Kazira was shocked to hear a voice that she dropped the brush and looked at the entrance. The shock faded and she smiled her eyes dancing with mirth. It was a boy a rather ragged boy. She let out a small laugh before she calmly bent down and picked up the brush. She patted Chance's withers gently.
"It seems that I am grooming Chance. I just needed a place to get away from nosy crowds."She gave Chance a playful look. You could have told me your name before you got me talking." She said with a smile all she got was a snort in reply. Looking back at the boy her smile turned to a smirk. "The names Kazira. What's yours boy?" She didn't normally say things like boy or girl but she didn't know what else to call him. "You do know that it's customary to introduce yourself first before asking another's name?" She stated jokingly before walking around Chance giving her flank a short rub before walking over and placing the brush back where she got it giving the other horses a look be for laughing when she got annoyed nickers and neighs, she sat down on a stool and watched the boy with her hands in a complacent manner so as to not make him ansy. She honestly didn't know if he was mad that she was in the stables or because she was grooming a horse. He was rather skinny which made her wonder why but she didnt dwell on it for too long. She found the thought rather amusing that the boy, as skinny as he was, would stand up to a total stanger, without knowing who his oppenent was. She'd give him credit; he was either incredibly brave or a total twit. She has yet to decided as to which one yet. [Its no problem at all ]

Kazira nodded her head. She would agree with Arthur...This one time, considering it was strangely out of character for her to be so agreeable to anyone. But she hadn't been to Camelot in a long time and she didn't necessarily want to spend her time in the dungeons...or even dead it just wasn't on her list of things to do maybe the last if it was.
"Alright your highness, I'll try to keep my mouth shut about my feelings,"She couldn't help but let a bit of sarcasm slip into her tone when she said that but as far as she thought at least acknowledging his status was better than no status at all but it was a start..
Moros who decided that he really didn't like being wet grabbed the sleeve of Arthur's shirt and tugged. He was a little concerned for Kazira and the Prince(despite just meeting him) They could get sick in the storm and it seemed that though kazira was calmer the storm became a natural one not connected to her emotions. He tugged again trying to get him to move. Kazira smiled when Moros nodded his head towards an over hang. She knew he didn't like the rain and that he didn't want her to get sick. That was just how he was.
"You know we should probably get out of the rain. No need for the heir to catch a cold." She laughed slightly as she moved to the overhang but stopped and looked at him gratitude shinning in her icy eyes. "Thank you for not trying to kill me; and thank you for asking Uther for me. I sincerely doubt that he would see me." With that said she turned and ducked under the overhang and rung out her soaked hair her bangs falling into her eyes as they usually seemed to do.

Timeline: After The Curse of Cornelius Sigan T.O.D.: late afternoon Tag(s): Neav
Kazira had decided that today would be a good day to just get away from the other people in Camelot. She tolerated people for the most part but they were to nosy and to eager to take advantage of people. Not that any have tried yet, but lately it seemed as if everyone wanted to know her past and it was getting on her nerves. She didn't want to go to the forest to get ignored by Moros because he was annoyed with her; she hadn't received a job from anyone...not one. Though Kazira hadn't been really looking. she had been wandering around and saw the stables and decided that it would be as good as any place to relax and hide from people. Today she was wearing a light blue shirt with a brown belt over it with her dagger and short sword attached to it and her bow was slung lazily over her should along with a new quiver of arrows that she had bought with some money she had stashed in her boot specifically for the purpose of buying weapons, she was also wearing doe colored breeches with black knee-high boots, Her dark hair was left to frame her face and on her head was a band she made with leather that was braided with beads and the tied ends dangled on the left side of her head with a few white and gray feathers; most would over look the beads but if someone had gotten hold of the circlet they would realize that the beads all held many pentacles..
Kazira walked into the stables and it was like a breathe of fresh air; well, sort of. She saw a range of beautiful horses. This must be the royal stables She thought this because the horses were well taken care of and had very shiny coats. She walked up to a brown mare and smiled when her head bumped against hers in greeting. "Well hello to you to Hun." That's when the other horses began nickering at her causing her to laugh. "Calm down, calm down all of you. I'll get to you all in a minute." deciding that she wanted to do something other than just sit around she grabbed a brush placing her bow and short sword against the stable wall. She began to gently brush the mares hair and had a conversation with her about the castle, Camelot, and other sorts of things that seemed to come up during the grooming. She was so into the conversation that she didn't seem to realize the outside world existed.

Kazira blinked as it began to rain. The once bright sunny day had turned into a storm and that had many rushing to get out of the onslaught of rain that was pouring down. She knew she probably sounded bitter, and sighed before taking a breathe to try and calm herself so that the storm would go away. "Look My Lord. While you think that what I said may be incredibly idiotic and crazy but if you will, please just look at from my view, yes I sound a little bitter but how would you sound, if when you were fifteen you left to do something and your entire family was no longer with you? When it was someone you were supposed to trust? I'm not meaning to be snide or condescending i am asking a legitimate question." she paused. "Not my place? Would you mind telling me my place? Oh don't answer that its not important."
Kazira continued to look at Arthur willing him to at least understand. "Look I don't hate the king, I might even be wrong saying that it was his knights that were ordered to do it. And maybe I didnt have a right to disrespect him in his own king dom, or even at his fron t door. But can you ask him one thing for me? Will you ask him if he had a Sador and Arabella killed just outside of Camelot in the forest? Please, this will be the only thing that I ask for. I just want some clarity on what happened. " she let a disarming grace her face. Her throat hurt from holding back all of the anger and frustration that she felt. All she wanted to do was curl up with Moros and sleep in the woods. she felt safer there than she ever did in a town. Maybe even a stable would be nice. Lots of nice animals there, she let out a mental laugh at that. She didn't have many close human friends they were mostly just animals.

Thunder sounded from the on coming storm clouds and Moros grew even more worried it wasn't like Kazira to let everything affect like she is now. he had to wonder what was really going on inside her head. Kazira was frustrated and all of the pent up emotions that she had refused to acknowledge over the years about her families death was coming to the surface and threatening to spill over. She clenched her hands trying to keep them from trembling and when Arthur had stated that she could not show disrespect to those who 'protect' their people the dam that stopped her tears broke. "Protect them? How is killing those who are different; how is murdering families in their own kingdom protecting them?! How has the king protected me when his knights murdered my family! My baby sister?! How was he protecting his people then?" Kazira shouted as the thunder got louder. She could feel her powers at the edge of her consciousness and tried to suppress them. In her mind she could not believe that she had said that out loud but she couldn't seem to calm down enough "If my head was to land on a chopping block then I would die with self-respect knowing thatI did not back down from beliefs and that I thought that someone in power was wrong. If I was such an oddity then the other lords and ladies would have killed me in the dungeons." She paused taking a breath looking down at the ground.
Moros looked up at her in shock. This was new...Kazira was never this vocal about what happened to her before. He had to keep his jaw from dropping; he knew that he family was dead but he didn't know that they were murdered or that she had a little sister. This was turning out to be quite interesting.

Kazira did sigh out loud this time. She knew he wouldn't get it but she could always hope. Couldn't she?
"I know its hard to believe but I said more or less. I'm the best of friends with them that I can just go over unannounced and have a meal there. Its just enough that they know my habits and just ignore them and not throw me into the dungeons and torture me like they do the first time they hear it." Kazira said her voice raising a little before she paused and calmed down. There was no need to get all riled up about this."It may be common sense but that doesn't mean a thing to me. Why should I show respect when hardly any is given to me because of my so called station and gender? I will show respect where respect is due but not when it is not needed. To me royalty are just those who self appoint themselves and make others lives miserable by taking everything they love away from them." Kazira's voice softened at the end of her little speech. She could feel the burn of tears but refused to let them fall. Yes, she truly believed that is what royalty is, and more than half the time the royalty and nobility have proved her right time and time again for how cruel they can be to those who "aren't like them."
She knew that is was incredibly rare to find someone who doesn't care for the ranks and titles, especially one like her a female, but that is how she was raised prior to being orphaned and that was how she continues to live and will live. she believed that if you did something worth being respected for then you shall receive it if in turn you treat everyone with respect and equality.
Moros looked at his friend and moved closer to her brushing his head against her his trying to give comfort. He knew that the whole title and rank thing was just a part of nature, one that she fought so hard against. But even in the wild there were the alphas and the omegas. Strong and the weak. Leaders and followers. You can't change it. Moros looked up and saw that Kazira was still fighting back the tears that had gathered earlier. He wasn't a mind reader so he had no idea that she was thinking about when she was orphaned by Camelot's Knights or the time in the dungeons she spent staring at nothing but bars. No he had no idea how close she was to just breaking down in front of the Prince. He threw a worried look up at the darkening sky. He knew one thing though her water magic was very close to the surface if it was creating a storm. Moros only hoped that they could get to a different subject before the storm broke and something dangerous happened.

" Yes I did. I would greatly appreciate it if you didnt mention how I got away to anyone. Some things are out lawed. Especially if you get closer to Camelot." Kazira stated her voice stern but not hard, more cautious than anything. If anything magic was welcomed in other places and she wouldnt have to be as cautious when she used it but she had to trust in her instincts and hope to all of the earthly gods that Zafira didnt mention this to anyone.
Moros looked at Kazira before shugging. He sat down next to her and watched the woman carefully. Moros gave her a once over and continued to watch her carefully. But glanced at Kazira when she called him a massive beast; he admitted though that for a canine he was rather large but he was no beast. He snorted and proceeded to watch what was going on between the foreign woman and his friend.
Kazira wasnt all that shocked when Zafira said that she was a noble woman. Her clothes stated as much as well as her demeanor though, most nobles she met werent 'as' proud as she was. Kazira smiled and nodded att her again dipping her head acknowleding her status but still not really caring. Kazira looked at Moros when she saw Zafira's face kind of scrunched up. He was covered in dirt from their travels, she sighed she needed to give him a bath. "Honestly, his name doesnt have a meaning. His mother gave it to him, before she left. I guess with that situation in mind his name would mean nothing." Kazira mentally sighed as her tone took on a slightly more somber tone when she stated that. Moros was her best friend and companinion, she hated the fact that his name meant nothing but it seemed that they were meant to be friends because hers had no meaning as well. Her mother loved her dearly but had decided that she wanted a name that many wouldnt think of or confuse her name with someone else's. Looking back up at Zafira she asked the same question back to her wondering what her name meant. Yes she knew a bit of the language but she didnt know every single meaning of every name.

Kazira watched as Zafira sounded out the word. It was a big word and she realized that she probably didnt know it so she decided to explain what she meant to say.
"No I didnt call him inadvertantly, I had insulted him indirectly causeing him to get angry when he found out and I took of running and I really didnt want to be thrown in the dungeon or something." she couldnt help but let out a little giggle at the expression on the son's face when he heard her insult him. It was rather funny.
Kazira watched as Zafira restated the name before she asked if she danced professionally. Kazira shrugged.
I do and I don't. Dancing is not the only way the I earn a living but I enjoy it. I am a mercenary and trader by trade." Kazira smiled "and this enormous beast that just walked up is my loving partner Moros."

She nodded her head with a laugh. Yes she did have a problem with the guards. And that was her own doing with her big mouth. And the fact that the son was standing behind her. Though, that part she really couldnt control all that well. "Yes I did have a problem with them, though not personally, they were only under orders to chase me because I inadvertently insulted the noble man's son." Kazira quieted her laugh but kept a pleasant smile on her face. The woman wasn't so bad, if not a bit stuck up, but she was obviously in a new and unfamiliar place so she decided to cut her a bit of slack. She heard the soft padding of an animal and saw that it was moros trotting up with no care in the world still carrying her bow, daggers, and short sword along with her pack. She gave him an annoyed look before turning back to Zafira.
Kazira quirked her brow when Zafira had asked why she was dressed as someone she was not. She couldnt help but be slightly confused before it clicked. She was asking why she was dressing as one of her people even though she was not. "I was hired as a dancer, for the Nobleman's son's birthday celebration. I wanted to honor my teacher, Fatinah."

Kazira raised her brow at the woman before her. She had an array of emotions cross her face ranging from disgust to disappointment. Yes, Kazira was a little disappointed that there was no greeting in return but she didn't let it get hew down too much.
"I received from a friend when I went to Arabia a few years ago for work. I learned many things there." Kazira stood straight her eyes ever moving with her magic. "Is that a problem?"
When the woman replied Kazira had to hold back an un-lady like snort. The woman, 'Zafira,' had a major attitude from the way she was standing and the way she had talked. But until she did something Kazira was not going to do anything other than be somewhat kind. "That's a very beautiful name. What brings you here, though? Kazira asked not really caring if she sounded rude or nosy. This woman rubbed her the wrong way and she seemed a little to proud for her tastes, but maybe she could try and give her a little bit of friendship.

She, once again, nodded her head. "Most of them yes. Others not so much but I'm more or less friends with them. Kazira withheld the urge to sigh in exasperation. This was going to be a bit different from the other times she had decided she was tired of using titles. She knew it gets her into trouble but she wasn't going to change who she was for someone who supposedly had "noble" blood. Blood was blood in her opinion (not that anyone asked for it often being one of her gender). "Look I honestly meant no disrespect but the whole title thing, it just doesn't make sense to me when we all have the same blood." She looked up at him with her icy blue eyes the color mixing and it seemed to move.
The massive dog sat between them as he watched the interaction and saw that Kazira was opening her mouth and sticking her boot into it. Moros moved his paw and placed it on her foot before shifting his weight onto it causing Kazira to yelp. She lifted her foot and glared at moros her eyes still seeming to move like water. "What was that for?" she muttered to him before placing her foot down again and looking back up at Arthur. She wondered what he was going to say to her comment.
(its okay that its short ^^ there's nothing wrong with that.)

Hearing the feminine shout she looked over and was shocked it was an Arabian looking woman. Most people didn't know what Arabians were at least those not of noble birth. She knew a bit of the language enough to get buy in a trade and she knew a few words like the one the woman had said. Not thinking Kazira stopped and turned towards the guards with a smirk. She was far enough away from the main area of the village that she could use her magic without causing to much damage and she doubted the other woman, her gut told her so and she always trusted that innate instinct that most have and ignore, would tell of her gifts, but since she didn't have her sword she decided that this was the only other option other than running. Taking a deep breathe she put her index and thumb together and blew fire at the guards scaring them. Kazira had decided that this was the best way to use her magic and not seem to suspicious. She wanted them to think that she was using something to blow the fire at them. Kazira laughed as the men turned tale and ran away.
"Men are such cowards, but it cant be helped with that element." Kazira said, her Irish accent coming through. She turned towards the woman and decided to walk over to her; she kept her footsteps light so that she didn't make a sound (it also made it easier to run should she have to). She came up to her and smiled and dipped her head to the woman. "Salam wa aleikum." Kazira stated the most common greeting that she could remember, hoping that she didn't botch up the greeting. "The name's Kazira Astras. and who are you if I may ask?" Through this whole little episode she was hoping that she wouldn't have to try explain how she did the "trick," but it would be easier to explain the fire than the water.
