot was, mostly concerning the topic of magic. "We are peaceful, strong, and more importantly we make wise decisions concerning the kingdom."

It wasn't really that he was disinterested, but more so. . . anxious. After all, most of these people were his enemies. Who wouldn't be anxious? He couldn't say he had started to regret coming here though. "Aerulis?" He asked. It was true, Avyrus did take pride in his Kingdom. But he had forgotten just how much. So it was hard to explain it without it being brief. "I take great pride in it. We're one of the strongest in our area." He would explain that, but leave out the fact that the whole point of Aerulis was to welcome magic.
"My father and mother, King Aeolus and Queen Keeva," he added with a proud smirk. "They founded Aerulis." Still, a lot of major details were being left out.

Well, it seemed he did not have to find the Prince. For before he knew it, Avyrus was being greeted by him. He made no vocal acknowledgment of the Prince of Camelot, but he did dip his head. It was hard to notice, but it was there. "Yes, I am enjoying Camelot thus far," he looked calmly off to the side and then back to the Prince again. Well, there was nothing to talk about really, and Avy didn't enjoy vocalizing with others that greatly anyway. He'd let Arthur 'talk the night away' in this conversation. Though Avyrus couldn't decide anything yet, whether the Prince of Camelot was just going to unintentionally annoy him or prove to be a calm noble man. He couldn't exactly tell at this point.
[ Sorry about the shortness of this post =( But do you mind if I make this the length of my posts from now on? Or just generally? It would make me more active ]

So here he was. Camelot. In ruins, at least in the sense of a horrible analogy. Magic wasn't allowed to be used here, the consequence being death. Lucky for him no one seemed to be familiar with Aerulis, his birth Kingdom. The place he was, right now, entitled to become King. But those days were over, and he was a traveler. Despite his hate for the royal family of Camelot, he still had his seal of Royalty with him and was visiting the court. He had a bad feeling about it, hanging nearby his enemies. . . but as long as they didn't see him as a threat, he would be perfectly fine.
There was a feast that night, supposedly to welcome him to Camelot. . . or something of the like. The things that would happen when one was of royalty. He noted that the King, Uther Pendragon, was present at the feast. What else to expect? He was the King. A man he hated with a burning passion. Prince Avyrus knew he had a son, somewhere. Where was he? His blue eyes searched the hall almost impatiently. It would be best to start a conversation with someone, to give himself a normal first impression on everyone. . . and what better than Prince to Prince?

.:Nick Name:. Avy (prefers no nick names)

.:Race:. Aerulian

Long, flowing and wavy jet-black hair with icy blue eyes. Wears the same clothes as the common man, although at times wears snake skin, both trousers and shirts.
.:Height:. 5"7'
.:Portrayed by:. James Caviezel
| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:.
Aside from being stern and set in his ways, Avyrus is a very friendly man. He is determined to give everyone a good impression, and so strives to make wise decisions and use magic only for good. He is only willing to listen to advice from his trusted friends, people in whom he has not seen in years since the raid.
Avyrus would die to save his kind. If he comes to a decision there are not many that can change his mind. He is very stubborn, to put it at the least. But he is a good man, you just have to be friendly and not do anything that would make him suspicous. Then he'll open up to you. He has a passionate hate for anyone who murders his kind; specifically King Uther Pendragon of Camelot. But doesn't hate his son as much.
.:Strengths:.
- Swordfighting
- Learning magic
- Patience
.:Weaknesses:.
- Extremely short temper, even though it complicts with his "Patience" trait. It's on and off, really. He's mostly friendly and patient though.
- Desire for revenge, if needed.
- Disrespectful to people he doesn't like. This can be weakness, because it wouldn't help the situation.
.:Magic Abilities:.
Avyrus is able to use magic, but this ability is not inherited from anyone in his family. All he has is the ability to learn spells and other elements of magic quicker than some.
.:Special Skills:.
His most common magic skill (in which he learned himself, nothing natural) is the ability to create wind out of nowhere. Nothing impressive.
.:Accents:. British [Lower Class]
| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |
.:Birthplace:. Kingdom of Aerulis
.:Family:. King Aeolus Dragomir (Father/deceased) and Queen Keeva Dragomir (Mother/deceased).
.:Occupation:. Nothing. He's jobless (x3)
.:Current Location of Residence:. Somewhere in Camelot
.:History:.
Prince Avyrus Dragomir was born in a kingdom that was filled with sorcerors, druids, and other magical folk. He was the prince of the kingdom, son of King Aeolus and Queen Keeva Dragomir. When he was 14 the kingdom was raided and burned. Many were unfortunate and did not survive the raid, but ones who did live took shelter in the forests outside of Aerulis, a couple of kingdoms north from Gwent. His parents had survived, but they said to Avyrus that he must go and start a new life, with a new last name. Because the raiders had taken over the kingdom of Aerulis and would stop at nothing to kill him.
And so, trusting his parents' advice, he left them and went on to explore the kingdoms. . . all the while trying to think of a good new last name. He couldn't think of anything, but who would he be talking to closely enough to say his last name? He didn't change it, instead he just kept to himself and let his hair grow a bit longer. As the long years passed by Avyrus began to forget about Aerulis and his heritage.
He went out to explore the kingdoms. After two long years of exploring, he arrived at Camelot.
