::vaughn:: She could be lying, but whatever motives she had for it, he would not understand. So for now, he would believe her. "Rather odd, since you said it went to the males. Perhaps your brother is more feminine than you, and the genders were completely switched, somehow." He was kidding of course. Though she did display rather masculine qualities. First of all, she dressed as a knight. That was enough for her to be mistaken as a male.
Seeing her array of emotions, he did not bother pin pointing every one. He just waited for all of them to eventually leave so that he could hear the answer to his question. Which, was not very satisfactory. But Vaughn did not care about limits. He did not care about asking what could be classified as inappropriate. Nothing he said showed that he had any decency. "Under what circumstances did he die then? Surely you must know something." Really, it was to satisfy his own curiosity more than anything else. "Under what circumstances did he die." In battle? Random disappearance? A strange illness?

::vaughn:: That would explain it. If it was draining then it would make sense for her not to do it that much; and therefore, why it had taken Vaughn so long to know about it. Interesting. He seemed to learning a great deal of her secrets. Then again, what was one too many? He was already blackmailing her. It would not get much worse than that. All that would change is how much he blackmailed her and what he asked for as payment, as he would still entertain the less, innocent forms of payment.
"If you are tired now, I can escort you to your chambers and help you, relax." Yes. Even in a moment where she was explaining her special gift to him, he would still throw out suggestive comments. Surely she would expect them by now. But he brought the conversation back around. "And you are the only one in your family who has the ability to do this?" Curious indeed.
Vaughn knew that most people were upset with the death of a family member and she would definitely be one of those people. She had already displayed strong ties to everyone in her family. Unless she was not close to her father, then she was upset over the thought of his death. Yet, it was something that Vaughn was going to question. He was not a compassionate or sympathetic man. He would keep bringing up subjects even if they made the other person uncomfortable. "How did he die?" His voice lacked any sympathetic tone. In fact, it was asked with no emotion and far too casually.

::vaughn:: Vaughn was having great fun. The night was turning out to be far more amusing than he had initially predicted. Alegra never failed to provide him with that constant humor. His eyes went towards the general direction that she had instructed that her mother would be at. She was easy to recognize, since Vaughn had spent a rather significant time with her. And here he was again, with Alegra linked at his arm, and with what others thought to be, a rather romantic couple. Oh how very wrong they were.
"Now, be on your best behavior," he in a low voice barley above a whisper while leaning his head down a bit so that it was right near Alegra's ear. He kept his gaze forward and only seconds later, they were standing near her mother. "Lady Silvertongue," he greeted, allowing a smile to spread on his lips. This smile was not the kind of smirk he so often gave Alegra when it was just the two of them in private. It was a more charming, less perverted smile. "It is so wonderful to see you again," he added, his voice sounding genuinely excited.

::vaughn:: Vaughn's glance was averting to different locations that she randomly appearing in, and then disappearing from. It amused him. He was not shocked by her actions, even though he had not expected them. He had seen a great deal of things in this world, none of which fazed him and this would not be the exception. Still, it was an interesting gift and ability to possess. He wondered how she used that. Or if she used it. She had not utlized this ability when she was sorely outnumbered with the bandits, so maybe she tended to keep it to herself. Vaughn smirked when she came back from her disappearing act. "This certainly gives me more leverage against you." He just had to say it. He was not going to spout words of admiration or act impressed, though it was without a doubt fascinating.
"This gift of yours could serve many purposes." Sneaking in rooms for one. "There must be a downside," he added expectingly. And now, it was back to story time. Little did he know how much he shared her thoughts on not understanding why one would end their life over someone they supposedly loved. It was a ridiculous notion. How could someone allow themselves to be so foolish, as to truly believe they were in love with a person and therefore, could not exist without it. Ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous.
"Such a dramatic history," he commented, still not even bothering to understand why someone would go through all the trouble for someone else. It was not worth it. Especialyl since in the end, they both wound up dead. "And then what of your father?" The question was asked assuming that her father was one of the older sons, and in addition to that, he was questioning what happened to him and why the estate stayed in their name.

::vaughn:: Vaughn once again chuckled as the boy suggested the possibility of the Prince killing him. "It is quite possible indeed," Vaughn said casually. It was apparant that he did not care about the boy's well being, and that the idea of him dying over this was not something that bothered or disturbed Vaughn the least bit. He did not feel an ounce of remorse over what could be a bleak future for the boy. "And hopefully, it will happen," he added, just an added comment which he hoped instilled some fear into the boy and made him continue to realize how little Vaughn valued the child's life. "It is a shame I will not be there to witness the aftermath of your irresponsible actions." Now, he was just vocalizing his previous thoughts, able to do so in a far too amused tone of voice.
Vaughn actually had not planned a way to ride the horse out. It would be far too easy to recognize. Perhaps they would have to change the plan a bit. "I will not leave until night fall," he informed him, as if that had been his plan all along. It had not. He was merely thinking things through as he said them aloud. "I will remain here until then, and when the city sleeps, I will make my leave with the Prince's prized animal." Oh how Vaughn was terribly excited to do such a thing, and to see the boys face as he rode away.

::vaughn:: Vaughn had really not expected her to invite him back to her camp. He was not one to reject such an offer however. Perhaps he had misjudged her. Perhaps she was in fact that kind of woman who invited strange men from the woods who had seen her naked, to her camp for a meal and, whatever else. He noticed her glancing behind every so often during the walk to their camp. She either did this to see if he was still following, or to see if he was going to draw a weapon on her and pose to be a threat. There was no fear in her eyes however, so for now, he would assume the first possibility.
His name. "You are right; you do not know what it is," he said, pointing out the obvious. To reveal his name was not a big deal to him, but for some reason, it was something that was always drawn out and turned into a larger mystery than Vaughn initially thought. Still. It was fun. "Such a beautiful name, suiting its holder extremely well," he complimented, avoiding the subject of his own name. Mainly because, she had not yet technically asked it; so why not hold that element of mystery for just a few moments longer.
Vaughn looked at the camp she had set up. Weapons, belongings, it seemed she settled here for most of the day, if not longer than that. He was about to make a bit of a perverted comment when she said that she had to change, but she was out quicker than he thought she would be. Oh well. He was sure he would have more opporutinities since he planned to be here for a bit. "And who else will we be expecting for dinner?" He asked, taking out the fish. Was it a lover? Brother? Father? Friend? Someone that would have a problem with a strange man being here? That would be great fun.

::vaughn:: Vaughn was aborsbing all of this information. He did not even glance towards the room he would be staying at. He kept his gaze forward and continued to listen. Had she just said her family had a history of magic? Interesting. "So you have this ability as well then." Just another thing to use her against her, but she did not seem to care. It was not as if he was going to drastically increase the amount. His motive was not to make her bankrupt, as he had previously established. It was merely to make some money, and have fun while doing it.
When she explained that they married to keep the other silent, Vaughn found himself chuckling. It was a bit closer to laughter than most of the other times. He just found it incredibly entertaining. "Your family seems to have a history of blackmail," he pointed out, still chuckling over that fact. "Perhaps you will follow in his footsteps," he added, suggesting that he would make her marry him just to keep her secret. Of course, he would never do such a thing. Marriage was he further thing from Vaughn's mind. In fact, it was not something he ever considered doing in his life. Still. To wed with someone only because you felt trapped, that was downright hysterical.

::vaughn:: This boy certainly knew a lot about horses. Did Vaughn care to know what kind of breed it was? Not at all. All that mattered was that it could move and prove to be a good mode of transportation. Oh, and that Neav would get in trouble over this entire thing. "I will look after him as I would any other horse." He was not promising the boy anything. He would not go out of his way to make sure his horse was happy. He would feed it when it wanted food, as it would be rather useless if it had no energy in it.
He then chuckled at the boy's story. "As long as you can tell such a lie without getting nervous to the point of giving yourself a way, then it is indeed a believable story." This boy seemed very nervous though. Shy. Stammering. Would he be able to pull it off? Oh how Vaughn wished he could stay to see it and it would be all the more entertaining if he failed. Vaughn began to walk closer to the animal, inspecting it to make sure it was satisfactory. "And what do you think the Prince or King will do once you reveal your disregard for the animal?" The horses seemed well groomed and the boy seemed to take a great deal of pride in his work, so to attempt to annoy the child, Vaughn made it sound like that it was in fact his uncaring behavior towards them that made him lose this animal: Rising Sun, as he called him.

::vaughn:: Vaughn did indeed notice that she cut her skin on the blade, and this only gave him an excuse to gently wipe the blood away from her cheek with the thumb of his hand that held the dagger. So she was not a promiscuous woman. She had her morals and values. Pity. But she also was not going to completely discourage his efforts when it came to getting something in exchange for her belongings. Was she inviting him to her camp? This only made him grin even more.
"I accept your invitation." And he would think on what he wants in return from her. He had no specific ideas yet, even though he knew she would not have given him what he had been implying. "Should I expect to be in the company of anyone other than yourself at your camp?" Did she have others with her? Or was it just her. Vaughn did not care which way it went. Of course, if there was some sort of ambush he would have to defend himself. He took a few steps away from her, picking up the fish he had killed earlier.
"I am sure we can find a way to, satisfy that hunger of yours." He said it in a suggestive way, but meant it in the food way. He was after all human, and he too needed to eat. "Shall we?" He asked, motioning for her to lead the way to her camp, expecting her to walk back still only half dressed. She was so casual about the entire thing. Even with the dagger being so close to her. This only intrigued him further.

::vaughn:: When she came close to him once again, and let her finger trail down his throat, he just smiled at her. They were very close and he leaned in just a bit closer. Close proximity did not seem to be something that intimidated her. Maybe she did not value her personal space as much as other people. No. She did not. Not if she was teasing him and touching him, even if it was in a more innocent manner. "Would you give up your virtue, to have your possessions back?" He asked, vocalizing his previous thoughts of wondering how far she would go. They were just pants after all. If she really was a, decent, as Vaughn assumed her to be then she would not give such a thing just for her pants back. Unless she had already lost it before.
He held her dagger in one hand, and had a firm grasp of her pants in her other hand. Taking the dagger, he stroked it across her cheek, not cutting or penetrating her skin. It was a light graze, certainly not enough to cut her. It was just done to show that he was not planning to give the dagger back anytime soon either. That now, he had her pants and her weapon so that he expected more if she wanted either, or both things back. Truthfully, Vaughn did not expect anything, but that was not what he was trying to show.

::vaughn:: Vaughn chuckled again. She seemed to be humoring him, but within her own limitations of course. It was however, working, and he was rather enjoying this conversation he was having with her. Of course, it did not hurt that she was only half dressed. "Anything that covers it, hides it." Did this mean she wore pants more often than not? He was curious as to the reasons, and would ask in due time, or at least try to draw the information from her. He continued to hold her pants away from her, despite her efforts to get them. He was not quite ready to give them back yet, and wondered how far she would have to walk to get another pair, or if she even had one. "And as I said, it is such a shame to hide it," he repeated, emphasizing his comment on her having a nice figure.
Vaughn did notice the belongings she dropped, including the dagger. She had a weapon. Was she trained to use it? He quickly bent down to pick up the dagger, looking at it and its intricacy before turning back to her as she asked again for her pants. "If you are willing to give anything, then you should not be giving exceptions by what falls within your reason." How far was she willing to go to get these pants back? Vaughn may be many things, but he was not one to force certain things upon a woman. He found no need for that. But, as he was still a stranger to her, she may not be aware of that yet. "The question is, what are you willing to do to get them back."
His question was clearly a suggestive one. Was she a woman with virtue? Or was she one who did not care. From how she spoke so far though, he was led to assume she was one with virtue. She was clearly not comfortable with his presence when she bathed, and not now when she was only half dressed. So Vaughn was curious as to hear her answer to his question, and whether she would return the teasing, or if she would shy away.

::vaughn:: Vaughn watched the man storm off. He had no sympathy for Neav for having to deal with such a man; he just did not care. He made his way over to the stables, leaning on the wall, watching the boy carefully. He had missed Neav talking to them, so just watched the boy as he tended to them. "Are you grooming my soon to be horse?" He asked, smirking. All of the hoses looked like they were well kept indeed. And nothing less would be expected of the king and prince's animals. He would take one, only because he could. Only because it would mean that the boy would get in trouble over it.
Vaughn's only regret, was that he would not be there to see the look on the Prince or King's face, and he would not be able to witness the boy's punishment for his irresponsibility, even though Vaughn knew full well that he had threatened the boy into giving a horse to him. Then again, would Neav tell them the truth? He may as well try to find out as much as he could since he would be there to see the aftermath. "How do you plan to explain the sudden absence of one of the horses?" He asked, still smirking and still amused as he questioned what story the boy would make up, or if he would in fact tell the truth.

::vaughn:: Vaughn had not expected her to encourage the closing of the distance between them, though it was indeed a pleasant surprise. His expression was a smirk, as if it was permanently fixated on his face since the moment he had seen this woman. Had she remained close to him for a second more, he would have most definitely kissed her. But she had moved away, and her words made him chuckle. He remained standing, watching her every move as she gathered her things and began to walk away, turning her head while doing so. Was this really going to be the extent of their encounter? Did she really not want her pants? Not that he was going to be so quick to return them.
While she walked away from him, he kept his gaze forward as she spoke. "Come on. What ever happened to art of reciprocity." He would still entertain the idea of getting a reward more intimate than a mere thank you. He then looked at her. "I do not think the pants suit you very well either. It seems to be such a shame to hide such," he paused, drawing out the end of the sentence as he allowed his eyes to very slowly scan over her body, as if he was inspecting it far too carefully. "A beautiful figure."

::vaughn:: Noble. Knight. Vaughn had to hold back a laugh. After all, there was nothing evidently funny about what she said. It was only amusing to him because such words could not be further from the truth of who he really was. Yes; he dressed like a knight and therefore was expected to be a man of nobility, but he was so far from your average knight. And the Lady Morgana would have yet to realize this. He still positioned himself, lowered in a bit of a bow as she turned to face him and he got a better look at her.
"Sir Vaughn, My Lady," he answered in a very polite voice. "And you must be the Lady Morgana. I have heard rumors of your beauty though they do not nearly do you justice, for you are far more radiant than any words could have the power to describe." He smiled as he gently kissed the top of her hand. He was trying to sound as charming as possible, wanting to get on her good side, for now. Who knows what could come of it, but as he was forced to be on his best behavior in such a public setting, why not make ties with the more interesting people, and those who held great power.

::vaughn:: Vaughn had to make sure what would ordinarily be a smirk, was actually just a smile instead. "I would truly love that." But again, not for the reasons one assumed. He enjoyed the fact that he was in her mother's favor, only because it was so very the opposite with Alegra, or so he assumed. What man would be in the favor of a woman he was blackmailing anyway, or even one he had allowed a group of men to attack. The entire situation was all too funny. Alegra would indeed be someone he would see on a fairly frequent basis throughout the course of his life however, and now, he would see her for the next five days, if he decided to stay for the entire duration of the celebrations.
"Excuse me ladies," he said a he lowered his head in a bit of a bow. "I will only keep your friend for a short while. I will not deprive you of her wonderful company for too long." His voice was polite, and had a bit of a flirtatious tone to it. He offered his arm to Alegra, so that she could link her own through it. "Shall we?" He asked, in a very gentleman- like way.

::vaughn:: It was probably a good thing that she had checked to make sure he was paying attention. While he practically listening to every word, the fact that he was not looking at her may have suggested he was not actually listening. He was however, remembering every single word. She seemed so excited and practically beamed when explaining this story. Her family, and their history was clearly something she took a great deal of pride in. It was not the shallow pride either; it was more the genuine kind. Of course, pride was pride, one way or another.
When she looked at him, feeling his eyes on her, he turned his head to look at her. "Carry on," he said in an emotionless voice, smirking at her enthusiasm for telling this story. He thought it was rather amusing. If ever asked about his family name, he would tell the story, but have no pride in it. If he had any, he would not have left them in the first place. He would have cared that he was disinherited. But he did not, and he never would. Perhaps one day he would return to see if there was anything left of the Adeney estate, but until that day, he would forever leave it as a memory.

::vaughn:: Vaughn was not blind to the excitement that appeared in her once she heard his question. He did debate changing his mind. But he wanted to know the facts of the estate. Why? Because it was knowledge. If there was one thing that Vaughn had acquired throughout his years of travel, it was knowledge and information. Some of which would be useful, other cases was the exact opposite, it was useless. But he would take the risk of knowing a few useless bits of information if it meant that one day he could learn something that would prove to be advantageous for him. This could be such a case.
"If you would like to visit my chambers later on tonight, it would indeed make a good bedtime story." He was once again, throwing out flirtatious comments as he could not resist. He knew however she would reject such a possibility. "Then again, saying it now could fill the silent halls. So tell me Lady Alegra, what is the history of your estate and title."

::vaughn:: Normal? Vaughn chuckled. "I realize you have not known me for long, but since you have first met me, when have you known me to do anything through normal means." Was allowing a group of bandits to attack a woman, normal? Was blackmailing her for sheer pleasure, normal? Vaughn did not believe it was. Not from what he had seen of the world this far. "I will have no preference among the male servants. Send whichever you believe to be the most, efficient." He wondered if she would. Or if she would do the exact opposite. Either way, he would have to display patience and charm, no matter how incompetent they were.
"I would have thought you would be more excited to hear my decision over staying for an extended amount of time," he said, in a mock disappointed voice. He knew of course she would not be, but had to point out her evident sarcasm at hearing the news. "I suppose you would not know the history of your own estate either." He was indeed curious, even if he was indifferent.

::vaughn:: "Well I should not disturb your brother then," he told her. He was not going to concern himself too much with getting on her brother's good side. Mainly her mothers, because it was funny if nothing else. Because if he was going to continue to play the role of her 'potential suitor' and visit her house with open arms, then he would have to continue to be in her mother's favor. On the other hand, it would indeed be fun to sneak in the estate. A challenge in nothing else. That was just so much more difficult when his face was already known to everyone inside though.
"You will not have to tell her anything My Lady. I can tell her myself." This was his subtle hint to her that he planned to see her mother at some point within the next few days. Maybe even tonight. "It would be my utmost pleasure to be in her company again. Two women of the Silvertongue family in one night. Could a man be any more fortunate than I." A rhetorical question. A rhetorical and sarcastic one.

::vaughn:: Well, that was rather disappointing. "Come now. Where is your sense of fun. It may do well to be acquainted with all the servants in the estate." He would certainly find it more fun if it happened to be a woman, but he could not roam around the estate in search of one. "No matter. I am sure I will meet her some time within the next few days." Yes. Days. Vaughn had said that he was going to stay a few days. In reality, he was not yet certain how long he would be here for. He would just take it as it came.
He followed her, trying to make sure he remembered how to get in and out just in case he would need to be sneaky. "How many chambers do you have in here?" Just in case he would not be able to get a full tour, he wanted to have a vague idea of just how big this place truly was. Outside appearances could be deceiving, though thus far, it proved to be rather enormous and well built.
