Lunete would never have used suh language before her father--but he wasn't her father. Nor her brother nor her guard. He was . . . her friend, maybe. Maybe. She wasn't sure what she would really call him if pressed because she couldn't quite place him in any one single role. He reminded her that she was royalty, and for many it was just something they did. She didn't like the reminder from him. It didn't feel as easy. She could never explain why. Most the time she didn't even try too.
"Like royalty? I should behave like royalty, yes!" She said as if thinking and that she was willing. She squared her shoulders and looked around the room. "Let me ease your troubled mind," She began, using this own words back toward him. I know you are fearful of my fate, and positional dance partners at tomorrow dance; but fear not. I like it when the knights are bold." She liked that it made her feel special, and more beautiful then all the others. She liked it when the knights or lords danced with her, and made displays of (pretend) affection since they thought she would be queen. She knew they weren't real, but apart of her wanted them to be. She wanted someone who didn't hold back. The crown prince believed in being in control at all times, and she wanted someone who's passions matched her own.

Lunete smiled at him, enjoying a conversation for the first time in a long time. So many people wanted to talk with her about what happened, and she so very much just wanted to be as normal. “And yet, still referral about company,” she teased him back, but then wished she hadn’t. She wasn’t ready to end. “then most.” Lunete added, knowing that he would take advantage of it, but still unwilling to make him think she wanted him to away yet.
That was until the cad kicked dirt one her! He messed up her work! “I take it back, then all people!” Reaching forward to the dirt he messed up, she pushed to stand up and stepped closer to him holding it. “You never did outgrow that little boy you were all your life, did you?” Lunete took another step closer, the dirt still in her hand as she moved slowly closer. Let him step back if he wanted, she’d keep moving closer.
She rolled her eyes and turned away from him, giving up. Then in the las second threw it at his head. She might not be his queen, and he might e her prince, but she wasn’t going to let that stop her from getting even!

Lunete felt her horse jerk up and herself being tossed back. Since she had not been expecting it, she didn't even have time to brace herself! One moment she was sitting on her horse, knowing he was glaring at her back (or so she assumed that he would be doing! Little did she know--or believe that he'd actually risk her life by doing something stupid!
While she had done it to him, she knew he'd never fall. His skill was many times greater then her own.
Lunete found her back hitting the ground, knocking the breth fromh er for a few seconds. Gasping her eyes flew to her horse, which was galloping ahead! Turning to her side, she pushed up as best as she could with her breathing still labored and her backside bruised! Glaring at him, she wasn't so sure she was kidding when she thought about killing him this time! "One day, I will hang you for treason!" She bit out, knowing that HAD she been queen he could have been.

Lunete missed her father. For all his faults, and recently everyone pointed them out to anyone who'd listen, he was her father. Everywhere she turned, people were both sorry for her loss, and sorry that he had cost her so much--it made going anywhere she was known hard. Yet, with no money already, and what they did have growing short; Lunete had to take work. Her mother couldn't leave the house, which was no longer their estate but a small home in the city. Her mother was too embarrassed. She couldn't face anyone--which meant that Lunete needed to find work int he city that once expected her to be it's queen.
It was both humiliating, and humbling. Thankfully, the king (or perhaps his son) had taken pity on her and given her this job. It allowed her to work here and support her mother; without waiting on the ladies that had once been her friends. She didn't hate her job, in fact if she had to have a job this one was wonderful! She loved the garden! And in truth, now that the shock was wearing off, she remembered all the times she felt unsure about her marriage--even hesitant. Perhaps this was what she had longed for? A freedom from the limitations of being someone's queen?? Still, being queen was . . . .
Yes, she was conflicted about how she felt about it, but she was going to make this a good thing! A voice startled her, and she looked up from where she was planting some flowers. Her heart froze for a moment, as this was the first time she had seen him since THAT day. The day the king broke off the engagement in front of his family (THAT was humiliating). For a moment she only stared at him, until his causal words and tone settled in. Slowly her smile tilted her lips up. How like him. She'd thank him if it wouldn't make his head swell with his massive pride. "Never got tired of you." She returned, her voice making it sound like a good thing. She hadn't known how much this would mean to her, until he just . . . did it! "And, they never talk back! So there is another point to their favor."

Lunete couldn't quite adjust to this. She had known she would be his wife since . . . . forever. Yet it had always seemed this thing she would do 'one day'. Not tomorrow, or next year, or even in the next few years. It had always been this promise without end. Yet now, she was here engaged to the future king and she sat beside him with a bright smile on her face, but she didn't feel compleatly happy. Oh, she was happy! She was going to be queen! Yet she had always wanted something . . . more. More then being some king's wife. She always had a bit of a wild heart.
She leaned her head toward her soon to be sister and whispered something, making the girl giggle! Lunete was glad to have a sister! She had always wanted one and she adored Mirela! Hearing someone walk up toward her other side, she turned to look. Galahad. Mirela's brother. She supposed he would be her's as well, but he didn't looks brotherly. It was hard to see him in any other light then . . . Galahad. Sometimes she didn't even want to try to make him a brother, but she didn't question why.
Pinching her lips to keep from laughing up at him, Lunete rolled her eyes slowly, before tilting her head and letting him finish. Oh the arrogance! She only JUST managed not to laugh at him, and instead lifted her wine to her lips and drank before leaning slightly closer, looking up into his face and saying, "I hope someone mistakes your head for your arse, and knocks you on your back!" Her voice was low, as she then let herself laugh as if she was the funny one!

Lunete drew her horse to a stop when he so arrogantly blocked her way! Sometimes she wanted to just run him over with the carriage. Even when he smirked at her, and make her insides heat. She wished his brother made her feel that, but he didn't. Lunete figured it would take some time. A slow build up to their marriage. That was all this was, pre-marriage thoughts of wanting her freedom to choose her own life. She didn't just want to be queen, she wanted to be able to ride into which ever estate she wanted however she wanted!
"Well," She began, turning her horse sideways so she moved closer to him, "AS the future wife, of the future king, you should obey me and stop trying to make your head the first I take off!" It was a joke, even though her tone was exasperated, and they both knew it. They both knew that she had grown up with his teasing and it was common for her to mockingly threaten his life in various ways.
However, what was different this time was when she smacked the back of his horse causing it to rear up as she rode quickly around him and continued on her way. "I hope you fall!" She called back, but didn't bother to look--the knave was too good of a rider, and she knew it. Darn it!

Lunete was riding the horse instead of in the carriage. Mostly because the horse gave her a chance to see what was going on around her. They had been traveling for three days, and she had about had enough of HIM. Since they were getting close to the estate they would be staying at for the night, she was refusing to ride int he carriage for another moment! She wanted to see the great wide world! She wanted to ride the horse fast and feel the wind! She wanted an adventure!
Yet, her 'knight in too shiny armor' was set on keeping her from having any fun! Galahad should have been the one to let her ride off and have some fun before she married his brother; but instead he was set on annoying her. Just as she was set on avoiding him. If he rode near her, she slowed her horse; if he slowed his she sped up slightly. She liked Galahad (perhaps a little too much) but sometimes she wasn't sure if he was trying to be her friend or foe! Sometimes she wanted to kick him in the shins, and sometimes she wanted to push him in a lake! . . . and other times--Shaking her head she refused to give it voice. THAT though was only there when she was feeling lonely. Because most of the time, he was her friend. When his annoying goals were pointed at someone else!

| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:. Lunete is a happy person at her core, having sassy moments through out her day. She is bolder then her father liked, but it was never in her heart to not say what was on her mind. Later in life, she would try to learn to curb it, but especially with some people she never managed to. She has a quick wit, and a kind heart!
.:Special Skills:. She had been raised expecting to be queen, so her skills were in commanding the room, and politics; later she discovered she enjoyed cooking, and gardening. She has very minor skills with a sword, as her father used to teach her. She could manage against an untrained person, but NOT against a trained one.
| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |
.:Birthplace:. Airgíalla
.:Family:. Father: Auden (passed), Mother: Antia
.:Occupation:. Expectant Queen, servant
.:History:. Lunete was born on the night of the full moon, when it was bigger and brighter then most moons. Thus, her father named her for the clear and beautiful night! Auden was a noble, and close tot he king. Upon hearing he had a daughter, the men engaged her to the crown prince. Before she could walk, everyone knew that Lunete would be the next queen of Airgíalla. She was raised to be the perfect queen--her father sparing no expense on her. He'd assumed he'd get it back once she was queen. He began to enjoy the power that came with knowing his daughter would rule the land, and gambled deeply. When he died, he left his family with nothing.
The disgrace forced the king to break the engagement, and look for someone else more suitable to be queen. Lunete and her mother, had to leave their home, and find work int he city. It was hard, embarrassing, and her pride took a hit; but Lunete took work in the castle. She was hired to work in the gardens, the king (gracefully) giving her a job that wouldn't put her waiting on her friends--many of which abandoning their friendship now that she wasn't going to be their queen. Though still spoken to with respect, many are not sure how to handle her.
