.:Physical Appearance:.  Despite a relatively short stature when compared to most of his fellow knights, Gwaine is still broad and sturdy. His frame is quite compatible when it comes to swordfighting or a rumble with bare fists. He has shoulder length brown hair that often falls in front of piercing brown eyes. He sports a strong jawline constantly covered in stubble and always keeps a simple gold ring encircled around his neck.

.:Personality:. Gwaine is a free spirit and adventurer. His trust at times can be difficult to earn but his loyalty thereafter is unbreakable. Gwaine concerns himself with seeing all people being treated fairly and never hesitates to be the dashing hero of the day. Though he's quick with a smile, a joke or a drink, he's trustworthy and dependable.
.:Special Skills:. Gwaine is especially charismatic. He seems to have a golden tongue that can talk himself out of most troubles, however if and when that fails, his expertise with the sword always carries him through.

.:History:. As first-born, Gwaine admired and marveled at his brave and noble father. However, when Sir Lionel perished in battle Gwaine witnessed the selfish and dark side of the elite as his mother was denied any help from their king. The ordeal left a bitter taste in Gwaine's mouth and he developed a distrust of nobles and those born into powerful positions. He knew what was on the inside is what really mattered. Eventually Gwaine left his family to live the life of a vagabond, not attached to any person, place or thing and free from any sense of loss. It wasn't until he met Merlin that he realized how nice having friends could be. It took time but Gwaine eventually saw the good in Arthur as well and when the time came, pledged himself to his future king as a Knight of Camelot.
