Hey yo everyone! Most people call me Am, cause its easy to say. I am 21 years old, legal all over the world now! Just thought I would throw that in there for fun. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia which is a small province in Canada. Not thrilled to be here cause I love the big city and when I say big city I mean places like Toronto. I was however born in Newfoundland and I am very strangely proud of that fact. I'm a NEWFIE! I have moved around a LOT, from Newfoundland, to Ontario, back to Newfoundland, and then to Halifax.
I live at home with my parents, and I have one older sister who is married. Oh and can't forget my cat, Misty, who always tries to compete with the computer for my attention. I attend university, entering my fourth and last year. I'm doing a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Sociology and minoring in Religion. Haven't decided what I'm going to do after . . . either law or teaching maybe? Oh well. I have time to figure it out!
I love traveling and have been very fortunate to be able to go all over the place! Saudia Arabia, Dubai, Pakistan, various States in the US, almost all over in Canada, Europe, etc etc. Some of my other hobbies are writing, playing pool, used to love fencing and horseback riding when I did it . . . I should probably not list everything otherwise I could go on forever! The two things I get super competitive in are ping pong and video games. Yes, I still love my video games
One of my OBSESSIONS has to be . . . TEA! Like coffee for Aatos, tea is my lifeline! I drink way too many cups a day, and love it every single time! Hahaha. I think I'll stop there and if I remember anything else, then I will add it!
Oh I thought to keep this thread going we could a few favorite things. So like this:
Favorite Animal: Favorite Color: Favorite Book: Favorite Movie: Favorite TV Show: Favorite Song: Favorite Food:
And I'll stop there for now . . . So, I'll start with these groups!
Favorite Animal: Horses Favorite Color: Black and then Blue Favorite Book: The Outsiders by S.E.Hinton Favorite Movie: I can't pick one so here are a few of my top favorites in no particular order: Lethal Weapon (All 4 of them!), Braveheart, The Exorcist -- will edit more in later -- Favorite TV Show: Again, can't pick one so here are a few: Merlin (OF COURSE!), Supernatural, Sue Thomas F.B.Eye and Third Watch (Both of which are not on anymore), The Tudors (just recently ended), -- will edit more in later -- Favorite Song: I have a bunch! I'll get back to you on this one, hahaha one that just popped into mind is War, What Is It Good For . . . so random! I actually LOVE foreign music, so like Indian, Arabic, Turkish, Spanish, etc! Favorite Food: Does Tea count? I don't care if its not food, I love it anyway! After tea, I love any and every kind of pasta! And can't forget calamari! YUM!

Hey everyone
I think that’s a pretty awesome idea to introduce us like that, and as I’m a copycat by nature I will of course go with the trend of highlighting xD
Some basic facts:
My real name is Myriam, which seems to be impossible to pronounce correctly even by my closest friends, and so I learned to listen to all kinds of variations. The tricky thing about the name is the “y”, but I’m sure the Finns on this board would sound it correctly, right, MYlikki? That’s why I usually go by Gwen on RP boards, but to not get confused with our Gwen, I will stick to Nim.
I’m 22 years old, turn 23 in February, but I don’t really look forward to it, cause in my opinion everything after 22 is just too close to 30 for my taste I’m from Germany, Southern Germany to be precise, a little university town called Tübingen, so I only am one hour closer to you than the Finns. Basically I started roleplaying because I wanted to keep my basic English level, and to work against semester break boredom. Now I’m starting my fourth year of Rping, and I’m more than hooked xD
When I’m not on the PC and not on semester break, I study in Tübingen. I recently got my BA degree in German Studies and History, now I am starting my MA in German Literature History, which basically includes Literature from day one to nowadays. I will specialize in medieval literature, cause I simply love the old stuff and the old language, particularly (of course!) the various Arthurian legends.
Sadly I have no pets at all, not even at home if you don’t count the varying small population of gold fishes in our little garden pond at my parent’s house. I live in a dorm, so pets are not allowed there, but as soon as I move to my own flat I will get myself a cat.
My hobbies are writing and reading, I devour books in a speed unknown to most people. My dream is to be a writer someday but I know my lazy butt and that it keeps me from sticking to bigger projects than short stories, though a few history novels are already outlined in several office files on my lappie. As you can probably tell by that, I’m a history geek], particularly medieval history, everything beyond the 16th century is not as important to me. Apart from that I also love languages, I learned a few already in school (English, Latin. French), and now at uni I took courses in Dutch and Romanian, and also like to toy with rare languages like Gaelic or Lakota. Not to forget my obsession with singing. I sing in a choir and a band. You can always catch me with a song on my lips, I'm quite famous for that. Whenever there is karaoke or such I'm drawn to it like moths to the flame.
My worst weakness is procrastination. I need a good kick in the butt sometimes and can’t work without pressure.
The land of my dreams is Ireland, I’ve been there twice already and it felt like home to me, but don’t ask me why. I will do a semester abroad there soon!!
Favorite Animal: Cat!! Apart from that falcons and wolves (the free spirits in animal world ^^) Favorite Color: varies… mostly between blue and green, so I often settle on Teal Favorite Book: too many to be named, I love the German classics like Schiller, Goethe and Hesse, but my favourite books are historic fantasy. LotR of course as well, everything by Marion Zimmer Bradley (especially Mists of Avalon!), The Blade Itself (Joe Abercrombie), Osten Ard Saga (Tad Williams)… Favorite Movie: Lord of the Rings (though not the end ), Stardust, Man in the Iron Mask, Elizabeth I&II, L’auberge Espangnol, Amélie, Saint Jaques, Vaya con Dios, Goodbye Lenin … Favorite TV Show: Merlin (yeah, who would’ve thought), pretty everything by BBC (Cadfael, Robin Hood, Lorna Doone, North&South,…) House, Vampire Diaries, Charmed, a few German TV shows… Favorite Song: too many and too much varying, but I love songs by Within Temptation, Delain, a few good German bands, Enation … Favorite Food: Spaghetti (I could die or would kill for that!) and local Southern German dishes
Woah, that was a loooong ramble, but I think now you know me pretty well xD

Hey guys! I'm Alice though I'm happy to just be called Lucy or variations thereof. I am slightly happy not to be the youngest here, but I am thirteen so I ain't too old. I am slightly disappointed in our supposed British culture, because I appear to be one of the only people here from England. I am also annoyed about this because if it wasn't for some people's amazing dedication at staying on until the small hours, I would be the only one on most of the time when I am on.
I own the fattest fish in the world called Prince. We recently discovered, much to my mother's dismay, that fish actually live for around twenty to thirty years. My mother dislikes my fish. Actually, come to it, so do I. He is the first fish in the world to perfect the art of playing dead. Every single person that has ever come round our house has taken one look at the fish and gone 'Alice, your fish is dead.' I used to screech. Now I just sigh, and tap the side of the bowl. One more thing about this fish-we bought it for one pound and fifty pence and so far it's been a lot more trouble than it's worth.
Anyway. I just wrote about fifty words on a fish. I am slightly obsessed by the beautiful French language, and I own a book of cartoons in French. I enjoy both reading and writing, and have nearly finished my first book. I also read books at frightening speeds, sitting on a bench I refused to be budged off. It was pouring rain today in our typical British climate and I sat there on this bench, holding an umbrella, eating my lunch and reading my French cartoon book.
Anyway, that's my life. Right there in that last sentence. ;D
Favorite Animal: Chipmunks? My friends call me Chipmunk because apparently I closely resemble one. My friends are cruel people.
Favorite Color: Green. Vert. Grun.
Favorite Book: Difficult, I think I might have to go with the 'Tortall' saga, or maybe the Alex Rider books. Harry Potter too. I also love The Shellseekers. Ah, well.
Favorite Movie: No idea. Anything remotely funny with no awkward bits.
Favorite TV Show: Merlin, obviously. Primeval I love, but I officially hate the writers for killing everyone off last season. I also fiercely cling on to Wacky Races and Scooby Doo. Ouch, so embarrasing.
Favorite Song: Depends. Anything with decent lyrics. My current obsession is Bruno Mars.
Favorite Food: Chicken and mayo sandwiches. Nothing can possibly beat that, unless it's chicken, mayo and stuffing sandwiches.

Guilty?!? Bruno Mars is AWESOME!! I dedicated Just The Way You Are as an Arthur/Gwen song! Love how he writes his own music and everything . . . . . who cares about his little run in with the law. Still think his music is great.

Boo, my sister made me watch the music video for "Grenade" and I cried. I mean, granted, I'm a pansy, but still. It was just so cute and sad at the same time. xD Grenade's her favorite song.
And Lucy - I know, right?! My friend Ashy met Tamora through the Make a Wish foundation and they've been e-mailing each other ever since, it's so hard for me to avoid begging to talk to her. xDDDDD You've read the Beka Cooper series, yes?

*Agrees with everything positive ever written about Bruno Mars* Grenade is just purely breathtaking.
Of course! Have you read the other three Tortall sagas? Song of the Lioness is the best...or maybe Protector of the Small...Agh! How can I choose?

Hello everyone! This is your new Gaius, but please address me as Roxana, or Roxie. Either of that is fine. I was born on November 8th and I am sixteen years old! I come from this little country known as Romania ( I don’t expect you to have heard of it ) and to be more specific, I live in Transylvania.I am Dracula. I have an older brother, who currently lives with his fiancée. I’m currently going to Literature Highschool, but I had to give up because I couldn’t travel by bus, and thanks to that I’m in perfusions now. I’m going back to the previous one, with Science, even though I don’t like it, I’ll eventually get used because health is the most important thing for me. I wish to be a translator someday and I hopefully will able to do so.
I’m part Hungarian from my father, and I have German blood running through my veins from my grandparents, though it’s hilarious because I cannot speak Hungarian nor German, only a few phrases. I really love studying about foreign languages, it’s like, my speciality !
On my spare time I usually draw, play guitar, sing, roleplay, read or write different stories. I also love to act, even though I’m not so good at it. It’s for amusement. I have a strange passion for drummers, does that even count? Not to mention, ღ British accents ღ . I completely die after them and if I were to meet an English person face-to-face I’d probably faint, due to me being very, very shy.
One thing, I also like to watch anime. I’m strange like that, but hey, it’s great. I am a metalhead. Totally. [ *cough*mybrothersfault *cough* ]
But anyway, it’s nice to meet you all!
ღFavorite Animalღ: Panther and wolf. ღFavorite Colorღ: Sky blue. ღFavorite Bookღ: Harry Potter? *shot* ღFavorite Movieღ: I don’t have one. ღFavorite TV Showღ: Merlin! ღFavorite Songღ: Anything by Muse. ღFavorite Foodღ: Salads![/color]

I think everyone who has heard of vampires/werewolves knows what Romania is! xD That's so cool, though, I've never met anyone who's so much as been there, much less lives there!
And pshhh, watching anime isn't strange. I just finished up the anime series Pretear (amazing!) last night and spent most of the morning reading the corresponding manga, hahaha.

Hello All
I guess that I should do this seeing as ive been on the site for a while!
Im Gina and I play Romily and Cenred. Most of you know me as Ro but I don’t care what you call me Im nearly twenty-one and from England. I work in a nursery looking after children and still live at home with the parents! I have four older siblings (two brothers and two sisters to be precise), so im the baby! It’s nice though because now im the only one left living at home!
Random fact of the moment is that im a quarter Polish on my mother’s side, however I don’t know anything of the language so it’s completely pointless! Lol.
I love music, I listen to anything from The Tudors soundtracks to stuff like Mumford and Sons J. I sing too and have done since I found that I could talk – I auditioned for X Factor last year (quite an experience that I wont be repeating!).
I love reading. – My current obsession is buying books and DVD’s. I could open my own shop judging by how many I actually have! I can spend many nights just in front of the TV with a nice cup of tea, biscuits and just watching Jane Austen based films. If only I could find a man like Mr Darcy! I also love The Tudors (as you can tell by my OC for Romily). Jane Seymour is my favourite character from the show even if she was there for just four episodes.
When im not run off my feet looking after kids I like to shop (Topshop is the most amazing shop in the world! I live in it!) and write fan fiction. I used to Role play on another site before I joined Camelot, but gave up for a few years to focus on my studies at college, now that’s over with im back in business! I also spend any weeks off that I have visiting my friends in Canterbury. I love it there and its refreshing to get away from home! I like going to London Expo when it’s on– they have lots of stuff there to do with Merlin, Doctor Who, Scott Pilgrim etc – and its great to see everyone dressed in their Cozplay outfits!
Anyway, anything else you wanna know then feel free to ask – I think I’ve covered everything!
Favorite Animal: Cats
Favorite Color: Lilac
Favorite Book: Chasing Daisy – Paige Toon or any books by her
Favorite Movie: I have far too many!
Favorite TV Shows: Merlin, Sherlock, Doctor Who, The Tudors, Supernatural, Top Gear, Gossip Girl, Miranda, The Promise
Favorite Song: Locked within the Crystal Ball – Blackmore’s Night
Favorite Food: Pizza

Hello all!
I'm Roz and I'm in south England, whoop whoop! I've just turned seventeen which is...lovely. I feel old and I don't like it. I'm about to take a load of AS exams in Eng lit, history & classical civilisation - I also take theatre studies but I finished for the year! - so at the moment my life revolves around revision. I really, really am living the dream.
Erm...anything else interesting? I'm a bit of a stalker. But only if you're an Irish Shakespearean stage actor. Or just an actor really...
My sister and I live in a wondrous land of Austen heroes, cake making and marry, date, push off a cliff. Yes, we are that cool.
If I could become a female Kenneth Branagh and spend my life adapting Shakespeare plays and lounging around a country estate eating muffins (obviously not in an agitated manner, else there'd be butter on my cuff) my life would be perfect.
If this has filled you with the desire to learn every intimate detail about my life you're really fuelling my narcissistic side - good on you! - you can just ask (Y).
Favorite Animal: Lemur/sloth Favorite Colour: Surprisingly enough green Favorite Book: Jane Austen, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Le Morte d'Arthur (even though it is the hardest thing in the world to read), Evelyn Waugh & graphic novels (mainly Marvel. Graphic novel Poirot happened. YEAH.) Favorite Movie: Gosh. Lots. Off the top of my head: Moulin Rouge!, A Knight's Tale, The Mummy, Ella Enchanted (yes, I am five), Defiance, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum Favorite Song: According to iTunes it's White Blank Page - Mumford & Sons Favorite TV Show: Haha, I watch far, far too much TV. Merlin, Robin Hood, Doctor Who, Hornblower, Blackpool, Life on Mars, Desperate Romantics, Misfits Favorite Food: Fish pie ^_^

I am a stay at home student with 2 younger brothers and a cat, a rabbit and a fish! I absolutely love all of them, but my cat's the quirkiest as she feels no pain as she often walks into windows, smacks her head off tables and licks glass [no joke].

Well, I suppose that I'd better introduce myself ;D. My name is Jonathan, and I'm 19. I've been roleplaying for about five or six years now. I think. My memory's not exactly the best (sometimes I can't remember what I've had for breakfast xD). Right now, I'm living in Wollongong, Australia, but I come a from small rural town in central-west NSW and that's where I consider home to be. I'm only in Wollongong because the university here is the only one that will let me do Geology and Creative Writing as a double degree. Appearance wise, I'm pretty average, being 5'7.5" tall and weighing about 58 kg (~129 lbs). I've got blue eyes, which are made even more so by my contact lenses (which, by the way, are strong enough to warrant a government subsidy xD), and my hair is a light brown. I'm currently in the process of going bald and, while it's not obvious to anyone who doesn't know me just yet, my sister isn't about to let me forget it. Skin wise, I'm pretty tanned, but the tan will be gone by the start of summer, since I'm not really an outdoorsy type and, with the exception of summer work with dad (who's an electrician), I don't get that much sun. I also have quite a few freckles, including a few that have managed to form on my head (I have no idea how they got there, my hat is pretty much glued to my head). My present goal in life is to get through university alive, and then to end up working in the mining sector. I'm hoping to write a book, screenplay or game script in my spare time and eventually get it published/filmed/made, Unfortunately, I have about six or seven ideas floating around in my head at any one time, most of them usuable for more than one medium, so I tend to use roleplaying as a way of forcing myself to write, and to clear my head. Þórodda is a nicer version of a character that I've had in my head for quite some time and hopefully she'll get out of my head and let some of my other character concepts breathe xD. One thing that you should know about me is that I loathe the cold. Seriously, I fricken' hate it. I can stand certain temperatures (it gets fairly cold where I come from), but I still hate them. I'm not a big fan of being overly hot (aka digging trenches in 35-40 degrees C heat), but I much prefer it to being cold. Also, I have never seen proper snow (only some icy stuff that had partially melted and then refrozen). Favorite Animal: The blue heeler. Seriously, I'm a sucker for them (it probably comes from growing up with one) Favorite Color: I hate this question. Why? Because I don't have one, but, IRL, everyone either asks why I don't have one or says "go on, you've got to have a favourite colour". Favorite Book: Hm. Currently a toss up between: - John Flanagan's "Ranger's Apprentice" series (awesomely sarcastic and badass character? Check. Hopelessly cheerful and equally sharp witted apprentice? Check. Awesomely skilled and smarter-than-he-looks swordsman? Check.).
- Sam Syke's "The Aeons' Gate" trilogy (foul, feral Elf equivalent? Check. Mismatched band of criminals, outlaws and general scum being forced to save the world? Check. Eloquent, polite, heavily tattooed pirates? Check.).
- Brent Weeks "Night Angel" trilogy (darkest novel for teenagers that I know? Check. Morally ambiguous characters? Check x 40. Awesome fight scenes? Check.).
- Suzanne Collins' "Hunger Games" trilogy (Children forced to fight each other to the death? Check. Deals with PTSD? Check. Female lead character who isn't super pretty and who puts her own needs below those of her family? Check.).
Favorite Movie: "The Odd Angry shot". It doesn't have the best script or the best actors or the best special effects, but it offers a really different perspective on the Vietnam war and looks at things from the Australian point of view. Favorite TV Show: Doctor Who, Merlin, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Silversun and Jeopardy. Favorite Song: "Stand Up and Fight", by Tursias. Favorite Food: Anything that's not a vital organ (although deep fried sheeps brain doesn't taste too bad. The texture, on the other hand...), a nut (I'm not allergic, I just don't like them), a fancy salad (I like my meat ) or purely vegetarian (with some exceptions).
