Playing the damsel in distress was new to Morgana. She didn't need anybody's help, she could fight as well as any man. But this was mandatory. Arthur had to be convinced that she was unstable, fragile, shooken, terrified and exhausted. No one could be able to guess that she had spent the last year living a good life.
Morgana gave him a few nervous nods before her helped her up to her feet. He wouldn't let any harm come to her. Sadly, she couldn't promise that for him in the future. She held onto him, resting her weight against him as she walked feebly along his side. He tried to keep his cape around her as they walked and she held onto it with shakey hands. Things were absolutely perfect and were going according to plan.

Especially the King. Morgana smirked to herself on the inside. Uther would be happy to see her but she would be far more pleased to see him. The King should enjoy his kingdom while he still had it because it wouldn't be his for long. "Oh! Uther! How I have missed him." She smiled through it. But oh how she loathed Uther. He killed her people. Her people who used magic. Would he kill her if he found out about her magic? She would not put it past him. Arthur on the other hand... she did not know. Being in the comfort of his arms right now she would like to believe that he wouldn't, but he was Uther's son.
"Please, I don't want to stay here! Not anymore. Please, take me away!" Morgana started to get frantic, playing her part well, gripping speraticly at Arthur's armor with little hope of finding grip. "Please." She repeated in a whisper, her eyes big with fake plea.

They ate it up. Every single knight there just ate up her act, perhaps even Merlin, she thought for a second. They truly believed her sherade. She smirked into Arthur armor as she 'sobbed' some more. They would a grow fat if they kept eating it up and it was exactly what she intended to happen. No one would ever find out. And if anyone ever did, they could not accuse her infront of Uther. Fool proof. That's what it was. The plan would work out perfectly.
Arthur was even taking on a few pounds. The hard armor that covered his fragile body wrapped around her in a returning embrace. It felt good to be with him again after so long, to be able to hold him and see him... But he was an obsticle. He was worthless to her. Morgana only needed Morgause and no one else. Camelot would grew large with the slow digestion of Morgana's staged return and then it would be all too easy.
"No. Don't be sorry." She chuckled lightly through her sobs as she usually would. "It wasn't your fault." It was Merlin's! She wished she could add. But with that would come an explanation at length... Morgana was not going to come up with a story quick enough. Though the thought of seeing Merlin being killed or poisoned made her feel as if things would be even and balanced.
He pulled away and Morgana put on her mask again. She gave him a smile and her hands caressed his face, lightly feeling his cheeks and forehead as if she were trying to compare it now to how she remembered him. "I'm a lot better now. I'm just so glad to see you!"
((thanks! Ya I love it too lol!!!! ))

Morgana could not have pulled off such a believable fainting spell without the effects Morgause's drought. And judging by Arthur's reaction it was all too believable.
Morgana had expected to feel the hard hit and sharp pain of her petite body falling onto the forest's untamed, used soil. She had braced herself for it but she felt no rocks, no branches, nothing that she had expected; Arthur had always been quick on his feet which could prove to be an obstacle in the future. Morgana didn't move, her body lay limply in his arms as he requested his cape and wrapped it around her. A sweet gesture. He cared. It made her almost want to be sick had she not still cared a little bit about him. Yes, she despised Uther and still planned to help her sister take Camelot but Arthur was practically her brother. But Morgause was her own kin, she was more important than Arthur.
Morgana opened her eyes slowly, almost as if she were waking for a short night of sleep. She was quite the actress and it far from her final scene. The show must go on. "Arthur." She wrapped her arms around his neck and held him close. "You can't imagine how happy I am to see you." She told him while she fake-sobbed into his armor.
(your post was great! Honestly. And thanks)

Morgana emptied some of the water Gwen had set for her this morning in her pitcher, into a vase so she could place the beautiful, simple flowers in it before they went too thirsty. She placed them nicely on her dresser next to the window for the sunlight to get to the plants while she heard Merlin walk back in. Morgana went to close the door once he was in and then went around to face him — though his head was down. "Merlin," she started, "I should have you thrown in the stocks or the dungeons — at the very least that's what Uther and Arthur would do to you. Invading my chambers. Preteneding to be my maid servant. Remaining in the roo while I undressed! Seeing me barely clothed!" She paused and looked at his hidden face.
"Uther would have your head, Arthur would be throwing a fit and would be looking fir a new servant... But I am not as cruel as them. I like you, Merlin. Like a brother or a dear friend. Even if I did feel anything more... I can't be with you... It wouldn't be right." It would be regarded as incorrect for nobilty to be with a servant. Morgana turned back to the flowers and smiled. "And you're lucky; I absolutely adore flowers." Her fragile fingers caressed a petal.

Her taste in men was perfectly fine and none of his business though she did not actually feel very much for Leon and a little less for Owain. "Come now, Arthur. You can't blame a Lady for wanting to spend the festivities with a strong, confidant, loyal, handsome and brave knight?" She pressed in a tease, removing a stray hair that had landed on Arthur's shoulder to make him seem lesser than what she had just said.
"Perhaps I will." Morgana could hardly believe he was going to let her go. But she was willing to see how far this would stretch. She turned slightlyto the side and slowly made her way over to Sir Leon.

It had been a long year. But the time had come for Morgana to return to Camelot one way or another. After being gone for so long, she couldn't just walk up to the kingdom as if there wasn't the slightest thing wrong with that picture. No. She would let them find her. Morgana had to be a little creative with her return and how they found her. Morgose set everything up with the bandits whom would most likely perrish at the hands of the Camelot knights — which they intended to have happen — and the rest was up to the Lady. How strange it would be... being the Lady Morgana again. No one had adressed her as such in the longest time... But she wasn't really who she used to be, now, was she?
Taking a small dose of a strange brew her sister had made, Morgana would soon feel its effects and it would make their finding her much more... theatrical. If she was going to be the center of attention why not put on a show. Smudging her face with a little dirt and butchering her hair, the drowsy, unbalanced effects of the brew wore in and it was time to say goodbye to Morgose who wished her luck. This was not a sad occasion, they would meet again soon.
Walking closer to the battle feild, walking clumsly through the forest and tripping over several branches, Morgana could hear the fight slowly come to an end until there was no more yelling or sword song. Show time. Stumbling towards the makeshift camp they had set up, Morgana stumbled through the fog feeling really lost the its thickness. She looked around for the knights, they wouldn't be too far now. She hadn't heard them leave yet either so thy were there. Somewhere. Stumbling a little farther, she looked over and froze at the sight of them... at the sight of Arthur... at the sight of Merlin.
"Morgana?" She had missed Arthur, no matter how much dislike she had toward Uther. He was still like a brother to her but he would never be her true kin like Morgose. She gave the faintest grin. "Arthur... ?" She said with a certain breathlessness. And she 'fainted'.
(isn't she just something? Lol drama queen) (( and yes, I said sword song lol. So poetic. Haha. ))

Merlin dashed outof the chambers but Morgana did relax her tight hold o her clothes. She stood watching the door for a moment as if she were making sure that he was not going to peer back in at any second. Looking down again at the flowers, she felt perplexed. The aroma was intoxicating and she understood why he would pick such flowers. But as much of a sucker she was for flowers she could not fall for Merlin nor let him on with error. Morgana sighed and put the flowers down on the table before turning to go change behind her shade.
Usually Gwen would do up the back of her dress, so it took a little longer thanit usually did for her to get dressed. Once she was done everything, the Lady opened the door. "Come back in, Merlin" She said, barely paying attention to his present state. She walked over to the table and picked up the flowers again but this time she was going to find them some water.

Morgana raised a brow when Guinevère thanked her for sending Arthur. Did she not know? "There was no way on Earth that I as going to leave you there and Uther forbid Arthur and I from going back for you..." That monsterous side of Uther, she hated it. She hated him when he was like that, loathed him. "When I actually came to see Arthur a beg for him to go and find you anyways... He had already been packing for quite some time. So I did not exactly send him. Your thanks is not needed here, Gwen."
"Lancelot? What in God's name was he doing there?" Morgana asked out of an amazed curiosity. But then she thought about it and looked at her friend. "Why do you tell me this while you look so glum? Did he hurt you?"

Morgana turned completely back towards him to face him properly once more. Her face wore a look of annoyance and unimpression as she listened to his reasoning. Lose her appetite? Who ubsurd. She wasn't that hungry to start out with, but still. How could the noble Owain makes her want to puke? His reasons were very obviously made up. Morgana crossed her arms and gave a little smirk. "Is that so?" She raised a brow. "If not Owian than perhaps another knight?" Her smirk grew a little. She was getting back him in a way. Teasing him back, now. His responce would be interesting, she predicted.
"Perhaps your colleage, Leon?" Her smirk was genuin now. "Unless you have a problem with that?" She would love to see him get out of this one. How could he talk badly about a kinght who was practically his right-hand man?

Sir Vaughn. The name certainly did not ring a bell and his face, slightly rugged, was not one she recalled coming across in the past. Morgana hardly turned red when she 'blushed' as other woman did as well. However she looked at the bowing knight as he spoke of the rumors of her beauty he heard tell of. She knew these rumors. She was definately not oblivious to them nor to what they were about. She was always rumores to be the greatest beauty around. The King of Camelot's Ward. The Lady Morgana. A rumored beauty everywhere, it seemed. As she listened to him go on about the ones he had heard did her no justice, and her free hand rested on her chest as he kissed her hand gently.
As he straitened up, Morgana took back her hand, letting it place itself by her side once more while the other hesitated a moment longer on her chest before lowering back to her side and her two hands meeting before her. "Thank you." She politely replied to his complements. "I am sorry I have not heard of you, Sir Vaughn." He was a very curious character and this intreeged her.

"You must sit down, then. I imagine you have been through a lot." Morgana was greatly conserned when Gwen spoke of needing to catch her breath. She motioned her to come sit ext to her on the bed. "No. Not as far as you'd think." She started to explain, remembering the run through the woods. How terrifies she had been. "I kept wishing I had not left you behind." She frowned. Thinks would jave been far more different if she had not left Guinevère behind. Perhaps they would have both found Arthur and both been saved that day.
"Then Arthur found me," almost killing me with his crossbow she added to herself, "and we came back to Camelot. I was greatly against returning without you." She had fought with Arthur about this, he even had he put on the horse by force so badly she didn't want to leave without Gwen. But it was Uther's orders for them to find Morgana and bring her back to Camelot safely. Morgana was greatful when she had run across their path at first but it never took long for her and Arthut to get into an argument and she rode behind him, angry, the whole trip back home.
"Uther didn't care to go find you after I was brought back to Camelot. He said there was nothing we could do to save you. It would break the treaty even more than it ready was." She remeberes that moment in the main chamber. She was furious, livid. The life of her servant was less important than that of her own?

Morgana greatly enjoyed festivities. The great gathering of all the noblemen, the towns people, the servants and royalty from kingdoms alike, coming together to celebrate. The Five Day Festivities were to celebrate peace between Camelot and its neighbouring kingdoms. It was a joyous occasion. Just walking into the crowd of mixed people, one could feel the jovial waves being immited by the crowds which, in resault, would make one feel as such too.
Morgana walked aimlessly around the room, often finding someone to dicuss with. Morgana was a true social butterfly, she was always very kind and curdious, as well as likable. Though she knew that it was greatly rumoured that she was perhaps the more beautiful lady of the land, which caught many knights' attentions. She didn't like to think of herself in that way but she could not lie and say she did not enjoy their company.
Morgana turned around at the sound of a man. "I believe he have not. What is your name, noble knight?"

Morgana gave a short laugh when Arthur followed her, telling her that he cared enough not to be off with another girl right now. This was comical. But what was truely comical was how obnoxious he still was. Arthur was far from a good thing, at least that's the way Morgana saw it right now. He was just infuriating. Arthur took her arm and stopped her. Sighing, she turned around to face him.
"You honestly expect me to just forget all of this and go eat with you?"

Merlin was a babbling mess infront of her. Morgana held tightly at the fabric of her dress to hide herself from him. Perhaps resigning to the cover of the screen would be a start but the Lady Morgana wished to see the servant as she demanded answers from him. His shadowed face turned scarlet and his stuttering was getting agressif. He wasn't answering her questions. He was barely able to put a sentence together! Morgana was going to temperaly put him out of his misery by asking him to leave for a moment but he shoved somthing in her face. Flowers. Oh, the Lady was a sucker for flowers. These were not very exotic but they were lovely all the same. Reajusting her hands on her dress so she could free one, she took the flowers from Merlin and looked at them for just a few seconds.
"Merlin." She started, looking up at him. "Please wait outside." Here eyes dropped back to the flowers. "And I expect you to still be out there when I go looking." Her eyes shot back up at him.

"No. You must see Gaius, I insist on it, Guinevère. I will bring you there right after we talk." Morgana was serious. She didn't want anything to happen to her maid servant and best friend. Gwen was too important to her, she was irriplacable. Morgana smiled widely and laughed a little. "Yes, I've seen him already. I just told you that. I'll be fine!" She giggled still as she turned toward the staircase, lifting her dress as she started to climb them and pull Gwen along.
Closing the doors once they were in the room — not letting Guinevère do it as she usually would — Morgana turned to go sit on her bed which was undone. She did not care. "Tell me what happened. Tell me everything!"

Morgana was overwhelmed, she never wanted to let go of Gwen. She was too happy to have her back safe and alive. Morgana pulled back but kept her friend in her hands. "You don't need to thank me for that! Come, I'll explain everything when we get to my chambers. And you have to tell me everything that happened! I've been worried sick." Morgana took Gwen's hand to pull her toward the staircase but stopped when she questionned her. "I'm fine. Don't worry, Gaius has taken care of me, my cuts will heal." She reasured her friend. "Perhaps we should have Gaius look at you."

Morgana had had enough with Arthur for one night. He was pushing it again and he went too far, again. It was enough. "We'll see just how fun you are when you don't have someone here for you to make fun of and insult!" She spat — not literally — at him before picking up the front of her dress and storming off. Arthur was insufferable! After a few steps, she stopped and turned around. "Really shows how much you care, Arthur." And she turned around to storm off again. WHERE WAS GWEN!? She needed her NOW!

Slipping into her undergarment — which was basically just a small dress — Morgana waited behind the screen for Guinevère to give her her gown. Morgana did not know how Gwen did it, but she always chose the right dress for the right day, it was amazing enough that she could choose just one out of the variety in the waredrobe. A quick tumbling sound came to ear before her dress was thrown over the screen carelessly. The Lady Morgana was startled by this, quickly running around the screen. "Gwen, are you alrigh—" She stopped with a gasp. It wasn't Guinevère that stood before her, it was Merlin!
Morgana quickly reached for her gown and held it against herself to hide herself from him. "What on Earth are you doing here!" She questioned in a loud tone. "Where's Gwen?" She demanded. Wasn't she just there a moment ago? Or had Morgana been talking to Merlin this whole time?
