He looked up at her and gave her a soft smile at the invitation of him staying with her. Thought made him a little giddy but would she really want a little boy living with her, children were a big responsibility but of course he did know how to take care of himself he knew how to fend for food, bathe and clothe himself so he was good in a lot of the areas, but alas he was still a child who did want to have fun and play in the fields but seeing as he is hunted so much that did not really happen with him. There were just so many ups and downs to having a true home one he could come back to over and over again one with a friend. Mordred found a great bond within Morgana something he had not shared within anyone ever it was almost greater than a mothers bond with her child... If that was possible or course he was not sure seeing as he did not have a mother nor did he know the protection, love, and care of one either. Morgana was the closest thing he had and he cherished it greatly. "I may stay." He beamed though he still was not sure.
Morgana granted him permission to speak but he was a little iffy on it he wanted to or not, he did not want to bring bad memories back or make her angry with him but he wanted to know. What ever the outcome might be it would not change anything in his eyes and he would always stick by Morgana's side to help her as she once helped him. Morgana saved his life and he forever was in her debt. "Why did you try to take over Camelot?" Mordred just spit it out and looked up at her. His question was innocent he was just thirsty for knowledge and he needed to know. He knew Uther was a hated man but he was old and surly his death bed would await him soon and than Arthur would come into play as King and well Mordred did not know why she would want to take over if he was on the throne, Mordred did not care for him too much but he did help save his life. There were many questions the child wanted answers to but to get them was another story.

Caitrin had asked him if he felt better and he did despite having wet clothes he was warm which made the rain soaked clothes he had warm as well because his body temperature went up just a little. Pulling the milk to his lips he finished it off slowly than set it beside Caitrin's ready to be taken away and cleaned for it's next use. Mordred wondered if anyone else would be here, she said she had lived with husband and uncle so would they be here for the dinner time or was it just Caitrin and himself for the night? Mordred shrugged a little to himself not really wanting to ask her because he was not sure he wanted the answer. Mordred didn't do good with a lot of people and when people were around him he was silent and only spoke through the mind whether or not someone was of magic origin or not he just felt more comfortable that way, thus making him seem like a mute.
Caitrin than told him that her maid was finding him some dry clothes. That was nice, his clothes were a little old, ripped, and dirty so to have new ones to wear would be rather pleasant, at least that is what he thought. "Thank you, will no one mind you giving me clothes?" Mordred thought about it a little, there seemed to be no young ones except the one ins her stomach so how would he get clothes would they cut some up for him or just try to find the smallest ones they could. He did not know but still grateful none the less and he would always be grateful towards her, not many people showed this kind of kindness and they rarely took someone into their home let alone a druid who was feared through out Camelot thanks to Uther so he was forever grateful that Caitrin had come along, without her he would be spending his time in a tree hole trying to stay warm and dry while the storm crashed upon the leaves and the ground. Mordred was happy. Tag: Caitrin de Archer!Note: None

Lifting the bowl to his little lips he finished off the soup down to the last drop. He had a small half smile that graced his lips as he places the bowl in his lap. His stomach bulged a little from the food seeing as he does not eat a lot everyday so to have a meal like this his little tummy became packed but he enjoyed every little swallow he took and stopped at nothing till he finished his home cooked meal. Mordred nodded as she said that she was happy he liked her food, of course how could he not she made it for him so it made it all the better. "May I ask you something?" Mordred wanted to know why she tried to take over Camelot, he could not blame her for not wanting to be under Uther's rule and he doubted that Arthur's would be much better no matter what others had said. But he did not understand why she wanted to be Queen, was it for the power, the respect? He did not know she was his daughter.
Even upon knowing such information would never change his opinion about Morgana because she risked everything for him more than once and that alone proves to him that she is worthy of his friendship but his curiosity would always get the better of this child. "It would be nice to have a home... But I do not want to bring my bad fortune upon you." Mordred wanted nothing more than to stay with her forever but with him being hunted it would only be a matter of days before hunters would be knocking down her door. It was one thing if he was caught but he could not put Morgana's life into danger as well, he would never forgive himself if that happened. Though the more he thought about it the more he knew that Morgana was more than capable of taking care of herself, her powers grew strong within her as they did himself but he just couldn't shake the thought of something bad happening to her because of him.

Leaning against her was comfortable and as soon as she put her arm around him Mordred at first froze in his spot not really sure what to think about this gesture. It felt nice but Mordred was not use to this kind of affection other than from Morgana and that was maybe a hug but never like this. Mordred smiled to himself a little, she was so nice it almost made him feel like he wanted to stay this way forever but he knew that was not possible. After the storm he would leave not wanting to put his new friend in danger nor her family so he would leave when the skies were clear and the rain would stop. Sadly he would miss her but it was for the best if he would leave when it was safe.
It did not take long for the maid to come back with warm drinks, it was warm milk and that excited Mordred like no other. IT had been so long since he had milk. With no hesitation he pulled the cup to his mouth and took a rather large gulp and though it burned his mouth slightly it tasted really good and he let off a sigh of relief as he moved his tongue around trying to cool it down a little. "Thank you" He said to Caitrin though his mind, he would have said it to the maid but he did not feel comfortable speaking out loud. He was just use to speaking with his mind because he was always around other magic users, it was just natural for him.
Caitrin spoke of the house and how it was her uncles and he nodded as he listened. It was still a nice place in Mordred's eyes whether it was hers or her uncles. It was better than any place he staid which was not saying much because he said out side in caves and well tree holes as she had found him. But luckily for Mordred he liked the outside and all the creatures and fresh air, everything was lovely out side and as a child he enjoyed to run around and mess around and he never got into trouble. Though he would love to have a home to call his own like he use to. Maybe one day when Druids weren't hunted and he could live peacefully among everyone else. "I suppose you are right, it is hard when being hunted but I guess that is the price I pay for my gift." A gift was right, magic was was nothing to be taken lightly, it was in fact something to be feared if wielded by the wrong person, however it did not need to be the wrong person just some wrong doing. Uther like some others hate it and through that hate comes fear there for magic is not allowed, there is no speaking of it, using it, or housing it. One will sentence themselves to death by just mentioning. But Mordred did not think too much on that because they were not happy thoughts everything Uther has done has destroyed what he had once had.
Morgana had spoke of soup and Mordred beamed up at her as a child would their mother "I think the soup is wonderful Lady Morgana. The best I have had in a long time!" Mordred did not lie it was true very true but he was just a child after all and has not been able to experience the many things that say Lady Morgana has. Shrugging it off Morgana spoke again saying there was not reason to call her 'Lady Morgana' anymore for she was no friend of Camelot and Mordred just smiled at her "You will always be Lady Morgana to me. Camelot has no rule over me and as long as I breath Lady Morgana you will always be royalty in my eyes." Yes Mordred just went there, he may be a child but he spoke with wisdom... Some of the time that is. But everything that came out of the boys mouth was true at least true in his mind.
He listened to her speak and from the sounds of it things have not been too well for her and Mordred felt for her. Knowing what it was like to be on the short end of the stick "I am glad I could make your day better. Lady Morgana I will always be there for you as you were for me" Mordred loved Morgana, she had always been there for him she had risked everything to get him to safety so he would always be there for her. Not to mention the bond they had developed the first time they met, it was a strange yet strong bond that slightly confused the boy but he did not resist it. "To be honest Lady Morgana it has been hard. I have lost everything to Uther and his rule and now because of him I am hunted day and night. No good comes to me and I fear I will bring this upon you." Mordred leaned against her knee his bowl in hand, he was not sure what to do the bad seemed to follow him everywhere. Note: it's a little cheesy and cute but I could not resist haha XD

She spoke up to him telling him she would of course bring him to the Isle of the Blessed and he couldn't help but let a small smile climb upon his lips for the thought of being safe sounded too good to be true and if there was such a place he wanted to be there. Perhaps a place that was safe would allow him to take up more practice with his magic, something he has not been doing too much with seeing as he was always on the run or sleeping to keep up strength. Mordred barely had time for anything now a days, he was alone in the world and the hunters thought of him as easy prey despite the fact that he had magic it was only because he was a child and a small one at that. He knew better though he was strong willed and very smart he may not have known a lot about his magic because all of his masters had died before he was taught everything but he knew some and every little bit helped him in his journeys.
Nimueh had spoken up again, this time she was telling him another means of travel that would be faster. He looked up at her as she asked him if he had trusted her and he did to a point, seeing as he knew nothing of her but she saved his life and there for owed her so he knew where this was going and agreed to do anything that she wished, though he was slightly curious about this idea she was having "Yes of course Nimueh, though I do wish to hear more about this idea you have of transportation." It was simple really. Mordred did not hesitate and he would do as he was told because that was the kind of child he was, it was how he was raised but he did want to know more, the boy could not go without knowing more. It was like the knowledge fueled him made him continue going. The boy needed to know things it was his right as a child to learn things. It would only better him as a man. Note: none

Mordred watched the man closely, he did not trust this sorcerer any longer for he had betrayed him when Arthur had attacked his camp but that was beside the issue at hand. Mordred though he did not want to see Merlin walk away had said he was not there to fight. One wrong move and he would blast him to the middle of no where. Mordred did not trust easy and one that trust was broken than it was broken, no fixing it, there were no second chances for this young boy. Second chances could cost him his life and that was something he was not willing to give up, not yet at least! Shaking the thoughts from mind he focused on Merlin stepping a little closer to make it seem as if they were actually communicating with their voices instead of their minds. He may have not cared for Merlin anymore but he would not see him die at the hands of Uther or Arthur it was just not right for any sorcerer to die in such a manner.
"I have heard things Emrys, things I do not believe." He started to say with his mind. He still could not fathom Arthur being kind to those with magic, after he had killed so many of the Druids and others that were burned by the fires of Uther it was hard to see that they were not built from the same cloth with the hatred of magic. Mordred could also not see why Merlin was still a live, was he just that good at hiding it? Or was he the only exception but that wouldn't make sense because Uther's precious ward was also of magic origin. It made no sense to the young boy and yes he may have been young but we was no fool! "I find it hard to believe that Arthur is no like his father. I hear things about him, saying the Druids are safe. I think it is a trick. I do not believe that he is ok with magic. He is too much like his father!" Mordred got a little temper going but quickly cooled down.
Gathering himself and his thoughts he took a breath and began again "So please Emry's tell me is it true? Is Arthur different than is father?" Mordred had his doubts but it was still hard to say and it was hard to believe Merlin of all people, the one who betrayed him, who was to say he was not like Arthur as well even if he had magic it made no difference to him, both men were not liked by the boy he just wanted to know the truth and if Merlin did not have it than he would seek it out himself!

He looked over at Morgana when she spoke to him. Mordred smiled at her and shrugged a little "I thought so to, I think it is just habit for me now." It could be true considering he doesn't sleep often because he needs to keep moving, always on the run from hunters. For an odd reason they favored him, maybe it was because he was the one they couldn't catch and keep, that would make sense but he did not take a lot of time trying to think about that. Mordred was in the company of Lady Morgana a woman he had great respect for, someone he cared deeply for and matter of fact the only person who has not been taken from him so Morgana was very special to him and he wanted to get in as much time with her as he could.
She handed him some soup and he had thanked her. It looked good, anything better than he has had in a long time. Mordred sniffed it and turned to Morgana "Looks and smells delicious Lady Morgana!" He was not lying either, the boy was grateful for anything he got and to have it from Morgana which made it that much better. Mordred was so excited to see Morgana it had been such a long time, he was just so excited though he wished they would have met on better circumstances unlike they did earlier with the rain with the men that were after him. It had been such a long day he was happy she was there to help him and no he was in her home safe and sound.
She said something about it being such a long time since they last seen one another and he couldn't agree more with her. "It has been a long time. Many things has happened since our last meeting. How have you been Lady Morgana?" He scooped up some soup into his mouth and when he swallowed it everything warmed up on the inside of his body it was wonderful really, he was warm on the inside and out. Mordred sat curled by the fire eating soup that was made by Morgana he couldn't have been happier everything was said through the boys large blue eyes.

Mordred just listened as the maids rushed around doing their duties and what Caitrin had asked of one of them, it was amazing how it worked all she had to do was say something and they did it, no questions asked it was almost like home but everyone did something to help out and the elder they had was like the owner of the house but he cared for them and did what he could to help but that was than and this was now, now he was sitting in the house of a woman he had just met, a women who was kind to him and cared for him almost as a mother would their child it was nice seeing as Mordred did not know his mother and he barely remembered his father so the kindness she has showed him was wonderful. It was different seeing as Uther had the people see him and his kind as monsters, evil nothing but vermin yet she was one of them living in a beautiful house and no one seemed to care, that or they just didn't know. Either way it was everything to the young kid.
His mind quickly went blank as Caitrin entered the room, she did not have to say anything for him to know she was entering he could hear her, not saying that she was fat but living alone in the wild one had to learn to listen to everything that way he could always be alert and her foot steps made noise. He looked up at her as she came in and sat next to him. She suggested a blanket to him and he took it though he did not want to get it dirty but because she had suggested it and to him it meant that she wanted him to wear it so he draped it over his own shoulders and pulled it tightly around his little body. It was nice to be around someone who was loving and so nice. As she made herself comfortable he did to, leaning against her slightly, almost barely he did not want to disturb her so if she moved because he was leaning on her he would feel slightly bad but at least he would know and he would not do it again.
"That is true, it is nice to be out of the cold." Mordred admitted it, it was truly nice to be out of the everything that had to do with outside a house was nice to be in with a fire and blankets and best of all food! Mordred was a growing boy food was something that would be amazing, no little nuts he kept in his pocket but actual real food. Just the thought of it made his stomach growled but he shook the thought away "You have a really nice house miss Caitrin." Mordred smiled at her as he talked to her through his mind instead of his words. He found it fun and interesting how she talked to him parts would be with her mind and others with her words. She was practicing and it made him happy to see. The magical ability in someone was a gift and Mordred wanted to see it open and out there so anything Caitrin did that was related to magic made him smile mostly on the inside because he didn't want to give it away if the people of the house did not know. Mordred let off another very small sight of relief as the fire warmed his body, it was all so nice and rather new to him. A fun adventure really. Tag: Caitrin de Archer!

Mordred looked at the servant lady who talked with Caitrin, she made him slightly nervous for he did not care to be around so many people, only because he has had many bad experiences with groups of people but she seemed friendly as she spoke to miss Caitrin than did some form of a bow thing and walked away. He looked up at Caitrin to see what would happen next he also was not sure how to respond to her. She said she knew little about the Druids but seeing as she did not know a lot he would not know where to start. To him it was a place of paradise, the place was wonderful, open and free the people were kind and caring unlike a lot of the people he had some across but the peaceful nature of the Druids did not last long seeing as Arthur and his knights ransacked the place and had many fearing for their lives where as the others did not get so lucky. That was a hard time for him but he got over it and kept moving forward.
Caitrin lead the way to a room that Mordred would be waiting in. Upon entering the first thing he saw was a warm fire that looked so nice to curl up by and dry his clothes. Caitrin than spoke to him and told him to wait here while she went and changed. Not saying anything he nodded to her and watched her walk away. With him not speaking people around the house would probably see him has a mute but he did not want to talk at least not with his voice unless he had to.
After Caitrin left he walked over to the fire not wanting to sit on any furniture he curled himself up by the fire on the floor in a small area not wanting to dirty anything up. Mordred kept to himself and just watched the fire dance in it's place. Fire was beautiful it was graceful yet deadly it light the dark. It was mysterious yet open, it made Mordred really think on different things. He let off a small sigh as he wrapped his arms around his legs and rested his chin on his knees. It was a good way to stay warm and it also became comfortable after a while. If one were to look at it, it was also a position of defense so if attacked he would be able to spring open quickly but that was not the case in the home of miss Caitrin, here she said he was safe and he trusted her he wasn't sure why he did but he did so he sat there curled up and waited for her to return. It had seemed like hours that Mordred had slept but in all actuality it had only maybe been half an hour if that but his eyes opened slowly as he tired to pull his surroundings into focus. It took him a minute as he slowly sat up but everything that surrounded him came clear and he was as expected still in Lady Morgana's home which was honestly a nice relief. There was always a part of him that feared he would wake up in a cage or a cell, something unwanted, but he was here so it was all good. Lifting his arms that felt extremely heavy and he whipped his eyes. With a large yawn he looked around to find Lady Morgana, letting the blanket fall off the top half of his body he moved it slightly as he stepped on the floor "Lady Morgana?" he asked as he looked around. The place may have been small but there were some places to hide or not to be seen if standing by.
He saw a fire going and he walked over to it and sat on the floor as close as he could get to it without burning himself it was warm unlike outside though if he listened it seemed it had stopped raining. Mordred smiled a little to himself liked the days that it would rain and than stop the smell of it was wonderful and it seemed peaceful, all the little animals would come back out of hiding it was an interesting time if one took the time to think about it. Either way Mordred liked it and being out on your own in nature you got to experience a lot of things most people wouldn't which could also become an advantage.
As he sat on the floor his stomach grumbled a little bit and he placed a hand on his belly than he slid his hand into his pocket. Feeling around he grabbed out a couple nuts he got from a tree hole and cracked it open. It was not much but it was something. Mordred liked to carry small berries or nuts with him just encase he gets hungry, they made good snacks to hold him over so he could find something better. Nothing luxurious but it was filling and kept him fueled so that was all that mattered. He sat there quiet waiting for Morgana to speak or do something, he was in her home now and he would be respectful.

Mordred kept his head down as the sky rained down on them. The rain was so heavy it ripped through the plants some of the lushes green leaves fell to the ground though when it his the clothes of skin of Mordred it did not hurt though it was cold and it made him numb to the bone but he did not make a face he kept his baring and made his way as fast as he could, as fast as Caitrin could go with her baby that sat in her stomach. Caitrin than asked where he was from, did she not know about the druids. He tilted his head up at her and with pure curiosity he asked her a simple question "Have you never heard of the Druids? Surly you have through Uther or the others that walk the paths in Camelot?" Mordred did not really know how to word what he was asking but hopefully she would understand and be able to answer his questions.
It did not take long at all for them to reach her house. Stepping inside Mordred stopped to look around he was amazed at the size, it was no castle but it was large compared to the many homes he has had, He couldn't help but look around his tired eyes looking from the floor to the walls even to the decorations that covered the walls and every where he looked. It was amazing, and he was not sure what to say about it. Than out of no where Caitrin spoke to him pulling him back to earth and he looked at her as she told him that he could hang his cloak up by her own so he let go of her hand and pulled up to take his wet cloak off. He took a step over to the rack and reached up standing on his tippy toes he hung the cloak up, than backed up a little still not really sure what to say about anything.
His clothes were wet and dirty he did not want to move around too much or sit on her lovely furnishings because he did not want to get them dirty. Looking at Caitrin he whipped his face a little but only smeared the dirt slightly. His big blue eyes searching her face for what to do, he was in someone elses home, someone who was being kind to him that was something that did not happen often and so Mordred wanted to be as kind and as courteous as possible, again something Mordred was not use to being on his own but he could very well try his hardest. He was young yes but he was smart and chose his next move carefully. Tag: Caitrin de Archer!Note: Thank you haha. Yours was wonderful! "I am not afraid, it's... it's just loud too loud..." Mordred denied that he was afraid because fear was a weakness at least that is what he was once told and being a kid sometimes you tend to believe those you trust no matter what it is. If they say that person is bad well you believe they are bad it just all depends on who it is and how much you truly trust them. He looked down at the ground as he walked. The kid was tired and he couldn't help but look over his shoulder to see if there was someone chasing him but to his relief there was no one behind them which let him breath easily knowing he was safe... At least for now. Looking back forward to see where he was going his hand still firmly locked into Caitrin's.
She had explained to him her living situation and he was a little curious, they had workers how interesting "Where I use to live everyone worked together to gather food and clean clothes. We did not have anyone to do it for us." It didn't really have any meaning it was just kind of a random fact about where he was from and what they did. It was sort of like a clue to where he was from though if she knew he was a Druid than it was rather obvious where he came from though not many people found their camps. It was always a peaceful place to be and they were always ready to help but because they were of magic origin than there was always a problem because they were seen as scary and evil. Those people who are not to be trusted though the accusations were all wrong but now no one would know because Arthur and his men took out plenty of them and the rest fled for their lives.
As the thunder his closer and closer it soon started to rain. sometimes it started out slow but not today instead it came down overtime like someone was throwing buckets of water over them as they walked. The path began to get a little muddy. Mordred quickly pulled up his hood with on hand though the water would soon soak it. He just kept his head down and continued on his way, hopefully the house he was going to would be warm because the rain was cold and his clothes where holy so he was getting a little cold rather quickly. It was always interesting how the weather worked. Mordred couldn't help but wonder how long this storm was going to last this time. He smiled kindly at her. It had been such a long time since he had seen her. The last time was when he came to her for her help on retrieving the crystal but despite the excellent work Lady Morgana had done they still failed at keeping it which made Mordred a little irritated because he would have been able to figure its magic out in a matter of weeks but no, Arthur and his men had to come and destroy everything as usual. But that was the past this was now and now he was with Lady Morgana a woman he had never been closer to. Somehow they had this special bond that he was not complaining about, it was nice to have someone there for him that was not going to use him or mistreat him, but someone he could laugh with even if it was a little laugh everything helped in this time.
Morgana told him that she would make him something for his wound and that he could rest. She also reassured him that he was completely safe and she would not let any harm come to him. The thought of no harm was like a dream really he had always been on the run or always looking over his shoulder so it was a nice breath of fresh air really. With all that being said he laid back on the bed and closed his eyes as Morgana told him she would make some medicine that would help with the head pain. "Th-a-n-k y-o-u" He said in an almost exhausted out of breath voice as he closed his eyes. One his eyes closed it did not take even a minute and he was out. Mordred fell fast a sleep and the little kid looked of peace. His big icy blue eyes hidden from the world and his breath almost lifeless though if you look close enough it is obvious that he is breathing. The boy was exhausted and rest in a actual bed in a actual house was refreshing for him. NOTE: Sorry it is a little short. It will be longer next post! I will have him up and about next post as well haha!

He listened to her as she spoke about the purge, he had heard about it once before, it was the time when Uther went and killed those with magic and just about everyone connected to it, anyone who housed sorcerers or related to them. Even those who talked to him it was a mass genocide really and those who escaped went into hiding. It was a sad a cruel time and it didn't stop Uther was cruel and would kill anyone who showed sorcery in Camelot. Luckily Mordred was not around than he thought now was bad he might not have survived in fact he was barely making it now there was so much danger and with his magic not at it's full potential it made things a little difficult, though he managed somehow. Mordred looked up at her when she said he was born with a gift and he could almost saw other wise, almost. Mordred could not complain too much because it has saved his life plenty of times, though if he didn't have magic than he wouldn't be in constant danger so it was a gift and a curse, all he had to do was get the hang of it.
He sighed a little as he looked up at Nimueh than back down at the ground as she explained that there was a place he could stay that was safe. He looked at her with a curious eye, there were many places one could stay that would be safe for a while so he was rather curious to what she had in mind and before he could ask where she spoke to him. The Isle of the Blessed a place that was once the home of many Priestesses of the Old Religion. Upon hearing this Mordred perked up a little it was a safe heaven for those with magic, a place most people did not dare go to because of all the 'rumors' that have been spread some people saw it has a dangerous place but Mordred saw it as an opportunity. Nodding a little to himself he looked at her, his big icy blue eyes stared at her deeply "Will you take me to the Isle of the Blessed?" He heard about it but never thought of traveling to it, he wasn't even sure where it was.
Night had taken over making the forest a dark place that was not safe to travel. Looking around the men who captured him had to have had horses, cause someone had to pull the giant cage Mordred was trapped in though in Nimueh's terror he was not sure the horses stuck around, Mordred was not wanting to travel on foot to a far away place that was for sure, the boy was tired and his feet were hurting and walking just did not sound very good to him at that moment "Hopefully the horses have not gone far." He was looking around, taking a few steps away from the cage. Mordred was listening carefully for noises that sounded like a horse, at night the forest was rather quiet so it was easier to pick up familiar sounds. Note: Wow sorry this post sucked haha I am rather stressed and having a hard time focusing, I will do better next time.

Mordred nodded when she had asked him if he was ready to go. He was slightly nervous, he never came home with anyone and the last time he was inside a nice place was the castle when he was on the run other than that he had his nicer tents and living areas with the Druids and some other people he preferred not to name but that was besides the point he was now on his way to this ladies house where her family was and now he was going to be there intruding, it made his heart beat a little faster. He let out a small silent huff as he followed close to her not really sure how the towns people would react to him coming there. Mordred didn't care what people thought he was just mostly worried that something bad would happen to miss Caitrin, she had been so kind to him he would not wish anything bad on her but he held tight and followed closely beside her.
Thunder came rolling across the sky with it's loud noises and Mordred squeezed her hand a little harder, he hated the noise thunder let out he did not mind the lightening it was just light but the thunder was too much. Too loud. Mordred sucked it up and held on to the hand of Caitrin as she lead him away from his tree hole. Looking around as he went on. Mordred hadn't spent much time in towns like or anything like that he spent his days in the wilds with the Druids or by himself now that he had lost everyone.
He looked up at the sky than to Caitrin who was only a few feet taller than himself. "How many people do you live with?" Mordred was only asking because where he came from he lived with tons of people sure there were not a lot like in Camelot but to him there were many and they were all family in a way, or when he lived with bandits there were still many people that he lived with so he was just curious maybe she lived with a lot of people to. He will find out eventually as soon as they got to her home, hopefully the people there were as nice as he as well. Mordred was still young and something about his powers he could not control but only when he face a threat did his magic protect him. But that was something he would not have to worry about because he had Caitrin there. Tag: Caitrin de Archer!

It was soon that they had entered her little shack and things were clear now there was no fog no rain and luckily no mud! The lady had set Mordred on a bed and with shock she had said his name but before he could react or really even open his eyes she had hurried away to get him water. Holding the glass to his mouth he sucked down the water taking large gulps until it was gone. The water seemed so fresh, so nice he couldn't help but let of a small sight of relief as his throat became moistened and clear. Looking around everything seemed to be rather blurry, blinking a few times things seemed to swirl into focus. Looking around he saw a fire and chairs and some shelves it seemed cozy than as he made his way around the room he spotted her! The one person he had been searching for all a long Lady Morgana!" Despite the fact that he was tired and his head hurt his excitement was glowing from his face, he smiled from ear to ear as he reached in and hugged her tightly. He had been looking for her since he had heard of her taking over the castle and than being banished, and seeing as Mordred had no one else left he went off and began his search for her, running from men and trying to stay dry. It was finally nice to have found her after those many harsh nights.
"I am glad I found you! I have been searching the woods for you since I heard you have not been at the castle." He gave a soft smile it was a weak one but it was there none the less as he spoke to her through his mind, still not really wanting to use his words. It was just more of a habit now for him a lot easier to do when other sorcerers were around. He rubbed his head a little where he had hit it on his fall and there was a slight bump on it, wincing at the pain it caused just by his light touch. All the rain and mud it was a wonder not a lot of people slipped off of hills and hurt themselves, maybe Mordred was just one of the lucky ones. He sat up and positioned himself so he could look at her with a straight view. Her face and her eyes made him feel safe, he knew Morgana would always protect him as she had done in the past.

He noticed the uncomfortable look that seemed to come from her eyes seeing as she was smiling making it seem all okay, Mordred knew better, it was rather obvious, what mother would be ok with a child being out in a storm maybe in a cave or tree hole but he just ignored it. Than out of no where for the first time Mordred became shocked, it was obvious to his eyes widened a little bit and his lips parted oh so slightly, he was not really sure what to do now. Caitrin had just offered him to come home with her... No one ever did that sure he staid with Morgana but he was on the run and he was hurt and for some reason they had an unbreakable bond right off the start but with Caitrin a mother in waiting it was just a little different. The look of shock staid on his face for a few moments than after he realized it he pulled himself back together still not really sure what to say.
He watched as the woman stood up and offered him her hand to take so they could walk to her house but he just wasn't sure every time he went and staid with someone something bad happened. Arthur normally raided the camp after a certain amount of days so it made Mordred a little nervous she was so kind and he wouldn't know how to react if something bad happened to her. But the storm looked so dark and it was coming forth quickly he was not sure what to do. He looked at her and than at her hand and back at her face, she looked sincere about it but was it the right choice to make. He didn't know looking over at the little tree hole and cringed a little. It was warm sure but it was so small so with a small huff he grabbed her hand and waited for her to lead the way. Mordred did not say a word instead he stood there silently his hand in hers. He took a deep breath and waited to follow her to her home. Tag: Caitrin de Archer!

As he scooted back he all of a sudden felt someone grasp him and for a short moment his heart stopped his mind went straight to the worst person and he almost, almost blew the person away as well but than a voice came and broke through the darkness it was a woman a familiar woman, her voice it brought back memories of Morgana but that couldn't have been right this place would not suit a woman of her stature but he did not concentrate on that as a quick fog surrounded them and he had been scooped up. His head still fuzzy and he couldn't really see. The only thing he saw was a slim figure with long dark hair and he gripped to her tightly. "Thank you" a weak voice came to her in her mind as she hurried away from the vial men that had been after him. He was not sure where he would be with out her. Normally he was able to escape with ease but this time he had just been so tired and so weak, his small body only allowed him to do so much and with him continuously practicing his magic it took a small toll on him and with the storms that had happened not too long ago many of the berries one could eat were smashed or already taken by the animals for the forest.
Mordred rested as she made her way away from the men who were now angrier than ever but did not dare go further because now there were two sorcerers and that was too much to the mere mortal men to handle especially with a lot of them dead or injured. He was safe alas and he could rest a little bit. Mordred closed his eyes but his grip on the woman did not cease, he gripped her tight enough his little fingers turned pale white. But he was still able to rest his mind. While Mordred rested a little he still could not help but wonder who this marvelous woman was, she seemed so familiar yet so different at the same time, could he trust her or was he just another pawn for someone to use only when the fog was gone and he opened his eyes would he be able to see and know who she truly was. Would his search be over? Who knew and honestly Mordred was too tired to really care at the moment, all he wanted was to sit where it was warm and than maybe have a small bite to eat if there was anything near by that is.
