.:Personality:. Nimueh is an extremely selfish person. She is obsessed with herself, and gaining power, and lesirue. She cares nothing for others, and would not lift a finger to help someone else. Being the hateful person she is, Nimueh is also very lonely. Deep inside there is a spark of humanity, however no-one she knows has the power to bring it out. Nimeh would never admit this, but at times she wishes she had someone else like herself to share her power and glory with.

.:History:. Twenty years prior to Merlin arriving in Camelot, Nimueh was a friend of Uther and Ygraine Pendragon
. She was a High Priestess of the Old Religion, and practised magic with Gaius. Uther and Ygraine were unable to conceive a child, and Uther felt he hadno choice but to use magic to do so. He asked Gaius te request Nimueh and make Ygraine pregnant. Nimueh did so succesfully. Dowever, in the laws of the Old Religion, in order for a life to be created, a life must also be taken. Ygraine was the life to be taken.

Uther blamed magic and Nimueh for his loss, and began to execute all those who practised magic. Nimueh was banished from the court, before vowing revenge for all the sorcerers who had been murdered.
