Arthur had failed him, though Uther still had not heard the reason why. The attack was indeed horrible but the creature was still out there causing havoc to his people, he would be angry with Arthur for a while at least until he could deal with the creature. Uther of course didn’t see the creature he only knew what it half looked like from what his knights had told him. Uther was going to pay a visit to the infirmary after his discussion with Arthur. “See to it that you do Arthur. From what I’ve been told about this creature it’s powerful able to take on a few knights and live to tell the tale.” Uther replied back to Arthur.
“I’m glad that the crops and water are going back to normal but you still haven’t told me the reason why you left this city last night and allowed the creature to attack Camelot. You’ve left the city defenseless Arthur that’s no excuse.” Uther replied back raising his voice a little bit he wanted to know why Arthur had left Camelot and wouldn’t rest till he knew the answer. “From what I’ve heard about the creature it can fly and breath fire but it’s not a dragon. I’ve been informed that the creature has been born from the magic element fire that’s all I know for now.” Uther replied back. “I was thinking along the same lines. I’m going to visit the infirmary you should come to.” Uther explained as he made his way towards the door.

In the war against magic Uther knew there were going to be tough times ahead of him but he swore an oath to himself and his people that magic is not only evil but whoever uses magic are evil and must be dealt with severe punishments and the punishment of using magic is death. Uther had ordered Guinevèreâs father Tom to death because of that law he had passed down to his people it was meant to keep them safe from magic. Utherâs thoughts returned to his son and Morgana, he hopped that Arthur would bring her home very soon and with each passing day Arthur returned without her Uther grew angrier that he allowed this to happen.
Uther had failed Morganaâs father in the promise that he would look after her and now Morgana was missing. Uther listened to Guinevèreâs words but he wasnât really listening to them only half listening. âYouâre right Guinevère I know that Arthur will bring Morgana safe and sound but I still have my doubts. If Morgana dies Camelot would have lost a good person.â Uther replied back to Guinevère. Uther turned back to look at his city, Camelot has really come a long way from the great purge and the war against magic. Uther knew that he still had a lot of work to do before he knew that Camelot was safe, safe for Arthur to become king.

Uther couldn’t believe that he married a troll. Of all the things he could have done but marry a troll and allow her, well it to disown his son Arthur. Uther had been under the troll’s spell and couldn’t see through it if it wasn’t for Arthur’s fake death to bring true tears of sadness to Uther then he wouldn’t know where he would be right now. Uther was informed about everything that had happened and wanted Arthur to dine with him tonight, though Uther was still in disgust on what he did to make any formal public attendance just yet, he wanted to make sure that this whole situation was far behind him.
Uther was the first to arrive in the dining room, he looked around and was told that dinner was nearly ready by a servant, that was good he was rather hungry tonight. It didn’t take Arthur long to arrive and from the moment that his son walked into the room Uther could see what he was trying to do. “Trying to forget what just happened, though I’m fine.” Uther replied back to Arthur. “Don’t you start Arthur I already feel horrible on what just happened.” Uther added in as the servants entered the room with plates of food.

Uther looked back at his son as he said that he wasn’t going to stop looking for Morgana and Uther believed Arthur would stop at nothing to bring Morgana home where she belonged. As each day passed Uther felt that their chances of finding Morgana decreased, he hated not knowing and felt that his promise to Morgana’s father was broken. Uther felt horrible about it, though he right now had to deal with the matter’s at hand. The war with Cenred wasn’t going to be easy at all. “I know you will find Morgana Arthur.” Uther replied back. Uther looked back at the map of Cenred, he was amazed that he could get his hands on one of these. Uther nodded in reply, they needed all the knights that they could get their hands on they must defend this city.
Camelot was the last line of defense if this city falls then Cenred would have won and that’s something that Uther wasn’t going to let happen he couldn’t allow his city to fall. “I have faith in you Arthur. I know you will do everything in your power to train those knights. When you believe they are ready to be knighted I will knight them and they can join our army.” Uther replied back. “So am I. I hope that it doesn’t come down to that but if it does I need your support.” Uther added in. “Perhaps you are right. I’ll send a messenger to Mercia and the other kingdom’s seeking for help against Cenred.” Uther replied back to Arthur.

Uther looked back at Arthur for a moment as he waited to see what kind of response he would get from his son. Uther still remembered the time Arthur ran off to get some stupid flower, he would have expected that the boy would’ve learned his lesson from last time but now he had gone and done it again. Arthur finally spoke up he listened to the words his son spoke to him but it wasn’t the words Uther were looking for at all though at least Arthur was concerned about Camelot. Uther just starred out into the city as the first glimpse of daybreak was upon them soon the sunrise would hit the walls of Camelot to a bran new day.
Uther turned away from the window and looked back to Arthur, no matter how much he failed or what Arthur did Uther however still loved his son and would do anything for him. “Twelve dead four of them were knights the others were civilians. At least twenty more knights were wounded they remain in the infirmary with burn marks all over their body.” Uther explained to Arthur. “I want you to deal with this Arthur. I want the creature’s head by sundown tomorrow. I will not allow this creature that was conjured by magic to be allowed to roam freely unchecked.” Uther explained to Arthur.

Uther waited for Arthur to see if he had any news on Morgana. Uther hated it, every passing day since Morgana’s disappearance and it was taking its toll. Uther was using more knights to search for Morgana then to keep Camelot safe. Uther knew that they had a shortage of knights because of the dragon attack, he should have killed that dragon when he had the chance years ago instead of locking him underneath the castle. Uther cursed himself for that. “We’re doing all we can for Morgana Arthur. I wish though we could just find her.” Uther replied back to his son.
Uther listened to his son as he spoke up about the plans of the defensives that Camelot had. “My concern as well. Later today I’ll speak to the people explain that we need people of nobility to join the knights of Camelot to defend their home. Without more people as knights we’ve got no way to defend Camelot from an attack.” Uther replied back to Arthur. “If we had more people to protect the lands we would be alright. After the dragon attacked us we’ve been dealing with more problems then solutions and right now we need a solution. If things don’t lighten up I’m thinking of calling every man and woman to call up arms to defend Camelot since right now we don’t have the manpower.” Uther replied back to Arthur.

Uther was rather annoyed at the moment as he looked down the city from above. Everything seemed quiet today, dayâs like today was peaceful and thatâs what Uther loved the most about Camelot but he didnât feel like being peaceful right at this present moment where everything was going down hill. Uther looked back at Guinevère but turned away for a moment as she started talking. Guinevère was Morganaâs servant now she was helping out in the castle till Morgana returned and Uther hoped that it would be very soon as he missed her deeply. Uther listened to Guinevèreâs words as she spoke to him.
âI am worried about Morgana Guinevère. I fear the worst and each passing day confirms my fears that she may not be coming back at all.â Uther replied back to Guinevère. Uther sighed as he turned away from the city to look back to Guinevère. Uther smiled as he listened further to Guinevère as she explained things about Morgana. âI thank you Guinevère for youâre support even though you of all people shouldnât be.â Uther replied back. Uther was of course talking about the day he sentenced her own father to death, this indeed must be awkward. Everything seemed to be going so well but Uther knew that he shouldnât let his guard down.

Uther had wondered where Arthur had been all night though he better have a good story to explain his whereabouts to Uther when he returned. Uther looked up when he heard footsteps, his frown grew when he noticed that it was his son Arthur. Uther didn’t speak to his son at first he returned to his breakfast. It didn’t take Uther long before he finished his breakfast, he stood up and walked a little bit away from the table. Uther was reading the parchment that had the report on the creature attack. Twelve dead many wounded and this was the first he was hearing about it, Uther was very disappointed indeed.
Finally Uther turned towards his son, he took a few steps towards him and shoved the parchment into Arthur’s hands. “So tell me Arthur. Where were you when the creature attacked Camelot last night? Tell me Arthur you want to be king some day but you go disappearing in the night and left Camelot defenseless, what could possibly have made you leave Camelot?” Uther yelled. “I had to find out about this from a Knight. A Knight and not from my son where I put my trust in. You’ve disappointed me Arthur.” Uther added in. Uther looked out into the city as he waited for Arthur to respond to him.

War it was something that Uther wasn’t looking forward to but Cenred had made it clear that they didn’t want peace but war, so Uther had been spending most of the time getting things ready incase Cenred made a surprise attack. Now he was talking with his knights and several other people. The map Uther was looking at was a map of Camelot, one of his knights had gotten hold of a map of Cenred which will come in handy and Uther rewarded the knight. Looking at the map Uther was pointing to locations that he felt needed extra manpower. “We can cover the walls around Camelot with arches and increase the amount of knights within the city, perhaps a curfew would be needed as well.” Uther explained.
Everyone around him was in an agreement, they however stopped talking when Arthur walked into the room. “Leave us.” Uther ordered them. Uther just watched as the knights and other people left the room, the last person closed the door as they left. “Arthur any news on Morgana?” Uther asked his son. Uther knew that Arthur was spending more time in looking for Morgana and training as well. War had put a lot of pressure on the city of Camelot but Uther knew that they all could pull through, they had to. “Tell me what you think of these plans for added defenses.” Uther asked his son. It was rare for Uther to ask Arthur for advice.

The King looked down at his city, Morgana was still missing and Arthur was out looking for her. Uther needed some time away from the knights and other people that nag him about this and that. Just really small things really that probably didnât need him but people just seem to find him out of the blue, there wasnât a moment peace when you were king and Arthur needed to realize this for he was his heir and future king of Camelot. Arthur would take him place on the throne but not for a while the young prince still has a lot to do before Arthur Pendragon becomes king of Camelot.
Looking around he could hear footsteps approaching, sighing as someone had found him to annoy him Uther turned around to see Guinevère walking up to him and bowing to him. Guinevère was Morganaâs servant and the blacksmithâs daughter. Uther had sentenced Guinevèreâs father to death when Tom was found using a magical device. Uther shook his head in a reply, he didnât need anything except to know if Morgana and Arthur was alright but he didnât expect Guinevère to know this. âNo I donât need anything at the moment.â Uther replied back as he returned to look at the city.

Uther was extremely pissed of this morning he had found out that a creature attacked Camelot in the middle of the night, while he was sleeping and Arthur didn’t wake him or even mentioned it. It was early morning the sun wasn’t even up yet but for Uther he was always up before the dawn. Uther was sitting in the dining room waiting for his breakfast, he wanted to see his son as soon as possible but so far his men couldn’t find the prince and this is what made Uther angry the most. Looking outside he could see the damage that the creature did, it could breathe fire but it wasn’t a dragon he whipped them all out, well all but one.
A maid walked into the dining room carrying a large tray of food. Placing it down Uther grabbed hold of the knife and fork and began eating the bacon from his plate. The maid left and a knight entered the room with the report. Uther sighed twelve were killed in the attack last night, if they don’t slay the beast then nothing will stop it from killing them all in one swift move. Uther was halfway through his breakfast when it was announced that his son Arthur was found. “Bring him to the dining room immediately.” Uther explained as he returned to his eggs.

Ygraine died in childbirth after magic was used to allow her to give birth to their son, Arthur. Uther refused to tolerate magic at all and executed anyone found using it. Despite his attitude towards magic, Uther genuinely cared about his kingdom and tried to be a good ruler. | ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |
.:Birthplace:. Camelot .:Family:.
Ygraine: Uther loved his queen very much and when she died giving birth to Arthur, he was devastated. His sorrow was so strong that he began persecuting the thing that he believed caused her death: magic. Twenty years after her death he stills mourns her, saying to Nimueh that Ygraine was his heart and soul.
Arthur Pendragon: Uther was very critical of his son, spending a great deal of time ordering him around like a second-in-command or scolding him. However Uther cared about Arthur more than anyone.
Morgana: Uther had a somewhat strained relationship with Morgana, his adopted daughter. While he did care for her, his constant executions of people who use magic often put him at odds with Morgana. He was also unaware that she was a witch. After Morgana was found hiding a Druid boy he was trying to locate, Uther told her that he would not hesitate to break the promise he had made her father if she ever betrayed him again.
.:Occupation:. King of Camelot .:Current Location of Residence:. Camelot .:History:. Uther had ruled Camelot for over twenty years. After discovering his queen, Ygraine, was unable to have children, he sent Gaius to the Isle of the Blessed to ask the sorceress, Nimueh, for advice. Wanting to help her friends, she used magic to allow Ygraine to conceive an heir. Unfortunately at the time, Nimueh didn't know that by using magic to create a life, another life had to end in order to protect the natural balance of the world. As a result, Ygraine died in childbirth. Heartbroken over the loss of his beloved wife, a grief-stricken Uther turned on Nimueh, accusing her of treason and banishing her from the court. He then began The Great Purge, ordered the executions of hundreds of sorcerers, good and evil alike, as well as banning magic from Camelot. The purge ended with the capture of The Great Dragon, who was imprisoned beneath the castle to serve as an example to all magic users.
Uther can be a tyrannical ruler who will stop at nothing to set things right in his eyes, especially if magic is involved. He believes that all magic are evil, and all those who practices magic are evil. A few years later, Uther took in Morgana, the orphaned daughter of his close friend, Gorlois, who died when Uther did not provide the reinforcements he had promised the other man. He and Morgana often fight with one another, most notably over Uther's policies concerning magic, but they still share a deep bond with each other. Uther married a troll though he saw though the spell where he thought everyone was against him.
