::vaughn:: Hmm. Others had stolen her clothing. Well it certainly did not sound like she was as virtuous as he was suggesting. She seemed all too used to being in the company of a stranger, making advances. It was either incredibly stupid, or something she was extremely experienced in doing. "You make far too many assumptions." He was speaking in response to what kind of man he 'seemed' to her. Now that in his opinion, was incredibly stupid. "Which is not at all wise." Especially when it came to strangers who stole clothing and weapons. "You assume I am not a spy. You assume I am not a rapist. You assume I do not plan." He slightly shook his head in a bit of a 'tsk tsk' manner. "Never assume anything, for you never know what someone is truly capable of." It was not advice to help her through life. He said it as bluntly as if it were fact.
He kept smirking as her hand traced his armor. He was going to push this. He was going to see how far she was going to go. "There is only one way to find out." Surely, she knew what exactly he meant by that. He moved his head a very little bit back, tilting it slightly to the side. "It depends on how strong this curiosity is of yours." He had no qualms with things escalating. If she was bluffing, then it would be up to her to break her bluff. Either way, such interactions had proven to be very entertaining to the nomadic knight.

::vaughn:: As he was hunched over, he chuckled when she cursed at him, saying that she found that to be a suitable name, fitting to him. Was he offended? Not in the least. He was actually rather amused by her shift; from timid to defiant. Even more so because she was not taking advantage of his current state of impairment, nor the distance between them. She was standing there. Interesting. Very interesting. Vaughn, still slightly leaning forward, raised his head as an amused smile formed as he looked at her. "Finally. The darker side of the meek, shy girl is unleashed." He had no problem helping that side of her surface, though something told him it did not happen all too often. Then again, perhaps it did. For if she had a habit of wandering on her own, he doubted any man would just walk by without giving her a second glance.
When the pain began to alleviate a bit, he stood up more straight, not taking a step forward but looking at her too carefully. It was still a bit sore, so he would wait a few moments to regain his strength. Enough so that he would be able to walk without limping, or looking like he had been on a horse for too long. "I certainly hope there is more fight left in you. I am rather enjoying this feisty side of you." Yet another remark of perversion, as he obviously showed no reluctance in saying such crude things.

::vaughn:: Protection. Now what was she referring to, her beast of a dog? He did not ask for he did not wish to divert the subject from what he was trying to focus the conversation on. She seemed to be doing a well enough job of that. But it was not so easy for him to forget, despite her attempt to appear innocent and genuinely curious. "Now what would you be basing your certainty on?" He questioned when she stated that she was highly doubtful that he would rape her. "I did steal your pants after all. Maybe that was the first step." As if it was even possible, he leaned in even closer. "Maybe this is right where I wanted you." While it was a rather appealing position, he had planned for nothing. He never did. Things had just worked out remarkably well.
When she flipped her hair, Vaughn decided he would help with that, tucking a lock of it behind her. Had this been his first action, perhaps it would have been percieved as innocent and almost sweet. But he had made it seem as if his intentions were anything but innocent and sweet. So his act was not intended to be caring and pleasantly intimate. He was not blind to the way she looked at him either, and this only made him chuckle once more, an amused smile dancing on his lips. "It seems that your in-tact virtue has left you, curious." He did not know if she still had her virtue. He was merely making a perverted comment, taking into account the way she looked over him, as if inspecting him. It did not matter if her gaze had been purely innocent. What did matter is how she encouraged him. Teased him. And now, looked at him. If she was uneasy about this, then she was doing a rather good job of hiding it.

::vaughn:: She was getting bolder. Her words made that much clear to him. She was slowly steering away from remaining the shy woman to someone who was beginning to speak up. Whether this was good or bad remained undetermined. She had fully captured the attention of the nomadic knight however and he was not about to let her go. Well, that was what he thought. There were some things that no man was immune to, and one of them, was a certain anatomy of theirs that was very sensitive when directly targeted by oh say, a strong kick with a knee. So yes, Vaughn felt the full impact of it. While he did not cry out in pain, he leaned forward a bit, and in this hunched position, closed his eyes, trying to mask the intense pain he felt from the unexpected attack on his, manhood. If there was one word that was screaming in his mind, it was Ouch!
While it had proven to be rather painful for him, it put her at an advantage. He had not been expecting her to aim for that area, and so his grip loosened on her wrists. She would be able to make a clear get away for sure, but Vaughn right now was focused on making sure she had not made him...permanently injured in a very important part of his body. He would get back to her once the pain began to subside.
[HAHA! Good one Mia! I actually laughed when I read what she did.]

::vaughn:: Vaughn watched casually as she killed one of the men. He was completely indifferent to such actions. The rest ran off like cowards. Vaughn had made no attempt to pull out his sword to aid her. And now, there seemed to be no point for it was only her and him. He looked at her, eying her carefully. But then she started talking. And talking. Interesting. She was revealing quite a bit about herself, more than Vaughn had asked. In fact, he had asked nothing. She willingly offered such information about who she was, where she lived, where she had been, where she was going, everything.
Wait. Had she just referred to him as, her rescuer? Really? Well that was rather dissatisfying. He had done nothing other than spectate. And now, she had deemed him as the man who had helped save her. He did not answer her question, nor did he return the favor of shaking her hand. He just looked at her, a small smirk forming on his lips as he ignored practically everything she had just said. And that was when she started bleeding. Did Vaughn care? Not in the least bit. He looked at the wound without an ounce of compassion before looking at her face once again.
"The woods seem a dangerous place for a woman such as yourself to be wandering through alone." She was of some sort of royal family as she defined herself as Lisa Kentura, stating that she was from a kingdom with the same name. Perhaps that was what her captors wanted of her. It was not what Vaughn wanted of her though. He could care less. Though, his curiosity was slightly raised and seeing how it was either this or boredom, well, for now he chose this.

::vaughn:: Vaughn was not oblivious to where her gaze intentionally, or unintentionally, trailed to. It only made his smirk broaden, especially when she seemed so shy after wards. It was greatly amusing to him, and he expressed as such by chuckling. Without having to say the words, he was assuming she knew what had entertained him so. She had now told him her name and he contemplated returning the favor. His name was no grand secret. It was just one less thing he enjoyed withholding from those he crossed paths with. There was no logical reason for this. Sometimes, it was just to test the creativity of the person asking. "Whichever name you think would suit me best." He stated, out of sheer curiosity to see what she would come up with, above anything else. It could be an insult, it could be a legitimate name. Vaughn waited with anctipation to see what he would come up with.
Now, he felt the compulsion to somehow touch up on her modesty, which as he previously established was contradictory to the way she dressed. "Now what would compel such a modest woman to dress so, provocatively?" He asked, obviously having no complaints with her garment. He just wondered why. What did she do for a living? Or maybe her outfit had nothing to do with a profession, but was just something she wore, somehow native to her culture. Either way, it had peaked Vaughn's curiosity.

::vaughn:: It was a good thing Vaughn was a bit of an insomniac. It was very early in the morning and he needed only a couple hours of sleep to feel rested enough to cause further mayhem in the world. He had been wandering through the countryside, discovering many miles back that he was in Camelot. Where exactly in Camelot, he was unsure. He had just kept walking forward until a massive estate came in to view. The home of a noble family. A wealthy noble family. A wealthy noble family who would have a great deal of money and a horse in their stable, just waiting to be stolen. Yes. Vaughn would gladly enjoy taking a few things from this lovely estate.
Speaking of lovely, something other than the thought of money and a horse suddenly captured his attention. A young woman was making her way into what could accurately be described as a very large hedge maze. Vaughn enjoyed games, but not these kinds of mazes. Never the less, he had the perfect incentive to enter into it. She was walking at a quickened pace, clearly familiar with this hedge maze. While he had not gotten a full look at her, he knew enough to recognize her grace leading him to assume that she was part of the noble family who owned this estate. She was no longer in his sight, but he still followed. He walked aimlessly, and cluelessly, through the greenery. The mist created an ominous atmosphere, making it more difficult to find her through this complicated passage. He had no choice but to move forward though, for while he would not admit it, he was lost in this ridiculous maze.

::vaughn:: She seemed to stop fighting against him which was probably for the best. She still did not look like she was going to fully submit. He had to admit that she was strong willed. Far more than he had initially anticipated. Which made this challenge even more enjoyable. Being so close to her he began to notice the small details of her. While before, he had gained pleasure in merely eying her form and exposed portions of skin. But now, he was looking at the subtle details that created the whole picture. From her incredible blue eyes that held an almost icy pigment, to the curious piercings in her ears that made her stand out and he found actually rather charming, to her long cascading curled hair that went well down her back. Yes. She was a beauty to behold and right now, Vaughn had a hold on the beauty.
He continued to smirk, shifting even a bit more closer to her. He was not about to answer her question, but rather decided to turn it around. "And you did not tell me yours." But as she had so logically pointed out previously, he did not technically ask. "Ladies first," he added, as if manners were something he was so concerned with. Considering his current position and the tears he had caused in the woman's eyes, being polite was not his highest priority.

::vaughn:: It seemed that the tables had turned. She was not a meek, vulnerable woman and who knows for what reason she had been faking to be as such. Vaughn was however, interested in finding out., So when she held the blade against his throat, he lowered his blade. Not as an act of submission but rather, because he did not want to kill her. He wanted to find out more about her. "If you are going to hold a blade at my throat, you should shed some blood to show that you are serious." With that, he put his hand over hers and gently pressed the blade onto his throat, creating a small clean cut. It was his way to show that he was afraid of death, nor was he afraid of her.
When he had hold of her hand, he grasped her wrist and twisted her arm behind her. He moved his position so that he was now standing behind her, keeping a firm hold on her arm, twisting it a bit more to keep it in place. His head was slightly tilted to the side so that he could look at her. "Seems you have been pretending to be something you are not. What possible reason could you have for doing such a thing." His statement was a bit sarcastic, though he was still a bit curious as to what motivated her to pretend to be so injured and in cry for help.

::vaughn:: Her reaction was what Vaughn had attempted to evoke from her. At the same time, she was crying. While he felt no sympathy towards her, it was less amusing to him when a woman lost control of her emotions. He chuckled, finding some strange sense of sadistic pleasure from all of this. She was fighting against him, and while he would not force himself on to her, the fact that she did not know that was what made this entire conversation and situation all the more funny. Well, funny to him. Clearly not funny to her. He continued to stand his ground, not budging even while she tried to push him away.
"And what will happen if I do not?" He questioned, wondering what threat she would throw at him. Or maybe he should approach this from a different perspective. He raised his hands and grabbed his wrists to stop her pounding on his chest. While it did not cause serious injury, it was not exactly the best feeling to be pounded on. Well, not like this anyway. As he held on to her wrists in attempt to cease the hitting, he spoke once again, locking his eyes on to her. "Or what will my reward be if I do?" He asked suggestively, looking at her in such a way that could very well make any woman feel objectified.

::vaughn:: Good god she talked a lot. "You act as if you do not fit the qualities of a victim," he said mockingly. She seemed to try and rationalize that he was not a rapist, which really only amused him. He had been throwing out words and she seemed to try and logically dismiss the idea. Who knew that such a word would call for so much explanation from her. "And who would hear you now? I could easily have my way with you if I so wished." It was not a challenge, nor was it a dare. It was a statement. Though he would obviously not do so. There was no fun in threatening another when one made good on their threat. It took the fun all out of it. Despite using the suggestion of a rapist, she continued to stroke her cheek with his hand, as he found the effect rather arousing. And who would not. She was an attractive woman. And he was a man. It was as simple as that.
"Are you going to make me ask twice?" he asked, not oblivious to her clever dodge of his question. "A rapist may just be an impatient man, unable to wait for his victim to properly answer the question." He planned for nothing, but with their current state, well, it left quite a bit of room for possibility. He still remained close to her, not yet fully closing the distance between them but simply entertaining the idea that he may just do so. He never planned for anything, just as he never planned to engage in such a long conversation with this woman.

::vaughn:: When Vaughn saw who he had heard, a bit of a smirk formed on his expression. While a knight may have stopped, desperate and all too willing to help this distressed woman, Vaughn was not an average knight. And she was about to find that out. He reached into his pocket and took out a coin, flicking it at her. He did not know what happened to put her in such a state nor did he care enough to ask. Once he flicked the coin, he continued to smirk as he spoke. "For whoever has to drag your body out of here. You may as well reward them." And with that, he continued forward, not about to waste his time. She was beautiful, yes. But she was injured and it was no fun to harass an already wounded woman. It was far more amusing when they did not act vulnerable and susceptible to help.
Vaughn did not get far, for as he walked forward, he felt a small hard object hit his head. It was enough to make him freeze in place. He slowly, as if dragging out the moment, turned around, intensely looking at her, practically ignoring all of her words. Did. She. Just. Throw. A. Rock. At. Him. How injured could she possibly be! The smirk vanished and was replaced with a cold hard stare. Despite her violent act, she had intrigued Vaughn. He took a few steps towards her, swiftly pulling out both his swords and pointing the tips of them to her neck. "I should finish the job of whomever left you here to die." Again, he did not care who attacked her, or why she was wounded. The thought that played in his head was just killing her for what she did. Then again, maybe it would prove to be more interesting to keep her alive. Either way, Vaughn stood his ground, for now.

::vaughn:: She was positively delightful. Her air of innocence. Then again, according to her style of dress perhaps she was not as innocent as he thought. Never the less, she seemed to act modest. Yet another contradiction if one accounted for what kind of clothing she was clad in right now. It was so, sensual. Inviting any man to look, inviting any man forward. He was not exception for while he was not a weak man, no man could help but succumb to such a delectable creature. He was noticing all her movements, her apparent discomfort over being alone in the company of a man. And not just any man; him. Which understandably, would not put her mind at any ease.
He took another step forward as she took one back again. It as as if they were both engaged in some sort of informal dance. He was the pursuer and she was the temptation that compelled him to move forward. If she was the reward, then he could play this game all day long. Ahh so there was a man. A father. Who would apparently be along any time now. "Well that does not give us much time then does it," he questioned, now taking a larger step closer to her, slowly inching his way into entering that invisible boundary otherwise known as ones personal space. "And what a father he must be, for he allowed his precious daughter to wander on her own through the woods, dressed in what can only be described as the most captivating of clothing." It had certainly been captivating enough to capture his attention. "Yes. I can see how concerned he must be," Vaughn added sarcastically, a sinister smirk playing on his expression.

::vaughn:: The Forest of Balor; where things went bump in the night. Ok, well not really. But it certainly could not described as a dull place. There was always someone or something lurking about the heavily wooded area. In fact, he had come across a few men, bandits from the looks of it, who he decided to join for the sole purpose of entertainment. Vaughn avoided making ties with others and hell, he would see these people dead just as easily as if they were strangers. Never the less, he had spent the past couple of days with them, wandering aimlessly through the woods. After spending this much time with the bandits, Vaughn had reached the same conclusion he had when he made his first impressions of them: they were all idiots. They harassed passerby's, trying to get what money they could. Vaughn did not join their activities. Not because he was a noble knight of honor. But because it was just so idiotic that he would not join in on their 'fun'. It was far more enjoyable to mock them from a distance.
Upon wakling through the woods, they heard the rustling sound of leaves and a woman's voice shout out, demanding to know who was there. This immediately sparked their interest. A woman. And these men were criminals. Vaughn could only imagine what would happen when the two mixed together. And apparently, he would soon find out. Vaughn did not walk into the clearing with them though. Instead, he watched the eight men surround her, a hungry look in their eyes as they started throwing out inappropriate comments and remarks of perversion. They really were idiots. As Vaughn was dressed in the armor of a knight, he decided to step in, playing up this situation a bit. "What is going on here?" He asked as he stepped into the clear, looking at the young woman, thinking how ridiculous she looked with a sword. Never the less, she was a beautiful creature, and the other eight men noticed this evident beauty as well. Still, Vaughn acted more concerned than he actually was; pretending to be a noble knight who had come to save the damsel in distress.

::vaughn:: Ahh. At last. She had stopped. He chuckled when pointed out that he had not asked her name. That was true enough. "I was far too, distracted to ask such a question," he pointed out as he eyes looked over her once again. Everything about her had distracted him, so yes. It was meant to sound rather perverted, as most of his comments seemed to be thus far. Her glance over her shoulder revealed that she was either wanting someone to come to her aid, though he had not yet done anything, or perhaps she was not alone after all. Maybe there was someone else out there, someone she was hoping would join them. Either way, they were alone right now and Vaughn would not waste a moment. He took a few steps towards her, not yet invading her personal space.
"Are you expecting someone?" He asked curiously with a teasing smile. He completely ignored her comment about his name. He usually did not so readily reveal it. Her comments only further amused him as she pointed out that he did not appear to be a normal knight. "And how would you define, normal?" He asked her, aware of how he differed from other knights at the same time was curious as to what she would say.

::vaughn:: Vaughn could not look away, mostly because his eyes kept resting on the exposed portions on her body. She was far too delicate to be in the middle of the woods, alone, dressed like that. Vaughn may have to teach her the dangers of such attire mixed with solitude in the woods. Of course, say for the irritating cat that clearly had a good judge of character as it already hissed at him. He was not disappointed when she turned to leave for it only meant that he would follow. He waited a few moments though, enjoying the view from behind. That was one reason he did not immediately follow. The other being so that he could give her the illusion that he would not follow. After several moments, not wanting to lose her trail, he began to follow. Taking large, slightly quickened steps after her.
When she seemed to be within ear shot, he spoke. "What is your rush? I did not even get your name." Again, he did not care, but far be it from him to allow such a sight to disappear without looking at it longer. And good god, was she such a sight. Had she no companion? What kind of person would just allow her to wander on her own. While Vaughn would never sexually assault a woman, he knew that there were others who would. He felt no compulsion to protect her. Only to remain in her company because, well, after taking a look at her did one really need to establish more of a reason?

::vaughn:: Vaughn kept his eyes closed, even when he felt the presence of someone. Someone that he did not know was a woman until he heard her speak. She was asking for help. Hmm. Interesting. He kept his eyes closed for a prolonged moment before opening them, one at a time. He looked at her. She was injured, and clearly disheveled. Yet Vaughn made no attempt to get up. In fact, he was rather casual despite the distressed woman in front of him. Instead of leaping to his feet out of concern and compassion, his eyes surveyed her body, starting from her eyes and slowly making their way downwards, pausing in certain feminine areas before his gaze re-focused on her face. Yes. She seemed to be a mess, yet there was a strong underlying beauty about her, and she did not seem like an ordinary peasant.
Vaughn finally rose to his feet, taking only a couple of steps towards her, maintaining a significant distance. "How can I be of assistance to such a fair maiden as yourself?" He asked. Vaughn cared nothing for her, but he would pretend to for now, even if the sole purpose was to deceive and extract information about her. Something about her intrigued him and right now, with her presence, he could think of far more entertaining ways to spend the night other than sleeping.

::vaughn:: A man with no sense of purpose grew easily bored. What little entertainment he could get, was from other people. He had been wandering through the woods for hours with no success of another human being. In a way that was both a good thing and a bad thing. Either way, Vaughn was terribly annoyed, desperately in search of something to occupy himself with. It was then that he heard light footsteps from nearby, as well as a strange jingling sound. Coins perhaps. Whoever it was, could be rich and Vaughn was always on the lookout for a suitable person to rob. Part of the fun of being clad in knightly attire, was that most others automatically assumed he was a man of honor. Vaughn was no such person, and the deception was often amusing to play out. Right now, he was intrigued by the strange jingling sound of a nearby wanderer and as he had nothing better to do, began to follow the source of the sound.
It did not take long for his gaze to rest upon a young woman. A young woman who was not dressed to her fullest. A young woman who caused a smirk to form on Vaughn's lips. This was going to be fun indeed. He stepped into view, making his presence known, though he did not speak right away. Instead, he eyed her, his gaze slowly trailing up and down her body, scanning it in a manner that was meant to make her feel uncomfortable. Now whether she would feel such was something Vaughn could not entirely control. What he did know was that he was going to have some fun with his woman, who seemed the slightest bit distressed. "Well, well. Now what would a ravishing creature such as yourself be doing in the woods all alone, with no man to protect her." He was not concerned about her safety, but was more so implying that there were indeed dangerous others lurking about. And he could certainly play that role.

::vaughn:: Vaughn was in the market for a new horse. After managing to escape the Caerleon castle, after a rather pleasant encounter with the princess herself, Vaughn was still not entirely prepared to leave Gwent. Firstly, he needed a steed and second, well no. That was it. Of course he would have to wait a bit for he was still considered to be a fugitive right now. It had been the second time he broke into the castle and he was not going to let himself get caught again. He made his way into the heavily wooded area of the forest, deciding that this would be the best place to lay low until he could return to the city and steal an animal that would grant him a speedy exit from this kingdom.
As he wandered through the woods, he heard the rustling of leaves from, somewhere. Wait. Was that someone who was softly crying? Slightly intrigued, Vaughn followed the sign of her voice. It did not take long for he had been close enough to hear all the sounds. And so, within moments he came a across a woman. He stood there, looking at her. She was what could be conveniently described as a 'damsel in distress'. Unfortunately for her, Vaughn was no knight in shining armor.

::vaughn:: The day had been uneventful, to say the least. Vaughn was returning from some time spent at a nearby tavern. Unfortunately, his interest there had been short lived. Instead he decided to venture further into the woods, away from the village where the small tavern was located. It was there that he learned he was in Escetia. At least that gave him some sense of direction, even if he had no destination set in mind. Vaughn was not sure how long he had been moving for. What he did know was that when he left the tavern it had been afternoon, and now the sun was in the middle of setting. With that realization, he finally paused at a clearing, looking around to make sure that no one else was around. Not because he was worried about the dangers that lurked about. But because he did not want to be disturbed.
When he seemed to be the only one, he seated himself on the ground, leaning his back against a tree trunk. He kept his two swords strapped to his back, as he never took them off. Once he made one more adjustment he closed his eyes, prepared to catch a few hours of sleep. He had not fully drifted before hearing the rustling of some leaves nearby. It sounded like a person.
