Camila sat in bed holding her legs up to her chest, resting her chin on her knees with the blankets pulled up to cover her. This wasn't her bed. This wasn't the bed she had slept in her entire childhood. It wasn't the bed she shared with her husband either. This bed was foreign to her even though she had been sleeping in it for a few days now. In fact, Camila had hardly been sleeping at all for many reasons, the main being that she was sleeping alone. Yes, she had slept alone for the majority of her life but not only had she grown accustom to sharing her bed but because of why she was sleeping alone.
Lucan had been gone for weeks, over a month, on a quest with some other knights somewhere that she wasn't aloud to know and she had no idea when he would be back. It was worrying her endlessly. She couldn't write to him anymore than he could to her and not having any news from him was dreadful. She had spent most of her days wallowing in her sadness and worries in their bedroom for weeks before Caitrin and Griff decided it was time for her to come stay with them instead of being alone in the Estate with only the servants. This was why Cam now found herself in a bed in the Archer Estate, alone and tired. But what was probably worse about not having Lucan with her was that she had just learned some news.
Eventually, Camila got out of bed, got dressed and went to find her sister-in-law. She was sure that she would be needing help with the twins. Finding out that she was in the solar, Camila pushed open the doors to find Caitrin nursing. Of course, she was covered, though. Cam found it was interesting that Caitrin nursed her own children, it wasn't the traditional method but Cam liked the idea; the twins seemed to really be attached to their mother because of the bonding experience.
"Morning Caitrin." Camila forced a grin as she closed the door behind her. Walking over to the empty chair next to her sister-in-law, Cam sighed. "I find that it would be useless to lie to you and say that I did, Caitrin." She admitted, pulling the basket that her nephew sleeping in and picked him up, seeing that he was getting restless. Cam rocked him carefully and looked over at Caitrin. "How about you?" She asked. Hopefully the twins hadn't woken her up too much.

One year ago, a stone which was once lost and forgotten was found. The boy who found it didn't know what it was. He thought he had found a precious jewel, something he could use to make into a necklace or ring for his mother. The boy was none other than Albus Severus Potter. This precious jewel is not what it appears to be. Albus is learning this quickly, among a few other things.
Peace is just a delicate dream and it is coming to an end.

Lucan raised her chin, forcing her to look at him. There was something about those eyes that always got her, even with the look he had in his eyes now. His comment didn't make her more embarrassed, surprisingly. It made her weak in the knees. She almost wanted him to just take her to their room right then. Lord knew he would.
She grinned, happy that she won this 'fight'. "No, you won't argue with me." She repeated, smirking a little now. "My dear old friend Arthur won't argue with me either." Cam said, poking his chest. Arthur was at their wedding, she was surprised he hadn't said anything then, but she was sure he would be more than understanding for any knight. But since Camila was going to ask him, she as sure she could get an extra week on top of the time he would give Lucan off. If not, she would have to pull out her best tricks, and he knew them all by now.
Camila smiled when he finally kissed her, even though it was a small kiss. She laughed lightly when he called her a tease, resting his forehead against hers. She opened her mouth to reply but Thomas walked into the room. Just like Lucan, Cam pulled away. But now she had reason to be embarrassed a bit. When he finally left, Lucan turned back to her. Cam put her hands on his chest and got very close to him, her lips just barely touching his. "Hm. I think you were saying that I was a tease, my love." She purred, running her hands up to his shoulders. If he was going to call her a tease, she would go ahead and be one.

Cam felt unbelievably embarrassed now. She really shouldn't have said that. It was highly inappropriate, and entirely unlady-like. Yes, she was a rather unusual lady but a lot had happened in her life since her days of teasing and tempting men. Even then, what she had said would have been unbelievably wrong to her as well. But... Luc was her husband. She didn't have to worry so much, right? It still felt wrong. Camila looked away, at the ground, when Lucan replied to her. She was just red with embarrassment.
When Lucan held her tighter, Cam did her best to hide any sign of pain. Luc didn't need to know she was sore, he'd go killing himself over it, thinking it's all his fault. Which was true but no matter what it was going to happen. No, Camila didn't need to him to worry about her. She wrapped her arms around the back of his neck before he started to trail kisses down her face, stopping at the corner of her lips just to tease her. It wasn't like her heart wasn't already beating fast enough, that he had to go and do that. "And I wouldn't know what to do without you, either." She smiled at him lovingly. He was so good to her, he was her world. She felt too lucky. "I will still go and see Arthur tomorrow, as planned, and we'll see if I ask him or not." She smirked a little. Arthur would be more than glad, for sure.
"Hm. Well, I think breakfast would be good. Then I'm going to change and I have something I want to show you later. Or tomorrow." She smiled and put her hand on his cheek. "But first, you still have to kiss me."

Cam knew that there was a lot of stuff her husband had to take care of with his father and his Estate, among other important things. "I know." She sighed and looked around. "But the only thing that should be keeping you up at night is me." She said in a low tone. It wasn't something appropriate to say, she knew it, but it had to be said. Nobody should ever know she said that.
"Alright." She said, nodding before his next question made her grin a bit and nod again. Luc wrapped his arms around her waist sending a static feeling through her body that she didn't think would ever stop to happen each time he held her and she looked up at him, smiling. "I know you do. I love you too." Cam swept her fingers across his forehead, pushing aside his hair. "You know. I'm going to Camelot tomorrow to visit Arthur... I could ask him to let have some more time off from training, if you'd like? You'll have more time to sort things out with your father and the Estate, and you can spend more time with me. And sleeping." She told him, running her thumb under his eye. He looked really tired.

Lucan looked exhausted, why was he up? He should have stayed in bed, with her. Cam forced a little smiled when he kissed her only because she was still concerned about him. "Well, I looked over and saw that you were gone." She explained.
Camila was very upset about this. They had just gotten married and he had to go back to train the day right after? Cam didn't respond to him kissing her, she just looked at him. "Lucan, we just got married and you're going to train? You do that every other day. Why do you have to go today?" She took on of his hands off her face. "As far as I remember, more than half of the other knights were at our wedding or aware of it." She sighed. Heck, even Arthur Pendragon knew about the wedding! She really didn't want to sound ungrateful or anything, and she very well could have yelled all of this right in his face. But it wasn't Lucan's fault exactly, was it? Well, sort of.
What was she supposed to do with herself while he was gone? She supposed she could get a servant to put her things in order, now that she was Lucan's wife she would be staying with him so her things would have to be put away and organized properly. But even that didn't seem like enough to do in so little time...
(Cam and Arthur were good friends when they were little and stuff, so she would have invited him, obviously or at least told him about it. Didn't want to say that he came to it. ) ((I know what she can do while he's gone, so I dunno if he's going to leave or not but I have the back up ))

The previous day had been everything she had dreamed of. Camila's parents had spared no expense for her wedding day, yet it was still a small, elegant ceremony and reception. They had gotten married in a church in the Glouchedon area to be closer to the Aubert Estate where they had had their reception and Cam had worn the most extravagant dress she could have ever dreamed of. Lady Eloise, her mother, had sent out of a greatly renown tailor in the next Kingdom over and it had taken about two weeks for her dress to be made, Eloise had made sure that the tailor's attention be solely on her daughter's dress. Cam loved her mother, truly, but she really did try too hard. Has he dress taken a month, it would not have mattered, it had been hanging in her closet for another month afterwards.Â
Now, she was Lady Camila Aubert and, while she was at it, she guessed, she was now the future Duchess of Glouchedon. Oh how the former sounded fantastic and the latter sounded important and slightly terrifying. But it wasn't for the names and the status that she married Lucan, she married him because she was madly in love with him. He was her everything. She did miss the incredibly shy side of him she had met back at Morgana's return celebration however she did see that she was far more shy now and he, far more brave. Perhaps it was from facing the harshness of Morgana's reign but Cam found they were somewhat better this way.Â
When Camila woke up, she knew for sure that none of the wedding had been a dream for sue found herself in a room that was not her own. Well, she supposed it was considered so now. Looking over next to her, she found the bed to be empty and frowned. She didn't know what she had been expecting but she had at least hoped that Luc would have been there.Â
Getting up was painful; Cam felt sore but had expect as much. Her mother hadn't missed out on tell her that, among other uncomfortable topics. But she put on a brave face and was not going to breathe a word of it to Luc about it; it wasn't something you spoke about, especially not to your husband, her mother had said. Besides, Camila didn't want Lucan to worry about her; the pain would ease.Â
She found, after a short search if the room, a light morning gown to wear until she actually got dressed for the day later and slipped on some flat shoes before bushing her hair quickly and exiting the room. Camila wasn't familiar with the Aubert Estate, not in the slightest. Perhaps she should have paid some attention to it before. But whether or not she knew her way around the Estate wouldn't help her know where Lucan had gone off to.Â
After a long time of walking through every and any corridor and hallway, Cam looked into a room and found him. "Lucan?" She said after a moment or hesitation, unsure of what he was doing.Â

Was he really serious? If this was going to go on the whole time he was here... Cam took in consideration telling Lucan about this later but she wasn't going to have him take care of her problems for her. She was very capable of taking care of herself. Although, she could hold it over Griff...
Once in the study, Camila looked over her shoulder. "I'm going to ignore that one, Griff." She sighed before she sad down in one of the chairs and took a sip from her cup before turning back to her possible future brother-in-law. "So, what do you do, Griff? It's quiet obvious you're not a Knight of Camelot and I highly doubt you do much more than spend your days in taverns but surely you must do something to keep ale the coming? Or do you just take from your brother and father?" She raised an eyebrow before taking another sip from her drink.

Once in the solar, Camila motioned her guest to sit before she did the same and waved down her servant Theodore for refreshments. He gave her a pleased smile and was off. Cam turned back to Caitrin and smiled. "It's nice to see you again as well, Caitrin." Light pleasantries. But nothing felt all that awkward. No, Camila truly hoped that she and Caitrin would get along. They would be seeing a lot of each other from now on and would be sisters-in-law in good time. But Cam wasn't going to bring up the subject of Cait's engagement to Griff and how it was going. No that was a conversation best saved for later, if even then.Â
"It was a rather special time, wasn't it?" Camila laughed lightly and gave her guest as grin. "I've been fine, Lucan was over only a few days ago. I'm expecting a letter from him soon, God knows what he's off doing this time but I really wish it wasn't taking so long this time around..." Cam drifted in the end. After a few seconds she looked back at Caitrin with a smile. "How have you been?" She really wished she hadn't gone on about Lucan. They two of them clearly didn't get along and Cam was sure he was the last person Caitrin wanted to hear her ramble about.Â

Camila sighed sadly. She really wanted him to stay, needed him to stay. She was feeling far better than she had in weeks because he was there with her. "I understand. I'm being selfish, the kingdom needs you more than I do right now." Although she doubted it, she knew that he had a responsibility to Camelot.
He gave her a light kiss that still managed to make her want to melt. Her cheeks turned pink again as she looked at him again. "Alright. Tomorrow. I will hold you to that promise, Lucan." She grinned, the thought that he would be back the next day was reassuring enough to her no matter how sad she was that he was leaving now.
"I love you too." Cam smiled and felt his fingers slip out of her hand before he left. She stood there for a moment, passing her hand behind her ear like her had to push her hair back. Taking back her hand she grinned at the ring. It was a dream for sure, but she was very happy and never wanted it to end. She knew that the next day she would see him again and then she could confirm that all this was really happening.

Camila gave Allard a small grin after she refused his offer of wine but did take seat. "She was very beautiful." She replied to his remark. Amice Aubert had been a very stunning woman from what Cam had seen in the paintings back in the polar. It made Cam smile a little to hear that Lucan's mother would have like her at the first glance. Well, had she been around still today and had she known how she was before Lucan and how she sometimes was when she was away from him, Amice would probably had reconsidered. "Thank you, I am more than happy to hear that."
"I apologise for Lucan's absense at the moment - there have been pressing matters that he's had to deal with. He should be down in a few moments..." Cam went to say that it was alright and that she understood that Lucan was busy when, as if on cue...
"Would now be acceptable? Camila smiled and stood as Lucan walked into the solar. It hadn't been very long since she had last seen him but she missed him every time they were apart as if it had been decades. She had become far less independent since Morgana's reign of terror but fortunately she was stronger now.
Lucan gave her a kiss on his hand and Cam still couldn't stop the blush from coming across her face. "Lucan." She replied, still smiling. Saying things like 'my Lord' didn't feel right with Luc. But he still liked to address her formally at times. She didn't mind.
As Lucan and Allard started to get to an uncomfortable point in their conversation a servant entered the room to inform Luc of the new arrivals. He excused himself and gave her a wink to which she replied with a smirk that could be taken as a grin by Allard. But she knew that Lucan wouldn't be fooled. As he walked out, Cam thought about her little meeting with Griff. Far from pleasant as it was, she hadn't told Lucan quite yet. She intended to use it against him as a sort of blackmail. If he wanted to act that way with her she sure as Hell wasn't going to play nice with him.

Cam felt sad when Lucan said he wouldn't be staying. She hadn't seen him in so long and now he was going to leave again. Lucan walked up to her after her parents had left the room and took her hand. Cam couldn't help but grin a little as he placed a kiss on top of it but looked into his eyes a little sad. "Do you really have to go? I was hoping you would at least stay for diner." Her hands cupped around his hand and her thumb lightly stroked it. She had to embrace the fact that he was still here while he was, she didn't know when she would next see him. She could go see him in Camelot in a few days, she didn't mind that. In fact, Cam loved going to Camelot. Faintree was so boring. Nothing ever happened there, it was too small and now very broken from Morgana's men.

Things had been rather quiet for the past few days. The chaos of meeting Lucan's family a few days before had really tires Cam out but she didn't feel like backing out of the engagement, no matter how many times Luc asked if she was really sure about it. She loved him and wasn't going to leave him because of his family. She was going to marry him and live with him. Yes, his family would be around now and then, but Camila was in love with him and that was all that mattered. Lucan had to stop questioning that.
Since meeting his family, Cam hadn't seen Luc, he had been busy in Camelot and she understood this. No matter how much she wanted to be selfish and keep him for himself. But today she would get a distraction, she had invited her future brother-in-law's finace, Lady Caitrin de Archer, over to her Estate to get to know her better. Without the boys. Cam was rather looking forward to getting to know her better.
"My Lady?" Cam turned in her chair to look at a servant. "Yes, Henry?" She addressed him. "Lady Caitrin is here to see you." Cam smiled and stood up. "Thank you, Henry." She said, dismissing him with a hand on his shoulder as she walked by him and headed off to find Caitrin.
The polar was empty, to her surprise. Had no one brought Caitrin there? Luckly, the polar led straight to the front entrance. "Caitrin," Cam greeted her cheerfully, "I'm sorry nobody showed you to the polar. I'm sure you would like to sit down after your trip here."

Eloise had been waiting for a long time for her daughter to get engaged. She was almost 20, it was about time she got married and started to have family before all her good childbearing years were up. "We must take you to the tailors next week, Camila." She announced as she started to play with her daughter's current dress, dreaming up what her dress would look like for her wedding day.
"Mother, I only just got engaged! Surely it can wait." Cam rebutted, pushing her mother's hands off now and then. After a few times, Eloise started to pushed her hands away. "Oh will you hold still! And the sooner the tailor gets started, the better. So tomorrow, we are going." Her tone was final. It shocked Camila a little, her mother had been like that walking dead lately and now she suddenly found some life. Cam stopped trying to push her mother's hands away and just let her play with her dress.
Cam sighed. "I can't believe this is happening." It was a low whisper but her mother heard her amazement and smiled at her. "How about it going out like this?" Eloise pulled up Camila's dress in order to show her how much volume she imagined her wedding dress to have. Had it been with anyone else, Cam would have pushed them away entirely. She had pulled it up so high, her bare legs were showing. But it was her mother.
"I don't know. It doesn't seem too big?" Cam worried. She wasn't one for big, fluffed dresses. There was a noise, someone clearing their throat. Cam looked up to see that her father and Lucan had entered the room. How long had they been there? That's when she remembered how high her dress was. She took her mother's hands off her dress as quickly as she could and smoothed down her dress. Cam prayed that her father and especially Lucan had not seen that. She really felt exposed. "We have to open it and face them sometime Cam" Cam nodded knowingly. "I know. I'm being selfish." She half pouted. Was it so bad that she wanted to spend as much time with Lucan as she could? She hadn't seen him in such a long time and then he proposed to her. Camila wanted to just hold onto him so much and never let him go.
She smiled when Luc kissed her head. Things would be fine, she knew that. He opened the door and of course her parents were standing right there. My, how her mother looked so pale in the face. Perhaps Cam would have to have the Healer look at her mother soon...
"Camila, if I could prise Sir Lucan from you for a few minutes - there are matters that he and I need to speak of." Aaron spoke to her. "I won't keep him from you for too long." Cam nodded at her father. "Alright." She answered him in a short reply. Cam across to Lucan and gave him a smile before she took her mother into the next room.
Once they had left the men alone, Eloise started to fuss all over her daughter.
